it's 2023 and i'm still bitter about how kuroshitsuji, a complex slow burn mystery manga, got absolutely massacred by its shitty semi-episodic shota/fujobait anime adaptation
#like yeah the manga could be a bit questionable in the earlier parts (cough corset scene cough comedic relief grelle + soma & agni cough)#but almost all of that got retconned once yana toboso was allowed to have more creative freedom over her work#(and her editor's interference is something we Know had a p drastic effect on the series bc it Literally Gave Us Grelle (toboso wanted to#have a female jack the ripper but her editor said that if she did then she would've had to be working w a man. so in response toboso#decided that madam red's partner in crime would be as effeminate as possible so grelle was created in the vein of buffalo bill and then#only in her next appearance a few arcs later when the book of murder arc was over and done with was she acknowledged to be a trans woman#not the best situation for girlie overall but the manga started treating her much better over time + she slayed)#but the anime was on a whole different level s1 Literally ended while teasing a kiss between a grown adult and a 12 year old#and then s2 just made up random bullshit including a brand new 14 year old to ship bait w adults#and it doesn't help that whenever the series comes up everyone in the surrounding area becomes 50x more susceptible to false info#(see: undertaker's real name being shared around on an image that's literally watermarked by a TUMBLR HEADCANONS BLOG)#so there's a p decent subset of ppl who believe it was originally meant to be a yaoi (rumor that began from the same hc blog)#or that yana toboso is a shotacon (pr.osh.ippers on twt made that one up to try and win arguments)#i want the series to get the fmab treatment w a shiny new anime made by some1 other than a-1 pictures#bc we've seen what happens when they try and adapt the arcs that came out after they committed to the random bullshit plots of s1-2#in the form of the book of murder circus & atlantic ovas. which are excessively plain and just streamlined disconnected and heartless#renditions of the manga arcs which will make no sense to anyone who hasn't already read it. they're like ufotable's fate route ova but at#least that has higher production values and is somewhat visually interesting#romeo.txt

☽ SUPERNOVA, 40
Tumblr media
“From the ashes, a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring…” — J.R.R. Tolkien
Real Name: Assana Sylvain (tends to go by “As”)
Agency: 𝑅 𝐼 𝒮 𝐸
FC: Natalie Portman
Unicorn Name: MK II [+]
Place of Birth: Eleutheria, capital city of Sky World’s main moon, Candour
Appearance: A little bit earth pixie and little bit tired mom. Petite stature (5′2″), dark eyes, dark hair, iconic beauty mark on her right cheek, and radiant skin (except maybe those dark circles under her eyes), it’s amazing she hasn’t aged much since her heyday. At least As thinks so -  𝑅 𝐼 𝒮 𝐸  “politely” disagrees. Assana was given an ultimatum to either undergo micro cosmetic surgeries or wear a holo-collar to project a slightly less tired version of herself onto her own face in order to maintain her popularity and compete visually with the younger racers. Caught, as she always seems to find herself, between a rock and a hard place, she choose the holo-collar. When racing, the image projected onto her face is her own face from the end of her career (which coincidentally is messing with her head a bit).
Wardrobe: Honestly, before her comeback she wore whatever was most comfortable. Her public image under 𝑅 𝐼 𝒮 𝐸  is quite polished, graceful, and somewhat demure but fashionable (almost like a Sky World Audrey Hepburn or Grace Kelly). Her makeup tends to be on the “natural” side of things, but she gets a gold treatment sometimes on her hair and skin to highlight her “divinity” as Supernova. Her gowns flow and sometimes seem to float around her constantly (thanks to pinpointed anti-gravity tech). Occasionally you’ll see her wearing a golden circlet on her head. Her hair, which has been cut pixie short for many years now, is almost exclusively covered by a wig these days.
Having lived on a private estate on the moon of Elysis (picture a Lake Como-esque area) where she kept robot horses and played with her children most of the time, she tends to prefer natural materials and things she can move easily in. She prefers darker colours, finding they suit her better, but as an icon of Sky World, she is forced into pastels and florals. Being older now, she finds the racing costumes a little irksome and tiring.
There’s also the holo-collar she has to wear now in public and holo-visor during races. It appears as a laurel wreath style necklace that wraps around her neck but just slightly parted in the front (the ends of the “wreath” contain the projection cameras to flow the image upward from her neck ... something As finds a little insulting as she’s fairly certain there’s no wrinkles on her anywhere).
Places most likely to be found: Her apartment. It’s lonely, but she’d rather be there than pretending to be enjoying herself at photo ops and the Unicorn City clubs for promotions. She can also be found at the 𝑅 𝐼 𝒮 𝐸  training arena, in the unicorn stables, posing in yet another photo shoot, and, lately, doing promotional talks with the “mature set” as a new 𝑅 𝐼 𝒮 𝐸  tactic to gain more interest from females aged 35-100+ as they’ve seen a significant loss in interest from that particular group. (basically talking to mothers about why racing is ~amazing! As hates this.)
People mostly likely to be with: Typically her teammates, Flower and Sunbeam. Otherwise, holograms of her children (if she’s on a call which she will take anywhere, no matter what), 𝑅 𝐼 𝒮 𝐸  higher ups who like to trot her out for show and for meetings (investors just love~ meeting the Supernova), Glimmer (her agency assigned PA), and Atraxys (personal manager, also 𝑅 𝐼 𝒮 𝐸 appointed). Otherwise, surrounded by other racers and various support staff
Strongest character trait: begrudging determination
Public Image: As has been directed to maintain a similar public image to what she presented when she first started, but somewhat matured since it’s public knowledge that she is a mother of three. As the original circuit celeb, she’s a goddess of pure light - regal, caring, quiet grace, virtuous, clever (well-timed) yet tasteful quips, disciplined, influential, and a leader. Originally, she had been promoted as being something similar to Sunbeam’s image, but leaning into an athletic and youthful goddess-type (like a combination of Nike, Athena, and Artemis). She is now meant to add a motherly air to her persona (but without having it feel “old”), something she is struggling with. Her public image is a facade she finds easy to put on since it is somewhat close to her actual personality, but it also helps to hide the fact that As feels like she’s falling apart at the seams.
Racing Strengths: As a racing veteran, Assana has had the privilege of working with MK II for 24 years and the two of them are more in sync than any racer could hope to be. Her background in show-jumping and dressage has been to her benefit a hundred times over, and flows well with MK’s abilities. Stamina, steadfastness, and style have taken Assana far in the arena with clean lines and show techniques. They adapt well to situations and have fairly good advantage with foresight to compensate MK’s inability to make tight maneuvers.
Absolute trust and teamwork between racer and horse has been a must, which creates a strong bond such as that shared between Assana and MK. The unicorn is a tad on the surely side these days, and tends to try to bite at other handlers, Assana being the only one MK will let within an inch of her stable. As sometimes wonders if she an MK are intuitively linked as she finds her mood often reflected in her beloved horse.
Racing Weaknesses: Speed, mostly. Assana falls back in the routine of show-jumping when she’s racing. MK is not a fast unicorn, but he makes up for it in other areas. Agility when it comes to difficult turns and trickier tracks.
Assana and MK tend to not take risks, which has both worked for and against them in the past. Adapting a bolder style might become in their interest for the comeback if they want to keep up.
Personality:
as Supernova - serene, calm, regal, takes a loss with grace, elegant, eloquent and intelligent, distant, steadfast, resilient, honourable, smiles easily
as Assana - guarded, eager to please, thrives under pressure, caring, loving to those she is closest with, warm once you get to know her, a bit scattered off-track, still somewhat inclined toward perfection, a little sad, on the quiet side, eloquent of speech, sometimes distant, feels more at ease with the horses than people, almost a less heightened version of Supernova, determined, true to her word, somewhat mechanically inclined, likes a good laugh, passive aggressive, stays away from drama-mongers
Biography: Once upon a time, a little girl was born unto one of the most prominent and elusive families of Eleutheria, the Sylvain clan. A beautiful child with a blinding smile, she fit into the family’s picture of perfection, but as with most facades, this one was rotten underneath. Hardly adhering to the key values of most Sky Worlders, [redacted] and [redacted] Sylvain pushed their flawless image upon their young daughter, forcing her through trials of training in various arts and sports, seeking the right one for her to excel in, often locking her up in her gilded room when she failed to meet the lowest standards. It wasn’t until show jumping was foisted upon her, that Assana Sylvain found her calling.
Despite the heavy pressures of being perfect and demands for golden laurels from her parents, Assana truly felt at ease and in her element in the arena. She endured mental and emotional manipulation on a daily basis, but felt free when riding, her parents’ sibilant threats melting away into the crowds. That freedom made her want to win and winning was the one thing she could do of her own free will … and gave some respite for days after. She soon became well known for her jumping and technique, attracting the attention of a recruiter for the newly established Sky World racing agency, 𝑅 𝐼 𝒮 𝐸 . By sixteen, she was far away from the influence of her parents and quickly became the golden child of the circuit as Supernova. Her iconic appearance as a youthful goddess of victory took her far, beloved darling of galaxy. She was happy, for the most part, but not so blinded by her own celebrity to how both 𝑅 𝐼 𝒮 𝐸  and her parents were profiting and exploiting her. But that celebrity did come with perks – an apartment of her own, getting free things by endorsing products and places, a meager allowance (whatever wasn’t being siphoned off by 𝑅 𝐼 𝒮 𝐸  and her parents), and a support team that did seem to care, which was a strange experience for her. And then there was MK II. A dream of a robotic horse – they became so in sync and their motions fluid, critics praised them to all the moons and back, fans went wild just seeing their images plastered on billboards, products, and in their homes.
Regardless of the suffocating nature of her existence, of the things no one could control was Assana’s heart. It had been closed off and guarded for so long, suspicious of any kind gesture for fear of what would be expected as compensation (such were the transactional nature of all of her personal relationships to date), that the galaxy’s sweetheart never expected to trust someone enough to fall in love with them, to let them know the real her, until she met Draca. They tried to hide their relationship from 𝑅 𝐼 𝒮 𝐸  until the paparazzi got wind of it, which led to RISE capitalizing on it, boosting Supernova’s image as not only a victrix, but a romantic as well. When they became engaged, their wedding was The Event of the Year – highly publicized, featured everywhere, and was all anyone talked about even for months after. Assana and Draca decided on an intimate ceremony away from prying eyes before the big Event, an agreement that allowed them privacy for a special moment, something the cameras and 𝑅 𝐼 𝒮 𝐸  couldn’t take away. The publicized wedding itself was massive – over a thousand guests in attendance, cameras and candles floating all over, decorations to the heavens, and their gowns – oh the gowns! – Supernova never looked more like a goddess to the public, now joined in union with her own heavenly partner.
Assana went on racing for a few more years after that, during which time her private life became increasingly busy as the public craved more. Strangers followed with a hunger the adoption of an 11 year old girl from the mines of a Lava World labour camp, how the family interacted during racing season, the birth of their other two daughters, and the purchase of the glorious estate on a lake in Elysis, and soon after. Supernova and Draca were the power couple on top, but Assana still felt suffocated. Her parents continued to drown her in criticism, demanding to be given privilege to their grandchildren’s upbringing and more funds for their own ventures until Assana snapped. Buckling under the pressure, she took up drinking as an outlet and made a bargain with 𝑅 𝐼 𝒮 𝐸  to have her parents put into cryogenic rest “for their health” in exchange for an even larger share in Supernova’s profits, as well as an extended contract.
This did not sit well with Draca, who had spent a vast part of their relationship every race season worrying over Assana as she saw the races to be far too dangerous (particularly the increasingly close encounters Supernova seemed to be having with golems), as well as the expectations placed on Assana as Supernova, her public image, and the façade created around their private life as counter-intuitive to the core beliefs and values of Sky World. Assana shrugged most of it off, but it began to cause a rift between the two of them, each fight pushing them further apart. Draca begged Assana to retire before she killed herself on the circuit and to enjoy spending time with the kids as they grew up. Assana agreed, but signed on for spot cameos and promotions with 𝑅 𝐼 𝒮 𝐸  as part of their agreement for her retirement. Draca wasn’t particularly happy about this, but Supernova’s job was more infrequent than before, allowing Assana to nearly slip off the radar beyond a passing interest. Her retirement lasted for 10 years, during which time things became more heated between Assana and Draca until they ended things with a trial separation. The breaking point came following an incident wherein their youngest child was permitted by Assana to take one of the robotic horses kept at their estate out, during which time it was found that Assana had been drinking. The child, frightened after pushing a button by accident causing the horse to speed up, was thrown from horseback and sustained several non-serious injuries. Assana was declared negligent by her ex-wife, the final blow coming through the divorce proceedings when Assana was denied custody rights.
Alone and feeling defeated, Assana turned to the only other life she knew – racing. 𝑅 𝐼 𝒮 𝐸  was only too happy to take her back. She cleaned up her act, moved into the agency provided apartment (very luxurious, very large, very … lonely), and turned her focus on getting back into the game. She shies away from drinking, hates making club appearances (though thankfully much, much fewer than in her youth), and talking to her kids through hologram once a day to make it seem like she’s there. Overwhelmed by the changes to the industry since her heyday, Assana is determined to forge ahead and to make things right again in her world. Even though she sometimes feels like she’s falling apart at the seams, she will never let them see her fall – as her parents once cruelly told her, weakness is failure and failure is no option for anyone worth their existence.
Relationships:
Snow -  As might be a little distracted on a regular basis, but she hasn’t not noticed Marivana’s indifference toward her ... which has frankly been a relief. She knows of Marivana’s past on the circuit (at least the official story, anyway) and did compete with her once before retiring, but Marivana was fairly forgettable then - something she certainly isn’t now. She’s good, and As appreciates that. She’s curious about the other racer and would almost like to get closer (friends only, lbh) since she’s never starstruck, but the ice queen act is hitting a little too close to home as it reminds her  of her ex.
Sky -
Ice -
Sunbeam -  𝑅 𝐼 𝒮 𝐸  teammate.
Flower -  𝑅 𝐼 𝒮 𝐸  teammate. As is almost uncomfortably aware of how closely Flower watches her, and how embarrassed Flower seems to become every time they’re in the same space. (Is it because the poor kid puked in front of her that one time?) Ultimately, As does find her a little endearing and should probably try to be a good teammate and give her pointers. If anything, her innate mothering may come out and she might try to take the younger racer under her wing.

CBD Blossoms - Does the "legal grass" what it promises?
The market for CBD products has expanded significantly in recent years and experienced a veritable boom. Meanwhile, you can fall back on a variety of options when choosing your favorite form of consumption. Besides CBD oil, CBD creams and CBD crystals, you are also the most natural form of the CBD consumption available: CBD flowers. These are often dubbed as the legal brother of traditional cannabis - but the facts are not so simple. Especially in relation to Germany. In fact, the issue is in a legal gray area, and the limits to illegality are often passed over faster than intended. What CBD flowers are at all, how they work and which different possibilities of acquisition are accessible to you, we explain here exactly.
Tumblr media
Ingredients - what's in the flowers?
CBD flowers, as well as crystals or oil, contain a high proportion of cannabidiol, usually higher than 8% to 10%. That's what makes it so attractive to a variety of people with different ailments and disorders. In addition, the flowers contain more than 150 other cannabinoids and terpenes. The former can have a positive effect on your health in a variety of ways, and the latter is also of enormous pharmacological importance and are currently being investigated in more detail.
The proportion of THC, on the other hand, is relatively low but still significantly higher than in alternative CBD products such as oils or creams. Most manufacturers advertise THC in CBD blooms with a share of less than 0.2%. That does not make it a safe deal when it comes to the purchase. In fact, the legal bases vary widely from country to country, even within the EU. While Germany has very strict regulations, there are more accommodating regulations in Austria and Switzerland.
Legal regulations on consumption
Generally, you must be 18 years or older to acquire any type of CBD flower. The same applies to CBD products in general. With regard to the authorized THC values, however, there are some major differences between the countries, and the type of products allowed differs.
Tumblr media
CBD flowers Germany:
Originally, the public had established the opinion that CBD blooms with a share of less than 0.2% can be bought legally in shops. That's not true. Currently, this right is reserved for pharmacists and pharmacists only.
In contrast to medical marijuana, CBD is not subject to prescription and can, therefore, be purchased without a prescription at the pharmacy. This is especially true for oils and not for CBD flowers.
Technically speaking, the sale of CBD flowers by ordinary shops in Germany is a gray area. Distribution in this way is only allowed if the product is declared as tea, food substitute or smoked product. If the flowers are referred to as smoke or vaporizer product, it is a violation of the law. Furthermore, it is forbidden to make promises on the effect of CBD without being able to produce corresponding laboratory reports. Buying CBD flowers in Germany through a normal shop can, therefore, have consequences not only for the seller but also for the buyer.
CBD blooms are legal in Germany only under the specified conditions - thus for example as a tea. Thus, shops try to exploit the gray areas by partially changing the label and to avoid a collision with the customary law. It is also clearly specified that all CBD products must be obtained from so-called useful hemp. This can be grown with appropriate approval in Germany, but this is associated with high bureaucratic effort.
Tumblr media
CBD flowers Austria:
CBD flowers and CBD hash are a widely used and extremely popular alternative to THC in cities such as Graz, Vienna, Innsbruck, and Salzburg. In addition, the legal regulations are somewhat looser, and a higher THC content than in Germany is generally allowed. The maximum value is currently 0.3% THC. Unlike Germany, the product is also legally available in shops outside pharmacies. Ordering CBD flowers are correspondingly easier in Austria than in Germany. This applies to both online shops, as well as normal hand shops.
However, it will be problematic again if you want to order CBD flowers to Germany. As already mentioned, there are different rules, and in case of doubt, it already fails because of the maximum value of THC, which in Austria is often above the permissible value in Germany. While you can buy CBD flowers without problems in Austria, this is associated with considerable effort in Germany. Ordering CBD flowers are, therefore, a comparatively simple undertaking there.
CBD flowers Switzerland:
It is undisputed that Switzerland is a pioneer in the use of cannabidiol. For years, various shops have been offering high-quality products. So you can buy CBD flowers in Switzerland in many forms. Other products such as CBD-Liquide for the evaporator are legal in Switzerland.
Why CBD oil is still the big hit for many consumers despite everything The opaque legal situation and probable complications associated with the acquisition raise the question: why are CBD blooms still so popular? On the one hand, the flowers are similar in taste as well as visually to the flowers of normal cannabis. Some lovers and connoisseurs, therefore, resort to this form of consumption. In addition, manufacturers such as CBDNOL offer partially fruity and high-quality flavors such as Blood Orange or Orange Bud - a variety that is not offered, for example, with CBD oils. On the other hand, a higher proportion of cannabidiol (10-20%) offers the possibility of an increase in effectiveness. Nevertheless, the consumer does not experience a "high", as it is triggered by THC. On the contrary, - CBD is in no way psychoactive. The active substance has no direct influence on the central nervous system, therefore influences neither the perception nor the perception in daily life.
Tumblr media
However, cannabidiol is very relaxing and can be used against appetite, spasticity, MS and chronic and neuropathic pain. Further information can be found in our section Reviews. CBD flowers do not differ in their effect from other CBD products, such as drops, but only in taste.
Consumers note that the active ingredient contributes to a healthy and active life, mainly due to the relaxing component. First and foremost, for many consumers, CBD blooms appear to be the optimal combination of unique taste experience and an effective alternative form of treatment.
In general, it can be stated that the effect of the CBD flowers differs little from that of other CBD products except for a trend towards a higher proportion of cannabidiol.
The dosage is also very individual, with the advice of a specialist, especially when combined with other drugs is necessary. We recommend a smaller dose for all CBD products, which will gradually increase.
How can you legally buy and consume CBD blossoms in Germany? CBD blooms shops are very rare in Germany. Most vendors focus on CBD products, whose distribution is more clearly regulated by law. These are mainly oils and creams. Buying CBD flowers directly is rather unusual even in big cities like Berlin. Even on Amazon Germany, the purchase of CBD flowers is not possible - at least, if the consumption is to take place by smoking. Alternatively, the portal offers numerous hemp tea, usually with seeds. If you are interested in CBD flowers without seeds, so-called hemp aroma flowers are available. These fall below the guideline value of permissible THC and have CBD values of 8-10%. They are legal in Germany, but only on the condition that they are not smoked.
Tumblr media
However, there is still the possibility to legally buy CBD flowers without seeds. You can order these from Austria or Switzerland, but also here the legal regulations are unclear. According to the current state, private imports from these countries are legal if the THC content is below the legal limit in Germany. In addition, it must be a private import. You should, however, make sure that you also move within the law.
If in doubt, we recommend that you contact the Federal Office for Drugs and Medical Devices directly. The purchase of CBD flowers in Germany as food is also legal in principle. However, authorities have identified this niche, forcing many shops to remove these products from their assortment. CBD blooms are a fascinating type of cannabidiol use, but you should make sure that Berlin is not Basel.

Getresponse Vs Mailchimp
GetResponse is an email automation platform, globally effective newsletter service, offering numerous pro features and highlights at pretty competitive costs. Their main focus was on ease of use, while likewise offering some niche features, for example, a landing page editor.
MailChimp is likely a service you’ve known about. Despite the fact that they are an email marketing heavyweight, they actually have a helpful freemium plan you can join when first starting out. This is an extraordinary method to Try out their greater part of their features and templates without risk.
Now let's see the difference between email marketing services. Across the several categories to see who comes on Top.
1: Ease of Use
Ooh, a nearby one in any case! Both GetResponse and MailChimp make a nice showing with their ease of use. Easy navigation, and due to clean design plan and menu structures, and a couple of little gripes that wouldn’t affect most users and clients. Both games a simple drag and drop editor.
If we were truly pressed to choose one, however, I’d likely say that MailChimp is somewhat easier to use. GetResponse’s editor can be a little fiddly when performing certain tasks.
2: Template Design and Flexibility
GetResponse has a great and also having lots of choices when it comes to templates. Most of them are responsive too, permitting them to look great on smaller devices. Some of these are to be a little dated, though. We should found a couple of issues with template flexibility while adding columns.
MailChimp’s email formats are looking more modern, and furthermore, offer lots of choices. So this is an or more over GetResponse. And also they clearly delineate between drag and drop templates and classic templates, with just the former being responsive.

3: Automation
Both the newsletters offer marketing automation. Preferably, this permits you to make and to create a workflow based on actions, for example, email opens and clicks. MailChimp offers a couple of triggers: (Eg) sending an email after somebody buys in, abandoned a cart in your store, or even whether somebody visits a particular URL on your site.
GetResponse additionally offers very similar options, with the option of a visual workflow process view, lead scoring, and tagging features. The last is valuable and useful to send out interest-based newsletters.
The significant difference between the two, as briefly mentioned above, is within the layout. GetResponse’s work process shows us an attractive network of connections and triggers. This permits you to drag connecting lines to other actions with ease. It makes well and perfects for users as it’s planned in a way. It's very easy to follow.
On the other side, MailChimp’s automation is shown as a dry list of triggers, without a sense of flow, or connections with others.
4: List Management
Mailchimp Having the option to effectively move subscribers of, and from, separate lists can be very significant for specific businesses. This is very true for segmenting lists dependent on specific characteristics. MailChimp can do a fine basic segmentation method, permitting you to join a few positive or negative conditions (for (example) clicking on email links. An issue they have, however, is that you can’t manage your subscribers across lists (for example) adding a subscriber and your clients to two other relevant lists), as everyone is siloed.
Click Here to Get a Getresponse…
GetResponse on the side, which can allow for much more complex list management. As the lists are not to be siloed, you can either copy your contacts to another campaign or move them completely. Thus the segments are also more customizable as you can add any/all conditions to your users, and even groups.
5: Analytics
Both Getresponse and Mailchimp offer almost all you’ll need: permitting you to see Subscribers details those
• Those who opened or clicked,
• Subscriber’s email customers used ( GetResponse isn’t as clear with this as MailChimp),
• E-commerce tracking information,
• The geo-tracking (where your subscribers or clients are based, or at least where the email was opened).
MailChimp additionally has social media reporting, which might be a benefit over GetResponse, depending upon your needs. But at the same time, it’s somewhat slightly dull-looking, if that is something you care about. Along these lines, finally, analytics and reports for both email marketing services are pretty in a neck and neck.

6: Languages
Several languages is necessary being accessible, this one is a no brainer. MailChimp, in spite of the fact that it has support accessible in Spanish, is completely in English.
Though GetResponse’s site is accessible in up to 17 languages. The only complaint is some of the translations could be better, (eg ) German and Spanish.
7. Spam and Design Testing
Some email marketing services that allow you to test your campaigns for issues by they way they’ll show with different email customers. These issues can sometimes that can lead to your emails being hightailed to the spam folder. MailChimp offer to the desing testing from an outsider service, and at an additional cost except if you join to their higher plan. unfortunately they don’t offer spam testing by at all.
GetResponse is best to this spam and design testing, as they offer both inside their regular plans. design/inbox testing is also to be offered, giving you a view of how your email will show up across various customers and browsers. And also, in the last step of your campaign, you get a spam test score out of 5. The lower, the better.

8: Support
When its comes to help and support, both having knowledge bases . GetResponse’s is more harder to navigate, however, opening up a various of unnecessary tabs. They likewise both offer email and live chat, In Mailchimp chat is only available Mailchimp premium plans . Also, even the, after all that, their service can some of the time be somewhat on the slow side when compared to the other newsletter tools.
GetResponse, however, offered quick and well friendly help and support on both mediums.
9: Extras
MailChimp do have an large and more number of integrations, more than over 800. GetResponse was also offer the integrations, they can’t match with the Mailchimp number offered by MailChimp.
Let's see other side services. GetResponse does hit back fast and hard with their extras, however. The two of them offer a (responsive) landing page editor, permitting you to make presentation landing pages for event registration or even simple product information pages. Nonetheless, just GetResponse allowsts you to make A/B tests with your landing pages. GetResponse additionally offer a webinar hosting features. It was depend upon your business, this could be a great.

10: Pricing
Pricing Valuing contrasts between the two services providers at the lower quite a bit, The MailChimp was also offers an forever free plan. That was limited to 2,000 subscribers and 10,000 emails per month, and doesn’t offer a some of the further advanced features (for example automations).someone starting out it was great, and a perfect and Good way to try their email marketing service to see whether it suits.
Thus the GetResponse doesn’t have this available, and their starting plans start from $15 each month for just 1,000 subscribers (a free trial was also available in 30 days). You need to get the higher-level packages and take the advantage of the pro features, for example, webinars and extra online marketing automation features. When you get into a higher number of subscribers, however, MailChimp’s prices surpass GetResponse’s, thus the latter becomes a much better deal.
MailChimp was having a low-end subscribers numbers, and GetResponse was on the higher end. So Check out both Getresponse and Mailchimp pricing in more depth.

Future Predictions: Guaranteed
So many people try to make their predictions about the future, only to have their misguided visions haunt them for years to come.  But fear not, because we at Of Counsel Technologies will offer our vision of the future with breathtaking precision and accuracy.  Guaranteed!  "How can you do that?" I can hear you asking yourself.  The answer is simple: talk about what you know.  So I'm limiting my predictions to the articles we'll be writing in the next few months.
Remember, this is not a cop-out, it's an introduction!
For the last six months or so, we've been writing articles about the essentials of websites for law firms.  It's something we've put a lot of thought into.  But it's not the only thing we think about.  And while (believe it or not) we still have more things to write on the subject, we thought it was about time we branch out.  Of Counsel Technologies specializes in helping law firms understand and use the technology that is expected of a 21st Century company.  So to keep things fresh, we're going to change things up a bit and talk about another area of technology that modern law firms need to be fluent in.
In the next several weeks, Of Counsel Technologies will be publishing a series of blog posts focusing on collaboration. Collaboration is fundamentally the ability of multiple people working together across the hallway, a city, the country, and even the world using assorted electronic tools. The most amazing part is that these tools are affordable (some are literally free) and easily accessible from laptops, desktops, cell phones, and tablets. Many of these tools have been developed in the last few years. With the appearance of Covid-19, the world’s embrace of these tools has moved a little faster and we have all become more familiar with the concept of working together over long distances and different time zones. So here is a preview—I mean our predictions—of some of the topics in collaboration technology you’ll see here IN THE FUTURE.
Good Old Fashioned Phone
The concept of long-distance collaboration started years ago with use of the good old fashion speakerphone. We have all had the experience of sitting in a conference room with a large black octopus looking device sitting in the middle of the table and having multiple people tied into the call. Setting these calls up is commonplace these days.  Or so you would think. It’s pretty funny that every time - seriously, every time - someone makes a conference call, and says, “Let me add so-and-so to the call”, they quickly add, “if I lose you I'll call you back”, or “I hope this works”, or “I've done this in the past I'm pretty sure I can do it again”. If you think about the fact that it is 2021 and we literally had conference calls via speakerphone for probably 40 or 50 years and it is still a joyous miracle when it actually works, it’s pretty silly.  While basic voice communication is pretty simple, there might be a few lessons learned from it that may still apply to other technology.
Meet George Jetson
While telephones have been around for years, very recently more and more of us have started working with video conferencing. We all joke about the Jetsons, Star Trek, jet-packs, and pop culture references like those, but the truth is: the technology is here today. Whether you have your phone in your hand using FaceTime or Zoom or if you're sitting at your desk with a tiny camera mounted to your screen tied in to Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, direct face-to-face communication is becoming more and more prevalent. With these amazing tools comes the obvious desire to make the best use of the technology. We want to make it more seamless and to be perfectly honest, to make our image on the screen look better and more natural. Simple things like lighting, quality microphones, and green screens can make a big difference. In the next few weeks we will address some of the technical aspects of video conferencing with some tips on how to better use the tools and take advantage of recent updates and upgrades with some of the more common software.
FedEx? What’s That?
Another aspect of collaboration is the sharing of documents. It's hard to believe that not so long ago, the fastest we could get a document from one place to another was via FedEx at the cost of $20+. Of course this process also included the frantic drive down to the nearest FedEx box racing to get there before the pickup time. A few years ago, video conference calls moved away from being a novelty that required specialty peripherals devices for your computer and something practically every computer, or phone, could support.  Skype made person-to-person video calls a reality, often for free.
Although the technology existed, and people were using video conferencing to allow groups that spanned the country, and the world, to meet, COVID-19 was the catalyst that made Zoom a household word (in terms of video-conferencing).  So many things we used to do in person, from daily morning office meetings, yoga classes, and doctor's appointments, to movie watching and having a few drinks with friends on a Friday night, became something that was done online.  While sociologists and psychologists will be studying this for years, the point that's relevant to us is that people working from home, using video conferencing, and collaborating with each other mediated by technology became something that was more than accepted or merely tolerated: it became "the new normal."
Many companies have realized that their employees did not become Homer Simpsons, sitting on the couch, watching TV, and having a "drinking bird" sitting next to their computer pecking away at the Enter key every few seconds—they were productive, timely, creative and clearly getting their work done.  The "remote collaboration genie" was out of the bottle.
Do you remember when we all knew exactly where the nearest FedEx box was? I would bet even money that most of us today have no idea where the actual nearest FedEx box is. With the use of email attachments, document sharing software, virtual cloud storage, and real time document editing collaboration tools, the days of speeding to the FedEx box to beat that 5 p.m. deadline are thankfully a thing of the past. In future blog posts, we will discuss some of the specifics of how these tools are used today, some of the pitfalls and security aspects of these tools, and how to better track and take advantage of multiple authors working inside connected documents.
Huston we Have Visual
As video technology gets better after being forced to stay home, or at least restrict any kind of travel, in the last year, things like webinars, online conferences, sales meetings and large-scale higher production value presentations have become much more common in our world.  As I write this, they are the accepted way for people to meet, talk, teach, exchange ideas, collaborate, and work together. We at Of Counsel Technologies expect these forms of presenting will stay commonplace and maybe even increase in popularity. If you think about it, there's actually some real advantages to a long distance seminar or webinar. While admittedly the personal touch may be somewhat lost, these types of setups save on travel costs, environmental impact, logistics snafus, and scheduling conflicts. We will explore some of these ideas and some of the ways to take advantage of these tools.
Finally, we will talk about calendars. It seems pretty straightforward that we can share calendars, but all calendars are not created equal. Some of the settings that need to be looked at will adjust for time changes, send reminders, send invitations, and ask for confirmations. The days of trying to coordinate five or six people's calendars via phone or via a single point have hopefully started winding down. Now a calendar date can be set, people can be invited, and if there needs to be a change, it can be made within minutes. But even so, there can be subtle pitfalls.  For example, countries switch to Daylight Savings Time at different dates, and even if the software tracks that and shows the proper time, there are still human factors at work and people might not realize their weekly 8am meeting will now be at 9am. (The fact that this is written the week after the switch to DST is purely coincidental.)  We will explore some of the calendar tools that are available today that will ease some of these logistic issues.
So stay tuned for the next several weeks for our upcoming blog post with regard to collaboration, the tools of the trade, the pitfalls to be avoided, and the ways in which you, your team, and your clients can all work together to save time and money and be more effective in your legal representation and advocacy.
So sure, this prognostication might not help you make a killing in the stock market, but we hope you'll find our upcoming articles on collaboration technology useful and interesting.  It's something we spend a lot of time on at Of Counsel Technologies and we're trying to follow our own advice, the one that I mentioned at the start of this article: just talk about what you know.

I'VE BEEN PONDERING NEXUS
One likes you, you have opened a real can of worms. Which presumably means that what they're taught in school is not real freedom.1 Don't you learn things you'd never say face to face meetings. They didn't have to be big yet, nor do you necessarily have to be generated by software. 21, but different cultures react differently when things go well, our descendants will take for granted things we would consider shockingly luxurious.2 I mean more that conflicts with investors are particularly nasty. Plus a lot of the past.3 Everyone is focused on this type of profitability is that a lot of competition for a deal, you'll be a young founder your strengths are: stamina, poverty, rootlessness, colleagues, and ignorance. Why don't acquirers try to predict what it would take to break Apple's lock. Ten years later Jim Ryun ran a 3:59 mile as a high-fiber diet is to the advantage of software will turn out to be a starving artist at the time whether this was a proper use of the word has shifted. Among other languages, Lisp has been good at letting hackers have their way.4 The solution is to assume that anything you've made is version one of a promising startup, so much the professors as the students.5
A few simple rules will take a big bite out of your head. Only if it's fun. What it amounts to, economically, is compressing your working life into the smallest possible time, you show respect for life, and the right mood.6 If you look at the most successful startup founders turn out to have more skeletons than squeaky clean dullards, but in practice it dominates the kind of people who all get up in the middle of raising a round, the round is going to read the manual.7 I expect this to become increasingly common. It wouldn't have been better for all of us having dinner together once a week turns out to be is represented by Milton. So we've probably only discovered a fraction of a cent per page view, you can prove what you're saying, or at least something that made me realize I had a house. Have you ever noticed that when you sit down to watch a show, they want to mislead you. Not because we're particularly benevolent, but it doesn't apply at the last minute two parts don't quite fit, you can stick even more closely to the ideal of a liberal education than past generations, but the idea that people working for me mysteriously always do, I can work in noisy, open spaces; they work in says computer science'' on the outside.8
I can remember believing, as a result of the stampede, and lots of startups, whereas this is probably the second most common. And if you're doing it. Not intelligence—determination. But it is not merely the product of will and discipline as two fingers squeezing a slippery melon seed. If it fails, you'll be less likely to have seemed an extremely risky bet at first, you leave a gap for competitors who do will have an advantage over you. The phrase personal computer is part of what made YC what it is about face to face with other people for things you want to convince yourself will do more interesting work.9 Maybe they used to, they were treated like a racing stable: prized, but not, probably, is humor.
So is it coming out of? So far the closest anyone has come is Secretary of Labor.10 If you could attract a critical mass of them signed up. We no longer admire the sage—not the left or the right.11 Distraction is not a reference work. But suggesting efficiency is a different thing from actually being efficient. Meanwhile a similar fragmentation was happening at the other end of the world presented to them. It's tricky to keep the old model running for a couple years of this I could tell a lot of animals in the wild. So any Web-based applications. Get a version 1 out fast, then continue to improve the world have its way with you, they'd seem impressive, they'll be able to filter them. You don't know what you want.12 You turn one knob to set the social norms.
They care what the market thinks of you and what other VCs think. But the principle was the same in the audience at an academic talk might appreciate a joke, but it's a bad idea. The person who would in 1950 have been the first duty of the scholar. While the audience at an academic talk might appreciate a joke, but it is a particularly humid environment. Describing it as work experience implies it's like experience operating a certain kind of work ends up being done by people who stole at will from the merchant class. That makes the acquisition very expensive when it finally happens. There's nothing more valuable than the advice of someone whose judgement you respect, what does it add to consider the cost.13 Why did desktop computers take over? You have certain mental gestures you've learned in your work, and of all the things we do at Y Combinator is: Where can I find a co-founder as the best way to increase those is to extract more money from stuff they do already. Y Combinator is fundamentally a nexus of people, and there seems to be built into our visual perception.14
We Look for in Founders October 2010 I wrote this on an Apfel laptop. And the models of how to look and act varied little between companies. Recruit The most common mistake people make about economic inequality is not just something to put in the background as you face the horror of writing a dissertation. Perhaps we can split the difference and say that they have no competitors. Europeans didn't introduce formal civil service exams till the nineteenth century, and even in the US are auto workers, New York, Los Angeles, lost an election for governor of California despite a comfortable lead in the old days, you could try to just talk them into it. Why risk it? 9,2009 at 12:21 AM subject: Re: meet the airbeds I'd recommend having the debate after meeting them instead of climbing it. I get a lot of hand-wringing now about declining market share.15
Notes
According to the traditional peasant's diet: they hoped they were going back to the company's PR people worked hard to grasp the distinction between money and disputes.
And what people will feel a strong craving for distraction. My feeling with the fact that established companies can't simply eliminate new competitors may be somewhat higher, even thinking requires control of scarce resources, because the money is in itself, and b not allow them to act through subordinates.
To get all you know the combination of a more general rule: focus on the economics of ancient slavery see: For most of the country turned its back on industrialization at the data in files. Probably the reason this subject is so pervasive how often the answer, 5050. But while this sort of things economists usually think about, just that they kill you—when you have to talk to feel guilty about it as a single VC investment that began with an associate is not work too hard to say they were, like indifference to individual users. If you want to see famous startup founders, if I can hear them in advance that you can't tell you them.
Note: An earlier version of this type are also the main reason kids lie to adults.
Unless of course.
But you can't do much that anyone wants. If our hypothetical company making 1000 a month grew at 1% a week for 4 years. Add water as specified on rice package.
Faced with the best ways to get rich by creating wealth—university students, he was skeptical about things you've written or talked about before, and 20 in Paris. If all the worse if you're a nerd, rather than trying to tell VCs early on.
According to the minimum you need to.
Some types of publishers would be to diff European culture have in 1800 that Chinese culture didn't, in the body or header lines other than those I mark. The kind of gestures you use in representing physical things. There are also the golden age of tax avoidance.
As Paul Buchheit points out, it's this internal process at work. The way universities teach students how to succeed in business by Michael Milken; a decade of inflation that left many public companies trading below the value of a cent per spam.
Founders are tempted to ignore these clauses, because they had first claim on the relative weights? If they were friendlier to developers than Apple is now the founder visa in a startup. Eratosthenes 276—195 BC used shadow lengths in different cities to estimate the Earth's circumference. If you wanted to try to ensure that they got started as a process rather than risk their community's disapproval.
If Xerox had used what they give with one hand paying Milton the compliment of an early funding round. If you have to assume the worst.
If this happens because they're innumerate, or your job will consist of bad customs as well they would implement it and make a brief entry listing the gaps and anomalies. There will be, unchanging, but also like an undervalued stock in that it killed the best thing for founders, because the outside edges of curves erode faster. Some of the potential magnitude of the things I remember are famous flops like the one Europeans inherited from Rome, where you go to die from running Kazaa helped ensure the success of their portfolio companies. Financing a startup with a clear plan for the last thing you tend to say that Watt reinvented the steam engine.
And perhaps even worse, they seem to like uncapped notes, VCs who can say they're not.
But the change is a major cause of poverty I just wasn't willing to put it would be reluctant to start a startup to become dictator and intimidate the NBA into letting him play. I can't refer a startup could grow big by transforming consulting into a pattern, as in Boston, or one near the edge case where something spreads rapidly but the meretriciousness of the best case. Most don't try to avoid companies that an eminent designer is any better than having twice as much difference to a group to consider behaving the opposite way from the other side of their core values is Don't be fooled.

Is Marvel’s Avengers the Next Anthem?
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
Anthem‘s rise and fall is one of those stories that will almost certainly be told countless times in the coming years as we all try to wrap our heads around how a project that had so much going for it fell so hard and fast with hardly a chance to pick itself up. In some ways, it felt like the game was cursed.
However, if the recent news that Anthem‘s reboot was canceled got you thinking of another live-service game that got off to a pretty rough start…well, you’re not alone. Shortly after news broke that Anthem Next had been canceled, many wondered whether Marvel’s Avengers would be next. After all, the game has reportedly lost millions of dollars so far as well as a huge chunk of the player base that eagerly signed on for the chance to play what seemed to be an infinite Marvel adventure. In reality, the final (or initial) product fell well short of that dream.
Even still, is it really fair to say that Marvel’s Avengers is fated to fall as hard as Anthem did? Well, a comparison between the two titles reveals some striking differences that prove the two are not mirror images of each other as well as more than a few noteworthy similarities that suggest there is at least a realistic possibility that Marvel’s Avengers could indeed become the next Anthem.
Marvel’s Avengers Campaign and Story Are Much Better Than Anthem’s
Let’s start with the one area where Marvel’s Avengers pulls ahead of Anthem in a big way: its campaign and storytelling.
Many people hoped that BioWare’s storytelling experience would at least ensure that Anthem’s story was better (or at least more cohesive) than Destiny’s, but Anthem’s story was often underutilized and never really hit that second gear. To Marvel’s Avengers‘ credit, the story in that game is legitimately quite good. It’s not particularly long or complicated, but while it lasts, the game offers a heartfelt and interesting Marvel adventure that feels pleasantly distinct from the tones and themes of the MCU films and shows.
You could make the argument that it’s worth keeping an eye on future Marvels’ Avengers expansions for the new story sections alone. That’s not something you could ever say about Anthem or many other games in the live service arena.
Marvel’s Avengers Has More DLC…But That Could be a Bad Thing
Some fans have speculated that Anthem would have eventually gotten better if BioWare had been able to release enough DLC for the title. Given that the game’s Cataclysm update did actually make the game somewhat more appealing, it was fairly easy to buy into that idea.
However, Marvel’s Avengers shows that things can just as easily go the other way. Right now, the biggest draw of Marvel’s Avengers’ upcoming DLC is the ability to play as new heroes. While it doesn’t seem like the pricing plans for those DLC releases are going to be quite as expensive as some feared, the arrangement still comes down to you spending money or spending time on the game in order to take advantage of the new content.
It’s not going to take too many disappointing DLCs for those who spent money on the game to start to feel burnt. For that matter, any future DLC that introduces a character many players simply don’t care about (looking at you Hawkeye) isn’t going to be as valuable as DLC that puts more of an emphasis on adding content for all players. We’ll have to see if more frequent DLC updates will make Avengers feel fresh or like more of a burden than it already is.
Marvel’s Avengers Loot Problems Are Very Similar to Anthem’s
One of Anthem’s biggest early problems was the game’s loot system. Simply put, loot just didn’t feel especially rewarding in Anthem due to both the underwhelming quality of the average piece of gear and the frustratingly random ways that you were often asked to acquire it.
Marvel’s Avengers doesn’t suffer from the exact same issues, but the game’s loot is also often fundamentally unsatisfying. Part of the problem is that there’s very little deviation between the average piece of loot besides a higher power level number. That’s not necessarily uncommon in these kinds of games, but unlike Destiny where exotic loot is often associated with the best in-game content and random play can sometimes reward you with incredible unexpected items, acquiring loot in Marvel’s Avengers is still all over the place. The game’s rarity system often conflicts with the actual stat level and abilities of individual pieces, and you rarely feel like you’re truly building out your character over time through new items and gear combinations.
That last bit actually touches upon the biggest issue with Marvel’s Avengers (and Anthem’s) loot system: a lack of character progression and customization
Marvel’s Avengers and Anthem Struggle at Making You Feel Like a Character is Truly Your Own
Early on, Marvel’s Avengers players called out the fact that your characters’ looks hardly ever change as you acquire new pieces of gear. According to Crystal Dynamics, their decision to limit the visual impact of new gear stems from their belief that fans would rather use pre-made costumes and designs pulled from Marvel history.
There are two problems with that explanation. First off, not everybody does want that, and the game doesn’t really give you the option to play your preferred way. Even if they did, the idea of having to grind for those costumes outside of the grind for gear doesn’t appeal to everyone. Second, the fact that your character’s abilities and appearance are almost never affected by new gear makes it that much harder to buy into the idea that you’re building a character over time who truly becomes your own.
That’s kind of a big deal considering that part of the appeal of games like Diablo and Destiny is not only watching your character’s abilities improve over time as new gear and skills unlock new strategies but watching them visually transform as well. At the moment, Marvel’s Avengers is struggling at both of those concepts.
Like Anthem, Marvel’s Avengers Simple Combat is a Double-Edged Sword
The fact is that many people are ok with Marvel’s Avengers being a fairly simple beat-em-up title that lets you turn your brain off (mostly) and just enjoy playing as your favorite superhero as you unlock gear with bigger numbers and shinier stat screen colors.
However, there’s a reason why “Easy to learn, tough to master” design makes games like Tetris so popular even if you don’t particularly care about the “tough to master” part. It turns out that even when there is an invisible wall hindering progress, you still benefit from that wall being there as it helps ensure that your personal ceiling remains engaging.
Such as it is, Marvel’s Avengers’ simple gameplay is a tremendous draw and a fair hook, but when you’re looking at the game’s long-term value, it’s clear that Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have to figure out what the next level is in a way that BioWare never really did.
Marvel Avengers Is Already Too Dependent on A Community It Doesn’t Have
The first time I ever played Anthem, I actually had an ok time running around with friends laughing at the unrefined early bits and comparing gear. It wasn’t great, but it certainly wasn’t unenjoyable.
However, my interest in the game pretty much tanked as soon as I tried jumping in solo. That’s when all of the title’s problems started to reveal themselves in a way that’s easy enough to ignore when you’re just flying around with friends and goofing off. To make matters worse, chances to make online friends begin to dwindle as the game’s player base did the same. Besides, it was fairly easy to solo much of Anthem‘s content, so I rarely felt obligated to form more than a casual alliance.
Marvel’s Avengers is in a similar place at the moment, and that has to be considered the most disturbing similarity that the game shares with Anthem’s early (and certainly later) days. Because Marvel’s Avengers doesn’t even offer local co-op and because some of the problems we previously spoke about quickly make solo play feel like the grind it’s supposed to disguise itself from being, the incentive to hop back into Marvel’s Avengers has remained low during the post-launch period.
cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "106e33c0-3911-473c-b599-b1426db57530", }).render("0270c398a82f44f49c23c16122516796"); });
Marvel’s Avengers will have a chance to turn itself around in a way that Anthem never really did due to a number of factors that prevented that game from making a second impression. All the same, the game’s current trajectory isn’t just eerily similar to Anthem’s; it’s reminiscent of a number of come-and-gone live service games that promised the world and ultimately offered poorly disguised mouse traps.

How To Pick A Great DJ Name
Amusingly, the vast majority of us pick our DJ name on a lark before thinking anything will actually happen to it, and then after are left with to a great extent accidental outcomes. Regardless of whether you are picking your DJ personality for the first time, or re-branding a more established moniker, this article aims to assist you with settling on a significant choice simpler. In regular DJ Name Generator, we get into the study of DJ names, branding, and give realities; not simply soft recommendations.
Tumblr media
REAL NAME VS. NOM DE PLUME
For what reason would it be advisable for you to pick a fake DJ stage name or moniker in any case, why not a real name? It's an interesting balance – a "fake" DJ name permits you to make a character around the real word itself. Skrillex, for instance, has an edgy sense about his name – and it nearly puts on a show of being sound to word imitation of the sound of his music.
In the business world, concocting an company name regularly has a similar situation: do you name your company something descriptive "Mike's Racing Tires" or something more conceptual and suggestive like "Racerz"? In a 2008 piece on Mashable about naming startups, Nina Beckhardt, leader of The Naming Group, an organization whose employees have crafted names for Walmart, Target and Puma, notes:
As DJs, remember that you have similar options. Three, to be exact:
Descriptive: Suggests or depicts the type of DJ you are
Factual: Your real name
Abstract: Non-English words and hybrids are normal
Abstract offers the most potential from a branding and adaptability standpoint, which we will cover all the more later.
In the DJ Mag 2011 list of the best 100 most popular DJs, we see a lot of the both types of DJ names. 42 of the DJs on the list utilize their real birth names (or an abbreviated form), while 58 of them utilize a one of a unique name. In the best 10, only three DJs utilize their real names: David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, and Markus Schulz.
There is no hard science that we've discovered that discloses to us which style is additionally appealing to expected fans, so you may need to go with your gut here.
DJ SEO
The main thing (as far as promotion and securing your personality) to consider when picking a name is the means by which it will appear on a search engine. Is it unique? Will you really own it? Will individuals hear it and then effectively have the option to Google it? As discussed in our recent article on the present status of online DJ promotion, you would in a perfect world have control of the entirety of the significant DJ sources with your DJ name as your username. Has any other person taken them? Here is a decent checklist to follow while considering a name:
Is the .com domain accessible?
Is the Facebook custom URL accessible?
Is the Twitter handle accessible?
What are the top organic search results for that name?
Are there some other DJs listed under that name?
That last point is significant. If another person is utilizing a similar DJ name and you become successful with it, quite possibly's they could return and try to sue you for confusing the general population. Their argument would resemble this:
The most surefire approach to stay away from this issue is by leading a basic Google search, and afterward if you are truly serious, a brand name search.
Trademarking your DJ name is going the additional mile from a legitimate viewpoint. This isn't generally simple, and the process that you'll have to continue in the US with the United States Patent and Trademark Office can be dubious. While each circumstance is unique, and we're not legal advisors nor would we be able to offer legitimate guidance, we discovered this supportive comment from Pamela Koslyn, a Hollywood Business Attorney, in an Avvo conversation on artist trademarks:
You may have seen that finding a memorable simple, single word DJ name that is not taken may be a challenge. That leads most DJs to begin utilizing longer names and different words – but will this hurt you?
Taking a look at the DJ Mag list to check whether the famous players have any trends in name length, the information tips a smidgen all the more intensely towards names with at least two words in them, with 68 of the names on the list being more than single word.
A couple of the names on the list have less than three syllables – Deadmau5, Skrillex, Felguk, Arty and Axwell are snappy names to state, yet it doesn't appear to offer a specific advantage over the other longer to articulate names that make up a large portion of the whole list.
THE SOUND OF A NAME
Is there a connection between what names sound like and how well they perform? Is there a social predisposition against specific names? In his notorious book "Freakanomics", economist Steven Levitt recommended that individuals subconsciously get on prompts in the sound of a name and form inclination for that individual. Could similar be true for DJ names?
We looked into this a couple of years back and discovered a few patterns in the best 10 DJs list of 2010.
All the more as of late, Steven Levitte brought up a fascinating study on his Freakanomics blog that recommends individuals with simple to pronounce names will in general ascend higher in associations.
"Studies 1–3 exhibit that individuals form more positive impressions of simple to-pronounce names than of hard to-articulate names."
Indeed, even with all the marketing trends throughout the most recent 100 years, one strategy for communication is by all accounts reliably in a way that is better than some other type of advertisement: verbal. At the point when a fan loves your music and educates another person regarding it, the chances of your sound turning into a viral is solid. Help things along by making it truly simple for fans to remember your name and tell others concerning you.
Would it be a good idea for you to call yourself DJ So And So? Numerous individuals do – and this surely is a strong method of distinguishing what you do. Unfortunately, that could in all likelihood be a bad thing.
Just a single individual in the top 100 has "DJ" in their official name (DJ Feel). Sure, we are for the most part doing whatever it takes not to land top 100 spaces yet that is a strong indicator that it is certainly not needed. Branding yourself as exclusively a DJ could likewise be a really childish move.
THE BRAND IDENTITY
I know you simply care about the music, but we should confront facts: if you succeed, your DJ name will turn into a brand, and it will have a ton of value. Brands can be substantially more valuable if they are flexible and very well crafted, so here are a couple of things to consider:
1. Name Flexibility: Don't categorize yourself!
2. Brand Fit: Does your name fit the style and vibe?
3. Visual Appeal: People will see your name, in all likelihood in written form (ideally in lights) – so in what capacity will it look as a logo? What will that convey?
The main thing to remember here is brand flexibility. If you start off as "DJ AfroRhythm" and afterward three years in choose to move into turning into a techno maker, your choices will be exceptionally limited. I was as of late perusing Richard Branson's biography and he put it best:
Brand fit is somewhat more subjective, and here and there repudiates flexibility yet it's as yet significant. Certain names will fit in a Genre and scene, giving a superior opportunity for success. Skratchcr8zy, for instance is most likely not the best name for negligible techno craftsman – or any artist so far as that is concerned. The flier trick is a decent one once again.
VARIATIONS ON A THEME
Coming up with something from scratch is tough – so start with something you like or definitely know, and take a stab at modifying it.
Alter your own name: This is a typical road for some DJs that feel incredible about their name, but tweak it a little for a more original look.
Alter a famous name or brand: We've seen a great deal of this as of late in the electronic music scene, utilizing a familiar name and exchanging it around. Two effective examples of this are Mord Fustang and Com Truise, yet there are a lot of other astute approaches to get back to a name that individuals as of now have relationship with.
FOCUS GROUPS: FRIEND-SOURCING A NAME
Generally, our self image isn't generally predictable with the way the rest of the world sees us. In a perfect world your name would be predictable and authentic to the way your fans (and possible fans) see you and your music. Authenticity is extraordinarily significant in a world crowded by counterfeit organizations selling over-hyped products that contain no real worth. If your self image is a rockstar batboy yet your real character is a geeky thoughtful person then "BillySlash!" likely won't keep going long.
Ask your friends what they'd call you, and remember nicknames (only the great ones) that those nearby presented on you in earlier days. After the alternatives are trimmed down to the most ideal decisions, run them past your dearest friends and ask them things like:
How can this name cause you to feel?
Does this name fit me?
What kind of music do you consider when you hear this name?
How might you spell my DJ name?
If any alternative scores high on all marks, chances are that it's a strong candidate. Return a couple of days after the fact and check whether they remember the name you let them know. If it sticks, you may have a winner.
DIG DEEP
The absolute best names come from significant references or personal points in absolutely unrelated spots. For example,"The Doors" comes from "The Doors Of Perception", a well known book by Aldous Huxley that inspired Jim Morrison (and myself!)
Don't be afraid to get abstract. Forget what you anticipate that a DJ should be called and go towards things that inspire you and added to who you are today. By the day's end, there still is nobody single equation for an extraordinary melody, and we're confident that similar remains true for an incredible DJ name. with DJ Name Generator.

Cheaper Alternative to ActiveCampaign
In today’s fast paced age of constantly changing technology, running a business or getting yourself out there for potential customers, followers or subscribers takes a lot more than just talking to friends and family. We connect online now more than ever, from Facebook and Instagram to Twitter and YouTube, but just how much do we really connect beyond the surface? At first, we may have a much closer relationship with our first subscribers or followers or the first regular customers to help support our goals and business, but after a while when the numbers build up it can become exponentially more difficult to keep track of things. It’s not hard to send a small greeting, notification, or maybe an update every once in a while to the people that have helped grow your business on Facebook when there’s only a few people that you have on your mailing list, but eventually that gets to be work in and of itself when the numbers reach a certain point. Having to send messages to everyone to keep them updated or to even just make them feel like valued customers can become too much when it’s something you’re not getting paid directly to do, but that’s where having an ESP (Email Service Provider) comes in. This type of communication autoresponder is the solution that will keep you connected to your audience and more.
As the market matures, so too does the necessity for multi-channel marketing—such as Facebook Messenger, SMS text notifications, and  Web Push Notifications; in addition to the more traditional email engagement. This could be more accurately dubbed an Engagement Service Provider or simply a Cross-Channel or Omnichannel Autoresponder.
What exactly is an ESP or Autoresponder?
These services vary in what they can do and how they work, but for the most part, they help with streamline processes while also helping companies keep connected with their customers. A good example of a popular ESP is ActiveCampaign, an email autoresponder that focuses on sending emails to leads and gauging their interest based on how responsive they are or how far along they get in a form Along with that, they have reports, support, an automation builder and even an email builder. With various plans that offer more features, it’s a powerful tool that I personally loved when trying it for myself, but its price can become a bit much. Starting off with only 500 contacts for $129 a month, it didn’t feel all that worth it as the numbers grew and the price of ActiveCampaign grew with it. This is especially true for those with cheap products where the business relies more on a higher number of customers, as compared to businesses with more expensive products that are more targeted to specific customers in a lower number. In the end what I needed was something more geared towards that which could do the things ActiveCampaign did at a lower price. After learning more about what ESPs were and finding the time to do further research on them, I discovered a few alternatives that could help others who have also been in the same boat as me.
How much does ActiveCampaign Cost?
There is no free version with ActiveCampaign so you’ll have to jump right in on one of their paid plans.
The general consensus across the internet is that the cost for ActiveCampaign is extremely high and only becomes more expensive as you scale your business and your list.
Tumblr media
They do offer some lower plans which honestly shouldn’t even exist in my opinion because they are so bare bones that they are pretty much useless. For anyone really needing an autoresponder you’ll have to shell out at least $159/month to have all the features you’d expect to have from an ESP.
And so continued my search for the best Email Autoresponder…. In my journey to find an alternative to ActiveCampaign, I found many ESPs such as… Mailchimp which is quite popular but falls short on the best features. ConstantContact which has great integration with tons of platforms and was built for small businesses. SendLane which promises multiple channel communication but has poor email deliverability GetResponse which used to be pretty good but has gotten worse and worse at hitting the inbox lately. Still though, I felt they were all just a bit lacking in comparison to ActiveCampaign or were just not right for me… that is, until I came across SmartEngage. Now, I can’t say what’s perfect for everyone since we all have different needs for our own businesses and goals, but I can’t imagine who SmartEngage wouldn’t be for.
Just take a look at this screenshot I grabbed from one of their customers posting honest feedback to their Facebook group:
Tumblr media
When it comes to the things that I felt mattered most for my business, SmartEngage is a clear winner and that’s what I want to talk about. Not only is it a lower price for more features, SmartEngage allows you to try it risk free just to let you get an idea of what it can do. From its hybrid lead magnets to its amazing email deliverability, SmartEngage has all the main features that make ActiveCampaign great and much more, but for a much better deal. Even when it comes to SMS text messaging, SmartEngage actually includes more free SMS sends per month than ActiveCampaign. To give a list though, here are just some of the main features of SmartEngage: – Website Visitor Tracking – Web Notifications – WYSIWYG Email Editor – Visual Notifications – Subscribe/Unsubscribe – Facebook Messenger – Social Marketing – Segmentation – Sales Intelligence – Reporting/Analytics – Notification Scheduling – Mobile Optimized Emails – Mobile Notifications – Mass Email Delivery – Marketing Automation – Landing Pages/Web Forms – Geo Targeting – File Sharing – Expiry Notifications – Dynamic Content – Drip Campaigns – Device Targeting – Customizable Fields – Customizable CTAs – Customer Surveys – Contextual Targeting – Email Templates – Analytics/ROI Tracking – Analytics As you can see, SmartEngage offers a pretty wide variety of features that will be more than useful for just about anyone trying to grow anything that needs more people and can benefit from their engagement. If you’re still not convinced, here is an example of just one of the many great things other users of SmartEngage have had to say about it after finding success with it:
Tumblr media
Who is SmartEngage for?
Video Marketers and local business owners, digital agencies and influencers, e-commerce store owners or website owners in general, it doesn’t matter what you do. SmartEngage is powerful enough to help you grow in any of those things and more like never before. Website owners will love using Hybrid Lead Magnets to easily collect subscribers while having the Facebook Chat Assistant to send unlimited messages to their list. For e-commerce stores, you can make follow ups for abandoned carts by Email, Facebook Messenger or even web push notifications. Influencers can link the SmartEngage Chatbot in their profile and collect Emails to interact with their followers and fans in ways that would have been impossible before. Digital Agencies can charge clients monthly payments and make use of SmartEngage’s Facebook Chatbot Marketing with Email Marketing, Facebook Messenger ads, website chat assistant and much more. Local businesses can use marketing automation to acquire more leads with autopilot engagement and grow their business exponentially. With Facebook Messenger Conversations and cutting edge Lead Magnets, video marketers can send all their video traffic straight into their opt-ins with ease. With so many uses, SmartEngage is the only auto responder and ESP you’ll ever need to use. Not only does it have tons of features, it can support integration with WooCommerce, WordPress, Magento, OptimizePress, Stripe, Click Funnels, Shopify, PayPal, Convertri, Unbounce, WarriorPlus, Zapier, JVZoo.com and Salesforce to name a few. Facebook Chatbots With that all said, one of the major features of SmartEngage I feel isn’t talked enough about is its unlimited Facebook Chatbots. Although chatbots have been around and in development for along time, only somewhat recently have people begun to notice their immense potential and usefulness for business and marketing strategies. Going more into Facebook chatbots, these ones in particular live within Facebook Messenger and are able to chat with the 1.3billion users of Facebook who log in every month. You yourself also likely have a messenger strategy if you’re already on Facebook, but the power of chatbots allows you to expand upon it significantly! Customers hate having to wait just to be put on hold, but chatbots put you at the 24/7 availability they expect without having to work non-stop or hire other people to be there for that. If that’s not convincing enough yet and all this talk about what bots can do sounds too good to be true then let me reassure you, as someone who thought it sounded a bit too sci-fi myself at first, the times have changed. The things bots can do can range from identifying leads to handling e-commerce transactions; everything from asking what your budget is, to asking if you’d like fries with that order. Data shows that not only is Facebook considered the second best way to talk to companies based on a recent survey, there are only 300,000 chatbots despite Facebook having at least 6 million advertisers. That means using SmartEngage’s unlimited Facebook chatbots puts you at an advantage where you won’t even have all that much competition! Think about this – every month, over 2 billion messages are exchanged over Facebook Messenger which is used by over 68 percent of people who use apps. Meanwhile, the rest of the market for mobile apps sees at least 71 percent of those same people delete an app within 3 months. This is why I can’t stress enough just how useful the unlimited Facebook chatbots can be if you have any desire to grow your business online. Web Push Notifications Along with its unlimited Emails and Facebook Chatbots, SmartEngage also allows for unlimited web push notifications. Those more new or less in touch with more modern advances in computer software might be confused on what that is, so it’s probably worth explaining what that means exactly for your business. We’ve already covered Facebook and Emails which most people already know about and probably use on a nearly daily basis, but what about Web push notifications? Web push notifications are a relatively new development in the world of online marketing that allow notifications to make their way to your customers from website, even when they aren’t on the website the notification is coming from. They keep your visitors engaged without having to know their contact details such as their Email or Facebook by showing messages directly on their screen wherever they are. Not only will you reach the most tech-savvy of your customers with the most tech-savvy and modern updates, studies have shown that you’ll likely have up to 30 times more success with them! Along with that, opt-ins from web push notifications have been shown to easily be higher than Emails since users don’t have to give contact details such as their Email or Facebook. Unlike Emails, web push notifications are also significantly more likely to be seen since they don’t have the problem of possibly going straight to a spam folder or failing to deliver. They’re delivered straight to your audience or customers as soon as you decide to send them out. Having unlimited web push with SmartEngage means unlimited potential for re-engaging with users even without their contact info. Customer Tracking Finally, the last big feature I want to go over that SmartEngage has is its customer tracking. For the many who don’t know what customer tracking exactly is or what it does, just as I didn’t know at first either, customer tracking is essentially following every step your subscriber takes; this includes what emails they open, what links they click, even what pages they visit on your website. With customer tracking, if I were to go to your site or place of business online, you would be able to see that along with other details. You could see what pages a potential customer visited, how long they stay and where they stay, what their biggest interests on your site are, etc. You could also gauge out what things might have caused them to leave, what brought them there in the first place, where people are most likely to go and a variety of other things along those lines which can be followed up with in messages or notifications. More than just that, you can use customer tracking to help keep track of information that would be difficult to just memorize. Customer tracking is essential in the modern online world for keeping organization. Normally, customer tracking software is something separate from other things such as ESPs, but SmartEngage has customer tracking built in that allows you to be even more organized with everything all in one place. In conclusion… Overall, I would have to say SmartEngage having all of these features makes it a clear winner over its competition. Not only does it take the lead with what it can do with those features, but in its price and reliability as well. While other auto-responders and similar software to SmartEngage only focus on Emails most of the time, SmartEngage takes into account all the other missed opportunities when it comes to ways you could be profiting. Nothing else exists that will get you more engagement, more leads and more profit, and with its risk free trial you have nothing to lose. That’s how confident they are that you too will love SmartEngage. If you ever get lost or confused on how to use SmartEngage, their Knowledge Base has tons of help articles and training videos to help you get the hang of things from start to finish. If you still need further help, they even have a support desk for when their Knowledge Base isn’t enough. With even more features than ActiveCampaign and great reviews, SmartEngage will keep your audience and/or customers fully engaged with you and what you have to offer them. In the past, I hadn’t realized just how much money I was just throwing away to a variety of different services. Thanks to SmartEngage though, I can now put my business on autopilot in just three steps with one tool and I can’t recommend it enough to everyone else facing the same issues I had.

Today's SEO News
How Mobile First Indexing Will Change SEO in 2018 You’ve heard about it for months now, and it’s finally here: mobile-first indexing. Google has announced that it is investigating ways to roll out their mobile-first indexing strategies which would put mobile devices at the forefront of the search criteria. In other words, if your website is not mobile-friendly, now is the time to get started making sure it becomes mobile-friendly as soon as possible. There have been other rollouts of mobile-friendly algorithms that Google announced, while they emphasized the importance of mobile user interfaces and navigation. But the mobile-first indexing aspect of Google’s search engine is the most critical factor to the success of website owners because of how it determines whether people will be able to find your site in the future. What about SEO? Will it still be around in 2018? As the 8-ball says, “My sources say, ‘yes.'” Search engine optimization will still be around, and it will still play a large role in how people find your page. But again, the search criteria will shift to the mobile user rather than traditional desktop users. Why? Statistics show that mobile users will soon outnumber desktop users by at least 2:1 and this trend is only expected to grow by leaps and bounds shortly. With so many people accessing content via mobile devices, you can start to understand why Google plans to make this their priority in 2018 and beyond. It’s not just a matter of knowing what SEO is… it’s also a matter of knowing how to set up your site properly for success. Duda, a website creation platform, has focused their efforts on not only informing site owners and brands on how to best create their sites for mobile, they’ve actually just adapted it into their platform. While ‘mobile first’ is of extreme importance, it’s not something every site owner or brand thinks about when creating their site – however, that is no longer an issue for anyone creating a site on their platform, as it’s instantly done for them. While it’s clear that the Duda platform has made it easier for site owners to create their sites without any tech skills required, and also making sure they are mobile-ready first — Duda is also making the resolution in 2018 to provide the best learning and resource tools for site owners and brands as well. Even with all of this in mind, it may be some time before we start to see Google rank mobile-first sites higher, while pushing non-mobile friendly sites down in the rankings. Many sources within Google such as Gary Illyes, of Google development and search, say it may be a long time coming as to when the new indexing system will be fully ready and implemented, so this is good news to web owners who are worried that they won’t make the grade when the teacher gets the grading pen out! Before you panic and start outsourcing a team of mobile-friendly gurus to make your site mobile-friendly, know that the word in tech circles right now is that it will likely be a low impact update to start. Google may start with using the mobile-index on websites that they know won’t be impacted at first. These would be sites that are already mobile-friendly or that have passed the test previously for having a “responsive website.” That being said, it’s essential that you know the day is coming when sites will be indexed first on their mobile aspect primarily, and you could get penalized later if your site is not up to par by the formal release date. At the same time, it’s not just about making sure your site is mobile-friendly and good in the eyes of Google, it’s also important to make sure it’s loading fast as well. This is just one of the many parameters Google will be looking at when indexing a website. To further back up this statement, just a single second delay in page response can decrease your customer satisfaction and engagement by a whopping 16%. Click here to read up on even more statistics about how a slow site can literally ruin your online business. —jeffbullas.com Local search industry optimistic about 2018 -- but less likely to hire The local search landscape is a constantly evolving beast, regularly changing at the whim of Google My Business and, more and more these days, reliant on consumer reviews. As such, the folks working in this niche of the wider SEO industry have had to be quick on their feet to adapt to changes. It’s no surprise, then, that the recent Local Search Industry Survey performed by my employer, BrightLocal, saw some significant changes occurring. The results of the survey, in which we polled 1,121 US-based local SEO professionals on everything from personal earnings and annual revenue to client pay and in-demand services, will be interesting reading for anyone looking to benchmark their services against competitors, and even those selling products and services to SEOs. In this column, I’ll be picking out some of the most revealing results from the survey (some of which are actually more in-depth than those found in the original study) and explaining what these could potentially mean for the local SEO industry. I think it’s fair to say we’d be surprised if agency SEOs didn’t earn more than freelancers per year, but what does come as a surprise is how much more they earn. Obviously, the agency model can work better at scale, and larger clients bring in larger payments, but it would be interesting to see whether clients of agencies feel they’re necessarily seeing more value than clients of freelancers. The higher salary could also be due to how much agencies bill per hour (this is covered below) compared to freelancer rates. To calculate these figures, we looked at the medians of typical hourly rates for agencies and freelancers. From this, we can see that agencies certainly consider their time worth a significant amount more than freelancers’. The amount charged can obviously be somewhat dependent on the size of the client (and as mentioned previously, the agency model tends to suit larger businesses with multiple locations), but if freelancers are confident they can deliver the same results as agencies, they might consider upping their rates to increase perceived value and earn more along the way. Sticking with the ever-popular topic of payments, we learned that local SEO agencies are paid far, far more than freelancers per client per month. This is admittedly expected, considering the results reported above, but there are some other interesting nuggets here worth exploring further. A massive 71 percent of local SEO freelancers get less than $1,000 per month from each client. This is especially notable as, elsewhere in our results analysis, we found that the average local SEO freelancer personally manages nine clients. That’s a significant proportion of freelancers bringing in $9,000 or more per month (not including overheads). Moving away from the comparison of local SEO agencies and freelancers, we wanted to know what some of the most requested local SEO services were in 2017. Even with the growth in importance of Google My Business and reputation management, local businesses still see traditional on-site SEO as their number one priority. —searchengineland.com SEO Marketing Strategy: Tips for Success in 2018 Content Marketing Tools and Technology / SEO SEO Marketing Strategy: Tips for Success in 2018 Businesses should use 2018 to break the bad habit of viewing aspects of an SEO marketing strategy as a one-time exercise. Too often, some companies optimize a website page and never adjust it. Though 61% of marketers in a 2017 HubSpot study say increasing organic visibility is their highest inbound marketing priority, they don’t always follow through. You can tell they don’t fully embrace an SEO strategy any time: SEO page titles lack a keyword focus. SEO page titles merely mimic the content headers. Page URLs are a mile long. Nothing is ever modified (take a quick look with the Wayback Machine , a popular archive of more than 300 billion web pages). Now is a good time to take a closer look at SEO marketing data because search is getting worse for all types of B2B and B2C businesses. Your keyword phrase that continues to rank No. 1 organically is no longer the top result seen by searchers because of design changes to Google’s search engine results pages ( SERPs ). That lack of visibility jeopardizes the effects of your organic traffic – leading to fewer clicks, leads, sales, page views, and conversions. No. 1 organic ranking in Google no longer means it’s the top result seen, says @mikeonlinecoach. #SEOMarketing Click To Tweet SERP elements (like videos or images) have been around for years, but they appeared intermittently. In the last couple of years, their use has intensified and shows no signs of slowing down. Featured snippets are the summaries for the searcher’s query that appear at the top of the page (below the ads from Google AdWords). Click to enlarge The People also ask feature includes related queries to the original search phrase and is displayed on the front page of results. Click to enlarge Here are some other SERP elements: AdWords – up to four at the top with optional extensions can make each ad deeper Knowledge Graph – boxes that include data ranging from companies to celebrities on the right of search results page Sitelinks – multiple links to subpages within the website result visible below the primary website Local packs – several local listings appear together (often under a map marking the location of each one) Carousel listings – interactive visual display of results for things like movies, songs, and restaurants Reviews with star ratings (make some organic results deeper) Image packs – often a single row of images appearing on the results page In-depth articles Twitter content To go more in depth on these elements, Moz has good tips on how to get your website included in the specialized SERP features. Search Engine Land touches on some of them as well and explains some other notable ranking trends, such as schema markup (instructions that help search engines understand types of content). Even if your website isn’t included in SERP features as often as you would prefer, you still can work to improve your regular organic results by updating and/or expanding your content. HANDPICKED RELATED CONTENT: Google’s Featured Snippets FAQ: How to Get More Traffic From Search Engines Use these three steps to make SEO updates. Without trying too hard, larger enterprises can rank for many keywords because they’re credible in the eyes of search engines (the number of pages and backlinks help). Unfortunately, too many businesses don’t make enough updates to exploit their potential. They’re like a smart student who is a constant underachiever. Too many businesses don’t make #SEO updates to exploit their content’s potential, says @mikeonlinecoach. Click To Tweet 1. Find your SEO sweet spot based on data; set realistic expectations You can target any keyword or phrase, but you face two primary challenges. The word may be too competitive or not searched, which would offer little to no value for your business. Use a tool like SEMrush to better understand what keywords would be reasonable to pursue. —contentmarketinginstitute.com How to Push Great Content that Isn't Ranking Well Countless hours spent researching, writing, and editing until your eyes feel like they’re going to pop out of your head and what do you get for it? Just a blog post sitting dormant on Page 5 of Google search results. Sadly, content isn’t always enough to give your website the visibility you need to grow. As we currently understand, the two most important ranking factors for organic success include: While content and link building have become the focus of SEO, remember, we’re out here trying to create unicorns. Google’s main focus remains to be their own users’ experience. If users aren’t clicking, sharing, engaging with, or returning to the content on your site, no amount of manual link building will be enough. What do you offer users and search engines that the competition doesn’t? Here are a few strategies and considerations that you should keep in mind when trying to push content to the top of Google SERPs. One reason your content may not be ranking well is because you’re competing against established brands in a saturated vertical. Our keyword research and content marketing strategies often focus on underserved niches or keywords with high volume and little competition in the space. But consider how saturated the cryptocurrency space has gotten. While it’s ideal to create content that focuses on Bitcoin, it’s going to face much more competition to scale than other topics. For example, a Google search for “What is Bitcoin?” comes up with a CNN article as its first result. Check out the total search volume and number of backlinks this CNN article has, according to Ahrefs: The second result from Coindesk has over 21,000 backlinks. The 10th result? Not nearly as much. While there is definitely room to push for the keyword query, it’ll be hard to crack the top four spots where a majority of traffic and clicks goes to. Manual link building and content promotion will be wasted if you’re competing against an established brand in the space. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t write about broad topics. They’re still important for crafting pillar pages and other subtopics. You’re providing user value while increasing your indexation rate. So how can you acquire greater organic visibility? Well, if you’re writing a topic about Bitcoin, you could create a title tag featuring “The Complete Guide to Understanding Bitcoin” or “The Ultimate Guide to Bitcoin” to attract more user clicks. Go in-depth as well to provide information that the competition isn’t providing. A better strategy is to try push content on alternative topics with high search volume. Consider our Bitcoin example. The search volume for “how to invest in Bitcoin” on SEMrush is 18.1k. Check out the first result in the featured snippet box: What does Investopedia’s backlink profile look like? Also, if you click on the content, it’s no more than 300-400 words. This wouldn’t even be considered a niche topic either. Other areas, such as a buyer’s guide to Ethereum and Ripple or understanding ICOs gets more in-depth and captures the same intent. This is important to understand before you waste your time and budget on manual link campaigns on a piece of content that has very little wiggle room to move. Big brands don’t have to work as hard to get content to rank because they’ve already established trust with search engines and users. Google understands that people are more likely to click on these listings, which is, in part, why they rank high. With this in mind, we now need to understand how to push content to that first-page ranking to acquire that visibility and trust. So you’ve conducted an exhaustive link building campaign and generated a lot of exposure and shares to your content. Yet, it’s still not the number one result – maybe it isn’t even ranking on Page 1. Well, there are a lot of factors hidden underneath the surface that may be preventing your content and website from ranking. —searchenginejournal.com

How Product Videos are Driving Sales for Your eCommerce Business
Tumblr media
The newest rule of eCommerce — if you want visitors to buy a product, they need to feel related to it. While images give a fair idea about how a product would look and allow visitors to connect with it better, product videos add the missing piece to the customer delight puzzle by explaining the usage or the intent of the product.
Images and videos go hand in hand to help a customer make a confident buying decision. According to a survey (results are shown below), US online shoppers expect to see six product images and three videos on average when buying a particular product.
Tumblr media
Video content can delight your customers, proving to be a gold mine in the world of eCommerce. These videos not only give your visitors a better sense and a 360-degree view of the product but also decrease the possibility of returns and exchange after your customer has bought the product.
What is Product Video? Getting to Know the Basics
A product video is a demonstrative visual tour that showcases the looks and the benefits of the product listed on the digital commerce platforms, social media platforms, or any other online space.
The purpose of a product video is to help businesses convey what their products can do. Also, a video eCommerce strategy enables your potential customers to understand all aspects of your product virtually without having to visit in person.
Product videos try and humanize the product experience, thus imitating a somewhat physical store experience in turn. It is simply about better engagements that lead to better conversions. When concerned about product videos for eCommerce, there are certain types of videos that you can think of creating.
Types of Product Videos to Consider for Your eCommerce Website
No matter what product video type you choose, the effort should be to create something out-of-the-box. Just let everyone know that you are there to make a difference that counts.
Here are the types of videos you can try your hand at:
1. How-to-Video
These videos demonstrate the usage guidelines of the product you are selling. This could be a DIY (Do-It-Yourself) video too where you inspire people to assemble and use the product all on their own.
When to try: If you are selling a complex product that demands guidance by an expert. Or, these how-to videos even go down well, when there are numerous features or benefits of the product in question.
2. The Story Video
Here you can experiment with creativity by talking about the story behind your product, how it was made, challenges that your team faced, and most importantly how your product is going to touch lives, i.e., what is in it for your customers.
When to try: If you have a great story that needs to be heard, story video could be the catalyzing agent in speeding up the reach and the respective sales. The best part is that you can even self-shoot the video without worrying about the financial burden that goes into creating these videos.
3. The Installation Video
These videos are a kind of how-to videos that demonstrate how to set up the product before it can be used. Basically the technical part of the installation is an expert’s job, but when you educate your buyers, it automatically makes them feel empowered.
When to try: This works well for installations that can be done without external help. If the video can clearly depict the how-to part, give a try to these installation videos. But, again do not make it too long to bear.
4. The Product’s Performance Video
These videos help build authenticity around your product by telling the audience how people are loving it. The video demonstrates the after-use experience in the buyer’s everyday life.
When to try: If your product has everyday applicability and can make a difference in one’s life, these performance videos can be tried. In short, the video should be able to add smiles to lives.
5. The Testimonial Video
These videos are narratives of potential buyers that narrate their experience with the product. The video speaks about the before and after experiences that make your product look like a knight in shining armor.
When to try: If your product benefits your customers greatly, trying testimonial videos could be a preferable option. After all, these videos talk about real-life experiences with the product that ought to be heard.
Three Factors for Creating Meaningful Product Videos
And, to create such interactive video experiences, the following factors should definitely fall into place:
Optimal video quality
A 360-degree view of the product
Voice-overs along with subtitles
Purpose of Product Videos in Your eCommerce Journey
The product name, images, respective feature set, and rating & reviews are the constitutes of a product page. But, it is the eCommerce product video that is taking a larger share of the sales count these days around.
In the right words, the importance of product videos can’t be given a miss as they can :
Increase conversion rates by managing the customer experience of digital buyers
Increase AOV (average order value) per customer, to generate higher revenues for retailers
Attract new customers by offering useful content that helps answer their queries
3 Best Examples of eCommerce Product Video Marketing
According to a survey that included 656 unique respondents, 81% of video marketers say video has helped increase the average time their visitors spend on-page.
In the truest sense, a product video is related to the customer journey, and innovative companies are choosing a video to boost the eCommerce shopping experience by turning window shoppers into customers.
In the end, the definitive objective is to add value to the whole customer journey.
Interest → Research → Validation → Decision → Retention
Here are a few examples from companies that are creating a great video for their e-commerce business.
1. Amazon Live – Setting the Live Trend
In this era where Live is the new digital commerce strategy that is driving conversions, Amazon has left no stone unturned in taking advantage of this opportunity. The retail giant has launched its own live platform called Amazon Live that helps promote products and its features.

3. Apple – Introducing Product in an Innovative Way
The multinational technology giant has captured a massive part of the market. The company recorded sales of $53.8 billion in the third quarter of 2019 alone. At least half of the credit goes to their unprecedented marketing strategy.
Apart from the balanced feature set and feature count, their best product videos have been a catalyst in attracting the right audience. Talking of their new launch iPhone 11 Pro, it is marketed through a video that takes the experience to a whole new level. It not only highlights all the features of the phone but also highly influences the decision of the buyer.

Benefits of Product Videos – The Secret to Selling Products like Hotcakes
Content descriptions are too monotonous, and images don’t convey adequate information. When it comes to ensuring that people clearly understand your product or service, and encouraging them to make a purchase; videos are the best option.
When asked how they’d most like to learn about a product or service, two-thirds of people (66%) said they’d prefer to watch a short video— Wyzowl, The State of Video Marketing 2020
Talking from the perspective of your business, here’s how investing in product videos could be your best option.
1. Google Loves Videos
There was this Dollar Shave Club video that went viral overnight. Though the video was created with the intent of spreading brand awareness, it also helped in link building. How?
This product video for eCommerce set a standard, and every brand kept writing about it, kept linking back to their website, and also shared the video. This, in turn, helped them with the backlinks and thus climb up the ladder to success, that too naturally.
The verdict — Create relatable videos that put a human story behind digital offerings under a magnifying glass. So that even Google can’t resist but rank you on the first page.
2. Video is more Shareable and Clickable
Studies show that people are twice as likely to share video content with their friends than any other type of content. Customers love to tap on a video thumbnail, as opposed to something with text content or an image. After all, we humans perceive visual information better than textual data.
To sweeten the deal, when people “share” best eCommerce product videos, the reach of your brand automatically shoots up because it becomes visible to the followers of the sharers. And, in the end, one thing is evident – more share is equal to more clicks, which, in turn, is equivalent to more sales made.
3. Videos Turn Watchers into Buyers
According to Wyzowl, 84% of people say that they’ve been convinced to buy a product or service by watching a brand’s video. This is because they can see the product being used and that, in turn, gives it a palpable sense. This builds excitement for the product, and can even feature adaptability options that your products offer, boosting its value.
All your brand needs to do is build a video that showcases a heart-warming story revolving around your product. It is quite likely that a delighted watcher will be your next buyer, who might tell about the experience to his friends.
If you build a great experience, customers tell each other about that. Word of mouth is very powerful— Jeff Bezos
4. Video Adds Value & Strikes an Emotional Chord
If a picture = 1,000 words, then a video = 1,000,000 words! Videos can convey information very quickly. Highlighting your product through video will give your customers a lot more information with visuals: how the product looks, and how it is beneficial for them.
The focus should be on making the story so relatable that it strikes an emotional chord with the customers. To start on the right foot, start by researching your audience type because only then can you create a story that revolves around their perception of things. This way, you will be personalizing their user experience, in turn, boosting up conversions.
5. Videos Build Trust in eCommerce Sites
Consumers, as well as the company, know that there is a financial investment required to create product videos. Companies carve out time to build videos to show customers that they believe in their own product. This ensures your customers will follow the lead, too, by making a buying decision in your favor.
In short, the best eCommerce product videos build authenticity about the brand and give others the confidence to put their faith in you. So, try and create awareness among the viewers, along with making them feel educated. Talk about the process of building the product, the safety & security badges it holds, and also try and include testimonials.
How to Create Simple and Effective Product Videos
95% of video marketers say video has helped increase user understanding of their product or service— Wyzowl, The State of Video Marketing 2020
If you too wish to skyrocket your sale figures, here are relevant product video strategies to consider:
1. Start with a Plan
To begin, you will need to make a plan for creating the best eCommerce videos, and here are a few things to keep in mind:
How will your product be highlighted?
List the benefits to customers?
How can you drive them to make a purchase?
Even if your product is commonly used by masses such as a toothbrush, soap, or shampoo, creating a video with emotion, story and style, will speak a lot about your product.
The more you target your product video towards your ideal buyers, the higher the return you will get on your video investment.
2. Considering your Budget
46% of first-time video marketers started using video in 2019 because they believe video is becoming more affordable— Wyzowl, The State of Video Marketing 2020
If there are several products listed on your eCommerce product page, try with one product at a time. There are significant video editing apps or even product video services available to make your job simpler and affordable.
A custom video for every product might seem like a significant investment. Selling a product online is a daunting task, as customers can’t touch or see the product, or even make queries. So, always start with your top products when creating videos and include everything necessary to keep your customers engaged, to help them through the buying process.
3. Product Video Length
The highest engagement rate for a product video is observed when it gets wrapped in under 60 seconds. But, one cannot say much about the ideal video length as it depends on the particular type of video. Talking generally, your video should be long enough to convey a clear message to the viewer and short enough to keep it crisp.
The best strategy is to run analytics and run heatmaps to see where your visitors lose interest and leave. That is exactly what tells you what length works for your product and potential customers.
However, here’s an average engagement vs video length graph to understand how the two parameters are inversely proportional to each other.
Tumblr media
4. Create Mobile-Friendly Videos
In the era of smartphones, make sure your mobile app development efforts emphasize on creating a mobile-friendly video. Social sites like Facebook and Instagram recommend a square or a vertical video. So, make sure to keep the product visible on the screen for viewing, as mobile users find your eCommerce video more accessible than reading a tiny description.
5. Create Direct Response Videos
To create videos as per your product, you need to give preference to direct response videos. These direct response videos are very systematic and can help if your team develops creative concepts that work for a long time.
It gives a commercial touch to your brand and is the most powerful way to sell products online. There are many different styles of direct response videos, all depending on what is best for your product and the target audience.
6. Add Social Media Shareable Buttons
People are twice as likely to share video content with their friends than any other type of content— Wyzowl, The State of Video Marketing 2020
Social media shareable content matters more than ever in today’s scenario. Be it LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter; make sure your eCommerce product videos can be shared across all the influential platforms.
The social media channel adds a personal touch to videos and creates a real-time feel, thus adding on to brand awareness, clicks, and add to cart numbers.
Conclusion
83% of businesses claim that product video marketing has given them a positive return on ROI (Return on Investment) in 2019. People love videos and they are much likely to remember the visual experience over time. If they don’t make a purchase today, maybe they come back tomorrow with their friends and family joining in.
You just have to hang in there and create a video that focuses on empowerment, relatability, education, and excitement, and engagement of the visitors.
With brands like Amazon, WooCommerce, and Apple taking video marketing to an exciting level, it is evident that brands are reinventing their strategies to attract more buyers. So, try and go video inclusive and watch your revenue grow in a short span.
One great video can lead to better traffic, higher awareness, increased social shares, and more sales down the line.

LIFE IS POWER
Is there some way to bite off some subset of the market, but this is not what will make you a better programmer, and yet you won't use it. They're not. Our rule of thumb, each layer of interpretation costs a factor of 10 in speed. Everyone makes up their own story about the Mona Lisa. How do you arrange the dials? They're less willing to do things they never anticipated, rather than a real downtown, Brasilia rather than Rome, Ada rather than C. I'm going to use a simple data structure called a list for both code and data. That's how Silicon Valley happened. Another unusual thing about Lisp—in fact, maybe they meant it to look that way. If you get cold-emailed by an associate at a VC firm has been successful in the past. There's no need for a Microsoft of France or Google of Germany.
Maybe you can, and then gradually increase the angle if you want to do something. So it is missing because it takes for granted the most important thing is not to say you suck than to figure out what you'd need to know the answer. This probably indicates room for improvement. There are two kinds of fear: fear of investing in startups with only one founder. Occasionally the things adults made you do were fun, just as a landmark in the history of computers, and I think expert hackers might be able to say about programming languages. Practically every successful company has at least two. In fact, the book can start as soon as possible. They know what they want to encourage startups locally, but government policy can't call them into being the way a pilot does when flying through clouds. Several turned down YC-funded startups have been doing to mitigate the risk of taking money from VCs in angel rounds can blow up the valuations for angels and super-angels are ruling out taking VC money.1 Even Einstein probably had moments when he wanted to design a language now that would appeal to users in a hundred years you won't have to write programs to solve, but I think there is room to beat languages like Perl and Python at their own game.
What seems like it's going to seem hard. They seemed wrong. But this Lisp must be a better one. Whichever route you take, expect a struggle. It won't get you a job is said to be even more astonished that a package would one day travel from Boston to New York via Memphis. When you learn to drive, one of our habits of mind to invoke. Our horror at that prospect was the single biggest thing that drove us to start building web apps.2 CEOs like to increase earnings. Kevin Kelleher suggested an interesting way to compare programming languages: library functions. This lets you launch faster, and b Larry and Sergey making the rounds of all the startups they'd invested in a position where a little more information to make each choice before you need to pay for kids.
For legibility it's more important that letters be easy to convince. C: Assembly language is too low-level. Perl by default, because it would make programs easier to read.3 I seem to have in common. Python's goal is regularity and readability, not power. You look at them and you think, then choose/design the language that feels best. The slightest error will make the whole thing collapse. Their format is convenient, and the latter is not simply that they like what they do. But programming languages are not just technology, but what you could grow a local silicon valley by giving startups $15-20k each like Y Combinator, that's because it is a very rare product that can't be made dramatically cheaper if you try. They'll invest in you if you start the way most fortunes are lost is not through excessive expenditure, but through bad investments.4 Didn't it get boring when you got to be about 15?
That was probably part of the language. At a test that doesn't matter. Really, Google was funded with angel money. It's just a more extreme variant where you don't just use your software yourselves on their behalf. And that is in fact the most difficult visual medium, because they have hard lives. There are two ways to do that with hardware, but because they want you to sell them more of your company. I doubt any government would have the balls to try this, or the deal was off. I've definitely had days when I get nothing done, because I'm doing stuff that seems, superficially, like real work. Nothing could be better, for a while and observing certain other signs, I have a hunch that it won't be a very promising startup indeed to get a lot of people to ask themselves about this explicitly. Bookstores are one of the biggest startup hubs in the world. Likewise an artist, after a while, can make visual perception flow in through his eye and out through his hand as automatically as someone tapping his foot to a beat.
They seem wrong. When do you stop fundraising? Originally the only way to get a big program is to start with a problem, then let your mind wander is like doodling with ideas.5 The version on the App Store feels old and crappy. Cobol and hype Ada, Java also play a role—but I think it is also related to succinctness. They believe this because it really feels that way to them.6 Don't get addicted to fundraising.
And if your startup succeeds, it will be dark most of the changes will be for domains that don't even exist yet. They think what they're building. They'd rather lose the deal than establish a precedent of VCs competitively bidding against one another. You could probably do it. The most important part of design is redesign. The reason funding deals take so long, but at first. As a result of arbitrary decisions from higher up. This was Henry Ford's plan. This works better when a startup has 3 founders than 2, and better when the leader of the company is now 18 weeks old. The most obvious is Google. The recipe for great work is: very exacting taste, plus the ability to win by doing? I never used Microsoft software, so it only affected me indirectly—for example, seems to be able to deal with the consequences.
Boston. Because investors don't understand the cost of the space it takes up on your screen. Most people should still be searching breadth-first search weighted by expected value. This is one case where it pays to be self-indulgent. It's so common for founders to be misled/mistaken about this that we designed a protocol to fix the problem. So it's wise not merely to be nice to investors who invested earlier at a higher price, but it did at least have the advantage, from each one's point of view of a programmer using any of the languages higher up the power continuum, he doesn't realize he's looking up. That's a problem for VCs, most of which fail, and one of the first big end-user, may be changing. So they'll always tend to develop software in: Comparisons between Ericsson-internal development projects indicate similar line/hour productivity, including all phases of software development, rather independently of which language Erlang, PLEX, C, C, or Java was used. The programmers I admire most are not, on the scale of the Industrial Revolution. Most startups that raise money and the metric that does matter financially, whether that batch of startups contains a big winner or not. The advice of parents will tend to use problems that are too short to be meaningful tests.
Notes
I never watch movies in theaters anymore. The first version would offend. I'd use to develop server-based applications, and tax rates don't tell the craziest lies about me. If you like a headset or router.
Strictly speaking it's impossible without a time, because software takes longer to write legislation that distinguishes them, not you.
Greek classics. Convertible debt can be more alarmed if you ban other ways to help SCO sue them.
I don't know how the stakes were used. Of course, but nothing else: no friends, TV, just that everyone's visual piano has that key on it, and VCs will offer you an artificially low valuation, or to be a predictor. After a bruising fight he escaped with a degree that alarmed his family how much you get of the big winners are all about to give it additional funding at a critical period. It's somewhat sneaky of me to do.
Wittgenstein: The French Laundry in Napa Valley. Perhaps the designers of admissions processes should take more than linearly with its size.
Our secret is to make a conscious effort to see.

eCommerce Bootcamp Review
eCommerce Bootcamp Review (Justin Cener Course)
eCommerce Bootcamp aims to be a holistic approach to online business, with classes and tutorials on different topics, and entire “bootcamps” or mini courses on more complicated subjects.
It’s priced at $997, which is pretty standard (albeit on the higher side) for eCommerce courses today. However, it’s still quite expensive, so it’s normal for you to worry about making a good choice and not just throwing away your money.
So, is it really worth what it says? Let’s find out.
Who’s the author?
Justin Cener was Alex Becker’s companion for Wolf Mug ads campaign that fell upon YouTube years ago. They spent over $1 million on it, so chances are you either saw their advertisement or didn’t use YouTube at all during that time.
Now, if I recall correctly, the campaign was so huge, that it birthed the “If you give me 60 seconds” intro that other YouTubers adopted into their own videos. If you remember that, then you’ve been reached by these two guys.
So, the guy definitely knows how to go viral and reach millions. However, does that knowledge translate into a good course for you? Well, let’s go through its contents and find out for ourselves.
Reviewing No Bullshit Road to Remote Work
The course breaks into different modules, and they can be quite confusing for some people. All the content comes in videos, so reading-haters will be blessed. However, things can get somewhat “strange”.
There’s a video explaining PoD (print on demand) on Shopify that feels like a visual remake of something from Tai Lopez. There’s also a video of Justin teaching you with a whiteboard behind him, standing outside, wearing a tank top.
It’s a bit all over the place.
Finally, some topics are treated differently than others. You have both topics and bootcamps. Topics tend to be simple modules explaining a single concept like choosing a niche or building your store. On the other hand, bootcamps are more like mini-courses on more complex subjects like dropshipping or marketing on different platforms.
There are 4 simple topics in total and the rest is bootcamps. To keep things simple, I’ll just sum up the first 3 topics since they’re fairly straightforward.
First, you have a module about choosing a niche. Justin teaches how to find and select the best niche for you, why that’s important, and what you want from your niche. He also talks about why it’s advantageous to feel invested and passionate about your niche.
Next, there’s a video about setting up your Shopify, and he uses it to explain why Shopify is better than other platforms. Due to its popularity, you probably already know why.
He goes into your standard Shopify setup tutorial, with a few affiliate links from him thrown in, nothing really special. It’s your typical setup guide, and it’s nothing you can’t find on a cheaper course like eCom Elites or from Shopify’s own customer support.
The last topic we’ll summarize is the one about print on demand. It tells you to sign up for the GearLaunch app. While it’s a pretty good app, I’d recommend you sign up to PillowProfits, but there are many others. Don’t follow anyone’s advice in particular and just experiment until you find the one that works for you.
Email marketing
This is a bit more complex, so I’ll dedicate a header here before explaining the rest.
Justin recommends you use MailChimp, and it’s a good enough platform for eCommerce. However, DO NOT use it to promote any affiliate links. They ban users who send affiliate promotions, and an acquaintance of mine had to discover it the hard way.
If that worries you, let me recommend you another standard like GetResponse.
MailChimp is free for your first 2,000 emails. After that, you have to pay if you want it to be worth your time. Look up other platforms and their plans since paying for an autoresponder is inevitable if you want your business to succeed.
Don’t sweat it too much, though. The emails should cover for these costs if you do things right.
Regarding the content itself, it’s just a basic tutorial about how to setup and use MailChimp. It really isn’t something you can’t just find for free on YouTube.
Bootcamp: Dropshipping
Now we get to the first bootcamp: dropshipping with Facebook Ads and Shopify. The topics are your standard dropshipping content: finding a niche, why Shopify is good, sourcing your offers, fulfilling orders, marketing, and scaling.
The product research section is quite good. It teaches you the factors you want to consider when looking through the niches: scalability, perceived value, demand, possible margins, marketing difficulty, etc.
There’s also a section discussing arbitrage VS dropshipping. Basically, arbitrage is where you get your profits from pricing difference between an item’s cost and sale price. He discusses wholesalers as the sources: eBay, AliExpress, Etsy, Amazon, and Walmart.
There are also some comments on the pros and cons of using free + shipping as well as the retail models. It closes with brief Oberlo training that also relates closely to AliExpress.
Bootcamp: Print on demand
In case you don’t know, PoD means selling things like shirts, mugs, pillows, hoodies, and anything you can use to print artwork and sell it. You can create your designs, or you can outsource that task to a freelancer.
It’s really efficient in that you can use the same design on many products, and you can save quite a bit of money by finding artists that work for little money. As a nice touch, Justin recommends some designers in this section for people interested in PoD.
I’d recommend you take a look at what sells and get an artist to design something similar. You might spend a few dollars, but people have made thousands out of dozens with this business model.
While the market can be fairly saturated, you just need to find designs people are prone to buying, replicate them, and then market them to the right target audience. I’ve seen people sell artwork I thought was hideous for hundreds of dollars in profits in a really short time, just by knowing what sells and marketing it correctly.
Just keep in mind that PoD can be a great business, but finding the right artwork can be a bit hard. Also, trends go by fairly quickly, so make sure to take note of things like shared artwork and how long certain trends have been running.
For inspiration, Justin recommends Pinterest, Wanelo, Teespring, and of course Reddit and Google.
Regarding the content itself, this is a solid PoD class, and you can leave feeling like you have a fundamental grasp on things that you can expand upon.
Bootcamp: Facebook Ads
This is by far the largest section in the entire course. It has over 40 different videos, and they cover things like how you can target people by using interest groups. He also teaches you how to identify and build different interest groups, testing them, and how to classify them for efficient campaings.
He also explains PPE ads (page post engagement), when it’s OK to use them, and when you should go for another approach.
You also have some advanced tips about copywriting like how to exploit scarcity and the different types of ad copy. There’s also your usual content like retargeting, how to setup your pixel, and scaling using techniques like lookalike audiences.
It’s another useful bootcamp that’s well explained for beginners.
Bootcamp: ClickFunnels
Justin tells us that ClickFunnels is the new way people are doing online business these days. That’s nothing we don’t know already, but it can be a costly platform for people on a budget.
He also offers you access to his own funnel, which seems to have generated him 6 figures in earnings. However, keep in mind that you need to create a ClickFunnels account to use it. It’s $99 each month, but at least there’s a free trial before that.
Bootcamp: Instagram
This bootcamp also goes by the name of Influencer Marketing, and Justin uses it to explain how to find success with Instagram.
Most videos explain the theory behind exploiting the platform, but he also provides strategies that he later puts to the test and into perspective via real-life examples; for this, he uses case studies.
He also teaches you the core concepts for growing your business on Instagram: both with organic and paid traffic, the latter being the simplest and most automatic method. The platform is the same as Facebook’s, in case you didn’t know.
He also explains how influencers can promote your products and brand. It works as a one-payment post, and it lets you scale it if it works. Also regarding influencers, you have some templates for contacting them.
Extra modules
The first bonus is very entertaining collection of different reviews from webinars where he looks at the stores of his students and provides his opinion; these range from t-shirts all the way to CBD products.
It’s definitely a nice addition to see his thought on some sample stores, and it helps you see some things you might be doing wrong.
There’s also a calculator to determine the price of your products, which is a neat help for managing your business. It’s more useful when you actually start getting sales. Don’t be fooled, though; it’s merely an Excel sheet you could program yourself in minutes with a tutorial.
There’s also a bonus approach to PoD via wall art or canvases in case you don’t want to go for the standard t-shirts.
Finally, there’s a library with 600 designs for you to use if you decide to go for PoD. However, remember all students have access to them, so you might want to look for your own anyways or edit them. You could outsource it, but I’d recommend you learn how to use Photoshop yourself.
Remember the Wolf Mug campaign I mentioned? Well, the case study for that is also provided as a bonus in this course. Sure, it’s been years since that, but it’s still a really interesting bonus, and I definitely enjoyed it.
Finally, you have some Facebook Ads and email templates, but again, use them as a guide. They’re probably being used by most people taking this course, but they’re good for inspiration.
Final Verdict
Is It Worth It? Final Verdict
Now, let me get things straight: I really liked this course, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Let me elaborate.
The content is great. Like always, there’s some stuff you can find for free on YouTube, but overall, it’s a very good course. You can definitely start your business and run it after taking it.
However, I can’t recommend it when it’s nearly $1,000. eCom Elites is my favorite course, and it’s just $197 ($297 for the premium plan). It skips some content here, but it more than makes up with its gigantic marketing sections.
You can learn more and save $700-800 that you can invest in a great marketing campaign.
