🚌 С утра ездил в Хайфу в Информационный центр при Любавическом Центре Хабад (центр русскоязычных евреев), что находится по адресу Герцель, 56. Там консультировался по поводу заполнения кое-каких документов. Сказали, что если будет необходима помощь для заполнения и подачи документов в какие-либо инстанции, то можно обращаться. Да и помимо этого хотелось с кем-то поговорить и поделиться своей историей, так как живого общения очень мало за эти два месяца; и мне реально не хватает разговоров... 😅 Когда тяжело, и Ульпан обилием слов, новых букв с огласовками и выражений выбивает твою нервную систему из колеи... - поговори с морем и успокойся 😊 Главное, не заплывать за буйки 😄 . Программа посильная. Понимание есть. Задания на текущий момент делаем. Делаем упорно 😐 Конечно, Егор вносит весомые коррективы в продуктивность. С Егором приходится много спать. Так как сон - залог отсутствия приступов эпилепсии. А Егор очень возбудим и зачастую тормозов из-за усталости у него нет. . С утра Таня отправляет Егора в садик (сажает на развозку), поэтому опаздывает минут на 20 каждый день. Скоро опять подойдут очереди Егора к врачам: зубной, невролог, УЗИ и т д и т п. Будем по очереди возить. Недавно в гуманитарном центре взял одежды. Наконец-то, можно походить и красаучегом в рубашке 😎 Да, кстати, у нас похолодало. Сегодня было +28 днём, +18 ночью. А на завтра обещают днём +26 🥶 🤣 . В Ульпане на сегодня прошли весь алфавит печатные/прописные буквы с огласовками. 194 карточки иврит-алеф у меня уже написаны в колоде ANKI. ➡️ SAFE TO GO TO SYNAGOGUE? - Follow instructions of Homefront Command and your City!

— HIGH Risk - only go to a synagogue that has, or preferably is in, a shelter. Otherwise pray at home.

— MEDIUM Risk - best to only go to a synagogue that has or is near a shelter. Where is it? Have a ‘when there is a siren’ plan in mind.

— LOW Risk - there will possibly be sirens, what’s your plan? Have one or choose another synagogue.

➡️ PLAN YOUR SHELTER PATH TO/FROM SYNAGOGUE - If an alert goes off en route, where will you go to be protected if on the way?

➡️ IN SYNAGOGUE, WHERE IS THE SHELTER? Does it have capacity? - If an alert goes off in synagogue, KNOW where you will go. Walk over and check the path and capacity.

➡️ ARE YOU SLOW? - In High Risk areas, stay home. Medium and Low risk, have a plan if there is a siren.

➡️ CHILDREN? Discuss with your children what to do in case there is a siren. Leave young children at home in High risk areas.

➡️ CARRY YOUR WEAPON.

— If you have a gun license, it is a MITZVAH to carry your gun on Shabbat, even without an eruv.

— Try to have AT LEAST one armed person in every synagogue.

— Have Pepper spray? Or a Knife (small size, approx. width of palm, as allowed by law)? Carry it - we all remain at risk of terror attacks. (Note pepper spray, knives etc will not be allowed to enter govt offices, hospitals, malls or any security controlled site, and your workplace may require you to register.)

➡️ IF SIRENS, SHELTER EVEN IF IN AMIDAH

— If sirens are heard in the middle of the Amidah, one must go to the shelter. After, restart Amidah from the beginning (others rule to start from where you stopped).

— Can’t get to shelter, LAY DOWN, all the way, hands on head (reduces risk by 80%).

— As per Homefront Command, wait AT LEAST 5 minutes (Homefront says 10) before exiting shelter or getting up.

➡️ HAVE A PHONE AVAILABLE

— Every synagogue needs a PHONE ON for immediate use on Shabbat. And with a red alert app in case it is hard to hear sirens.

— You may carry and keep a cell phone on in your pocket. Set to silent, and set red alert apps to “override silent mode”.

➡️ DO NOT HESITATE TO CALL POLICE !! - If anything suspicious, CALL POLICE immediately! Dial 100

➡️ ALL INSTRUCTIONS FROM HOME FRONT COMMAND and your City must be strictly obeyed. If instructed to shut yourself in, do not leave the house even for prayer.

Despite the controversial legislation remaining, Kasem Bakri is steadfast. “I exist here as an Arab person and I have the right to be here,” he said. “Palestinians exist here like the cactus and the olive trees. We will never be gone from here.”

JERUSALEM

In November of last year, an Israeli judge invoked the controversial Jewish Nation-State Basic Law when striking down a lawsuit against the city of Karmiel over funding transportation for two Palestinian students.

In his ruling, the chief registrar of the Krayot Magistrate’s Court, Yaniv Luzon, said that establishing an Arabic-language school in Karmiel or funding transportation for Palestinian Arab students would “damage the city’s Jewish character” and may encourage Palestinian citizens of Israel to move into Jewish cities, thereby “altering the demographic balance.”

Luzon cited Section 7 of Israel’s Jewish Nation-State Law, writing:

The development and establishment of Jewish settlement is a national value enshrined in the Basic Law and is a worthy and prominent consideration in municipal decision-making, including the establishment of schools and the determination of policies relating to the funding of [school] busing [of students] from outside the city.

The students’ father, Kasem Bakri, said of the judge’s decision, “The municipality treats my sons as guests in the best of times and as enemies in the worst of times.” The family was fined 2,000 shekels (roughly €508.24) and ordered to pay all of the court’s expenses.

The court ruling came just before a Supreme Court hearing on 15 petitions submitted by human rights organizations and Palestinian political leaders challenging the Nation-State Law in December. After only one discussion on the law, the high court last week rejected the petitions and upheld the 2018 law in a 10 to 1 decision. The single dissenting opinion was from the only Palestinian justice on the court, Justice George Kara.
