not that it's a bad thing, but you can really tell what ideas sui ishida REALLY loves to explore because a lot of choujin x themes and tropes are just tokyo ghoul redux (again, not a bad thing)

zora is tokio's rize, from the "inject their inhuman nature to the human boy" down to the "passing down one's fate to this pathetic little child"

the main cjx trio is funny because like. you got tokio, the protagonist with no sense of self but is always being cast into the hero trope. azuma who has a hero complex but the narrative firmly does not want him to be the hero and he's lowkey mad about it. and ely who is designated main girl and not the the protagonist but she is the most heroic person in the whole story with probably the only stable sense of self

no way they gave the character with a hero complex a knight choujin and the character who pilfers off of other characters' motivations a vulture choujin....... the themes are theming here

I think in the training arc he can already transform the cloth to only cover his mouth. so I would love to see this kind of thing happen with azuma, especially since his idea of justice is tenuous when combined with his desire for power

okay I'm caught up. now that I know the world of choujin x I gotta say........ azuma saying that tokio's choujin is fitting and something he really wants to embody (non-verbatim) really says a lot about how he views tokio huh. and I mean, he's probably not wrong but WHEW man these two.....

I only have the vaguest idea of what this game is about. you play as the only girl in an all boys' performance school. visual novel with rhythm game elements, possibly otome? all I know is sui ishida produced the game and like. I'm just curious what a happy story looks like from him lmao (well. I assume it's a happy story anyway)
