It was a lazy day. Spring had finally decided to stay: the sun was out, the wind was nice, and the grass was growing. After the ball that had been held in Spades, Cody had decided to spend a bit of time in the area before moving on. 

Today, he had decided to spend his time outside in the markets. He had found a spot atop one of the many market place tents to sit for the day. He liked having a spot high up. It allowed him to watch the people pass by with more of a bird's-eye-view. He had, of course, 'borrowed' some food for lunch that day. It was only a couple of apples, but it was enough.

And that was how the day began. The thief sitting and eating an apple, while his koala companion rested against his leg dozing.
