Week Fifteen - Final Thoughts

After fifteen weeks of talking about design, I see the future of design being very modern, adapted, and advanced. I feel like we can only go forward with design since we have come so far already. A couple examples that I can see as the potential future are cars. They have come so far already with small design tweaks like tinted windows and heated seats, and the newest feature from Tesla of being able to drive itself. I feel that in the future this feature will be more trusted and managed because since it is so new people still have their suspicions and doubts, but in the future the road will probably be all cars that drive themselves. Even different designs like smaller cars, SUVs, and trucks. Another example is going to be phones. Phones have already adapted from cord phones, to touch screens, to now phones that don’t even have a home button. I feel like in the future there will be advances with the battery, or how phones are able to bend, or how they connect to cars or bluetooth devices. Every small update is leading up to these bigger advances. My third example that I see as the potential future is medical supplies. The world has already come a drastic way with their preventative care for diseases. For example, I have diabetes and many years ago there were no electronic pumps for patients that could regulate our blood glucoses like they do now. In the future, I feel like there will be ways for medicine to prevent things from happening even quicker, and the technology will give them every cure and hope that they need. 

As designers now get older, they will retire which will allow for new designers to enhance outcomes and provide new elements of design and products.

2 recommendation

For Power the Path’s future development, I will separate into two parts. The first part is the development at Northshore. If Power the Path can install at Northshore, I think the best future development is to add more Pavegen panel on it slowly, so it can generate more power then before. Furthermore, because it is generating power for Eat Street, I think maybe it can give people free entry of Eat Street when they walk on Power the Path, so people will have more motivation to walk on it.

The other development is to put it in the middle of Brisbane City - Queen Street Mall. It is the place where people keep coming and going in streams. If we put Power the Path along the street, I believe the power it generates can provide all the store’s electricity non-stop. Moreover, because people help generate power for those stores, they should get rewarded. Pavegen has an app that can track how much power they generated, we can use this data to reward people who generate a certain amount of energy. The reward can be a discount in-store, or free food/drinks.

Thanks, it was really intense! We saw later on the news that there was gunfire further down the road- that would have been terrifying!

I really liked Emerald Knights. It’s an anthology basically but I now love sinestro thanks to that movie.

An object that I use every single day would be my macbook pro; whether it be for music production, video editing, design or even gaming. I couldn't imagine life without it. I was a huge fan of the sleek aluminum unibody design, because it gave it a really expensive and eye catching design. Even little things like backlit keyboards and airplay functionality make the system even more fun and inspiring to use. Moving to a software standpoint, Ive always preferred mac over pc because of the simple but also complex at the same time - OS. It has never let me down and it functions just as good as it looks.

I want to say I expected more but not really. It is unfortunate, but it’s an outdated mindset the translation/dubbing team has. Especially considering that another company with a much better dub did not get the rights in court.

IT'S SO UNFORTUNATE, and I somehow feel like this is worse than the dubbing mentality of the nineties. WE'RE SENDING PARAMEDICS TO THE MOON IT'LL BE OK

And it's especially disappointing considering the higher-ups switching for ZEXAL II. I know the production team is the same, but maybe a different mission statement or something, you know?

aaaah dang I am not that huge GL fan, trust me xDD I just watched GLtAS (multiple times, I need to say caus I LOVE THAT SHOW) and some other cartoons with GL’s and I know some things bout GL universe because of one much bigger dork that loves Guy Gardner *cough* illbebackinaflash *cough* BUT YEAH

I really dont like picking favourites so the answer will be a list: Killowog, Kyle Rayner (fav human gl overall, I like them all bu dang), Guy Gardner is great in Batman the brave and the bold, Hal Jordan in GLtAS and John Stewart in JL an JLU, Larfleeze, Salaak, Rankorr, Dex-Starr (WELL HE’S A FRIGGIN CAT), MOGOOOO, Soranik Natu, Sintwalker and non-canonic Razar and Aya, my babies ;w;

Not so much a fast knitter just someone that doesn't have much else to do besides that. (also the pattern itself is a shallower shawl/wrap thing, so it was pretty quick in general)

It was! I needed it to volunteer in the hospital, but I think it was really informative. I took BLS, which is a shorter class.

IKR!? I wanna know who the hell approved ALL the writing there. And that isn’t even the worst thing about the Thing, they basically butchered his character there to a point that he’s not even relevant. Just a couple of minutes till it downloads!
