Meet my old ass Ponysona, Droplet Bleaux!
Let me explain that terrible second name 👀💧
Back then when I was a wee lad, I thought the letter combination of “EAUX” made the “OO” sound and used it. To my dismay years later, I discovered that it makes an “OH” sound and I ended up liking how the word “Bleaux” looked, so despite my mistake, it stuck, and now I read it as “BLUE” with a cool spelling.
Droplet here is a Crystal Pegasus with a pet parasprite, and her cutie mark is a paintbrush with blue paint on its tip.
That’s all there is to her xD. She has no backstory. I just like making myself as a character and that’s it pfft.

okay this is a little fun a little sassy silly…… i dig it i vibe….. i’m currently at my grandparents house taking my dog out so i think it’s a good time to go through my past ~14 months and together we can see where i fell off the wagon (SLASH GEN i promise i’m not being snarky! i really do want you all who have supported me to know i’m okay + what i’ve been up to)

july 2021: artfight happens, i do two attacks and then just stop drawing ANYTHING. i started sewing again briefly which was the second crafty hobby i had before drawing (first was origami!), so that eats up my time. if i remember i want to edit this when i’m home and add a picture from my old phone of me sitting on my bed with my cats, sewing a “sock creature” (PLEASE please if you have the time look up john murphy’s sock creatures, his first book was so formative to me)
august 21: i start working at spirit halloween!!
september 21: i become close friends with this guy Vincent, we had known of each other for a while and were mutual fans of each other’s art but here we start talking on a daily basis!!!
october 21: obviously The Big One for a spirit employee, it was halloween all month baby! i had three costumes (the third was Raph from tmnt but i don’t have a pic 😿)
(side note i LOVE the turtles, the reason i got that black wig in the goth cat costume was to cosplay casey jones from tmnt2012)
november 21: by the nature of spirit halloween i am now unemployed. i try hbwr seeds for the first time which to answer the original question is most likely what i smoked to make this blog inactive
december 21: I BREAK UP WITH MY EX!!!! i found his secret pr0$h!p twitter on christmas eve so i timed pretty much the exact midpoint between christmas and new years and broke it off then
january 22: i reorganize my life!! i get a new bed frame and other furniture for my room to celebrate my fresh start. i find a very rudimentary children’s sewing machine at goodwill and get fully back into making sock creatures!!!! plus i hack a 3ds, but i know we’re all doing that
february 22: this is where i really do just become burned out for a bit, i do JACK SQUAT except make a G2 Tier Maker:
march 22: i start taking job hunting seriously… ALSO me and Vinnie who i mentioned back in september keep talking and keep growing closer; i send him a playlist of songs that make me think of our ponysonas and for the first time it becomes really clear to each of us how much we like one another 💥 the playlist in question:
april 22: i turn 24! i also start working at taco bell. i also stop working at taco bell. i watch a good chunk of pac man and the ghostly adventures
may 22: probably my favorite month of the year thus far! i journal every day, go to the park, work hard around the house and in general do what feels gratifying to me!
june 22: i go to a pride event in my city and run into a girl who i bought a teddy bear purse from at spirit! she mentions applying at the McAlister’s that’s opening next month and i follow suit; it goes poifectly and my training starts at the beginning of…
july 22: DELI TIME! i’m trained to work prep which means folding up all the meat that gets used for sandwiches, plus slicing n dicing various produce. Vincent and I are like 💓official💓 at this point or whatever….. :)
august 22: i adjust to life behind the industrial-grade rotary slicer. i get back DEEP into webkinz. Vincent and i meet up for the first time!!!!!!!!!!!!!
september 22: loooots more boyfriend time 🎉 but also i go back to school 👎
now: well damn! i’m in a little bit of a rut in full honesty; i only have so much energy in a given day and i spend most of it on work and school. i am so grateful for everyone who has shown me patience, and i want to prove that it wasn’t “wasted” on me in any way. i still have a lot of personal work to do before i can post on a reliable schedule again

My ponysona
He’s half dragon half pony and partially changeling and Luna’s secret magically created son. He was raised by Celestia and has no idea he’s Luna son. He hatched from a dragon egg.
Here’s his backstory as promised. I’m probably gonna make separate post about him going into more depth but for now this is what I’ve got.
Sweets has no idea what he wants to do with his life. He likes writing but has never finished writing a book. Despite having the prince title it’s really only in name as Celestia has chosen Twilight as her heir and while Sweets never wanted that power she still harbors a hint of jealousy at not even being considered. They feel lost and aimless, watching their friends seemingly already knowing what to do with their lives. It’s not all bad through, Twilight and friends makes sure of that. Though there’s something his mother isn’t telling him about and Aunt Luna seems uncomfortable around him. She has this sad look on her face everytime he’s in the room and can’t look him in the eyes.
Maybe she wanted kids and wasn’t able to do? Oh well, it’s probably nothing anyway. At least he’s got Twilight and her friends, which are now also his friends as well, his other friends Blueblood and Fancy Pants, their book club with Twilight, and sometimes rainbow Dash, and his mom of course. Surely nothing could ruin this? There is one thing that it keeps thinking about. What the buck was Queen Chrysalis talking about? What was she hinting at? another alicorn princess couldn’t have created him, Cadance wasn’t even born and Luna wouldn’t have created him. It just wouldn’t have made sense for her to do that. He knows it was somepony besides Celestia but it was probably just a really powerful normal unicorn. Well at least Ponyville is pretty nice. (Except for the fact his ex, Filthy Rich lives there.)
Surprise surprise it was Luna that created him or should I say Nightmare Moon. Anyway he was by an extremely powerful insurance policy in case something happened to her. The heir to her legacy as it were, a means to an end. If she got banished or even worse, killed, he would take over in her stead. A perfect combination of her alicorn pony magic, dragon, and changeling all rolled into one and in the perfect neat package of a dragon egg. Of course when she got banished to the moon Sweets egg was discovered by Celestia and Sweets immediately hatched afterwards. Celestia contemplated destroying him with her magic but seeing those cute eyes and chubby face she couldn’t do it. So she raised him as her own. She planned to tell him he was Luna child, she really did! But as the years went by and then centuries, she just bring herself to. That knowledge would shatter his whole world.

Carrie Go-Round is a unicorn with carousel themed magic. Carousel magic works in mysterious ways. It can direct the magic somewhat and hone certain patterns through repetition, but it’s ultimately at the whims of the fate chosen for it. Usually everything works out just fine though.
While actively using its carousel magic and wearing its saddle, it can prance on top of air. It takes others on rides through the sky using this, giving them time and space to think through a problem they’ve been having. These rides can involve a conversation, a magical spectacle of lights and music, or simply peace and quiet, whatever will help the other pony best. Flying, putting on light shows, and making music are all come naturally when the magic is in service of another.
Carrie has adapted an outwardly carefree and playful nature. It’s partially its true self, and partially a defense mechanism in response to the lack of control that the carousel makes it feel. When you’re stuck going around in one big circle, it’s easy to feel aimless and confused. Helping someone else with a problem of theirs always makes it feel better though. It's also fond of rhymes, puzzles, and riddles.
It’s somewhat taller than average. Not very strong, but when its magic is active any passengers feel light as a feather. Both the color and shape of its hair is all natural.

Art process thoughts:
An idea for a ponysona design popped into my head the other day and I'm really happy with how it turned out! Multiple times I've played with designing a ponysona by taking more grounded and literal elements of myself but none of those struck me as exciting or fun. Being freely indulgent and overdesigning a pastel magic horse is way better.
In terms of the drawing itself, this is probably the closest you'll ever see me mimic the G4 artstyle! I referenced a couple screenshots of pinkie to get an idea for scale, and then I cut apart my rough sketch into chunks so I could stretch out the neck & back because I like when the bodies are longer than proportions on the show. This also doubles as making its tallness present in the art but really I would've done that regardless.
The carousel concept is a fun way to tie in the colorful aesthetics with themes of cycles and fate. Girls love to be stuck in a loop of mayyyybe their own choosing. And it also means I get to bring back the saddle & bridle fashion concept Lauren Faust considered for the show's pitch bible. It's definitely kind of weird but in a fun way.
Carrie Go-Round like Merry-go-round but also like Carrie short for Carousel but also like Carry because she physically carries other ponies & helps lift them emotionally. Do you get it.
This is my first time adding ALT text to my images; I did my best to be thorough but not too verbose.
Miscellaneous design thoughts: I love pink and green together! IRL horse coat patterns are so so cute I wish more MLP characters had them. Plus the bubbly shapes on the hooves match her cloud prancing. Duality is everything to me: two different shapes and colors of hair, two symbols on its cutie mark, two little eyelashes. Although I tried less to make it look like me, its hair still has the same general shape (however mine will only rarely form curls like that all on its own). Also the cutie mark arrows being green is a slightly inspired by a real dream I had about getting my cutie mark:
I've been meaning to make a ponysona for a long time now. All in all this was very fun to do and now I'm excited to draw more of my own OCs and their interactions.

normally I have to put in a lot more effort to overcome this extremely unreasonable take, but these were drawn so long ago that I actually feel a bit disconnected from the version of me who drew them.
back then I usually drew on loose leaf paper and threw them out when I got tired of them (I still do this), so I didn't think I had any drawings older than a few years until I dug these books out from the back of a cabinet
(using the pencil in lieu of a signature, not that anyone would steal these)
there was a fan artist I followed who could draw in (what seemed to be) every style in the world, so my younger self decided that being able to draw everything in every style in the world was obviously the pinnacle of artistic skill
I stopped caring about developing my own style and went through a phase of just practising other people's styles for a few months
it's all very wonky and the lines are unconfident and there are smudges everywhere and I have a bad habit of drawing on both sides of the paper(I still do this)
but I feel like the young artist who did this was making a genuine attempt at learning how to draw everything
ok, a mostly-genuine attempt at learning how to draw cute cartoon animals and not much else
there's also an alarming amount of 90s shoujo-style doodles here that I'm not putting online

I stopped watching mlp after Twilight became a princess so this has to be from before that. was that really 2012? what year is it??
even though I neglected developing it, there is still a style that I call "my" style - it's the one that I find easiest to draw.
These are more recent, maybe 2016-2017? 2017 is recent, right? omg what year is it???
maybe it's because of the recent discourse about genAI vs human art that I've become more charitable towards amateur work, including my own. (it helps that while I know I drew these, I don't remember the process of drawing them, so it feels like I'm looking at someone else's work and I don't have the immediate gut reaction to trash it)
it's certainly more effort than what the genAI frauds are doing.
I don't think there's anything wrong with mimicking a style you like - styles can't be copyrighted, so if you have the skill to replicate it then it's fine.
Prompting "in the style of [artist name]"/img2img "to the style of [artist name]" is different because it's a cheating shortcut - you didn't earn that ability. You didn't put in the work. You're nothing like the max skill fan artist who could draw in every style.
New Year is in a few days
I'm going to ditch the perfectionism. My work is fine. My work from 10+ years ago is fine. Everything I do has more soul than the frauds using their plagiarism machines. I want to upload more often again.

They're funny, I swear. Please remember that these are just virtual pets and stuffed animals. I will not rise from the depths of hell to strike you down for liking them (as metal as that would be).
Something about pets with spots just looks nasty. The signature German shorthaired pointer has a cute plush, but please, keep those in-game spots away from me. Also earth fawn looks like leafeon. Here's a cute image of the dog plush as compensation to whoever this take pisses off.
Reindeer calf's smile sees something in my soul that even I didn't know was there. Fear. It's some kind of fear. He looks cute in-game though, promise. I have to give it to purple goldfish, however, for having the cooler pet specific item (and being purple).
Honestly, poodle and mocha pup are equally as good. Defaulting to poodle for simply being more OG.
Wow I hate the cute octopus, but I hate the pioneer pony's patterning more. From afar, it looks like its flesh is falling off the bone. Put it out of its misery.
I can't stop thinking about how the kiger mustang looks like Chris Mclean's ponysona. HELP.

Ok, tanuki versus axolotl is a wild matchup. These two are tanks that could easily destroy many other foes, and yet they wound up together. Pity. I sided with tanuki for weeb points.

Kiwi parrot is a very cute concept, but I'm handing it to the sea otter for also being cute, and, more importantly, having a plush.

Cocoa dinosaur is a lesson in how to do Valentine's day without inadvertently telling me you only learned 2 colors in preschool (pink and red).
Angora bunny has a cute plush, but they really dropped the ball with the wing-like ears. Buttons bear is stinkin' cute, however, and comes with a little sewing machine. Bless.
Basset hound. It has everything. Being a classic pet, having a cute plush, and, most importantly, being able to wear more than just shirts, hats, and glasses. Sorry not sorry, blue bay dolphin.
Signature cheetah is so yellow, it looks like cheese. I like cheese.
The boxer is inoffensive, but sheep is baby.

What I used
And a little info on the characters. They are Miraculous Ladybug OCs made on the spot. The characters holding the butterfly and rabbit miraculouses are the villains, and the holder of the fox and bee miraculouses is actually one person, the hero of the story. None of them have names. (name suggestions would be appreciated though)
This is my ponysona, Ellie. I've had them for a long time, and they've gone through many changes since their creation. They are probably one of the first OCs I made that I really got attached to. (Btw their magical aura/horn magic is orange.)
This is my persona, Eliza. A fun fact about Eliza is that when I first made them, they were just a human version of Ellie, kinda like the Equestria Girls. But now they're basically a whole other character, I barely even associate the 2 together anymore.
My persona, Lee! Possibly my most personal sona, out of all of my OCs they're the most like me, even down to appearance! But a weird fact about them that we do not share, is that they love red, I don't like red that much.
My blueysona, Angel! Not much to say about them, except it's a little difficult replicating them in this Picrew. It's not the creator's fault in any way, it's just that my OC is a bit complicated.
My personas, Eliza and Lee, respectively! They have been turned into puppies!

The design is a bit boring, but it's really cute. I couldn't resist making one of my own.
My fursona, Ala (aka the preciousest boi ever.) If you've seen his design before you might know that this doesn't look much like him, but again it's my fault, it's my fursona.
Eliza in the style of that 16 personalities test thing, you answer a bunch'a questions and it tells you your personality. Turns out I'm an INFP-T, (I think.)

i randomly remembered the time i made u assign mx cutiemarks and it made me think. ok but IF they had ponysonas what would they look like.. what would the details be... and my brain just started coming up with stuff bc of course it did 😞 anyway i am dumping all of that on u. so for ch*ngkyun i have A Vision. i think he would be a bat pony and his name would be some shit like. idk. purple mic. HELP. i cant think of anything. he'd def have purple in his color scheme for sure. here's someone's batpony ponysona i found for reference.
i think j*oheon would be a changeling. or maybe like a pony/changeling hybrid if you want to be rlly wild about it. i think his name would be something like. honeybuzz WHICH is rlly generic but idk its cute :(((( the changelings i think are kind of visually uninteresting in canon BUT i like the bug aesthetic and i rlly wanted j*oheon to be bug themed, but the only other option would be the breezies which i just dont care about or like. i think with changelings there's a lot of room for reinterpretation in fanart, which is very fun to play with. here's an example i like. and another one that looks a bit more like how the changelings looked like before the s6 re design. both take a lot of creative liberties.
anyway i didnt think of anything for anyone else LOL but perhaps i will.
HELP, I can actually see the batpony ponysona fitting for ch*ngkyun. I think his name could be smth like......fallen dusk or smth (Idk what the pony name conventions are 😭😭), bc his mvs have v low lighting and ch*ngkyun likes to emanate an unreadable vibe. But also he's bright purple or smth bc inside he's also silly. I think the changeling fanart is cute and it suits j*oheon, I feel like his design could be v funky. Also I think one of the other members should have the weed pony design just bc I think it would be funny, but Idk who. Maybe hy*ngwon

I get SOOOOOO MUCH NOSTALGIA from 2020-1 Emery…..aghhhhhhhhhhhh…! for context, when I first made them they were 55 and looking back on all of this reminds me of how much they've changed.
The picture where they're calling out to someone named Azrael (A character who no longer exists) changed me fucking forever. it changed the way I saw Emery...moving forward it made me consider how they'd feel about the ethics of their job. that's all I really remembered about that until now. however, what's essential is that originally, emery doesn't even consider the ethical rammys of their job before it's pointed out to them by Az. in mindscape today, I hadn't even sorted that part out within myself.
currently, I have it down that Emery is too trusting in authority. i just pinpointed that like yesterday when I was thinking about what Emery does with their extra money. they probably donate it to their church, not even questioning whether that money goes to the right people. in the same way, i think emery blindly trusts the cec until it's pointed out to them by nol (character that replaced az). need to figure out how that happens though. and i need to make nol a ponysona...
also jesus they were so sassy. emery now is sassy but i need to bring it just a little more back. the sassiest thing emery says in the pilot script is "she's also repressed every emotion she's ever experienced" in response to Nkiru hyping Sylvia up to Simon. speaking of, they beef with nkiru like crazy. back when nkiru edochi was lilac ludenberg they were still beefing. their friendship with nkiru back then was cute...i wish they were still friends now

Uh oh, art dump!
I've been away far too long, I need to post some art that was completed in the meanwhile. So have a bunch of art.
This is Ærin, a human who ended up becoming a cyborg. I plan on writing them into a story as a secondary character of a Sci-Fi story idea I've been sitting on for literal years.
These are the ponysonas of my husband and myself (from left to right)! It was just a cute and quick drawing and my husband loved it.
This is Caloré Flare, a pyromancer, and Nathan, a skeletal horse! They're from the game World of Warcraft (avid fans would have noticed and asked me why I mentioned it) and this is my most favorite traditional drawing I have ever so far. Yes, They are both on the same level of ground. Nathan is very tall and Caloré is only 5'1".
Master Chief riding a great white shark that I have decided to name Sharkie. This was a wood burning project that my husband and I collaborated on together. I did the sketch, and my husband went over it and burned it into the wood. Sadly, I don't have a photo, but it turned out great! Obvioulsy, Master Chief is from the Halo game franchise. First console FPS I played and my favorite still. Hilariously enough, I don't play it anymore at this time.
A humanized version of my dog, Nula! After all, how else would an energetic Jack Russel mix look?
Loradel Darkflight, blood elf blood knight. I enjoy playing as him and there's a huge family dynamic with him and other characters I have. All of the blood elves I have are connected (except for one) in some way. Even the one void elf.
I have to put these side-by-side as it's a redraw! Ten years between these drawings! Both were drawn for my now husband! We had met in college back in 2010 and have occasionally messaged off and on until it became more regularly when we started dating in late 2019. One year into our two year engagement, I drew the redraw for him! I was quite pleased with the improvement! Funnily enough, I knew nothing of My Little Pony, then.
My ponysona in their earth pony disguise. Only after I finished the drawing did I realize that the mouth was a bit on the long side. Reminded me of the "horses with dog mouths" trend a while back. It's canon, now.
Not only is this cat a reminder that I really need to work on my proportions, but it's also a birthday gift to my little sister as a nod to her nickname from her deadname with the blooms of a sunflower as a nod to her new chosen name! She has this hanging up in her home in a frame. I am a bit bashful about it.
I mean, you see that arm, right???
Just a few sketches of my ponysona doing a couple of poses.
Keeping the pony trend going, we have Balanced Scales! An r63 and r59 (is that the AU internet rule?) of Phoenix Wright from the Ace Attorney franchise. I dove deep into that fandom a while back after looking around on YouTube for some MLP fanfics and saw the crossover there. It was some pretty good work, imo! So I just went, "What if there was a female pony version of Phoenix?" and it kinda spiraled from there... I made the whole cast in Pony Town.
Finu the Helpful! A skittermander biohacker! I played this menace in a Starfinder game with my friends. She's basically if Medic from TF2 had a small mascot character that learned medicine. She ate anything biodegradable and had no issues shooting her allies with needles as much as her foes. Her allies were indeed thankful that those were loaded with boosts and healing potions...
She also once ate a mushroom that was hacking into their ship's computer. That was fun.
HE IS THE SAND DRAGON! DRAGON OF THE SAND!
I mostly drew this while thinking of that time in the comic Looking For Group when the party encountered the Sand Dragons. Especially when Richard turned one of them into glass.
A book cover for my story Teamwork (found on AO3, Fanfiction.net, and FimFiction) that I had some fun with. On the cover, we have Breezefeather with the left half in her natural pegasus form and the right in her human disguise! Might make more art of that story at some point. We'll see...
Another story! Cover art of My Little Ninja (also on AO3, FanFiction.net, and FimFiction). I had a lot of fun with the background for this. I'm more than a little upset that the cover just doesn't want to be allowed for some reason on FimFiction... Is it the explosion? If so, wack...

I've had an original project burning in my head for some time now, and this is only a small taste of what's to come. So expect more from this project moving forward, but for now, meet Heartbeat the foxicorn (an obvious hybrid between fox and unicorn).
Heartbeat is fun-loving, rambunctious and optimistic, always on the hunt for the next big thrill and wanting to live life to the fullest. She's very open about her personality and interest, putting her chaotic mind on display and sharing her good vibes with those who can keep up. She hates taking things slow or compromising for less, as she always feels the need to go all the way. Heartbeat has a taste for the vibrant and flashy, and loves nothing more than to party the night away.

Despite her admirable confidence, her thrill-seeking personality leads her to many reckless decisions that affect her, and those around her. She's the embodiment of 'look before you leap', and hates thinking thigns through, believing that it ruins the fun. Heartbeat had spent much of her life feeling like she's been put in a box, and thus wants to make up for it by being as over-the-top as she can get. However this means that she gives little thought of the consequences of her actions, as she holds little interest in treating the consequences as her problem, and instead preferring to pass them on to someone else.

For Heartbeat's design, I took very heavy inspiration from her ponysona counterpart. I kept the same color scheme, and made her a unicorn hybrid to not only match her pony version, but also to give her design more personality and cuteness. I made a bit chubby to match my own body-shape, as I'm bit of a chubby gal irl, but I figured this would be great to not only better represent my true self, but also encourage a bit of body positivity (by the way, you fat-fetish folk out there better not get any ideas!). For her main causal outfit, I decided to go with a simple jersey look paired with a galaxy print shirt (which I'm a sucker for), and some slick short shorts.
And I should address this since people are gonna bring it up; yes, her second outfit is an obvious reference to Antonymph by Vylet Pony. I greatly value the message and meaning of that song, and has helped serve as inspiration for the project that this character will be a part of. So I decided I would draw Heartbeat with a Fluttgirshy look as homage to that song, and you'll probably see her strut it pretty often since I'm surprised how good it looks on her.

your agere journal can be whatever you make it, but i know that sometimes its hard to find good prompts! here are a few!
Basic Prompts:
Daily Diary- make your journal into a daily littol diary. write about your day and maybe draw a picture to go along with it!
About Me- write your name/nickname, your littol age range, and other fun things about yourself like your favorites! add a photo of yourself or draw one!
Rules- write your rules, self given or from your CG. so you remember them! rules should be consentual between Cg and baby, and ALWAYS SFW! if your CG gives you NFSW rules or you feel uncomfortable with any rules but they dont care, thats a red flag!
Routine- write your morning, night and daily routine in your journal if you have one and need to remember it! i have mine written down cause i struggle to follow it if i cant see it.
Comic Artist- write cute mini comics about whatever you want!!
Wishlist- make checklists of things youd really like for birthdays, holidays and other occassions! check them off as you get them!
Baby Food- find and write recipes you enjoy and are easy for a baby to make!
Playlists- make a list of all your favorite music, anime, movies and other media for easy access!
Stuffie Intros- make an intro page for some of your favorite stuffies!!
All About ____- pick a topic and research it! write what you learned in the journal!
Favorites- write down all of your favorites! your favorite color, food, character, youtuber, etc!
Homeward- your pet is lost! write a story describing their adventure!! draw them as well!
Lost & Found- if you like to collect goblincore things, keep an inventory of them all!
Drawing Prompts:
Create your dream nursery/playroom! draw a basic layout and write down any furniture and decor you want! what theme does it have?
Draw your favorite scenery! make a forest, mountains, the ocean or the clouds!! add animals and plants and yourself if you want!
Make a Self Portrait!
make your own constellation! maybe write a story to go along with it!
create your own mythical creature! maybe its an undiscovered one? or just your favorite one, like dragons or unicorns! what color is it?
Draw a treasure map! maybe hide a time capsule at the location!! if its fictional, whats it for?? are you a pirate? is it a fantasy map for a party of warriors??
Draw your dream outfit(s). maybe draw you in them! .0.
Create your own Planet!! whats its name? are there people or animals? what kind? are there unique plants?? draw yourself as an astronaut exploring this planet!

HEY GUYS IANAA-MOD HERE! Confirming that I am NOT dead, and I HAVE been working on some stuff! Mostly catching up on my Patreon.
