Made some real progress on my Youmu cosplay after months of procrastinating on it!

I was originally planning to wear it with a white button down shirt I already own but I seem to have lost it, and I ended up really loving the look of the sleeves of the blouse I used for fitting so I will probably make one in a similar style.

The ghost pattern is just very simple chain stitch embroidery, but it ended up looking really nice!

Touched up an older piece I drew! Our beloved Youmu Konpaku in a cool jacket and sword drawing pose. "Where's her phantom half" you ask? Who do you think took the photo?

Heavy inspiration from artist Tsumaseu (link to their safebooru profile), who sadly doesn't seem to have any of their socials up anymore, be it twitter or pixiv :(

Like Youmu herself, I'd call this piece half-baked, even though I'd say it looks pretty appealing anyway. Self-deprecation? Certainly not, there's just many areas where I could become better. And knowing how much room there is left to improve is exciting, no?

I don't have many coloured pieces like this, even if they're fun to make, my whimsy much prefers messy and quick sketches without much planning. I want to make more, though, and find my style of colouring!
