KONSTRUNDAN Takahuhdin taidekeskuksessa – Ilai Elias Lehto & Sanni Saari

KONSTRUNDAN 2022 3.-4.9.2022 11-17

Vuosittain yhtenä syyskuun viikonloppuna taiteen, käsityön ja muotoilun ammattilaiset avaavat ovensa yleisölle. Kohteita on avoinna ympäri Suomea. Tampereen Taiteilijaseuran ylläpitämä Takahuhdin Taidekeskus sijaitsee n.5 km Tampereen keskustasta Takahuhdissa. Kaupin Kampuksen ratikkapysäkiltä kulkee bussi numero 16 IRJALA, jonka päätepysäkki on Taidekeskuksen naapurissa. Lisäksi Teiskontien bussipysäkiltä on kävelymatka Taidekeskukselle. Taidekeskuksen parkkipaikalla on paikkoja vierailijoille. Taidekeskuksen taiteilijoista Konstrundaniin osallistuvat tänä vuonna Ilai Elias Lehto ja Sanni Saari. Tervetuloa vierailulle!

ILAI ELIAS LEHTO Piirustus, Tekstiili, Veistos, ÄänitaideOlen kuvanveistäjä ja runoilija. työskentelen tekstiilitaiteen, piirustuksen, installaation ja äänen parissa. Tunnistettavimpia tekniikoitani on villahuovutus ja tilalliset installaatiot, joissa isoa osaa näyttelevät erilaiset pehmeät materiaalit, kuten esim. kierrätetyt pehmolelut. Tutkin taiteessani erilaisia kulutukseen ja identiteettiin liittyviä ilmiöitä. Viimeisimmät projektini koskettavat kulutustavaroiden kiertokulkua, mieheyden traumaattisuutta, seksuaali- ja sukupuoli-identiteettejä.

SANNI SAARI Installaatio, Valokuva, Valotaide, Video- ja mediataide, ÄänitaideOlen kuvataiteilija (s. 1990 Raumalla) ja työskentelen valokuvan, videon, installaation ja äänen parissa. Olen valmistunut kuvataiteilijaksi Tampereen ammattikorkeakoulusta 2017 ja parhaillaan viimeistelen opintojani taiteen maisteriksi Aalto-yliopistossa valokuvataiteen koulutusohjelmassa. Viimeaikaisissa projekteissani olen käsitellyt pölyn materiaalisuutta, digitaalisen kuvan heijastamista sekä hetken ja taiteen väliaikaisuutta.

21th of april 2019 was a sunday, five years later it’s a sunday again. I was out looking at art; konstrundan Österlen is a thing every year. I can't explain how it felt to see this painting. It so strongly feels like me and Thomas. It was such a comforting find, but I was also so close to break down crying by the sight. I showed it to Lullaby coming home and she loved it too. It was the last year that the painter showed her art at the former monastery. There's never art there anymore.

Emma Lindstrom UNIT 6

 Lindstrom is and artist born in 1989, she currently lives and works in Sweden.

"The major theme I’m pursuing in my work is energy. I’d like to somehow make visible the creative energy that operates in the unknown and unseen, but binds us all together. By letting go of any preconceptions and thought processes when I create, I allow myself to become a mediator of this life giving force. How it expresses itself in my work is however a very subjective matter. One viewer might see something resembling the universe as seen through a telescope, and another something that can be found in a lab, under a microscope. No matter what you see though, it’s more important what you feel. Because that feeling, I believe, is a response to the energy that radiates from the artwork, part of the same energy that flows through me when I create. What can be seen and felt in my artwork are ultimately just different expressions of the same thing, of the same creative energy, and it’s this connection I want to convey through my work.”- Emma Lindstrom.
