As F1, F2 and F3 descended on Circuit de Catalunya, last weekend, more single seater action continued across Europe as Nurburgring played host to 3 ADAC F4 races, whilst BRDC British F3 hit Donington Park for 3 races. - ADAC F4 - RACE 1 WINNER: Gabriele Mini, RACE 2 WINNER: Jonny Edgar, RACE 3 WINNER: Joshua Dürksen - The first race of the weekend was won by series debutant Gabriele Mini, who has already won a race in Italian F4 this year. The podium was completed by Red Bull junior Jonny Edgar and Elias Seppänen. - In Race 2, the podium finishers remained the same but the order was switched around as Edgar returned to winning ways. Seppänen took P2, whilst Mini finished in P3. - In Race 3, Joshua Dürksen took his first ever victory in the category. Jak Crawford, another Red Bull junior, came home in P2 whilst Mini took P3 to ensure he finished on the podium in every race. Edgar leads the standings, 20 points clear of Seppänen. - BRDC BRITISH F3 - RACE 1 WINNER: Louis Foster, RACE 2 WINNER: Ulysse de Pauw, RACE 3 WINNER: Kaylen Frederick - As with ADAC F4, the 3 BRDC British F3 races from last weekend provided us with 3 different winners. Louis Foster topped the pack in Race 1, ahead of Reece Ushijima and Kush Maini. - Ulysse de Pauw took his maiden series victory in Race 2, whilst Kaylen Frederick came home in 2nd place. The podium was completed by Oliver Clarke. - Championship leader Frederick returned to the top of the pile, as he won the final race of the weekend. Josh Skelton took a strong P2, whilst Maini appeared on the podium for the second time that weekend, by finishing in P3. Here's a quick round-up of the categories that raced last weekend, which I haven't had time to cover (driver standings in the images). - FORMULA REGIONAL JAPAN: A brand-new series. Sena Sakaguchi absolutely dominated the opening weekend, at Fuji, winning all 3 races in emphatic fashion. Other names to watch include F3 veteran Yu Kanamaru and karting graduate Yuga Furutani. - FORMULA REGIONAL AMERICAS: Linus Lundqvist won all 3 races, last weekend at Barber Motorsports Park. The 2018 BRDC British F3 champion has now won the first 9 races of the season. David Malukas again looked strong, but Lundqvist is on another level to everybody else in the field. - BRDC BRITISH F3: 18 year-old Kaylen Frederick took 2 victories from the first 4 races, at Oulton Park, to lead the standings. Kush Maini took 2 podiums, whilst Kiern Jewiss won the first race and will be a title contender. - BRITISH F4: Zak O'Sullivan won Race 2 and leads the way, after the opening round at Donnington. Luke Browning and James Hadley, winner of Race 3, both look strong whilst Abbi Pulling will look to build on taking P6 in Race 2. Alex Connor won Race 1. - ADAC F4: Red Bull junior Jonny Edgar won the first 2 races, at Lausitz, with Elias Seppänen also winning a race. 15 year-old Jak Crawford, another Red Bull junior, took P2 in just his second single-seater race. - ITALIAN F4: At Misano, 15 year-old Francesco Pizzi impressed everybody took the lead in the standings after scoring a victory and two further podiums. Gabriele Mini won his first ever single-seater race. Ferrari junior Dino Beganovic took a podium. - US F4: Hunter Yeany took 2 wins from 4 races, at Barber Motorsport Park, to continue his title charge.
