the idea that restrooms, locker rooms, etc need to be single-sex spaces in order for women to be safe is patriarchy's way of signalling to men & boys that society doesn't expect them to behave themselves around women. it is directly antifeminist. it would be antifeminist even if trans people did not exist. a feminist society would demand that women should be safe in all spaces even when there are men there.

my work told me to punch out on march 6th, then told me i'm a crybaby for not being able to perform a process which wasn’t in my original job description, they hadn't taught me, didn't offer to teach me, and which causes me extreme anxiety.

then when i sent them an email to very calmly explain why i was upset about this, they told me they would get back to me at the beginning of the next week, then didn't contact me at all until i sent them an email, then finally sent me an email the next thursday basically listing every time i've struggled with something in my four years at this job, including a time when i told my supervisor i was struggling to concentrate the month after i had a cervical fusion, in 2022.

then a week later they told me actually they did have work for me, and i could come back to work whenever i wanted, and then graciously allowed me to work for not even a full pay period before this morning telling me i had to punch out again, and they won’t be getting back to me until at least next thursday.

so now i’ve worked 2 weeks out of the last month and a half, which means they can cancel my health insurance whenever they feel like it, cutting off my access to both my therapist And my psychiatrist.

so. things are great and i don’t feel exhausted and pathetic all the time and the job industry is a very cool fun place where people will absolutely hire me despite every entry level position requiring a BA and five years of experience. these things are true because if they aren’t i will have a mental breakdown. again.
