This one was made for a roleplay with my irl best friend (who doesn't have Tumblr, sadly *sob*), so for RP reasons I have muuuch more painted portraits/concept art/sketches/turn arounds in my folders, AND OFC RP sheets with stats... yes, we roll dices to decide actions like a DnD. But for Lorax lore. Tis funi. :> Aaand double yes, I have too many RP and I'll never stop doing more and more HAHAHA - This one is mixing 1972 short film and 2012 movie tho I may post more soon ! I also received yesterday a special something I did in collaboration with my two best friends and I'm excited to show it to you ! Quick sketch after work ! I did another "What if ...?" edition ; I simply enjoy the fact that the Once-ler likes cactus- ᕕ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)ᕗ Frequently asked question to which I answer immediately here: Yes everything is digital because I extremely rarely show my tradi art !

Ok it all started at 3AM with a simple doodle, then a second one, then moar doodling and... you know how it ends :'D

Yesterday my little sister wanted to discover the Lorax when she saw a picture of the Once-ler ("I don't know who he is, but I know I have a crush on him" she told me word for word when she saw his photo, "I do say he's damn attractive" she added when she saw his Greedler version), I was super happy to make her discover the movie. I couldn't help but sketch Oncie a few minutes before going to bed!

My best friend and I often say that we'd like to see more of the Greedler, who wasn't used enough, like in the old short film and in the book. We also sometimes like to imagine what it would be like if Once-ler hadn't sold his Thneed and had agreed to live quietly in the valley with the inhabitants.

That's basically what I sketched !

I discovered The Lorax this month and let's just say that... yes, the Once-ler totally stole my heart and became my #1 obsession very quickly xD

This month alone I've watched the movie around three or four times a week, I immediately bought the DVD that I keep on my shelf, I've shown it to all my friends, I know all the songs by heart in French and in English (especially those of the best character, I named the Once-ler) INCLUDING the demos (totally fan of "Biggering" and "Nobody needs a Thneed"); I know the choreographies, I've seen cut scenes and storyboards...

I CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING ELSE BUT HIM, HELP ME

I don't often do fanart (not to say I NEVER do) but I wanted to do a little crossover between him and the character I'm working on for my job (an illustrated book) in his honor! I enjoyed doing it, so maybe I'll sketch some more, and without a crossover!

(Don't judge me, I'm already way too far gone and I assume)

Oops, Onceler again ? Onceler again ! This one is a request made yesterday from my RP friend @mintieteabag ♥ Her OC with Oncie, for her ship :^3

I really enjoyed to draw that one ! Especially since I finaly had the opportunity to draw Oncie without his hat buuut with his little gloves, in the garden of his family's house !

Did I make sketches instead of doing my today's rendering work for my editor? Yes yes yes, oops.

Some doodles of the roleplay I'm doing with @mintieteabag; I was able to quickly sketch some extracts for fun! I'm so happy to be able to roleplay with someone in the Lorax lore :^)

It doesn't take me long to do the sketches and I've been RPing for years, so it's the perfect combo to motivate me to get to my work next.

So glad to have the opportunity to doodle the Once-ler on this occasion! I have more idea of him to come, not necessarily related to this rp (but still in messy BW style bcs I'm lazy xD). Meanwhile enjoy a charadesign created in a hurry for this rp, and a bonus page !
