You know that old question of why did LBD change Wukong's outfit? I think I have found the answer, and it's thanks to Azure Lion.

(Pink) Both Azure's outfit and Possessed Wukong's have very similar styles, from the way the side hip flaps feed into the top, to how the armour sits on their shoulder and chests. There are some differences but the overall style is way to similar to not be inspired by one another.

(Red) Even Post Possessed Wukong's outfit has similar mix of gold and white.

I know the side hip flaps are initially red but in a later scene (Blue) they become white. So not 100% sure what's going on there but it does make PP Wukong's outfit look even more like Azure's.

Now In this screen shot of Azure, he is still a Celestial warrior. Erlang's "Champion" if you will. (I'll have to wait till the english version of the episode to come out before I can confirm that's what he's called.) That outfit could easily be a status symbol for what Celestial Champion's wear.

So when Wukong get's possessed, LBD starts calling Wukong her "Champion." She then changes his outfit to a "Celestial Champion's" but with her colouring. I think this was Lady Bone Demon's way of showing off (and rubbing it in) that Wukong was now her Champion.

(I now want to look over celestial guard/warrior outfits and see if Macaque's outfit mimics those as well.)

LMK: Who's the real threat? I have this idea of Azure questioning me in wary manner about if I'm a threat but I give them the uno reverse question to them that if THEY are the threat of me. That caught them off guard because they know the meaning of my question; if they make a wrong move on me, I'll be the one who give them the headache to beat me.

wanna know what made me mad about the final battle in the s4 special

is how like the lmk gang so easily defeated the lion camel ridge trio when it shown last time how they easily kicked their ass (don’t say how MK managed to punch azure multiple times in the celestial realm he caught azure off gaurd )

And I know they had a training montage but one there is like THREE of azure peng and yellowtusk wukong was the only one who was training macaque and nezha were just chilling like they were fucking playing chess

not to mention AZURE IS THE NEW JADE EMPEROR MAKING HIM EXTREMELY POWERFUL NOT TO MENTION wukong in the show WAS DEFEATED BY THE JADE EMPEROR

ALSO THE FACT PENGS THE SWORN UNCLE AND BODYGAURD OF THE BUDDHA

THERE IS ALSO YELLOWTUSK ALSO BEING A BODYGAURD (I know he is a steed in the OG book but this is lmk were it showed them being deities and shit) of bodhisattva Samantabhadra!

SAME GOES TO AZURE he was the bodygaurd of bodhisattva Manjusri

MEANING these guys are really powerful

ALSO in the book azure had tried to overthrown the jade emperor guards tried to stop him he goes to his huge form (yes he could always do that-) AND GOBBLE THEM UP LIKE THEY WERE SNACKS JUST SLURPED THEM UP LIKE NOODLES

and don’t give me the “well azure was trying to hold the world together he was probably weaker-“ MY FRIEND HE STILL KICKED ASS DURING THE FINAL BATTLE it just MK did some corny you made me mad so I’m gonna go super saiyain mood and kick your ass for eye candy and to move the plot to a different direction

azure had also the scrolls! (Cause I know for sure he didn’t have lost all of them AND CANT TELL ME he didn’t go to the underworld himself to collect more just in case! Keep in mind he is the ruler of the three realms now he can have anything his heart desired!)

I know I maybe repeat some info over and over I’m just baffled cause I have a list of reason and there is logic of why azure peng and yellowtusk should have won!

the show and creators (COUGH COUGH AND THE FANS COUGH COUGH) did the lion camel ridge trio so dirty they had so much potential and I hate it cause they are my favorite

Loyalty (Possessive Azure x Wukong)

TW: Toxic Mindset, Toxic Relationship, and Jealousy.

A/N: Just Azure being an loyal boy

Hearing the faint calling of his name, down the caves, the demonic lion quickly fetched the basket filled with fresh peaches, and ran inside the place.

It didn't take him moments, No, Just a few mere seconds to even arrive to the supposive location.

Azure, happily did any bidding for the upcoming ruler of the Jade Palace, or the new ruler if their plan ever succeeded.

If he was bold enough, Maybe he could even call himself the right hand man, of his Monkie king— even more loyal than Macaque, as that monkey would constantly question his liege's actions but not him though! Azure wouldn't dare to talk behind Wukong.

"Azure, bud! What took ya so long?" The voice of his beloved king spoke so lazily and effortlessly but no one could blame his attitude.

Clearly he was just tired of always training and trying to take over the Jade Palace was no joke.

The lion did take a few good moments, to pick up the best peaches, but he tried to find perfect ripe ones, and no dents, not even sour ones.

"Sorry Wukong. I'll be faster next time."

For him, It would be mere treason to even hesitant for just a millisecond, to the orders, given to him by Wukong. If the royal highness, desired him to do a task, It would be done in a few simple strokes, no commotion, no retorts; Just a nod, to get the job finished.

His loyalty to him knows no bounds.

Handing over the peach, the white-furred lion happily watches the Monkie King eating it, the juices from the peach dripping down his chin. Oh, how Azure was intently eyeing it.

"Is there anything else you wish of me?" Rubbing his paws on the demon's shoulder, gave him a message but was just a facade to feel Wukong's ginger-hued fur, so soft and try to satisfy wanting to touch every nook and cranny of his beloved.

"Mhm, Not at the moment. I and Macaque will head somewhere though"

Azure, refrained from almost clawing Wukong, and stopped himself from sinking his claws deep inside the Monkey King— He had no right to hurt him, but the thought of someone else having Wukong's attention, really irked him.

How he longed to pull Wukong away and stare intently into his eyes, his claws deep within him and wanting to demand or beg his king to stay with him instead.

He doesn't even need to take over the Jade Emperor, they could just stay in a place somewhere, only the two of them, with Azure always on his knees, groveling at Wukong's every beck and call.

Instead, all he could have said was

"That's nice. Just enjoy your trip with him."

His voice was a nice per say, but someone with heightened hearing would sense, his words were dripping with disdain as if seeing his highness was a mere hindrance now.

Those were decades ago, there interaction was deeply missed by Azure. He oftened pondered to himself day after day, what would have happened if he actually chose to take Wukong, right there and then.

He wouldn't be happy, that would be obvious from the start but it was better dealing with a non cooperative Wukong than, not having him at all.

How he yearns, to touch his fur and whisper sweet nothings into his ear.

Now, his beloved majesty was chained underneath into mountain, for hundreds of years to even come.

The demonic lion, stared longingly at the mountain, always figuring out ways to destroy or atleast try to release his Majesty.

He knows Wukong is underneath there somewhere, but he just couldn't visit or be able to see him.

'Even if the heavens above cast you, I will always live to serve you.'

Therefore, he waited and waited, even if it took an eternity.

I headcanon that it wasn’t death that made Macaque a scheming savage and a dirty player, he was always like that. But back in the days of the Brotherhood he was more shy and timid, which, combined with adoration of Wukong and (at the time) small figure, made him look rather harmless and sometimes naive.

But, sometimes, his true nature did shine through
