I'm honestly retconning a shit ton of lore for the Chroniclerverse it's unbelievable
#ramblings#the more i retcon it#the more it resembles the lore of fe3h#whadda hell#long story short#the origins of ''aura wielders'' were mundane humans who had partaken in Anima blood#either with their consent or by force#and all modern aura wielders are descended from these people#kind of like how the crest bearers of fe3h are either descendants of the ten elites or the chosen champions of the four saints#also. older and more experienced members of the Anima race eventually gain the ability to shapeshift into the form of their spirit beast#though they should take care not to remain in their beast forms for too long#or else they get stuck in that form for the rest of their lives#and depending on their beast form's natural lifespan. the rest of eternity#i have no idea why im putting this in the tags#but fuck it#maybe someday i'll transfer them over to a proper post
