Yuukoku no Moriarty, I feel, has ignited a lot of my childhood glee. I've missed hyperfixating on things and coming up with dumb headcanons and writing fics to get rid of the silly brainworms the come in the middle of the day.

It's been a really, really long time since I've experienced this thrill where I can't stop thinking about the characters and story and not a single day passes where a little idea hits me like a sledgehammer in the middle of working

And then Morimyu, oh god, has sparked a descent down another rabbit hole (into 2.5D hell) and i haven't felt this way since I was like 13 and discovering Rebocon for the first time where KHR was an all-consuming series for me (fanfiction, fanpages, cosplay, osts, voice actors, EVERYTHING)

Anyway this was just a ramble because I'm mildly experiencing withdrawal from consuming stage content ever since I was introduced to some stages by a particular actor :') but WOW I've really missed this exhilarating feeling, my fingers are TREMBLING as I type this.

my favourite khr video of all time is when some of the voice actors got together and did a few "games". one was where the va's would switch character and haru's va got xanxus, so she read his lines in her voice and everyone lost their shit, it was so funny. (where's my varia!haru au?)

i actually listened to their version again the other day, though i didn't rewatch all the parts...been sitting here watching them over my very normally timed breakfast, thank you! i'm also falling into the rebocon hole now, i remembered there is a song with mammon & bel's voice actors, gotta find it somewhere...

that being said, i wanna hear the varia doing this with other characters too. unfortunate that it seems like it was never uploaded; there was definitely some kind of get together with them. introduction vid can be found on youtube, but nothing further.

haru is mainly said to have lightning flames by the reborn ccg, so i'm willing to cheer for her in a death match against levi. that nerd is going down.

I agree it's so sad how khr is basically forgotten despite how huge it still is? I just don't understand!

Yeah :( it was never all that big in the west tbh. But in Japan, it was famous enough to get its own Rebocon, concerts (these are so freaking fun to watch), and there are even character songs for a bunch of characters. But as TYL arc was coming to a close, the show dipped in popularity and shounen jump axed it. It was tragic :(( and they did the same for the manga that once there was a dip in popularity they axed the manga. I've always wondered what the true ending of the series would've been since amano clearly wasn't allowed to get there gjdjfj.

I think a lot of people just lost interest in waiting for the last two arcs to be animated and moved on. ;(

i rewatched some of rebocon footages n i gotta say mukuro&hibari duet’s songs r my jam, namely one night star n sakura addiction. apparently the lyrics are pretty poetic. one night star has this mellow feeling that fits with their personality n relationship so well.

I’ve gotta say that from the seiyuu events I’ve seen thus far, Reborn has some of the most energetic and fun seiyuus ever. It's always fun to rewatch clips and songs from the events, and they all are great at staying in character too
