Laxus slowed down as he saw the castle towers nearing. He wasn't given time to wonder where to park, as the gates already opened and a servant pointed him the way. The helpful man tried to shield Laxus from the rain to the entrance of the castle, but failed to lift the umbrella above his stature.
''It's okay, I'm soaked anyway,'' he laughed sheepishly, ''just lead me to the highest point of the castle.''
''Of course sir,'' the servant nodded and Laxus followed him through the outrageously luxurious rooms. His neck started to hurt from looking up to the ceilings and chandeliers.
Never in his life had he seen such luxury before. All the gold and crystal around him made him feel puny and non-relevant. He could probably work his entire life and not even afford a single item in the castle.
''Laxus!''
A lean lady in a floaty nightgown came flying down the stairs, almost tripping in her haste. She grabbed onto the balcony to regain her balance.
''Lady Hisui!'' the butler let out and leaped forward to offer her a hand.
''It's okay, Archibald,'' she reassured him with a laugh. She looked over his shoulder to let her eyes meet Laxus'.
''Good evening,'' she said with the brightest smile, ''I'm so glad we meet again.''
