can you stop intellectualising everytime something 'bad' happens?
When unpleasant things happen in life, in an effort to understand it and find peace, we (our egos) often either try to find reason and understand why something happened/is so or immediately jump to conclusions and label it, often linking it to our identity like "oh it's because I am _____" or "it's because I did/thought/felt _____ which caused this, I shouldn't have done that!" or "This always happens to me ugh!!!" yet I find this habit ends up causing more harm than good and it is this self-identification that then ends up causing further spiralling and a pattern of similar events later in the future. - 4dkellysworld
maybe, it's all just happening. all you can do is deal with the problem or move on. you can leave things as they are and move on
thinking thoughts about the problem is not helping you, is it? so what do you have to lose if you stop thinking about it?
Fear is your roadblock. You're afraid that if you drop the body — you'll stop existing. You're afraid that if you drop your problem — the problem won't get fixed and you'll regret not having tried to control the situation. ego is a bunch of memories held together by attachment. ego is a thought.
so you are relating everything to a memory. you are having thoughts, and are identifying as the mind, so you get swept along with them. and sometimes you think you're feelings are at fault too!
why? this is torture. please stop
if you're confused on where to start, then start by detaching from the past and future. stop relating every mishap or great day to some thing that you did 2 weeks ago. there's only now.

no one said to stop physically doing anything. it's a mental detachment that we're talking about.
do what you need to do. stay in the present moment. take things one step at a time.
it is hard detaching. but you won't get anywhere if you do not have basic mindfulness to see what you are doing to yourself right now

some ideas if you want to test how far you can go
obviously you are limitless, but you need to see how far you can go yourself, lester had the motto of 'i only know that which i can do' and asked 'what can i do?' since why not go all the way? not out of obligation or fear, but to see how much you can maximise your peace and joy! do it for the truth!
almost all of these require mindfulness as you need to be able to catch yourself in the moment of the mind's chatter - that you can get through being in the present moment (read eckhart tolle's practicing the power of now). infact your whole life will be based on the present moment, and not being in it makes it infinitely harder so please read the book.

whoever i expected something from: give to myself 
before you do this: go here! (getting to a state of neutrality first might make this easier)
this one is to think back on a person that you don't like, now think abt whether you expected something from them. did you want them to act a certain way? now, whatever peace, love, security that you think they were meant to give you, feel that yourself
and even if it was someone that is meant to give you those things, you will need to release your hatred of them and give them up. you don't need to forgive them right now, but you will soon when you won't care much of their impact on your life and when you see that everybody is acting off insane levels of fear. i released my hatred of someone who is literally meant to take care of me and now i don't care abt them, i used to hate having any contact with them but now i can talk to them and not have my mind run 50 miles an hour. also! they called me to say that they're working on themself & will repair what they did
just keep doing that and going back to other people until you feel no more obligation to care abt what they did! this is (one way to) how you become free of attachment to people, and less anger
astral projection
pretty self explanatory, just try ap, it'll make you see you're not your body
for this i'd definitely see how far i could travel and for how long

this one is to affirm this at the start of your day and surrender all trouble and control, just this one day (or longer) you'll let yourself have no problems
throughout the day you can remind yourself, when you are getting wound up, that today you've given up troubles and problems
this requires mindfulness - that you can get through being in the present moment (read eckhart tolle's practicing the power of now)
‘Am i willing to live (in a world) with no problems?’
this is just a question to be used for self-inquiry, meditation, an affirmation, whatever

i think this becomes the norm when you are present in the now (which is why its so important!)
the point is when you go bed, wipe out your past, through whatever way you like. then in the morning make a declaration that the past is no longer relevent! no longer will you go back to it as a source of identity, breaking the habit of it!

please give yourself the grace of forgetting, of being sad, of failing, of fearing. you are allowed to. all is Self. you are okay now and here.
allow yourself to look at the insecurities, shame, guilt and fears.
give yourself the chance to respond, not react.
let vanessa be. vanessa is just a person like anyone else. thinks they are born and will die. every vanessa, no matter how well off they are, is scared shitless. but you treat your vanessa so badly.
you hate it. you want it gone. you see the body and mind as a cage without a key. it hurts. you curse it and nothing changes. you try to convince it and nothing changes. you curse it more.
It is not a matter of enduring, it is a matter of you being so crude to Vanessa, and expecting so much of her when she has no power. Do you feel the same way about the homeless man on the street corner? Do you constantly chastise him in your head, blame him for his circumstances? Even if you are the kind of person to judge based on appearances, you do for a moment and move on with your life. That's because you never thought he was you so how could you feel pain on his behalf? You may do the opposite and feel bad for his situation for a bit, but you still leave the matter alone as he's none of your business and you have your own things to worry about. - post source
vanessa is doing the best it can. it sings, dances, loves! it bleeds, it shudders, it hurts. all is the wide expression of Self.
and yet you hide from the pain, from the hurt, from the thoughts, the feelings. this is not the fullness of Self.
forgive yourself. let go of the shame and guilt. stop shaming vanessa for exsiting just like any other person in the street. stop carrying all responsibilities of the world. it's already taken care of.
you breathe with no help, you shit with no help, you eat with no help, you sleep with no help. and even if you do need help, the inability to do so, happens without your help. your amazon package comes through, your sibling grows 2 cm, the sun rises and falls, the seasons pass by. all by itself. what's orchestrating it all? Self. what other reason have we given ourself the world, other than out of love?
Leave poor Vanessa alone and stop assigning her the responsibility and accountability of everything that the dream shows. The entire dream is all an expression of the Infinite Being, not hers (the ego) which she is just one more creation of. And it doesn't have to be your (the Self's/I AM's) dream anymore when you stop identifying with it. - post source
its already out of vanessa's hands. vanessa can't do anything. let that be a celebration: all is taken care of. unconditonally.

Treat it with compassion, stop bullying it, it's not its fault you're not where you should be. You think he's in the way so you get mad, you get frustrated it's not following instructions or refuses to step aside. But the ego is not the problem, nor in the way. Your attitude toward it is the problem. Let it be, it doesn't know any better! - post source
give yourself the permission to exist as you are. give yourself permission to be as you are, right now. start asking 'did i give permission for this?' you'll find how much stuff is not even your choice. as ada said its just tolerance and endurance of the forced vanessa.
now you realise you don't have to be a forced vanessa. so you go completely the other direction and try to (forcefully) change the vanessa. you're still holding up standards, ideas & roles to yourself. the things that made you hate vanessa in the first place. just maybe, for this moment hold nothing. drop the knife.

there's only NOW. live as if you're past has been erased, lovingly, with no consequences, live as if you've been told that your future is wholly taken care of. there's no memories to go back to, there's nothing to anticipate, no more stories on autopilot. Only Now.

okay so there was an anon question abt manifesting. i'll answer with this post. i barely proof read this so tell me if theres an error. if you need more (you don't) then there are relevent links at the end.
anon: Ima here with a question :) Suppose I'm manifesting my desired clothes , so I just be aware/know that I already have them in my closet ? And Whenever I think that nope it's not true they aren't there …I JUST USE MY IMAGINATION, SEE A PICTURE OF THOSE CLOTHES AND AGAIN BECOME AWARE OF THE FACT THAT I HAVE THEM ? Basically when I found myself thinking about them I just shift my awareness to that I have them ! is this all I have to do ? And what if I feel euphoric 🤧 knowing that I already those clothes in my closet ? Is it oky ig it should be bc feeling has nothing to do with it !? RIGHT ?

first of all, i want to you to remove every information, believing that it's real, your brain, spiraling, wavering, blockages, the universe giving you what you want, someone outside of you, the 3d, the 4d, behind the scenes, the 3d mirroring you, saturating your brain, etc ... [choroukgod]

there's no manifesting.
you are not the manifestor. you are not the doer. i mean it as the character, anon, doesn't do anything. Self does. Self can also be called awareness or consciousness. for Self, all exists. its like a comb, there's the handle and then all the teeth. Self is the handle, you anon, are one of the teeth. you are Self imagining being a human with desires.
i'll give you a snippet of a draft post i made:
"they wanted to be the doer. the character doesn't do. it's not You, it's just a habit. when you know you are Self, then everything is harmonious and effortless. the Self does, it is under all the imaginary character - if the character isn't real, then it doesn't do, the Self does."
since you are Self, this means you are beyond time and space, body and mind. they're not real. only the character/mind thinks its real, it'll chat forever about how you need to do this and that.
this is because the mind only knows what it knows. it cannot know anything more than what it knows right now. it's a collection of thoughts, feelings and memories that you've collected and turned into a habit. it's a habit to go back to the memories as a reference point. its a habit to identify with thoughts that come into your awareness. when you stop the habit and don't identify as the character, it goes away.
abt the body: well when you dream, you might still think. you feel the body and all, all the sensations. it feels real enough. then you wake up. you didn't take the physical body into the dream did you? you just felt the sensation of having one. doesn't this mean it's a bunch of sensations, just like a thought in the mind is?
also the mind can affect the body (e.g. nervous feeling -> sweaty palms). the thought or feeling rising into awareness, the mind takes note and ownership "i'm nervous, my hands are sweaty", affecting the body. if the unreal mind can affect something, then is that thing also not unreal?
(try to observe the thoughts or feelings next time without attaching a story to it or resisting it. see whether it goes away quicker. being able to accept the present moment is essential for this)
extra note - you as Self is also imagining the concepts of manifesting and shifting (and all the concepts related e.g. states, 3d, persisting etc).
thinking they the reason why you can get what you want IS FALSE. THOSE ARE YOUR OWN CREATIONS, ARE YOU GOING TO CREATE SOMETHING OUT OF YOUR OWN CREATIONS? [choroukgod]

so, you know now the reality of who you are and not to identify with the imaginary, lets talk about the desire.
desires are born out of not knowing who you are. if you think you're the body-mind then several hundred concepts are needed to be taken into account to just live.
another snippet
"all these memories, feelings, thoughts and subsequent stories create desires and fears. the mind will try and protect itself and plan for stuff, but it can't. because it's so limited in knowledge & power."
the character wants the desire because of the story it has, the feeling. usually of happiness, love, joy. what you don't know is that that's your standard way of being. so you search everywhere.
the characters main motivation is to find the truth and happiness, underneath the searching is the belief 'i am not okay' or 'i am not enough', which leads to several needs & fears but importantly, need of control, especially of the future. it refuses to sit in the present moment.
desire is completely fine actually, its the attachments to it that make it hurtful. when you don't understand that desire is just another passing sensation, you, as the character, think you NEED it and will not stop until you get it, or you suffer.
you think that theres a world to control. you think that its outside of you. you think that there is a physical world. you're missing the most important info of all: all is Self. all is consciousness. all is awareness. whatever you wanna say. all is you, theres nothing to manipulate now. theres nothing to force now. its all unreal. you as Self, are imagining to be a human with desires that now has to change stuff that they think is real! how exhusting! you don't even need to change yourSelf, Self is perfect!

there's nothing to do.
Self is all. Self is whole. Self is perfect. Self is who you actually are.
there's no transition to Self. you already are that. it's letting go of all the concepts of limitations that is a transition. - i don't remember who said this, maybe lester levenson?
manifesting is not the point. the point is to be free! it's to recognise your true self! not just to feel better or okay .. to BE freedom, to BE peace, love etc. do you want to keep going into imagination to fufilll yourself all the time? you don't have to if you understand that you are fulfillment, you are whole already.
the "world" changing can't sway you because you are complete as you are, when you manifest with the intention to fulfil the desire so you 'physically' get it - you're only gonna feel full when you get the thing .. and then it goes. things cannot fulfil you. what would happen if the clothes get shredded by a dog? your happiness goes. why? why would you place your happiness on a thing that is FINITE?
being in the present moment is best. its literally the only way you live. you can't see into the past or future, there is only now.
The best place to grow is right where you are. The best time is now.
when you're worrying abt the future, you're thinking more. when you're worrying abt the past, more thoughts. in the present moment, you slow down and see what is in front of you now.
when you get caught up in the mind, you can stop yourself halfway (or even after it happens) and go "oh the mind was doing ...", then you start to pick up how much your mind wanders back or forwards. you start to pick up how limiting the thoughts are when you remind yourself that you are not the body or mind. with the understanding that the mind is imaginary -> no need to listen or identify with what's happening. it just is. feelings or emotions that come up into awareness cannot do anything. you are never disconnected from Self.
'oh i want to go [x] but i have to buy a plane ticket and get this and that...' -> if you are not the body-mind you don't have to worry about physically travelling anywhere, you are beyond time and space naturally. you don't have to prepare anything either, the mind wants to plan, but Self is harmonious and all, so whatever you 'need' will come to you. lester actually did this once.
"With full confidence that “everything is A-okay and taken care of,” I packed a bag and walked out of the house."
when you catch yourself in the moment: release and disidentify. you can just disidentify with it immediatly if you want to.
to release a belief or emotion (probs also desires) (sedona method):
welcome the feeling.  it doesn’t have to be strong. it is what it is. ask yourself: Could I let it go? Would I let it go? When? then, remembering that you are not the body-mind, answer. deep breath in and out, let relief come if you feel it. read the link for more.
when you ask yourself, “Could I let this feeling go?”,  remind yourself that you can let any emotion go, like dropping an object. when you ask yourself, “Would you let the feeling go?”, consider whether you would you rather hold on to pain, stress, and suffering, or, would you rather be free? when you ask yourself, “When?”, what you’re doing is creating an invitation to do it now
it can take some courage depending on the emotion, the character'll want to run away. but sit in the present moment and observe the feelings. ignoring and suppresing is not healthy. the focus is to keep releasing the feeling when it comes up. you can also coax the feelings up yourself.
to disidentify: well, just don't identify with it. just go "oh that's a thought". maybe remember your Self. maybe say 'on this path i constantly give up trouble' and move on. a simple knowing that that is not You, is enough.
surrender. i used to be scared of surrender bcs i thought it'd mean i have to let go of control and i'd get nothing! or just the same thing or worse! i was scared, i as the character was in full force. then some days past and i calm down (and lowkey give up), then i get some experience where it feels like i'm saying 'yes you ARE your true Self, its natural!!' to myself. something happens w/ 0 effort and i'm never suprised tbh (i used to be), it only grows my faith in mySelf. i promise you when you go 'f it idk whats gonna happen, it'll be fine' it'll be okay. but first you need to understand who you are. you trust your Self and just release the stories that tell you you aren't, that you are stuck, that you haven't got it, that you aren't fulfilled etc.
let me rephrase that bcs ppl saying "just believe!" used to piss me off: surrender it all. just stop. on this path you constantly give up trouble. you give up entertaining thoughts that make you feel bad. stop getting annoyed at yourself. stop beating yourself up. stop trying. just let yourself relax. if you want to do something, do it so you can feel better rather than to fix, manipulate, control etc.

Self is perfection, you are not surrendering to get worse, you are surrendering to perfection. Absolute Perfection. your mind only knows like 20 years (less or more!) of experience, in only one way of being. to your Self, there is all.
if theres anything to "do" its recognising stories of limitation and releasing/disidentifying as them.
(although surrendering is put last here. it is actually the first step. it might even be the only step)

change this world. change this ego to a 'better ego'. reprogram your mind. keep persisting. get 1 million dollars, feed the body, beauty, correcting beliefs, loving family, work on mental health, exercise, freedom (human vers).

freedom. things gogoolplex beyond what the mind could ever think of. being peace, love, happiness, joy. thoughts and body only when you want. pure effortlessness. be a cat. be as small as an atom. be in a void. no food. or eat all the 'fictional' food. infinity. all the things from the first paragraph if you like.

Lester: Well, when I got out of bed I was identifying with the body; that’s why it pained so. But the moment I didn’t, everything was all right. I’d stand up and the body would do anything. Now, this is a test of your spiritual level. This is much higher. This is being not the body.
Q: How can the body be imperfect? You said before that your body is a reflection of your mentality. If you know that there’s only perfection, how can you have an imperfect body?
Lester: At first I identified with the body, and then after a few minutes I did not. Do you want me to come down a step or do you want me to stay where I am?
Q: All right, go ahead and stay up where you are.
Lester: A perfect body is not the highest state. A body is a limitation, even when it’s perfect. It’s a perfect body. It’s still a body, but perfect. A higher state is not being the body.
So, again, it’s a matter of level. But because we’re into a level that is high, I’ve got to stay up there. Be not the body. Be what you really are. Be infinite. Perfection is not a perfect body: perfection is absolute perfection. Although you have a tendency to bring it down to perfect things. Perfection does not relate to things. No thing is perfect. Every thing is a thing of limitation. So, the top state, the absolute, is a state of no things. It’s just beingness, or pure consciousness, pure awareness—the top state. That’s not being a thing, a body—it’s just being.

all lester is saying is to see how limited the body is, look at all the concepts related to it and ask yourself if you truefully want to deal with it all. all those stories and concepts surrounding the body and mind - beauty, health, mental health, intelligence, death etc, do you want to deal with it? even after being told you are not it?
you're not getting rid of the body when you are free. all the attachments to the stories being severed - is freedom. at least choose to deal with the stories if you want, with your life, happiness and worth not being tied to it.
i cannot express this enough: do you want your desires or do you want to be free? do you want the truth, or do you want the desires?
if you want the desire, thats fine. be honest with yourself, it'll save you time.

Fear is an invitation to remember who you truly are.
Acknowledging fear doesn’t make you any less worthy of or further away from what you truly desire. In fact, because you possess such fear, you are entitled to receive them. True fearlessness is not the reduction of fear, but befriending fear.
Similarly, acknowledging your shadows does not dim the Light that you are. In previous discourse, I’ve shared that you are the Light in which everything appears, shining with the same brightness, behind and in the midst of all experience – good, bad or indifferent. The shadows you battle against are simply the seeming absence of you. Becoming entangled in the world of shadows is simply the forgetting of your Self; and Light casts shadows that come and go only to remember itself.
The truth is that Light knows no opposition or enemy. Shadows have no separate existence from Light. Your fears are made of you. So when you neglect and numb fear, you neglect your true nature too.
So when are you equating the remembrance of you true nature to neglecting the shadows that you cast?
When are you equating true freedom to fear of your human experience?
When are you equating love to apathy? Creation to control?
When are you placing conditions on the unconditional?
Being in state of the wish fulfilled is not numbing one polarity of and pretending to be beyond your human experience. Learning about who you truly are is not about pretending to be transcendent or fearless, or beyond the shadows.
You don’t need to become disengaged with life in order to manifest your desires. ‘Buying the pearl’ is not about detaching from your human experience, devoid of passion, feeling and emotion, but rather answering your calling to full observation and participation of it, no matter what is happening.
Embodying your true Self concerns more than just manifesting your desires. Conscious creation is a part of conscious living - a way of being no matter what circumstances may arise. A way of seeing through the illusory division in yourself and everything around you. Remembering your interconnected nature with your world and the sacred relationships that sustain life is what allows vulnerable involvement in your fleeting experience. Unconditionally allowing the presence of fear promises true fearlessness.
So befriend fear. Become vulnerable and intimate with this aspect of yourself once again, for it has no authority over you and can never truly overwhelm you. Get up close and personal with fear and rediscover your true nature – that which is fearless.
When you feel fear, drop the label ‘fear’, even for just a moment.
Unconditionally feel the sensations, the energy in your body. Observe and describe the sensations. Does it tickle? Is it warm?
Where is the feeling physically located? In your stomach? In your throat? In your chest?
As you observe these sensations in your body, be kind to them, become intimate with them. Ask yourself: What is it like to feel this way?
Continue to observe and allow all of your stories, thoughts and emotions, resistance and judgements. Watch them appear and disappear, appear and disappear.
Embody Light, and become once again non-resistant to all of the shadows you cast.
When you stop numbing any feeling, negative or positive, you remember that your true Self is a friend to everything.
When you create space in your heart for fear to freely arise and fall in you, you will rediscover that you have no enemies.

these actions go beyond manifesting. you let the mind dictate everything. you let it control everything.
lester said "all thought is a thought of limitation."
this is because the mind only knows what it knows. it cannot know anything more than what it knows right now. it can't access infinite intelligence. that's why it'll try to project into the future, and make plans. but it doesn't truly know. all it does is give suggestions based off the past.
it is a combination of identity based off feelings, thoughts and memories that is collected and turned into a habit.
let's do a thought experiment: think of another person, whose born in another city, with or without a religion, in another culture. think of the thoughts they're having. the memories. what they might feel. they're habits, tendencies, attachments, aversions. see how the mind is different. if the mind is easily swayed by CHANGE OF LOCATION then why would you see what it says as real??
it identifies as & goes off memories, even ones from when you were 4. stuff that's not happening NOW.
it identifies as & goes off feelings, which the story of it is used to judge or try to fix it etc.
it identifies as & goes off thoughts, which is just not a good idea lol.
it'll identify w/ the thought or feeling and create stories to go with it and judges itself on whether its 'correct' or whatever based on what it thinks it should be. it upholds itself, the image it thinks it has & the image it wants. it thinks its REAL. that's why when you, the observer, stop taking it so seriously, it disappears by itself. when you just watch the stories and not identify with it, then it leaves by itself.
all these memories, feelings, thoughts and subsequent stories create desires and fears. the mind will try and protect itself and plan for stuff, but it can't. because it's so limited in knowledge & power.
the last thing as to what it's made up of is beliefs, the beliefs you have are not organic. they are not generated by the mind alone. it's ideas from others. your parents shoved a bunch of concepts into your mind. these concepts have been passed down through generations. these concepts are extremely old. some relatively new. but not now.
all these concepts are the ones that have survived since the birth of humans. you are holding a part of 300k years worth of concepts. 300,000 year old concepts.

i've thought about how to explain what you'll feel when you're Self.
i used to think of it as "it's as you are now but you see the world differently vs it's love + bliss"
but i think both of them can exist. nothing is gonna change except your attitude and understanding of the world. with that understanding comes the love and peace. but maybe instead of some high, it might just be a background feeling for you.
going back to my first point, i think that you look for something to be enlightened. like you're trying to enlighten the mind or body? which you can't do...
this isn't about adding on anything. there's no adding on the experience of enlightenment on to the achievements of the person.
