i am at that point in the royals-only!insane rev run where the Fun starts, aka scarlet is. well.
and ironically i think it's easy to forget that anankos/(gunter) aims first at corrin with the fireball, wounding her -
(this shot)-
-and then again a second time, before scarlet throws herself in between.
like.....
okay, one - corrin's probably got at minimum some burn wounds. what the fuck does he feel about that. he appears immediately next to her after, he definitely sees them.
two - he almost succeeded in straight up killing her. what. the fuck does gunter feel about that (regardless if they're a pair or not). he's gotta know about it. jury's out on whether he's "in control" at the exact moment (considering base gunter has 0 magical ability, so anankos is influencing to some degree there).
here's the thing to the last part: a later possession scene shows that he's still got the ability to talk "as" himself and throw fireballs so fates doesn't even let us have the easy way out of weakly saying "eh anankos was fully in the driver's seat" and pinning the blame on anankos.
ahaha no that was at least some bit of gunter that willfully aimed two killing shots at corrin.
god i love rev for a possession story that goes so fucking hard.

Something that i think is goofy is that orbulon has been on earth for ~1000 years but he still has trouble with english/japanese/choose your language. He's at a massive disadvantage physiologically (you try speaking octopus language) but even thoguh hes dumb he's also superintelligent so you'd think he'd get the hang of it by now, IF he was studying the whole 1000 years. You might be tempted to chalk it up to him being lazy except that you can't because orbulon has been shown to be very diligent with his language studies despite struggling a little with them. So you can reasonably assume that orbulon only started learning human languages when he started being freinds with wario and crew
This is very touching but it also implies that for almost one thousand years people throughout human history have had a non zero chance of running into orbulon not saying anything and standing like this🧍♂️

Cannot believe that in 5 years I didn't notice that my back and shoulder and rib pain is the same as my hand pain 😭 I realised last week when all of a sudden it all passed at once. I've been torturing myself trying to improve my posture about it for years, and its the fucking Weather causing it.
Something to tell my doctor next week when I finally see her Five Weeks after scheduling the appointment (3 is normal here. 5 is ??????)

Quick fun fact I learned in ASL class:
Babies can begin signing as early as a few months old. You don’t have to wait until they’re 9-12 months to start communicating verbally; the parts of the brain that process and use language develop before a baby is able to speak intelligibly with their mouth. Teaching your kid sign language early means that they can communicate effectively months ahead of schedule, when compared to peers that only speak a spoken language.
Additional fun fact: this jumpstart in language is thought to be a possible way to avoid the “Terrible Twos”; that phase of a toddler’s life is thought to be largely due to a toddler being unable to effectively communicate their needs. If a two year old has already been speaking for a year and a half, they’re far more able to communicate to you what’s wrong. Heck, they might also start reading earlier; languages with a fingerspelling component, like ASL, mean that any speaker needs to be able to spell unfamiliar words and ask about them. This can jumpstart a toddler’s ability to recognize letters as components of a word, and teach them to spell, read, and eventually write these letters to communicate.
Which, of course, lends absolutely zero credence to the theory that ASL will inherently stunt someone’s spoken language skills. If anything, sign language fluency makes acquiring any language, spoken or not, easier rather than harder.

Prince’s liberal quotation from Hitler lets the viewer know this may not be a good idea. Wendy, Axelrod’s associate Wags (David Costabile), and his sometime employee-adversary Taylor (Asia Kate Dillon) realise there is only one man with the mental equipment to stop him.
