Lilé’s eyes smouldered like scorched embers as Luciano’s demeanour shifted… and then the fire vanished, replaced by a playful innocence as she lay in bed.
Oh, he wanted to play? Who was she to refuse such a command? It would be terribly bad manners!
“I don’t know what you mean, Daddy,” Lilé replied, with those wide blue eyes she knew Luciano found highly amusing. “What problem? I’ve been in bed all this time. How could I have caused a problem from here?”

“It should be a crime for you to look that good in a suit this early in the morning.”
The Ancient couldn't help but chuckle in front of the mirror as he adjusted his cufflinks, shaking his head, "Isn't this technically your own doing, amore? You did buy me this suit."

“My wife” | sent by @arsenicflavouredtea (from Send “My Wife/Husband/Spouse--” for my Muse’s reaction to overhearing yours referring to them as such for the first time (pre-marriage).)
They weren’t married - yet. But that did not matter. As far as she was concerned, they were two souls bound together regardless of legality or ceremony. Yet when Lilé overheard Luciano casually refer to her as his wife, her heart skipped with surprised joy.
As the party continued, that thought remained in her mind - and later, when it was just the two of them preparing for bed, she could not help but smile wistfully in her dressing room mirror, fingers unpinning her curls.
“I’ve never heard you call me ‘wife’ before,” she remarked tenderly, placing pins on a little glass dish. “It felt… it felt right.” Her eyes were warm, pleased. To know the depth of his love for her was such that Luciano considered them informally bound… it was a dizzying feeling. They had been together for what felt like blissful eternity, and Lilé loved him as fiercely and deeply as she had in the early days of their courtship.
As if approving too, the babe inside her kicked, earning a slight wince and a gentle touch of her belly.
“It seems even this little one likes it,” she laughed quietly, stroking the swell of her stomach soothingly. “And they certainly have your strength, if these kicks are anything to go by.”

She’d intended on showering, but Luciano had pushed that intention aside entirely when Lilé had got out of bed and noticed just how interested in her he was. A smirk, a cry of laughter, and suddenly her naked back was up against the bedroom wall as he pounded into her without a word.
She always felt so wonderfully tiny and protected whenever he fucked her like this. That, and she was in no mind to be quiet, gasping and moaning his name, her Daddy, her Luciano. Begging him not to stop. Her arms looped loosely around his neck, anchoring herself, though Lilé knew he’d never drop her in a million years; he was far too agile for that.
Agile, and rough this morning. This coupling was raw need, and who was she to deny her beloved his desires when she also shared them?
His princess closed her eyes as pleasure thrummed through her, biting her lip, trembling. It was as if meeting his gaze was too much, as though locking eyes would send her over the edge. And she wasn’t ready for him to finish, for either of them to climax. She wanted to stay like this forever, a mess of need, used and adored by the love of her life.

Lilé had been fast asleep in Luciano’s arms when the dream hit.
Her uncle’s voice rang in her head, taut with warning, and she realised she was looking from his perspective as he spoke, standing in his private study.
Stay with Luciano. Do not leave the house. They are coming for you. Stay. There.
Lilé woke with a start, wide awake and sitting bolt upright. Danger rang in her brain over and over - because Deorsa had never, ever contacted her through dreams.
Oh, fuck.
Her phone buzzed; she picked it up immediately, and as she listened to the urgent voice on the other end - her former guard, Aidan - her face drained of colour. She looked at Luciano, and as she hung up, her voice was strained.
“There was an attempted coup. Certain nobles didn’t like that their only heir was carrying a sanguisage’s child.” She flexed her fingers, anger creeping onto her face. “My uncle is fine, but those bastards sent people to ‘collect’ me. I don’t know how long we have. My living situation is not exactly a secret.”
She lifted her hand, testing and checking the wards she had laid over their home, her shadows rearing up and swirling around the room. Still intact. Her other hand dropped her phone on the bed to cup the swell of her belly. She was only just six months gone. Still able to move and defend herself.
Good.

It was an event Lilé would never - could never - have predicted. She had always known she would likely die at the hands of enemies; it was a constant threat. But now… oh, now. This was new, frightening.
The woman awoke with a terrible, painful hunger in her belly, and she flinched, startled as the world seemed… off. The sounds, the colours, her senses… they all felt heightened. As though she was, well, high. Lilé groaned - and then the memories came flooding back, so sudden that she gasped and balled her fists.
Luciano. He had… he… oh, fuck…
Trying not to panic at the revelation, she tried to look for him, to seek comfort, only for it to dawn on her that her beloved was lying right beside her.
“I… you… you sired me.” Her voice was an astonished rasp, as though her vocal cords had been unused for a long while. “It wasn’t a dream, was it?”
She glanced down to see the bandages wrapped around her naked middle, and the memory of the violent attack swarmed her mind, so much so she trembled. An urge to touch her teeth surfaced, but she pushed it away. Luciano had done it to save her life, that much was obvious.
“How long have I been asleep for?”

Send me ಠ_ಠ to know an inappropriate thought my muse has had about yours.
Gods, I want him to bend me over something and fill me to the brim over and over. I want him to scold me for wasting even a drop of his seed. I want to be utterly his in every way. He looks like a man who would enjoy being called ‘Daddy’.

“Oh, you always can, mo ghrá,” she smiled, rolling her hips just so, tilting her head so he could indulge if he liked. “You know me well enough for that.”
Lilé’s shadows milled around and whispered desire, and she bit her lip. Luciano was her safe harbour, her beloved - and in all probability, her soul mate. In truth she had not considered the latter to exist before now. But oh, he felt like home. He set her heart skidding every time she looked at him. And she missed him fiercely whenever their duties took them away from each other.
Delicately she undid his trousers, fingers seeking the prize within - and what a prize it was.
“How long until your duties take you onwards?” she asked. They were both healers, they both had people and beings to save and mend. But she treasured the moments they could just be. When their paths crossed and they could set aside their calling, even if only for a night.

“You’re enjoying the fact he’s scared of you, aren’t you?” Lilé accused playfully as she paused in her gardening to take a sip of water. “You like seeing Valerian unsettled.” // I had to :))
"Is it wrong of me to find joy in the simple things?" Luciano inquired with a wry smirk, continuing to trim leaves off of the budding flowers. "The thorn that he and his ilk are so constantly in my side makes for every bit of his torture well overdue, if you ask me." The Ancient sat back and smiled warmly at her, "You cannot convince me that it doesn't amuse you as well."

She thought he was joking at first. But Luciano would not fake cry like this, or attempt such a cruel prank. No, he was telling the truth. He had to be.
Lilé’s eyes widened, and her hand immediately slid to her belly. A second later, and her magic confirmed it. She was pregnant.
“I’m… I’m carrying our baby?” she whispered, hardly daring to hope. She had not thought it possible, not biologically. Yet here she was, with child. His child.
Tears welled in her own eyes, for now she understood why he was crying. The emotions overwhelmed her, and she choked out a startled laugh, shaking.
Luciano could not help but laugh through his own tears with her, but at her words, he reach out to lift up her chin and look her in the eyes, then cupping her cheek to brush away her tears. "Babies, amore. It's two." He corrected her gently with a widening smile, leaning in to kiss her lips several times.
There weren't words that could possibly encapsulate the emotions surging through his body to know that Lilé was bearing his children. It was not something they had planned, certainly, but he was over the moon that it had occurred.

Heading into the bedroom to grab his laptop, Luciano was caught off guard seeing his beloved wife completely bare, his gaze lingering quite obviously as he slowly sunk back to close the door behind him.
Raising a brow, his tongue rolled over his bottom lip to wet it before he chuckled beneath his breath, "Presenting already, princess?"

It was a pampering sort of evening. She had run them both a large bath full of bubbles and botanicals, and as she climbed into the sizeable tub, Lilé settled back against Luciano’s bare chest.
“Mmm,” she hummed, smiling lazily and closing her eyes. “I think we both needed this tonight.”
Taking his hand, she kissed his palm, and then his thumb.
Sank in the hot, herbally scented water, Luciano was blissfully relaxing back with his eyes shut and his arms resting on the edge of the tub, enjoying the aromatherapy while his muscles released their hold on his old bones.
With a soft hum, he reopened his eyes when he felt his wife's body weight lay atop of him like a pressure blanket, ever so soothing.
"I couldn't agree more." He cooed to her, leaning forward to hook an arm around her waist as he buried his face in her neck, kissing delicately against her dewy skin. "You spoil me."

“Luciano, amour, you can’t kill him. There’s no point. He’s not worth your time.” //because I HAD to 🤣
"At the very least, I could drain him for blood storage. Certainly, it would make a mess, but it would put him to better use than he currently is." Luciano protested, folding his arms across his chest. "Simply letting him go without making an example would leave other pests to get ideas."
