the gang was escaping from a place with explosives and suddenly goemon realized that he had left the zantetsuken inside and he ran after it and no one could stop him, and then when he tried to escape it was too late , and when it seemed that all was lost, pops broke into the place and rescued goemon, and most of the explosion burned him of course, but here they are alive and well.

lupinktober day 6: GOLDEN
cause Zenigata has a golden heart
or a heart of gold.
this is one of the multiple times in which:
1. lupin and company try to steal something with an elaborate plan.
2. zenigata discovers it and starts chasing them.
3. lupin ends in underpants.
4. the chase ends with a blow, fall or car accident.
5. zenigata catches lupin, but cannot leave him injured and heals him before locking him up.
(spoiler for step 6, which comes next: lupin takes advantage of zenigata's candid soul, throws povidone iodine in his face and runs off)

i can't believe i absolutely forgot to post this drawing here. it was my lupin iii secret santa for @mountainmolasses. his fav lupin movie is mistery of mamo, so i created this unpublished post-credits scene from the movie.
man, lupin is so damn tired of running between explosions that he doesn't really feel like walking to the police station and takes advantage of zenigata's tirelessness (at least until he can get the handcuff off his ankle).
i have fallen in love with mamo style. i can't wait to draw it again.
