So Marvel dropped a plethora of news at SDCC. Release dates and updates on upcoming projects. The reveal of Phases 5, 6 and 7. The reveal of the full slate of projects for Phase 5. The list goes on.
One of the more intriguing tidbits is that there are at least 8 unannounced projects for Phase 6 and four projects already locked for Phase 7. That gives us a total of at least 12 unannounced MCU projects. Today I am going put up what I think these projects could be. I’ll be disregarding any Spider-Man inclusions because Sony is in charge of those rather than Disney.
Let’s get going
An X-MEN/MUTANTS project seeing as SECRET WARS ends Phase 6 and you need the X-Men in that
A THOR sequel to follow up on the Hercules tease and because Taika Waititi would like to complete a trilogy of Thor films
A DOCTOR STRANGE sequel to follow up on the stuff with Clea
ARMOR WARS as it was not brought up in the timeline at SDCC
The rumored NOVA project as a way to keep going with the cosmic side of the MCU
The WONDER MAN project
SHANG-CHI sequel to explore the Ten Rings more
ETERNALS follow up to showcase Starfox
A HERCULES movie that will be set up by the next THOR film because Hercules is too big of a deal to just have as a one off.
A BLACK KNIGHT project because the Ebony Blade deserves to be explored on its own merits. Could either connect to and bring in Captain Britain or do something like Weirdworld that would bring in some really off-kilter inclusions like Crystar, Crystal Warrior
A GHOST RIDER project because it is long overdue and would bring in someone people have been waiting for a long time
and finally
An INHUMANS project because I’m not convinced Disney and Marvel are going to call it quits on them just yet. Could be its own thing or could be tied into something Fantastic Four like it was set up in the comics

Shirogane Noel (白銀ノエル) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, debuting as part of its third generation of VTubers under the name of "hololive Fantasy" (ホロライブファンタジー) alongside Usada Pekora, Uruha Rushia, Shiranui Flare and Houshou Marine.
Introduction Video
Noel's introduction. 【 白銀ノエル初配信】はじめまっする!白銀ノエルですッ!【ホロライブ 新人Vtuber】
Personality
Noel is a clumsy but mostly wholesome knight, with a more girlish voice than her appearance would suggest (though she can pull out a mature older sister voice if the occasion calls for it). Her character archetype is best described as having more muscle than brains; she often streams video games, but is rarely seen actually doing well in them.
Noel's thirst for Shiranui Flare is arguably matched only by Natsuiro Matsuri's thirst for girls in general. She gets jealous if Flare so much as interacts with someone else, and since Flare is somewhat of a chick magnet, this happens very often.
Profile
"Hey muscle! Shirogane Noel's here!"
While she is easy-going, she has a dangerous side where she attempts to solve all her problems with muscle power. As much as this fluffy, meatheaded knight hungers for power, she came to the world of VTubers where all the stronk people are, for training.[2]
History
Background
Her Twitter account was opened on 22 July 2019 while her YouTube channel was created on 26 July. She debuted with her introduction stream on 8 August.[3]
On 14 November, she announced on her Twitter account the debut date of her 3D model,[4] which later debuted during a stream on 17 November,[5] being the first of her generation to get a 3D model.
2020
On 1 January, her YouTube channel got demonetized, she stated on Twitter that this was caused because of her ASMR videos,[6] just like Haato, Choco, Aki and Mel.
On 2 January, she got a kimono as her New Year's oufit, being her second 2D costume overall.[7]
On 24 January along with the other hololive girls up to the third generation, she debuted her 3D idol outfit at hololive's 1st fes. Nonstop Story.[8]
On 31 January, she announced in her Twitter account the remonetization of her channel.[9]
On 16 October, hololive's Twitter account announced that Noel, Houshou Marine, Murasaki Shion and Yuzuki Choco would get new 2D costumes.[10]
On 21 October, Noel debuted her third 2D costume during a stream, a huge contrast compared to her knight outfit, she wears modern casual clothes, she wears black choker with a blue snowflake, a white blouse, with a brown squares skirt, black socks and brown shoes, she also debuted a new air style and as an option she can wear glasses.[11] In addition to this she also got her 2D model updated, with improvements to her facial expressions.[12]
On 5 December, she reached 700,000 subscribers, the 12th member of hololive to do so. On the same day, Nekomata Okayu reached that same threshold.
2021
On 21 January, she reached 800,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel, during an endurance singing stream.[13]
On 6 March, Noel reached 900,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel, during an endurance singing stream.[14]
On 12 April, Noel reached 1,000,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel, during an endurance singing stream, making her the 12th member of hololive to reach that milestone and the 9th member of hololive JP to do so. This makes her the fourth member of hololive Fantasy to reach that milestone as well.
On 31 May, Noel announced on Twitter what in the moment appeared to be a new 2D costume to celebrate World Milk Day.[15]
On 1 June, celebrating the date mentioned before, instead of getting a new outfit, Noel got new accesories for her casual costume, including cow's horns, ears and tail alongside a new set of clothes with a cow pattern and a cowbell.[16]

Events
On 28 January 2020, it was announced on Dengekionline that she would made an appearance in the game Neptunia Virtual Stars as one of the VTuber guest characters alongside Tokino Sora, Roboco, Sakura Miko, Shirakami Fubuki, Minato Aqua, Yuzuki Choco, Inugami Korone and Houshou Marine.[17]
Fans
Her fanbase is officially called "Order of Shirogane" while in Japanese they are called "Shirogane kishi-dan"「白銀騎士団」.
Trivia
Her kanji, Shiro-gane「白銀」, means "white" and "money" individually and generally alludes to silver when put together.
On several occasions when pressed to specify her bust size, Noel has claimed that she is a K-cup. She has also jokingly stated that this stands for "Knight-cup". According to other members of hololive, her avatar's bust size is an accurate depiction of her true size.
She has a large appetite, indicating on several occasions that she enjoys extremely large serving portions when they are available. Fans have commented that this increased caloric intake makes sense considering Noel's height, athletic abilities, and impressive bust size.
Dissatisfied with her own singing ability, she works with a voice coach in hopes of improving her musical talents. According to Noel, her coach is particularly harsh and difficult to impress. However, after hearing Ookami Mio singing during the Toyosu PIT live-event, her voice coach remarked at how talented Mio was, much to Noel's dismay.
Tumblr media
She has seen Kamen Rider Den-O back in her grade school days.[18][19]
During one stream, she mentions that during her school years, she was nicknamed "The Running T*ddy Cow", in reference to her large, absolute bust. As such, she is typically depicted around cow imagery and anything to do with milk, and on occasion baby bottles due to breasts maternal role in feeding. The fact that she has Shiro「白」in her name only strengthens this milky depiction.
She is the seventeenth hololive member to join the official Hololive Subreddit as a moderator.
On February 2021, she and Flare got custom made platinum rings.

Oscars 2021 Predictions and Analysis of Frontrunners
https://ift.tt/3s3HJE1
Perhaps the most surprising thing about the Oscars 2021 nominations is how unsurprising they were. There were course a handful of snubs, from One Night in Miami and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom being left out of the Best Picture category to LaKeith Stanfield surprising awards watchers with a Best Supporting Actor nod thanks to Judas and the Black Messiah (displacing Chadwick Boseman from Da 5 Bloods). But by and large? Things proceeded the way prognosticators pretty much expected.
With the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences picks in, we can see that David Fincher’s Mank is the technical favorite with below the line voters, pushing the Netflix deconstruction of Golden Age Hollywood to eight nominations. These include major nods for Picture, Director and Best Actor (Gary Oldman) and Best Supporting Actress (Amanda Seyfried), but also a lot of technical recognition too in Cinematography, Production Design, Costume, and Makeup and Hairstyling.
Even so, the obvious frontrunner remains Chloé Zhao’s Nomadland, a beautiful film that turns the tragedy of the Great Recession into a bittersweet celebration of American Nomad culture. The Searchlight Pictures release garnered six nominations, including Zhao in the Best Director category and another for Best Picture. Zhao’s directing nod, alongside Emerald Fennell for Promising Young Woman, additionally made history with this being the first time two women were nominated in the Best Director category in the same year.
Meanwhile fans still mourning Chadwick Boseman’s tragic loss, as well as celebrating his tour de force final performance in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, can take some small comfort in the actor being the heavily favored contender in the Best Actor category.
In the end, things proceeded more or less as how the breathless awards race media class hoped it would. All of which raises an interesting question: Will there be any actual surprises then on Oscar night? Well… below is our best, and entirely too early, guess at what will win Best Picture and the other major categories. Be sure to check back here on Oscar night to remind us how wrong we were.
Just for clarity, nominees we want to win will be italicized while the ones we think will win will be bolded. When they’re one in the same, one contender will be italicized and bolded.
Best Picture
The Father Judas and the Black Messiah Mank Minari Nomadland Promising Young Woman Sound of Metal The Trial of the Chicago 7
I’m not sure I can think of a year with a more clear cut and inevitable frontrunner than Nomadland in 2021. There have been other years with dominant frontrunners—almost every year in fact—including several that go on to win, such as Green Book just two award seasons ago. However, there is almost always a counter-narrative that threatens the perceived frontrunner. Sometimes those whisper campaigns unseat the presumptive winner (see La La Land and 1917), and sometimes they don’t. But in the case of Chloé Zhao’s Nomadland there isn’t even a serious challenger.
This in part because Zhao made an extraordinary film which uncannily mixed documentarian filmmaking and its study of real-life American Nomads with narrative storytelling. It’s a trick Zhao has done several times before, including memorably with the Independent Spirit Award winner, The Rider. But here it is done with Oscar favorite in star Frances McDormand, and it draws attention to a whole culture of forgotten (white) Americans. Additionally, Nomadland is opening in a pandemic year where most of the more traditional awards contenders have vacated. The ones that haven’t are mostly being produced by Netflix, including The Trial of the Chicago 7 and Mank. The former might be a real contender for Best Picture under different circumstances, but the Academy is notoriously recalcitrant toward awarding Best Picture to Netflix originals and other streaming efforts. Just ask Roma for more.
Nomadland braved a small theatrical debut ahead of its premiere on Hulu, supporting the theatrical experience during COVID, while Chicago 7 was snubbed a Best Director nomination, suggesting there is some skepticism toward the film among a large wing of Academy voters. Mank, meanwhile, is an acquired taste that appeals to my personal sensibility. But it’s quite cold and less a love letter to the movie industry than a loving middle finger. That fact will probably hurt it in a number of categories, including Best Original Screenplay where it was snubbed today.
Best Director
Thomas Vinterberg, Another Round David Fincher, Mank Lee Isaac Chung, Minari Chloé Zhao, Nomadland Emerald Fennell, Promising Young Woman
While I would vote another way for Best Picture, I am totally onboard with seeing Zhao pick up the Best Director plaudit. Hers is an entirely unique cinematic voice that has successfully blurred the lines of how narrative filmmaking can be conveyed, and she’s done so while cultivating a great sense of empathy in Nomadland. The picture that finds beauty and resilience in a story that could’ve been a tragedy, memorializing the Americans left behind by the Great Recession.
Her groundbreaking techniques make her stand out in her field. Plus, Academy will be acutely self-conscious this year about the disappointing fact that only one other woman, Kathryn Bigelow, has won a Best Director Oscar. So be prepared for Zhao to make that two.
Best Actress
Viola Davis, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom Andra Day, The United States vs. Billie Holiday Vanessa Kirby, Pieces of a Woman Frances McDormand, Nomadland Carey Mulligan, Promising Young Woman
Carey Mulligan is phenomenal in Emerald Fennell’s Promising Young Woman. Acerbic but devastating, guarded but vulnerable, and equal parts righteous and occasionally terrifying, she provides a multifaceted turn unlike anything else we’ve seen from the now twice-nominated actor. Previously she was recognized for her ingénue breakout in An Education, but now as an adult thespian, she’s a true revelation. That narrative will appeal to Academy voters, especially as they tend to favor younger actresses in the lead category. Frances McDormand is a famous exception to that rule, but McDormand has two Oscars already, and one is for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri from only three years ago. Also Mulligan is much more keen on playing the awards season campaign game.
Admittedly, Andra Day won for Best Actress in a Drama at the Golden Globes … but the Globes are always going to be their own thing (ask Jodie Foster for more). And while Day is wonderful in The United States vs. Billie Holiday, that movie’s more meager quality is going to be an albatross.
Best Actor
Riz Ahmed, Sound of Metal Chadwick Boseman, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom Anthony Hopkins, The Father Gary Oldman, Mank Steven Yeun, Minari
In his final performance, Chadwick Boseman is heartbreaking and utterly riveting. All strained bravado and barely masked desperation, his Levee is cool to a tragic fault in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. The film he occupies, based on the August Wilson play of the same name, enjoys its contrasts about Black artists navigating white dominated industries. But while Viola Davis’ charismatic turn is above the title, the B-side to her story as embodied by Levee is where the film’s ghosts wait. And they stayed with me long after the Netflix film ended.

Promising Young Woman: Director Emerald Fennell Breaks Down the Ending
By Rosie Fletcher
Boseman deserves a posthumous Oscar for his turn—which would make him only the third performer to win one after Peter Finch for Network and Heath Ledger for The Dark Knight—and he’ll almost certainly get it on Oscar night.
Best Supporting Actress
Maria Bakalova, Borat Glenn Close, Hillbilly Eleg Olivia Colman, The Father Amanda Seyfried, Mank Youn, Yuh-jung, Minari
Conventional wisdom says Olivia Colman will win Best Supporting Actress for The Father. The Academy certainly likes her, having awarded her Best Actress two years ago for The Favourite, and the Academy also has a history of being more lenient on relative back-to-back Oscars in the Supporting category, unlike the historical precedents in the leading actor categories. However, I’m taken by the relative lack of consensus-building around Colman to date. Granted the Golden Globes denied Colman in favor of Jodie Foster, whose performance wasn’t even recognized by the Oscars this year. But the Critics Choice Awards also overlooked Colman while providing Maria Bakalova with a surprise win for Borat: Subsequent Moviefilm.
Precedent should still make me wary of picking Bakalova to win the award. After all, it’s a comedic performance which the Academy usually shies away from. However, this comedic turn was so good, it was able to expose Rudy Giuliani to be a creep with his hand down his pants in front of the world. That will appeal to Academy voters, especially after a year like 2020. Meanwhile my personal choice—Amanda Seyfried’s understated but wholly authentic restoration of Marion Davies’ image after Citizen Kane—may suffer from just a general apathy toward that film’s demeanor, at least from above the line voters. Her snub by her peers at the SAG Awards unfortunately speaks poorly of her chances.
Best Supporting Actor
Sacha Baron Cohen, The Trial of the Chicago 7 Daniel Kaluuya, Judas and the Black Messiah Leslie Odom Jr., One Night in Miami Paul Raci, Sound of Metal LaKeith Stanfield, Judas and the Black Messiah
Daniel Kaluuya’s performance in Judas and the Black Messiah is a sweltering achievement. With limited screen time—despite being the ostensible messiah of the film’s title—Kaluuya is searing as the Black Panther Party Chairman who created the Rainbow Coalition and was hounded to his death by the FBI through illegal means. I’m also partial to Sacha Baron Cohen’s turn in The Trial of the Chicago 7 where he showed a more sardonic range as a counterculture activist in the Windy City. But even I’ll concede his performance isn’t the one folks will probably be quoting for years to come.
Best Original Screenplay
Judas and the Black Messia Minari Promising Young Woman Sound of Metal The Trial of the Chicago 7
Traditionally the Screenplay categories are where Academy voters tend to recognize the more challenging outside-the-mainstream Best Picture nominees they don’t want to give the top prize to. Ergo, it’s a great place for Emerald Fennell to pick up an award for Promising Young Woman. The movie is too candy colored bleak and light hearted in its tragedies to garner enough Academy support in Best Picture, but its originality will be awarded here.
Best Adapted Screenplay
Borat 2 The Father Nomadland One Night in Miami The White Tiger
I suspect the love for Nomadland will continue in the Adapted Screenplay category with Zhao picking up another Oscar. While the screenplay is quite brilliant, I personally feel the movie’s greater achievement is in its visual storytelling and melding of real stories with a broader fictional narrative. Whereas Kemp Powers’ adaptation of his own play is magnificent. There is a fair criticism to be made that Powers couldn’t fully escape the stageniess of his original conceit about spending a night in a motel room with Malcolm X, Muhammad Ali, Sam Cooke, and Jim Brown. But the acute intelligence of his dialogue, and the way it cuts to the tensions of Black responsibility juxtaposed with soft American power, is as potent as it is finally exciting.
Best Cinematography
Judas and the Black Messiah Mank News of the World Nomadland The Trial of the Chicago 7
I suppose I’m predicting a sweep for Nomadland, which in some ways will be earned. In others it may not, such as if Sean Bobbitt’s cinematography in Judas and the Black Messiah.
Best Film Editing
The Father Nomadland Promising Young Woman Sound of Metal The Trial of the Chicago 7
Film editing should be the one category Aaron Sorkin’s The Trial of the Chicago 7 has locked up. With a breathless pace executed in nervy style by Alan Baumgarten, The Trial of the Chicago 7 makes dialogue exchanges out to be as exciting as any special effects-heavy set piece.
Best Costume Design
Emma. Mank Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom Mulan Pinocchio
I suspect Costumes will be one area where Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom receives some technical applause by the Academy. However, I think the pastel and historically accurate designs in Autumn de Wilde’s meticulously designed Emma. shouldn’t go overlooked.
Best Production Design
The Father Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom Mank News of the World Tenet
The amount of painstaking research and effort that went into so minutely recreating 1930s Hollywood in David Fincher’s Mank is undeniable. While I am expecting largely a shutout for my favorite film of last year, this will be one place where Mank will not go ignored.
Best Makeup and Hairstyling
Emma Hillbilly Elegy Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom Mank Pinocchio
Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom can win for Viola Davis’ immersive transformation into the Mother of the Blues alone.
Best Original Score
Da 5 Bloods Mank Minari News of the World Soul
It stands to reason that Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross will pick up another Oscar for the score of Soul, which will also mark the first one for co-writer Jon Batiste. This would be a happy outcome, but if I’m honest the Emile Mosseri score of Minari touched me more.
Best Animated Feature Film
Onward Over the Moon A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon Soul Wolfwalkers
It’s another open and shut year for Pixar thanks to Soul. There’s of course a case to be made for Wolfwalkers, which was a beautiful work of art that’s actually hand drawn. But it’s an open secret that most Academy voters (sadly) do not watch all the animated nominees, and pick solely from the Pixar/Disney catalog. And Soul really is one of the best Pixar films in quite a while so…
Best Visual Effects
Love and Monsters The Midnight Sky Mulan The One and Only Ivan Tenet
There is precedent for the Academy to award less than deserving films in this category simply because the winner is associated with a more popular movie in above the line categories. However, none of the above the line darlings were visual effects heavy this year, and for whatever you might think about Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, there is no denying its visual wizardry is astounding, from the stunt work that sees men bungie jumping upwards to having in-camera effects happening simultaneously in different time streams. So the movie that wanted to “save cinema” may not be entirely overlooked by the industry on Oscar night.

Rider Die:  Life Insurance for Megan Thee Stallion
Saturday November 11.21.2020     Megan Thee Stallion, I know very little about.
Tumblr media
But her relevance to this keyword RIDER aka RYDER just upped the ante for  Corona Election Apocalypse poker.  She just may be one of the 4 horseman of Revelation 6:8 ‘s last days, well in this case, she rides the green or pale horse. DEATH is it’s name and followed by Hades, King of Underworld.
Tumblr media
Her 11.19. 2019 music video “Ride or Die,” fits into the Rider matrix that seems to exist in November releases which includes Tangled and Alex Rider recently streaming on 11.11.2020 on Amazon Prime.  Note that the release rode along the day of the Corona Patient Zero in Wu Han, China and International War Games at the same place.  Also 11.19 is 9111 reversed. Mirror image of that day.  Cherish the Day also released with these numbers and basically spell out the plan 8 years ahead of the event.
Tumblr media
It’s an unassuming name.  Rider.  To be a rider on a moving vehicle that is going somewhere,  arriving at a destination.  Taking a ride for amusement, or sexual pleasure, or toward duty as a warrior on a trusted steed is a universal experience; we are all riders. So why is it chilling to see that the movies on the top of collage are all linked to the US 11.3.2020 Presidential Election?  Why do these ryders/riders relate to crime, money, brutality, espionage, and the sacrificing of lives?  All of these “riders” are wanted.  Sought after, targeted.
Like U-Haul, Ryder rents you a van or truck for moving/boxing up things.  As seen in Cherish the Day by Sade, released on  9.11.1993,  after the helicopter hits the building there is a sequence of events and a Ryder van seen prominently.  The visual just never sat well and seemed too random.  But not anymore.
Tarot Card deck by Rider Waite Smith over a hundred years ago illustrated the major arcana Death 13 card with rider on a horse.  XIII.  Endings and beginnings.
Tumblr media
Ride or Die. Sounds like Rider Die which brings us to life/death insurance...  In the above movies, the spoiler is, Rider usually dies in the end.  With Incredibles being the exception, at least directly.  Many Supers die in this so called children’s Disney movie franchise.  And it is remarkable to mention that Mr. Incredible is an insurance employee in the first movie and an insurance risk in the second.
Understanding Riders Insurance Term  Some policyholders have specific needs not covered by standard insurance policies, so riders help them create insurance products that meet those needs. Insurance companies offer supplemental insurance riders to customize policies by adding varying types of additional coverage. The benefits of insurance riders include increased savings from not purchasing a separate policy and the option to buy different coverage at a later date. https://www.investopedia.com/terms/r/rider.asp
Tumblr media
“Riders are purchased separately from health insurance policies. Riders can be added for many conditions or ailments. Pregnancy and indemnity riders are the most popular.  Riders can be used to add or eliminate coverage from a policy.”https://www.healthinsuranceproviders.com/what-are-health-insurance-riders/#:~:text=To%20put%20it%20simply%2C%20a%20rider%20is%20an,designed%20to%20provide%20applicant%E2%80%99s%20the%20coverage%20they%20need.
Etymology Online finds that a rider (n.)"one who rides," Old English ridere "rider, trooper, knight, mounted warrior," agent noun from ride (v.). Meaning "clause tacked on to a document after first draft" is from 1660s.
So this Sibill blog does follow the money by using clues from life to divine answers to real life answers. After all money means warnings of future danger. Look into purchasing insurance riders which help you and loved one save money in the long run.
I was saddened to learn that the  young lady, Megan Thee Stallion, loss both of her parents and grandmother in recent years just before her tremendous success.  She studied health care administration in college so she I hope she is familiar with riders in the life and health insurance sense of the word.  Who knows she may become a health care legislator or owner of a HMO in the future.
My gut tells me that Kamala Gopalan Harris and Joe Biden have something to do with this Rider Code.  Is she riding him or the other way around?

How to Watch Marvel's Movies in Order
Marvel Studio is a famous American film producing company specialized in directing and producing movies of superheros. It’s parent company, Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) produces web and TV series, comic books and short films. All over the world, people are Marvel fans and crazy to watch each production of Marvel.
Marvel has copyrights of the main superhero characters and every movie the character remains with unique characteristics in terms of their power and weapons. Marvel’s Universe is out of imagination.
Marvel studio movies receive an average of 64 nominations and awards per movie.
Most of the climatic battles that are seen in the Marvel studio movies among superheroes and villains rely heavily on computer generated effects. As we all know, each movie that Marvel studio makes has a signature shot of a cameo appearance of the late Stan Lee (the writer of many original comics). The first movie released by them was in 2008 but it all began in 1941. Most of the Marvel studio movies can be found online on streaming services like Amazon, iTunes and Disney+.

22. Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
It is largely a showdown between Avengers and Thanos. Avengers: Endgame final chapter of phase 3.
23. Avengers: Endgame (2019)
Going back to the time machine and getting all the power stones back and getting to the end of Thanos.
24. Spiderman: Far From Home (2019)
Spiderman facing monsters behind his life and fellow superhero Mysterio helps in saving him from these monsters.
Marvel has set a standard and gained popularity over the years
Marvel movie’s success is has four core principles:
(1) Select for experienced inexperience.
(2) Grasp a stable core.
(3) Need for challenging the formula.
(4) Foster customers’ curiosity.
Marvel Studios believes in granting directors majority of control in areas where they have the most experience. In order to balance the ideas, new talents and voices which are brought into each movie, the Marvel studio holds on to a tiny percentage of people from one to the next. The support and footing provided by them allows Marvel to maintain continuity among products and to give birth to an attractive community for fresh talent.
It has been noticed that Marvel movies portray differing emotional tones, that is the steadiness between positive and negative emotions conveyed verbally by its characters. Analysing the experience of Marvel shows us that franchises gain from continual experimentation.
Creativity, Animation, Character Building, and the Story Line are the main attributes of each Marvel movie and the fan followers just love to watch each of them over and over again!

Five computer games have additionally been delivered somewhere in the range of 1986 and 2004. Last Words on “Iceman” and My Hatred for the Marvel Fandom
Just the other day, Marvel Comics have cancelled many series, including “Generation X”, Heather Antos’ “Gwenpool”, Gabby Rivera’s “America” and - the topic of this post - “Iceman”, written by Sina Grace. This has been met with both rousing applause and deep scorn. And everything involving Iceman has proved one thing to me: I fucking hate the Marvel fandom.
Where to begin? Well, let’s start with the catalyst for my hatred, and that of course is the slew of comics coming out post “Civil War II”. CWII was something I was looking forward to. I loved the first one and I believe it’s one of Marvel’s best events ever. And with the movie just coming out when the first issue hit, it seemed primed to blow us all out the water. But…it didn’t. What ended up happening was the genesis of what some people call “SJW Marvel”. Now what does that mean?
A little while before CWII, Marvel started churning out comics with a more diverse-heavy cast of heroes. Kamala Khan, Miles Morales, America Chavez and the like all made appearances before the aforementioned Civil War. However, the term “SJW Marvel” didn’t seem to hit its stride until post Civil War and during the lead in to “Secret Empire” - Marvel’s second failed attempt at an epic event. At its core, the term is used to show how Marvel has moved past telling engaging stories and instead focused on what a character was, not who.
How does this relate to Iceman? In “All New X-Men” #40, Jean Grey basically outs Bobby Drake as gay. Then, later, the young Bobby tells the older one and Old Bobby admits indirectly that he is in fact homosexual. This caused a massive uproar, as many saw this as completely out of Bobby’s character. But the hatred for the new Iceman came to a head in 2017, when Marvel hired Sina Grace to write a solo Iceman series after the nonsense with Secret Empire. But long time comic fans hated this new Iceman comic for one sole reason: because it was bad. Many fans complained about the character designs, The inking, the writing and the characters themselves. However, fans of Iceman saw it differently. They didn’t see comic fans critiquing a series; they saw the outcry about Iceman as being “homophobic”. And it happened again, after “Iceman” was promptly cancelled, odds are by new Marvel EIC C.B. Cebulski.
To preface this: I did not like “Iceman”. Not at all. Call me homophobic if you want to, but my issue with Bobby was not because he was gay. My issue was that being gay was the only thing Bobby had going for him. Think about it: what else has Bobby done to make him a likable hero in his solo? All it did was make him look like a whole asshole. Take for instance in “Iceman” #1, when after he went to the hospital and his father told him that he missed his own mother’s birthday, Bobby says, “I think that was when I was literally saving a friend from apocalypse. I can have an edible arrangement here in no time” (p. 10). Any normal person would never say anything like that, especially not to their parents. The way it’s written shows a lack of genuine concern for missing his mother’s birthday and throws a haphazard “edible arrangement” to try to make it all better. We see this happen again in “Iceman” #2, where both him and Kitty put the safety of this mutant to the side - albeit momentarily- to talk about how him now being gay has affected them both. Even the mutant kid addresses it in what’s suppose to be a comedic line: “You’re gay, she’s emo…can you fools get back to rescuing me?!” (p. 16).
But the most egregious one of all has to be the entirety of Iceman #6. In #6, Iceman and his Champions buddies - Hercules, Angel, Ghost Rider and Darkstar - are mourning the death of Black Widow, their former teammate. However, things take a surprising turn when, in just 4 or 5 pages after some drinks, we see another non-superhero act: he destroys a woman’s Sentinel movie prop because it’s a “hate symbol”. This time, we don’t even need context clues to figure out he doesn’t care. He says it himself that he doesn’t care what it was (p. 9).
Immediately after that, it goes into Iceman meeting Judah, his soon-to-be lover. They talk, Judah asks Bobby on a date to a gay bar, Bobby has his first “gay kiss” (which are not me trying to sound homophobic; they refer to it in the comic [see “Iceman” #6 p. 16 & 17]) and then *boom* Sentinels. End.
The issue with Bobby now is that he went from being a “charming, but cocky guy” to being a complete and utter asshole. Disregarding things with “I’m sorry I had better shit to do” lines, destroying people’s property, and hooking up/dating someone he JUST met that very same day. These aren’t the marks of a superhero; these are traits of a dickhead who cares about nobody but himself. Even going so fast as to coerce his friends with a “pls don’t say no” (p. 12)
Which leads into my hatred for the Marvel fandom. I have been very vocal about my disdain for Iceman and his book, but what I’m hit with isn’t a rational discussion on what the book did right/did wrong. It was “You’re homophobic” or “You’re an MCU stan” (whatever that means) or my favorite: “Iceman is a great story, next argument” without any reasons as to why it’s a great story. This is why I hate the Marvel fandom: because the moment you don’t like something, you’re immediately racist, sexist or homophobic. Hate Ms. Marvel? Racist. Hate Captain Marvel? Sexist. Hate Iceman? Homophobic. You hate America? You’re all three of them! This doesn’t do anything to help your cause. If anything, it makes it worse. Nobody will read a book if you say “if you don’t read it, you hate gay characters and you hate gay people.”
Another reason the series has had poor reception is it’s competition. This is the same year Tom King released “Mister Miracle”, a true modern-day masterpiece that everyone should read. This is also the same year that Sean Gordon Murphy flipped the Bat-script with “Batman: White Knight”. Compared to those two alone, Iceman looks like the worst fanfic you can find. Take some time and read “Mister Miracle” and “White Knight”. They are actually brilliant comics and should be talked about more.
In the end of the day, my problem with Iceman isn’t that he’s gay. My problem is that being gay is all he is. He has no other character traits that makes him likable. He needs to be rebuilt, and the cancellation of the book is a great first step. However, being called homophobic because you don’t like Iceman? That’s wrong and it doesn’t do anything to make people read Iceman. And sales proved it. It consistently produced under 20,000 copies, and if people really cared, they would have read it.
Later on, I’m going to pitch my Iceman story. Where Iceman could have gone to save it’s comic arc. But I hate the Marvel fandom and I’m glad Iceman is cancelled. It needs a change. As always, I invite all to have a conversation about Iceman.

Chapter 18: Keep Neuromancer Out Your Mouth
Like any self-respecting gunter, Wade spends the opening of this chapter sitting in his empty apartment watching every episode of a TV show no one has ever heard of called "Whiz Kids” on a Friday night. This obscure one season show means nothing to anyone, to the point where it has never been released on home media at all in our reality. But to Wade, this is "research” that will bring him closer to his goal, not the sad and lonely time waster it might appear to us.
Unfortunately, this quest for knowledge is interrupted by an invitation to the birthday e-celebration of Ogden Morrow, friend of the late great James Halliday. He's turning 73 so of course he wants to DJ an 80′s dance party as his avatar, the aged wizard known as "The Great and Powerful Og." Wade calls art3mis and confirms that she got the same invitation, a signifier of their high gunting status. The other members of the High Five (remember that?) aren't able to go since Aech has a e-sports that night and the samurai twins don't go to player combat-enabled zones, which this party is in, unless necessary.
Also, didn't the two of them tell the others to fuck off since they weren't interested in being friends or working together? Oh well.
But none of that really matters to Wade since he's got it bad for art3mis and now he's finally about to go on a real deal date with her. Eager to impress, he puts on his 'Buckaroo Banzai' cosplay and travels to the planet Neonoir (yeah), where the dance club is located. But Wade knows he has to go there in style to maintain his reputation as the coolest gunter there is, requiring he make the trip in his fancy new car. What follows is a description of that vehicle, which is probably the most frequently cited passage from the entire book:
I made a big entrance when I arrived in my flying DeLorean, which I’d obtained by completing a Back to the Future quest on the planet Zemeckis. The DeLorean came outfitted with a (nonfunctioning) flux capacitor, but I’d made several additions to its equipment and appearance. First, I’d installed an artificially intelligent onboard computer named KITT (purchased in an online auction) into the dashboard, along with a matching red Knight Rider scanner just above the DeLorean’s grill. Then I’d outfitted the car with an oscillation overthruster, a device that allowed it to travel through solid matter. Finally, to complete my ’80s super-vehicle theme, I’d slapped a Ghostbusters logo on each of the DeLorean’s gullwing doors, then added personalized plates that read ecto-88.
I’d had it only a few weeks now, but my time-traveling, Ghost Busting, Knight Riding, matter-penetrating DeLorean had already become myavatar’s trademark.
I knew that leaving my sweet ride parked in a PvP zone was an open invitation for some moron to try to boost it. The DeLorean had several antitheft systems installed, and the ignition system was booby-trapped Max Rockatansky–style so that if any other avatar tried to start the car, the plutonium chamber would detonate in a small thermonuclear explosion.  But keeping my car safe wouldn’t be a problem here on Neonoir. As soon as I climbed out of the DeLorean I cast a Shrink spell on it, instantly reducing it to the size of a Matchbox car. Then I put the DeLorean in my pocket. Magic zones had their advantages.
What even can be said at this point? At the club, Wade meets up with art3mis and dances with her to both “Time After Time” and "a dance remix of 'Rebel Yell' by Billy Idol." So overcome with emotion from this experience set to a song I can't even imagine the sound of, Wade confesses his love for art3mis. He's immediately rejected.
You don’t live in the real world, Z. From what you’ve told me, I don’t think you ever have. You’re like me. You live inside this illusion.” She motioned to our virtual surroundings. “You can’t possibly know what real love is.”
That anyone in this futureworld that's existed for decades is at all resistance to the idea of (((online dating))) is pretty hard to swallow but Wade is a selfish prick so I'm not going to take his side either. Art3mis also expresses a desire to finish The Hunt and helping the world before entertaining the idea of a relationship. Wade, true to his nature, responds, “Right. Saving the world. You’re so fucking noble.” Not only is he an asshole but he once again does a complete 180 on his commitment to gunting. Hundreds of people died to protect his ability to freely take part in this quest but he's ready to abandon it entirely if he can virtually smooch his crush.
Almost as an afterthought at this point, a group of Sixers blow open the ceiling of the club and try to destroy art3mis and Wade to eliminate their chief gunting competition. Art3mis fights back, Wade stands there stupefied and resigned to defeat. Luckily for them, Ogden walks out of the DJ booth and effortlessly kills the entire Sixer team with red lightning from his fingertips. How he's able to do this as a normal user who doesn't have special permissions or powers is neither asked nor answered. With the threat over, art3mis leaves and Wade mopes. And he’ll probably still be moping for at least the entire chapter after this.

New from Every Movie Has a Lesson by Don Shanahan: CHECKLIST: 21 films to watch for the 2021 Oscars
Tumblr media
(Image: goldderby.com)
In what has become an annual Monday morning Oscar hangover, this website looks down the calendar and into the crystal ball to prognosticate which 2020 films could be contenders for the 93rd Academy Awards in 2021. Who could possible top the history that was Parasite? Many will try and they may very well come from this scouting report. Last year, 11 films from the 20-film list (and six others from the honorable mention section) ended up with Oscar nominations this past month, including wins for Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood, Judy, Ford v Ferrari, 1917, Rocketman, and Little Women.  No sooner than the sun rises and coffee pots turn on, the next Oscar season starts now!  Here’s your eighth year of advance scouting courtesy of Every Movie Has a Lesson. Release dates are listed if known.
1. West Side Story
Everything Steven Spielberg touches gets automatic attention.  He’s become very selective in his projects, so many were surprised he chose a musical, let alone a remake of a legendary classic.  Baby Driver’s Ansel Elgort and newcomer Rachel Zegler are your new Tony and Maria in front of all the usual Spielberg powerhouse collaborators (cinematographer Janusz Kaminski, editor Michael Kahn, screenwriter/playwright Tony Kushner).  Its Christmas release will prime it for peak Oscar attention. (December 18)
2. In the Heights
You heard this movie and its creator Lin-Manuel Miranda name-dropped last night. Its emerging star Anthony Ramos was given the mic time. They weren’t kidding about hearing it in the same place next year.  Between this and West Side Story, you may have a toe-tapping 93rd Academy Awards. Be ready for the performances and inescapable summer soundtrack from Miranda. (June 26)
3. Tenet
Christopher Nolan is also on the “everything he touches” list for Oscar attention. The John David Washington and Robert Pattinson thriller may be an ominous summer blockbuster instead of small-scale prestige, but that has not stopped Nolan films before. Expect technical attention given to cinematographer Hoyte van Hotema, production designer Nathan Crowley, and composer Ludwig Goransson.  (July 17)
4. Dune
Someone emerging to become equal in clout in the technical prowess department to Nolan is Denis Villeneuve.  His massive undertaking of Dune may be the film that surpasses Nolan for that elusive Oscar prize.  Hopping headfirst into the fantasy realms of Frank Hebert’s source is a cast of zillions including Rebecca Ferguson, Timothee Chalamat, Jason Momoa, Zendaya, Charlotte Rampling, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgard, Oscar Isaac, and Dave Bautista.  Someone get a bucket for the eyes popping out for this one come December. (December 18)
5. Mank
Tumblr media
(Image: movieweb.com)
It’s been too long since we’ve had a David Fincher feature in theaters.  Gone Girl, The Social Network, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button amassed 22 Oscar nominations and 6 wins.  This behind-the-scenes look at the creation of Citizen Kane through the eyes of Oscar winner Gary Oldman’s screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz could be the Hollywood-celebrating-Hollywood epic that finally wins Fincher an overdue Oscar.  This may be #5 for list purposes, but this is my prohibitive most-anticipated awards season favorite for this coming year. (TBA)
6. The Trial of the Chicago 7
Tumblr media
(Image: dailymail.co.uk)
Speaking of David Fincher, one of his former collaborators is screenwriter-turned-filmmaker Aaron Sorkin.  He’s following Molly’s Game flying solo with this legal drama about the charges leveled on a group of protestors from the 1968 Democratic Convention riots in Chicago.  Enjoy on-point rapid-fire dialogue and the big screen return of Joseph Gordon-Levitt next to Kelvin Harrison, Jr., Michael Keaton, Eddie Redmayne, Jeremy Strong, J.C. MacKenzie, Sasha Baron Cohen, and Frank Langella. (October 2)
7. The French Dispatch
Speaking of another filmmaker looking for that next big picture that wins the highest honors, Wes Anderson has steadily and strongly become one of the best filmmakers of this generation.  He too makes the “everything” list and The French Dispatch brings the prerequisite monster cast of Saoirse Ronan, Timothee Chalamat, Elisabeth Moss, Lea Seydoux, Willem Dafoe, Christoph Waltz, Benecio del Toro, Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody, and, of course, Bill Murray.  Called a “love letter to journalists,” this could speak to auteurs and regular folks alike. Besides, like the embedded videos, there’s his usual mise en scene to marvel at in the meantime. (July 24)
8. Respect
Between Bohemian Rhapsody and Rocketman, it wouldn’t be the 21st century Oscars without a musical biopic. The brightest and best contender of that genre for 2020 is the story of Aretha Franklin with Jennifer Hudson’s presence and pipes in the lead alongside Oscar winner Forest Whitaker and a renewed Marlon Wayans for director Liesl Tommy.  (October 9)
9. The Last Duel
Ridley Scott hasn’t had Oscar attention since The Martian, yet he is a veteran of pedigree where his movies garner serious consideration for praise.  Scott re-teams with Matt Damon who reunites with Ben Affleck and joins the fresh pairing of the red-hot Adam Driver for a showdown of knights, noblemen, and squires.  Period detail and Ridley Scott are a match made in Oscar heaven. (TBA)
10. Stillwater
Tumblr media
(Image: ktul.com)
Spotlight director Tom McCarthy returns to the poignant legal realm after a cute Disney spin with Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made.  Matt Damon stars as a father looking to clear murder charges subjected to his estranged daughter (Abigail Breslin). Wrought family drama and powerful themes come out strong with McCarthy.  Let’s see if this can also be an acting breakthrough for Damon to seek the top trophy that has eluded him. (November 6)
11. Charm City Kings
Moonlight and If Beale Street Could Talk director Barry Jenkins is the story credit on this spring drama about the gangs of the Baltimore streets.  While it might not be mainline Jenkins, one has to think the potential for quality is there. Meek Mill, Teyonah Parris, and Jahi D’Allo Winston star. (April 10)
12. Those Who Wish Me Dead
Tumblr media
(Image: metro.co.uk)
Ever since Hell or High Water, the respect for Taylor Sheridan as a writer and filmmaker has grown.  His latest neo-western is a Montana-set survival thriller set against a wildfire starring Angelina Jolie, Nicholas Hoult, Tyler Perry, and Jon Bernthal.  If it can find and bring an edge, the acting and screenwriting categories could be in play. (TBA)
13. The Personal History of David Copperfield
Armando Iannucci’s The Death of Stalin might not have risen to Oscar love, but his follow-up raises the class up a notch by taking on Charles Dickens with Dev Patel leading Hugh Laurie and Tilda Swinton.  Advance buzz overseas is very positive as this comedy stands to drop as summer counterprogramming. (May 8)
14. News of the World
Tumblr media
(Image: abqjournal.com)
Let’s start the Tom Hanks train.  Revitalized with his first Oscar nomination in over a decade for A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, the Hollywood icon stars in three 2020 films.  The first is the best Oscar hopeful of the trio. He re-teams with his Captain Phillips director Paul Greengrass for a western adapted by Lion filmmaker Luke Davies about a travelling reporter helping out his customers with a kidnapping matter.  Expect raw tension as only Greengrass can deliver. (December 25)
15. Greyhound
Tumblr media
(Image: youtube.com)
The second Hanks movie of the three comes from a World War II screenplay written by his own hand and directed by up-and-coming Aaron Schneider of Get Low.  The story surrounds a Navy captain trying to safely traverse a pack of approaching German U-boats.  Get your Captain Phillips and Saving Private Ryan tingles to have Hanks back on a boat and in WWII for a summer adventure.  (May 8)
16. BIOS
The third offering from Tom dives into science fiction mixed with a little love for dogs.  In a post-apocalyptic landscape, a robot is tasked with protecting a dying man’s dog, one of the few living survivors of the world.  Game of Thrones TV director Miguel Sapochnik leads his second feature film and first in a decade.  Let’s see if Hanks brings the golden touch. (October 2)
17. I’m Thinking of Ending Things
Every now and then, the Oscars notice quirky head-turners.  No one fits that description better than Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind writing Academy Award winner Charlie Kaufman.  His first directorial effort since Anamolisa and first with live-action actors in 12 years since Synecdoche, New York is a dramatic thriller about a woman at a relationship crossroads after an odd traveling detour.  Wild Rose breakout Jessie Buckley works with Toni Collette and Jesse Plemons for this future indie gem from Netflix.  (TBA)
18. Deep Water
Tumblr media
(Image: journalposts.com)
It has been a long 18 years since noted master of eroticism Adrian Lyne brought Unfaithful to the masses with a Oscar-nominated Diane Lane.  Let’s how Lyne has become an aging fine wine to the tune of Terrence Malick and other filmmakers who have taken decade-plus breaks.  His newest film adapts mystery maven Patricia Highsmith with ingenue-of-the-moment Ana de Armas entangled in a murder and disappearance crime when one of her allowed affairs turns up missing and her open-relationship husband, played by Ben Affleck, becomes the prime suspect. (November 13)
19. Mulan
The annual parade of Disney re-imaginings always find their way to Oscar nominations in the artistic categories.  With trailers promising more straight epic adventure and way less Eddie Murphy sidekick chicanery, Mulan might just be one of the rare cases where these remakes improve on the originals.  The Mouse House is betting strongly on female director Niki Caro (Whale Rider, North Country) to elevate this material into something special.  The trailers look phenomenal where future nominations look very viable.  (March 7)
20.  Soul
Pixar has two 2020 films awaiting release and both are in the first half of the year.  Onward feels like silly genre thrills, while Soul looks more like the assured Best Animated Feature contender of the two.  Colorfully bringing symbolism and emotion to out of out-of-body experiences, star Jamie Foxx and double Oscar winner Pete Docter (Up and Inside Out) look to squeeze hearts and tear ducts.  (June 19)
21. The Woman in the Window
The last entry on this list is a carryover from last year.  Director Joe Wright has been more hit (Atonement, Darkest Hour, Anna Karenina, Pride and Prejudice) than miss (The Soloist, Hanna) with Oscar voters.  So has his lead, namely 6-time Oscar nominee Amy Adams.  This long-delayed 20th Century Fox thriller in the vein of Rear Window finally sees the light of theater screens in the early summer.  (May 18)

For Immediate Release
DAVID HASSELHOFF Asks The World To “OPEN YOUR EYES!” In A Video For His New Single And Album!
Los Angeles, CA - Although most recognizable for his starring turns in the hit TV shows Knight Rider and Baywatch along with numerous feature film appearances (Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2, Kung Fury, Click, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, Dodgeball, and Marvel’s original Nick Fury: Agent Of Shield, among others) and roles on Broadway and the West End in productions of Jekyll & Hyde, Chicago and The Producers, megastar David Hasselhoff is ready to tackle a different role - the role of passionately earnest pop star singing for a new global consciousness in these difficult and troubled times. It’s a role not unfamiliar to Hasselhoff whose historic performance of the chart-topping single “Looking For Freedom” on the rubble of the newly fallen Berlin Wall in 1989 became a rallying cry not just to a reunited Germany but for all of the burgeoning democracies that were swept up in the winds of change.
For his new single, “Open Your Eyes,” Hasselhoff has resurrected a song from that same decade by dark rockers The Lords Of The New Church and brought it into the present where it sounds as fresh and vital as ever. “Open your eyes to the lies right in front of you” goes the chorus, echoing the growing discomfort felt everywhere by today’s media-saturated, politically marginalized population. Hasselhoff sings the refrain with legitimate fury and conviction against a backing track created by producer Adam Hamilton and renowned guitarist for the Stooges, and member of the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame, James Williamson. As Hasselhoff says, “I found a very relevant song that tells our story and am very proud to sing our story through this song. ‘Open Your Eyes’ is as relevant today as it was 30 years ago when it was written! Let’s make the world great again!”
To help bring the single to life, Hasselhoff has enlisted the video-making talents of Vicente & Fernando Cordero of Industrialism Films who, along with LA-based artist Dan Dowding of Media Pollution, have crafted a visual representation of the song. The video also leverages the power of social media by incorporating footage of Hoff fans from all over the globe who participated in the #EyesForHoff campaign. The final product is a video rich in spectacle but also carries its message just as effectively as it entertains.
Watch the video here: https://youtu.be/yBDc0YWi9mk
Hasselhoff’s new album, also called Open Your Eyes, is set to be released on September 27, his first with LA-based label Cleopatra Records. The album features 12 other fierce new takes of classics such as Modern English’s “I Melt With You,” Echo & The Bunnymen’s “Lips Like Sugar” and David Bowie’s inspirational anthem “Heroes,” each of which is brought to life in collaboration with one of a diverse array of artists ranging from industrial wild child Al Jourgensen of Ministry, major film composer Tyler Bates (Guardians Of The Galaxy, John Wick franchise), country legend Charlie Daniels, Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame nominee Todd Rundgren, ‘80s new wave icons A Flock Of Seagulls and many more! Open Your Eyes will be available on both CD in a deluxe digipak with a special collectible “Hoff Army” patch, on vinyl in limited edition RED vinyl and on all digital formats starting September 27!
Hasselhoff will also be celebrating the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall with an explosive tour through Germany, Austria & Switzerland beginning October 2!
