AHH I can't stop imagining Sirius putting on one of those Harper's Bazaar or Vogue Day in the Life/73 questions videos featuring Regulus and just absolutely dunking on him for all the weird product placement/aspirational lifestyle things his family makes him do in it.

(for those of you who don’t know they are referencing the fic i’m outlining for rn, loosely called ‘keeping up with the blacks’, where regulus and the blacks are the stars of a famous reality show and james is the nepo baby actor son of two famous actors)

i won’t spoil which character it is but i already have a whole chapter in the outline dedicated to one of them doing a vogue 73 questions (also maybe a AD welcome to my home??), and i might even have several of them do it LOL

I thought about glimpses of heaven again and how important that fic is to me and, this might sound a little weird, that i actually enjoy you not having a fixed uploading schedule and not uploading super often. It makes it feel very natural and very loved, like youre just writing because you care about the story youre telling and not necessarily to please people. Makes the chapters feel all the more special, like, yes, i AM getting a glimpse of heaven there

Hi hi hi! I just found out that you released chapt 6 and 7 of glimpses of heaven and rushed to read them.

Your characterisations are so so- interesting and perfect, I love how you write james and reg like a teenage boys, y'know. james messes up, he can be harsh, is painfully oblivious to what he's feeling, he's 3 dimensional and i think you've really done him so much justice. regulus isn't just this emotionally unavailable guy too, he slips and opens up sometimes and regrets it right after. no pressure ofc, but will you write a regulus pov? (sorry if you've already been asked this) it'd be awesome to know more about his thoughts on james' insistent questions/chatting and his own relationship with wally and onion.

Also your writing style!!!! like its genuinely so funny and casual, it really feels like james' inner monologue and is so fun to read

oh my goodness you are so darling. first of all i’m so happy that you’re enjoying glimpses of heaven so far!!!!!

my characterizations are something i work really hard on (and i definitely don’t always get it exactly how i want to), but it’s honestly a big part of the reason that writing takes me awhile. sometimes i’ll write a whole bunch of dialogue, but then i’ll have to go back through and remove things that i don’t feel like are genuine to the way i’m painting the characters.

and i would definitely love to write from regulus’s perspective!!! part of my dilemma right now is that i kinda wanna keep the mystery alive if that makes sense? like james obviously has not figured out how he feels about reg, and i feel like it’s kinda fun that we currently have no clue how reg feels. like does he know he’s gay? is he into james already? i currently have plans to do a reg chapter after he and james have their first kiss (which will happen eventually i promise). that’s also part of the reason i haven’t done sirius’s pov, like i kinda like that we only see their relationship through remus atm.

but that being said there’s a few things that are really needed from reg’s perspective so it is definitely coming down the line!!! and i’m feeling a bit tempted now so there’s a chance we could get a reg pov before he and james kiss, but it would probably be purposefully avoidant of his sexuality and thoughts of james and instead focus on his home life and relationship with barty, so no promises but we’ll see.

I think I would love either way whether Sirius is in the show or not. But I could see him leaving the show and the family in a dramatic way in the past that was partially filmed and it’s till the most popular and talked about episode of the show, even seasons after it. So the family keeps trying to get him back into it, in the most various and possibly awful ways (depending how dark the Blacks will be)

Anyway I just wanted to reply because I love your writing and this idea is so fresh and I’m already very excited!!

i’m thinking orion and walburga are so into publicity (good or bad) that they sign the type of contracts that basically lets the producers of the show air whatever footage they want, no matter how personal, and there are cameras all over the house.

ergo it leading them to being able to air the big fight w sirius and him leaving almost in it’s entirety. which, like you said, becomes super popular. love love love.

i like what you’re saying about them always trying to pull him back in for views too, now i just gotta decide which of them is the most fake hungry that they’d go for him like that

I absolutely adore your Regulus and James. James is not perfect. He is angry and I love it! It is really difficult (almost impossible) to read a different personality other than the always happy and perfect little sunshine. This is gold. WE LOVE A NOT FLAWLESS JAMES.

And Regulus, he is so- I don't even know how to describe it. He is so interesting and elegant, I really love it. And the dynamic of these two. AHHHHHHH.

just for curiosity sake was wondering how/if you deal with lack of motivation (or attention span). just because it is something i really struggle with in terms of my school work esp because im in my last section of massive english exams (alevels), if you’ve picked up any tricks or tips as a student or a writer please share i beg, have a great rest of your week hope the new job is treating you well!

this is so sweet of you to ask, but i am the worstttt at this. to be totally honest with you, my biggest flaw in life (and when i was in school) was that i always threw myself at the things i was interested in and the things i wasn't interested in suffered as a result. i think the best advice i can give is don't waste all your energy fighting your nature :) i was always trying to become a perfect student, and truthfully i did fine, but i had a bad habit of only putting actual effort into my history classes bc that's what i enjoyed. a little over a year ago i ended up dropping out of college and pursuing coding bc it was something i liked and this way i could do it on my own schedule. and (remember when i told you guys i got a new job?) now i'm about a month into my first big girl job as a software engineer, and i didn't even have to totally change myself to do it!
