the only reason he doesn't use the lunch break for eating is because it "saves time" to deal with both lunch and dinner at once, aka absolutely clearing off three times the amount of whatever hizashi gets them both for dinner.

nemuri sees the shit ton of empty takeout boxes on the teachers dorm dining table one night and goes "u invited the kids over for dinner???" and aizawa shoots her a weird look from the couch where he's getting ready to take a nap and wake up in time for all that energy to go into patrol, replies "no?????" nem just. points at the trash. aizawa says "oh yeah. yours is in the fridge. i finished off the rest." nemuri stares at him and back at the pile. this man just ate like quarter his weight in spicy ramen.

villain!mic, with hero!eraser being his rival (long-suffering victim.) they have history.

the both of them having long familiarised with the way the other fights from all those long sessions sparring during their ua period, makes for evenly matched rooftop fights, alleyway brawls. mic always finds himself grinning--out of actual amusement rather than to mock--when he dodges another blow and gets eraser genuinely frustrated.

cliche as it is, they fight like a well-rehearsed dance. every underhanded attack is parried with another just as dirty, mic kicking up debris into eraser's eyes, eraser retaliating by just. biting mic. (eraser eyes the healing wound the next time they meet and mic darts backwards, yowling about rabies.)

thing is, they don't really like each other. sure, eraser actively seeks out mic after a long day to just wrestle until one of them inevitably starts to try to have that long avoided Talk™️, (ew, communication and emotions,) and sure, mic screams love songs across entire neighbourhoods just to get a valiantly-ignoring-him eraser to get over there and shut him up with a single look. literally. but they don't like each other.

some days, eraser stands over mic, a predatory glint in dark eyes and knife in his hands and a hard, hateful snarl on his face. mic, breathless and at eraser's mercy, would wonder, for a moment, if eraser would actually kill him. drive the knife through his heart like they never meant anything to each other. wonders if he caused that heartbroken expression breaking over eraser's face. then the moment passes, mic kicks eraser off, and they're back to normal.

some days, mic feels nothing but spite and anger towards eraser. eraser never was one to mince words, and his careless cruelty was something mic was accustomed to. should be accustomed to. but when eraser parries and shoots a mild, "remember oboro? the first one you killed?" mic blows his eardrums out.

somehow, the sight of eraser with his head tugged upwards by mic's hand in his hair and staring at mic dead in the eyes, quirk activated, like he actually thinks mic would murder him, too, does not make him feel better.

mic only whispers a soft "you believe that?" and laughs, harsh, knowing that eraser cannot hear him, what with his bleeding from the ears and all.

tension, misunderstandings, miscommunications, tension, toxicity, murder, lovers to enemies, did i mention tension?

the pain and suffering that is not having anyone to talk to about the tragedy that is erasermic. and also not having a beta reader. and also not having anyone to infodump about my fics. what am i supposed to do? write my fics and not unfold the entire plot to an audience? and then lose interest in the fics after getting my brainrot out and done with? like a normal and productive person? thats insane. ur insane

nap afterglow is crazy because why am i suddenly not quite there. not in the negative way, in the fuzzy way you get something warm to eat (soup) after truly banger sleep and everything feels so much more tolerable. nice, even. it feels like nostalgia, but it's obviously not because you are currently in that moment. it's that distinct feeling of being somewhere between consciousness and blessedly unaware and also that sort of pleasant blurriness you only get after taking a long ass nap that makes you feel more well rested than you have in three weeks and also you know you're ready to wake up now that you've finally caught up on all those lost zs but your body isn't quite convinced yet so you just kinda drift for a while and eat some soup and feel like you're living in a memory.

thinking about aizawa's quirk. theories about his quirk are all so good because there always was a possibility that erasure could've been in the hands of afo and garaki and that it could've very well also been modified into something more... deadly. if erasure targets the quirk gene and shuts it off, whos to say it couldn't be changed to kill people with one look? if erasure was a mental-based quirk that switches off people's control over their quirk, what else could it switch off? free will? self preservation?

me consuming angsty, tear jerking, heart wrenching, absolutely devastating life trajectory changing dangles you over whitewater and forces you to watch your loved ones plummet and drown before you, feels like the creator is going through a Really hard patch in their life rn fan content: straight faced. no reaction.
