Hey everyone, play our new game!
youtube
I'm super excited to share that I did the sound design for a brand new game called Knoblins! It's a unique game where you hatch musical creatures and create your own tunes. It's user-friendly and perfect for anyone, whether you're a music pro or just love fun and creative games. The game has a lot of cool features like different stages, customizable knobs for each creature, and even an autoplay mode for endless music. Check it out and support our work. Your feedback is honestly, the biggest benefit for us.
Glad to finally add a video game to my portfolio.

Day 17: Filthy Knoblins
Everyday updates: https://www.instagram.com/vakon/ - Another type of creatures you might encounter in the depths of the City is Knoblins. Yes, they have a relationship with the goblins. But one of the crazy mages thought to “improve” them magically, to get more intelligent servants. Oh, it is good that they are not mixed with the demons. But the goblins are very evil by nature and becoming smarter - they do not become kinder, but, on the contrary became even more filthy! The problem is that they, unlike goblins will not pounce on you the whole crowd - they will build a cunning trap, to lure you into an ambush, to do so that the advantage was on their side! And Yes, they will use magic and magic items! Sure, the first magical things they took from the body of the mad wizard who created them! Well, we face another deadly danger…

Location Title: The Spire (a.k.a. The Nest) in the Mosaic Forest Realm, both named by me.
Geographic Location: Is it’s own liminal realm not connected to earth or anywhere else on the physical plane.
Mode of Travel: I took my stone portal through my personal realm.
Area Open, Closed, or Open Under Condition: Open if you know how to get there.
Terrain: A steep cliff that drops down probably about 100 feet into the ocean next to it. At the bottom of the cliff, before the cliff and water meet, the ocean drops off into a waterfall that falls into a deep abyss. The cliff is lined with forest in both directions as far as I could see.
Flora: Some types of pretty normal looking deciduous bushes and trees.
Fauna: Avions, small, short bird-like creatures, about 1’ tall. They walk up right like a human but are otherwise completely bird and look like a cross between an owl and an eagle. They wear small cloaks and vests for the most part, and use their wings as arms. They have powers of telekinesis and the ability to cause hallucinations and make your mind see things.
Existing Culture Information: The Avions live in a tall mixed stone tower about 10 stories high they call “The Nest” and I named “The Spire”. The Spire is located on the ocean side, on a cliff outcropping to the East of where my portal opens up. Male Avions take on tasks outside of The Spire and females stay inside to take care of The Nest and their young. There are a few exceptions to this but that’s the general rule. They are led by a counsel of the oldest Avions who manage and govern The Spire. Their society is seperated into different hierarchical classes based on which class each Avion is born into. The higher an Avions class the higher they live in the Spire. The highest class (after the counsil, who are the absolute highest) are scavengers and fishers that scour the surrounding seaside and forest for fish, fruit, herbs and small animals to trade with other species in the area. The second class are defenders and warriors who protect The Spire and its inhabitants. The third and lowest class are called The Grubbers. They do the jobs no one else wants to to do and are basically labor-for-hire. Scavenger and Warrior class Avions can hire Grubbers to do odd jobs around The Spire or go out and do their higher ranking jobs when the Scavengers and Warriors don’t feel like it.
Specific Denizens of Note: An old, male Avion I refer to as “The Elder”. He is the current leader of the Avions and head of their counsel. He looks very wisend compared to other Avions and carries a small cane.
Outsider Attitudes: Careful but welcoming.
Population Density: Very dense inside The Spire, as it’s where all the Avions live. No population in the surrounding forest area.
Safety and Known Dangers: The Avions may cause you to hallucinate, showing you dangerous creatures and situations you may have to fight your way out of, as a way of testing you and your integrity. I don’t think these hallucinations can actually cause physical harm but it’s something to prepare for and be mindful of.
Stories and Personal Accounts: I came across the Avions the first time I decided to explore the East side of the Mosaic Forest Realm. I was half expecting to find them because I heard from the Knoblins before they lived on the cliffs to the East, but they were nothing like I imagined. I flew over the forest and came to the cliff, as I landed I saw The Spire and walked over to it. I didn’t see anyone as I explored around it and I called out that I was a friend who only wanted to talk, so if anyone would show themselves it would be much appreciated. After a few seconds of silence I was suddenly attacked by a mass of darkness. I quickly created a fire shield around myself and fought it off. As the mass of darkness faded away, The Elder, followed by a few other Avions, approached me from the near-by forest, explaining they were the source of the darkness and apologizing that they had to use such for to see if I posed a threat to them. The Elder welcomed me inside the Spire after that and he showed me around for a few minutes before taking me up to his nest at the very top of The Spire to talk.

Location Title: Knoblin City in The Mosaic Forest Realm, both names created by me.
Geographic Location: Is a liminal realm not connected to the earth or anywhere else on the physical plane.
Mode of Travel: Through my portal in my personal realm.
Area Open, Closed, or Open Under Condition: Open, if you know how to get there.
Terrain: A huge forest of deciduous trees that spreads in every direction as far as I can tell. The land itself is very flat.
Flora: Some types of pretty normal looking deciduous trees and bushes.
Fauna: Some type of forest/fae sprites that kind of look like miniature versions of gremlins from the Gremlins movie, but with less fur and more humanoid (sounds really weird I know but that’s the best way I can think to describe them). Knoblins, a type of 5 footish tall goblin with gangly limbs, large, pointed noses and chins, greyish/tan wrinkled skin and membrane-like wings that stretch from their wrists to their ankles that they use to glide through caverns and ravines. Mostly dress in dull-looking brown and grey shirts and pants. A large stone-grey serpent named Levorantros. Very large, probably 70+ feet, with large scales and spikes, especially around his head, that almost look like stone. Has dark red eyes and breath that can melt rock. His lower jaw opens into two parts and splits down his belly probably 5-6 feet or so. His whole mouth, the entire way down his stomach, is lined with snaggle-toothed fangs.
Known Culture Information: The Knoblins live underground in a network of caves and tunnels. The only entrance I know of to this network is inside a large ravine that runs through part of the surrounding forest. Inside the ravine is a large network of tunnels and mine shafts, connected through the ravine by lots of rope bridges. The Knoblins mine the tunnels for stone and valuable gems and metals to sell to the surrounding civilizations (apparently there’s several around the area). Their city is in a large cave and although I call it a “city” it’s more a collection of ramshackle stone buildings, roads, rope bridges, and pulley systems. Are skilled craftsmen but are usually too busy mining to put those skills to use.
Specific Denizens of Note: Griswald, a Knoblin. Friendly enough, although there’s nothing particularly remarkable about him as far as Knoblins go. He was just the first one I approached to ask for information and directions. A large serpent named Levorantros. Described above in the “Fauna” category, Levorantros lives in a small side cave connected to the Knoblin City. He protects the Knoblins and their city and, although Knoblins are proficient miners themselves, they’ve made a deal with Levorantros for him to mine their tunnels for them with his stone dissolving breath, and in return for his services, Levorantros gets lodging, hospitality, and food.
Attitudes Towards Outsiders: Not hostile but not super welcoming, the Knoblins honestly seem too busy to notice or care about any outsiders.
Population Density: Very highly populated by Knoblins in the caves and the underground Knoblin City. Knoblins everywhere. Gliding, running, sliding up and down ropes, pushing carts of rocks and minerals all over the city and nearby tunnels.
Safety and Known Dangers: Do not visit if you are hostile and intend to harm any of the Knoblins. They are under protection of Levorantros and he will kill you if you try to harm the Knoblins or cause trouble.
Stories and Personal Accounts: In this world there is a small grass field that my portal opens up to and that’s where I landed as usual. I went to this world to visit a spirit friend of mine but after a few minutes of trying and failing to find him, I decided to explore a different direction. I met a couple sprites who led me in a direction to the south of the portal field and to a large ravine. I saw movement inside and backtracked to investigate. As I flew down inside I saw it was full of Knoblins and I approached one standing on a nearby ledge. I asked him a few questions and he directed me down a tunnel in the direction of the Knoblin City saying “If anyone gives you any hassle, tell ‘em Griswold sent you.” As I went down into the tunnel I saw the sprites that led me there peaking out from behind a ledge, laughing. I went through the tunnel and came out into the Knoblin City. As I walked through the town I didn’t get payed attention to much until, i was greeted by Griswold again who said he followed me to make sure I didn’t cause any trouble. We talked as he led me to the back of the cave and city to large set of ornately carved stone doors. He pushed me inside without much explanation and I was faced by Levorantros. He asked why I was there and I told him I was exploring the area out of curiosity. After he determined I was telling the truth, we had a short conversation and he sent me back outside. Griswold was waiting for me and laughed saying he sent me to meet Levorantros to make sure I was safe because he knew I wouldn’t come out if I was trouble. We talked for a bit longer before parting ways. I left through a rope pulley system that went to the surface.
