Pete gets reminded of a time when heroes and villains existed in his world
Since the Secret Santa Tumblr event has officially been concluded, I'm super happy to share the gift I created for the lovely @artfreaksmeout. Thank you so much for giving me the excuse to write this, I am so thankful and relieved you liked it!
The idea for this one came to me as a result of seeing this post made by @vegasandhishedgehog, so thanks for the brainworms, I appreciate it :3
Huge, huge, HUGE thanks to my lovely beta @wretchedamaranth without whom I wouldn't have even managed to conclude this weird, little fic. I am super grateful for your help in the form of suggestions, edits, grammar corrections and long, thorough meta discussions about our boy. It was painful, it was a blast, I wouldn't have had it any other way <3

So I don't know how to un-anonymous this, but it's my contribution to the KPTS Secret Santa! It was for the lovely @zelenchai whose art I'm now obsessed with. It's made the series of my Soulmates AU with VegasPete's first fight. I hurt my own feelings writing this, but it has a happy ending a promise!

How it works
You MUST have a Tumblr, AO3 optional
Sign up with what you want to make ( e.g. fic or fanmix)
Choose what you’d like to receive (e.g. gifsets or drawings)
List all of your fave ships, likes and dislikes

THE KPTS SECRET SANTA 2023 POSTING SCHEDULE :)
It’s Christmas Eve!! \o/
Hope everyone is excited to see some KPTS-themed gifts? I KNOW I AM :D
The gifts will be tagged with #kptssanta23 and the #username of whomever the gift is meant for! This way everyone hopefully should be able to “find” their gift(s) quite easily :) I added the @ username thing too, but it didn’t work for everyone who’s participating.
The gift-posting is scheduled to commence at 10PM GMT (four hours from now ;) and should automatically go on until it runs out some time early Christmas Day morning, with new gifts posted every 15 minutes :D
Everyone is getting gifts ! *throws confetti* Thanks to a couple of amazing Christmas Angels that have graciously stepped in to pinch-hit for some last minute gifts <333
