I've made a cup of tea during every caution, I'm now surrounded by an empty mug graveyard - the real loser in this race is me doing the washing up later

In Laguna Seca 2013, Alberto Puig got mad with Dani Pedrosa for skipping the FP1 due to the track being wet. Dani explained that he raced with the left broken collarbone holding by a threat after a crash he had in Germany 5 days previous.
Initially, Dani was going to skip that Grand Prix, but in the last minute he decided to go. He talked with the engineers and explained that he didn't know if could race in all-left circuit with the left collarbone broken. Dani's plan was to skip all mornings practices (FP1, FP3 and warm-up) because he knew due to previous experience (2008 with a left wrist) that he wouldn't have enough force to do all weekend.
That decision created a disconformity on the team.
That decision paid off because he finished in P5 with Jorge Lorenzo finishing in P6 with also a broken collarbone.
