That Wanaka Tree, Lake Wanaka, New Zealand
Heard and seen plenty about this tree. How it started its life as a farmer’s fence. Its branches has a been vandalised and abused but people keep coming to see and photograph it. Believe it or not there was a line up of photographers and their tripods patiently waiting for that magical shot. Wanaka township is vibrant and alive with tourists (local and from overseas)

Got it a couple days ago. Super excited to start painting since I've never done this before.
Well, once when I was like, 8 maybe. I didn't know what I was doing and was impatient so I just smushed the paintbrush onto the paper for maximum coverage 👌 Didn't work so well. Destroyed the brush ☹️
This is a pretty big one so it'll take a while. But alguds, its main purpose is to be an outlet to pour all my feelings into, so I don't mind having more to paint.
It's gonna be fuckin epic.

An experimentation in print media: produced digitally.
Inspired by inkjet printers, using no ink or paper.

I find it incredibly hard to create art inside of guidelines, and so even though this project was originally confined to only overlaying layers of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black - I chose to use 20+ different shades to maximize the possible outcomes and observe how different colours interact with each other.
