fe avatar doodles: mail addition (robin /corrin / byleth / alear. sorry to kris again). they have experienced less changes compared to how i draw the girls, though robin is the only guy i really focus on.

male alear i found was a little easier to draw this go around, but perhaps i was already prepared for what to expect after drawing the female design? still... so many details...

dont have much else to say. just wanted to complete the collection.

I don't really know why, but rather then Rhealeth, this drama around Alear and the Fell twins reminds me of how some people were bothered that Morgan could date character who can be their siblings in world/timeline

Oh I can see why

It's how people were screaming should you ship idk Morgan with Lucina no matter how his hair is colored because "Chrobin is canon <3" or whatever they viewed M!Morgan as her brother so you weren't allowed to ship them. Same thing, some people will be offended at a idk drawing of Severa kissing Robin even if she has her default hair color because they married/ship Cordelia and therefore they view this ship weirdly, never mind that in canon Robin has no wife and only one canon kid.

Basically, people don't understand that even if you ship Nel or Rafal with the Alear of their dimension... you are still essentially shipping them with the same character just with a different hair color, and boi does it not help their case that in their Emblem form Alear looks exactly identical to their Xenologue alter ego. That's this resoning that IS followed to make them romance in the first place. It ultimately doesn't matter the color of the hair, they are character that are considered to be shippable with at least one version of a same character so to IS it's enough grey area to make them romance and to call it a day.

And this shows because whever they speak of Nel x Isekai Alear they say "her Alear' or "her Divine dragon" but never just "Alear". However when they speak of Sombron and Nel they never say "her Sombron" or "her Fell dragon" just Sombron. So which one is it ? Cause even if you say it' another Alear you will still tagg a fanart of isekai Alear with the "Alear tagg". Either you distinguish every counter part, either you don't. You can't do it only when it seems convinient for you and then get morally offended at people for not doing what you do
