@klapollo-week day 2: weakness!

decided to doodle a scene from The Things We Do For Gym Access where Klav struggles with how he looks without his contacts.

Apollo latches on in a blink of an eye, face smushing against a shirt covered clavicle, arms holding tight around a broad ribcage. Klavier's arms don't move, and so he is quick to clarify, "touch me wherever. I don't care."

After only a small pause, warm arms return the favor, wrapping around his shoulders and pulling him sorrowfully close. He can feel Klavier rest a cheek on his head, and a hand slowly rises to hold the bare skin of the back of his neck. He can't even bother to bristle, he is just relieved those callused palms are taking what they need.

Because he is very desperately offering.

After a modest amount of time, Klavier loosens his grip, giving Apollo the okay to let go, but he doesn't. He doesn't move an inch, even daring to hold tighter. He feels a small tremble under his fingertips, against his squashed nose. The attorney doesn't need to look to know what is causing them, and when Klavier's hold finally, slowly returns, he speaks at last.

"Did you mean it?” he sniffles, “When you said I don't look like him?"

LMAO did I do these thumb nails in like 5 minute? Yes. Will I finish it?Who knows. Happy (late)day one of klapollo week

i threw it together on short notice because i’m working on something bigger rn, but as much as i love them having a big explosive moment i think when things go quietly and nicely it’s really warm too. so that’s my take.

And who would have it any other way?” His hair was distractingly short, made up of a tasteful side part and a platinum swoop artfully combed with streaks of black roots creating a chic edge to the whole thing. His clothes were plain — by his standards anyway, a mauve suit jacket with a silvery pin of his little symbol affixed to the lapel, plain black pants with a satiny sheen. It almost made Apollo angry. Who let you get this toothless? Time? Are you that simple, that much like everyone else in the end? “I guess you can only do so much charity work before they start inviting you to these kinds of things,” Apollo said, scratching his cheek in an attempt at aloofness. “Ja, they chased me right down. But then again, it’s led me here — back to you, the heir to the Defiant Dragons, breathing your fire at every legal ethics breach in the land. And then some.” “You make me sound special.” “You are, I’m afraid,” Klavier said without hesitation.
