Dirty Blue Exclusive, a new yet familiar mix. Made with handground Lazurite pigment (quality slightly better than Lapis Baikal) and the finest Limonite pigment. Keeping it a mixture of PB29 and PY43 but it’s proportions in the mix as well as it’s characteristics as a paint are very unique. These precious versions of the pigments used in my Signature mix, give a strong granulating effect. But whereas synthetic PB29 is strong in tinting strength, natural PB29 can’t win from Limonite with the same proportions as the original recipe. This higher level of Lapis Lazuli pigment makes it a more expensive paint, but with a fantastic rough and natural feel too it. I developed this exclusive mix to help me reach the Spectrometer goal, all the profits of the paint will be reduced from the final goal.
