“you’re pretty “ and “you’re drunk” with kirby
You smile when you open the front door of your and Kirby's shared apartment and see him and Cole standing there. It was quite a sight, seeing Cole trying to trying to keep your boyfriend's 6'4 frame from falling over.
"There you go, he's your problem now" Cole says panting a little as he drops Kirby on the couch
"Thanks Cole," you say, smiling as he walks past you and out the door again, leaving you to stare amusedly at Kirby who was struggling to take his shoes off
You walk over and untie his laces, taking both sneakers off before standing up and running your hand through his hair as he stares up at you.
"Let's go to bed baby, you're probably tired." you say. The guys had won tonight, went out to celebrate and you could see the night catching up to him.
"Mm" was his only response as he hooked his arms around your waist and pulled you on top of him, you're hips straddling his and legs settling on either side of him.
"You're so pretty," he says dreamily and you smile, feeling him draw random patterns on the skin at your waist
"You're drunk"
"No. You're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. And the smartest. And the kindest." he says, pressing a kiss on your collarbone between each compliment.
"Kirbs," you whisper and he meets your eyes, pressing a kiss to your lips
"I don't know what I did to deserve you, but I thank my lucky stars every day" he whispers, kissing your forehead softly
"I love you," you say softly, a little choked up and he grins widely, as if those are the best words he's ever heard.
"I love you more, baby"

"I'm gonna go get another drink, you want anything?" you whisper in Kirby's ear from your position between his legs. He was sitting on a tall barstool at a table with the guys, you leaning your back against his chest.
"No I'm good, do want me to go with you?" Kirby asks, his hands resting on your hips.
"No it's okay, thanks," you answer, brushing a kiss against his jaw before making your way towards the bar.
Kirby's eyes fall to your ass as you walk away, smirking at Cole when he looks at him and sees he got caught.
"The sexual tension is stifling man, when are you guys gonna end all our suffering and just get together?" Cole asks and Kirby takes a sip of his drink, stalling his answer.
"I just got out of a relationship," Kirby says and Cole scoffs.
"Yeah she broke up with you. And so did the ex before that. And the one before that. And you know what they all have in common. The fact that they all left you because you're in love with your best friend. The reason you can't keep a relationship is that you're practically already in one," Cole says
"It's not like that..." Kirby protests
"Keep telling yourself that," Cole says just before you return to the table, retaking your position between Kirby's legs, this time facing towards him. His hands end up on your lower back, dangerously close to your ass.
"You okay?" you ask, both hands landing on his shoulder
"You're here. How can I be anything but great?" Kirby asks, pulling you into a hug and ignoring Cole's pointed stare.
