The hashtag #WhereIsRudy trended recently in Thailand, Rudy’s home country, and has been noticed trending in other countries including the US, Vietnam, Brazil, and The Philippines over the past 24 hours. This is likely in response to fans noticing that all of Rudy’s social media pages have either been scrubbed of their content or deleted altogether. Fans were already concerned after Lovemonth started making appearances and doing performances after their recent hiatus as Rudy was nowhere to be found. In fact, her parts had been re-recorded by the various members of Lovemonth and her absence had not been commented on by the members. Sources as well as worried fans have repeatedly reached out to YURI&Co. for a statement: their representatives simply stated that she is “on hiatus” choosing to redirect the conversation to Lovemonth’s potential summer comeback. After the Rudy vs. Yeojeong fiasco and the overall mistreatment of Rudy in the eyes of the fans, they fear that she may have left the group for good.

Lovemonth Updates! YURI&Co. released a statement earlier today amid growing controversy related to their group, Lovemonth. They begin by thanking fans for sticking with the group for this long and apologizing for being so silent before announcing Lovemonth is having a comeback at the end of this month! It has been eight months since their last comeback, which was their single album MOON released in October 2021. The statement also addressed the heavily speculated absence of Rudy: she is indeed on hiatus due to showing symptoms of anxiety and depression. so around 2 pm est rudy went live on her twitch channel (it's the same as her ig) and was saying that she had enough and was gonna talk about the things she experienced that made her feel like she had no other choice but to go home 1/?

first she thanked the fans for their concern and making her name trend after she went missing. she wants to make it clear that she IS okay and that she's safe and sound at her parents house. still there's some questions that she wanted to answer and some things she 2/?

1) she basically said yurinco has been treating her like shit. they pay her less and later than all the other members and when she asked why the financial officer responded "aren't you rich?" her manager heard about this and yelled at her for 10 minutes straight 4/?

2) EVERYONE was making weird comments about her being thai. she even said that one of the older male staff "joked" about her being a sw and when she told her manager he laughed and basically told her to suck it up 5/?

3) she tried to leave the dorms after hours to get some meds once and got caught by the manager. he took her phone away and gave her an even earlier curfew. she mentioned other members had been caught sneaking out multiple times with no consequences 6/?

4) she got punished for small things that the other members didn't and every time she got punished her phone was taken away. it got taken away so often that any time she didn't call her parents for a while they just assumed she had been punished for something 7/?

5) she got really emotional about not being able to call her family and make sure they're okay especially because her father's been sick. her mother called once and the manager answered and when she said it was an emergency he told her she'd call back and hung up the phone 8/?

6.1) this was all pretty fucking terrible but she said the worst was escape room. she was originally supposed to take part in it BECAUSE IT WAS HER IDEA. she had been talking to the girls about a mature, elegant concept and some of them encouraged her to tell the manager 9/?

6.2) one of the girls (she didn't mention who) volunteered to tell the manager and she agreed. the member told the manager who set up a meeting with the ceo who loved the idea, but the member took the idea for herself and didn't say it was actually rudy's 10/?

6.3) she was furious when she found out and they had a huge screaming match over it. she said the member literally told her "i outrank you, you need to learn your place in this group" and said some other really disrespectful things and that's when she decided to leave 11/?

YURI&Co. responds! A few hours ago, YURI&Co. released a statement in regards to the serious allegations made by Rudy in her recent live video of favoritism, harassment, colorism, and many other serious issues. "We are taking these claims very seriously and consulting with our legal team to take the proper steps forward," the statement reads. It was also stated that the company will be doing an internal investigation to "determine the veracity of these claims". The latter part of the statement announced that the schedule of events for Lovemonth and their members will be changing effective immediately. The Byeol & Hotaru subunit has been postponed, the planned Lovemonth comeback will be taking its place, and an indefinite hiatus has been planned for the members once these promotions are complete. First, they confirmed that Rudy, while "[her] condition is steadily improving", unfortunately would not be able to join for the next comeback due to her prioritizing her mental health. The press release continued with some good news: trainee Go Saetbyeol has been promoted to being a temporary member of Lovemonth! "We have been eyeing her progress and have a great deal of confidence in her abilities and charms," the press release stated. It has not yet been confirmed whether she will eventually join the group as a permanent member, possibly replacing Rudy if she chooses to depart from Lovemonth in the future. Unit debut and group comeback! A source at YURI&Co., Lovemonth's company, revealed the group will be making at least two comebacks before the year ends. The first, which is "in the final process of preparation", will come in the form of a unit debut featuring members Byeol and Hotaru. This is presumably to take advantage of the recent boost in popularity the two experienced after their appearances in the web series My Girlfriend’s a K-Pop Idol!. The second will be a group comeback with "a brand new style". This source has not revealed whether Rudy will be part of this comeback or not, but it is presumed that she will continue to sit out group activities as she is still being sighted in her hometown of Phuket. Since their debut this past August, the girls of Lovemonth have stayed busy showing off their acting skills in dramas, letting their chaotic side run loose on variety shows, performing iconic cover stages, and of course doing the most important job of all for an idol group: making great music. Unexpected success of BLACKMAMBA! BLACKMAMBA, the fictional group from the K-drama Showtime! Making the Idol released their self-titled "debut single" alongside this past episode. The single, which was available for streaming on all music sites the same day, became instantly popular! The song at this moment is currently sitting at 73,914 streams on Spotify and #26 on the iTunes K-pop charts. FUNFACTORY and Lovemonth release special single produced by VRCHXR! In a special collaboration, FUNFACTORY members Sunny and Youngeun join forces with their labelmates, Lovemonth's Yeojeong and Chowon. With the help of YURI&Co.'s star producer VRCHXR, the unit give us "Not Friends", a chill R&B track about boldly letting someone special know you want to be more than just friends. This is Lovemonth's first collaboration since debuting late this past summer while this is FUNFACTORY's second collaboration of the year after Yeonah and D.O's special release this past spring. Rudy cast in her first acting role! Lovemonth's Rudy, 7LITE's Linney, and soloist Genie are cast in the drama Showtime! Making the Idol. The drama will revolve around the trials and tribulations of up-and-coming girl group BLACKMAMBA. The fictional quartet is managed by equally fictional company The Black Entertainment run by CEO Ku Yong-seok, the former CEO of industry superpower IM Media, who left his previous company under mysterious circumstances. The three idols as well as actress Yoo Ki Jeong (known for her role in the psychological thriller Contagion) will be playing the four members of BLACKMAMBA: Chantel, Sujin, KiKi, and Aina respectively. Meanwhile, legendary actor Gang Byeong Hoon will be tackling the role of the ambitious CEO looking for the next big thing. Showtime! Making the Idol is available for streaming right now on Viki!

Lovemonth's debut confirmation! In a recent Vlive, the group confirmed that they are in the final stages of preparation for their debut. Leader Yumin stated, "It's been a long time coming and we're very excited to finally be debuting. Our title track is really fun, but honestly the entire album is great. Please look forward to it, aelifes!" When a fan asked when exactly can they expect to debut, Yeojeong replied, "It should be sometime in mid-August. Lovemonth's first comeback postponed! Rookie girl group Lovemonth was supposed to begin activities for their first-ever comeback "MOON" next week, but YURI&Co. has announced their comeback will be postponed to October 15th. E-NU Media's Acquisition! Small company E-NU Media was bought out by Tastemaker Inc. No plans have been revealed as to why this move was made, but CEO Na Deokhyun was quoted saying, "Tastemaker Inc. wishes to become a 'jack-of-all-trades' in the entertainment industry to better support our family of talented individuals and help them become the well-rounded artists they were meant to be." The most prominent name under E-NU Media is Rockhaya Nichelle. The Senegalese-Korean model/influencer has expressed interest in all areas of the industry, so it's possible we may see her in the lineup of Tastemaker's next girl group!
