Apparently the people who missed the card are now getting confronted with MtG's Aragorn art, with the expected results. I'm just sad we can't see the grey eyes (but they definitely got the "shaggy dark hair, flecked with grey" down).

I've wanted Aragorn's canonically greying hair for ages and there it is + an incredible character design.

It's certainly, hmm, noticeable that a certain strain of Tolkien fandom's pretenses to fidelity when it comes to character descriptions are largely limited to skin color and they're cool with endless variations on inaccurate pop culture Aragorn as long as he's pale. This Aragorn looks spectacular :D
