I don't have much to share. I am fucking exhausted although I have n number of ideas for big and small fics. I am trying to work on kiss prompts for now. But that is not working out too. I really want to complete the already existing Wip and write a big one. But alas!
@fallevs I am actually working on your kliss prompt. Its a funny set up I picked from Instagram(I suppose it was from a series)
Maybe I can share a little nugget of it. Warning: I'm am writing like a medschool essay. So average wordings and no feelings
Blaine had been waiting for a day off for a long time from his work to come here. Disneyland was one of his favourite places on the planet. It would have been better if he could have brought someone with him but his colleagues had their “plans”. His nephew loved Disneyland just like him but Cooper had gone on a vacation to Italy with his family.
Although Blaine could feel the high and euphoria of visiting Disneyland, going to all the rides out there, he had to make a stop at a point. And so he decided to stand in the never ending queue of his favourite bakery in the place to get his favourite Café Mocha and Matterhorn Macaroon.

nshara meets ix

The Elayan Forest was a mystery.
Nshara stands just a step away from the edge of the white forest. She can feel the chill of its always-winter wind on her cheeks, can smell the sharp scent of cold and snow.
She dares not enter, no matter how much she longs to document whatever secrets the wood kept. None who entered the forest returned the same, if at all. That was a risk that even she was unwilling to take. She was too young yet.
After another moment, Nshara turns, and stands frozen in pleasant, adrenaline-spiked shock.
A tall woman stands not too far from her. She has long white-silver hair, eyes critical but soft, the lines of her face gentle and severe all at once. A Spirit.
Instinctively, Nshara knows which Spirit this is.
"Ix," Nshara breathes. Her heart rate picks up, and a giddy rush almost makes her dizzy. Before her stood the Spirit of wisdom and kings. Her body moves almost in a trance, kneeling and pressing her forehead against the cold grass.
"Stand."
Her voice is so beautiful, Nshara can't help but note. She obeys, and wonders if Ix knows of her predicament.
When Nshara looks upon Ix's face again, she's smiling, as though proud.
"Nshara Veira," Ix begins, and it takes all she has not to leap with joy. "I come to tell you that you have my favor."
Ix spreads her arms wide. "I acknowledge your feats of intelligence, and for this I will grant you the answer to any two questions. Ask me, and I shall answer."
Nshara swallows, hard. Her mind still reels with this situation. The Spirit of wisdom herself had come to acknowledge her. The Spirit knew her name.
And she could ask any two questions she pleased.
The first comes without hesitation.
"What secrets does the Elayan Forest hold?"
Ix's gaze slides to the forest behind her, and a flicker of sadness passes over her beautiful features. "Secrets? I suppose it does have its secrets. The Forest is home to two special beings. The first is Kliss. The second is a girl."
She wants to ask more, but refrains. Only one question remains, after all.
"Ix," Nshara forces her voice to work again. "I'm honored beyond all measure to stand in your presence."
She hesitates, feeling her cheeks heat even in the cold. "My lady, forgive me if I am out of line, but from the moment I first saw you as a child I thought you were the most amazing being to ever exist.
And now, seeing you again, I'm reminded again. You know that I am a scientist, a scholar, a philosopher, so please do not take me lightly when I confess to you that I love you."
Nervous sweat beads down her back and she hears her voice shake. "My lady, I dare not ask for your hand despite how much I long to. May I only ask that you visit me again throughout the length of my life?"
Ix smiles sadly. "Nshara, I promise you that should you call me in need, I will respond."
At this, Nshara smiles, wide and bright, euphoria bubbling in her chest.
"I'm honored, my lady. Thank you."
Nshara blinks, and the Spirit is gone.
And Nshara never visits the Elayan Forest again.

my dearest friend @rabbithearted tagged me to talk about my top 6 movies i watched in 2023! <3
poor things dir. Yorgos Lanthimos this one is the most recent movies that i have watched and LOVED. any modern adaptation of Frankenstein WISHES they could be this, women takes agency of her life and body. knowledge is power and knowledge is life and it's really cool in the sci-fi aspect and leans into it soooo well, lots more to say about this movie but im keeping it brief and also i can't articulate right now i am sooo sleepy
30 days of night dir. David Slade thought this movie was alright but wont say too much but the ending made me SOB (it reminded me of midnight mass)
the martian dir. Ridley Scott after so many years saying i was going to watch this movie, i finally did! had a movie night one night at my house and my friend brought this one up. such a beautiful movie, i cried TWICE. and again, sci-fi! jessica chastain *mwah*
jeepers creepers dir. Victor Salva part of the halloween movie marathoning i did with my siblings in october and out of all the movies we watched, this was my favorite! it's terrific, it's a classic and perfect for the spooky season (or any season really) love me some monster flicks and the jenner siblings were *twirls my hair*
rope dir. Alfred Hithcock i watched this one solo after having it in my to-watch list for so long! it was fantatstic visually, clever, loved the characters and the suspense. i'll have to watch more movies directed by alfred
polite society dir. Nida Manzoor this one was a brightly colorful and wonderfully choreographed movie to watch in the theaters, the cast was amazing, hilarious and energetic characters. the twist did lose me a bit towards the end tho
