#just.... vegas being so gentle and sweet after an intense scene
Text
obsessed with vegaspete fic premises where vegas gives pete the most intense night of his life but the absolute softest aftercare... like pete knew this man was dangerous and he knew he was in for pain bc that's what he wanted, but he didn't expect the same man who choked him until he saw stars and left marks all over his body to clean him up and lie him down on soft pillows and pet his hair with soft words of affirmation as pete slowly wakes from his afterglow...
and vegas savoring every moment he can keep pete in his floaty headspace, kissing him sweetly and holding him and just letting him enjoy it to the fullest bc he's never had anyone before who would let him do all these things to them and then come out like this... completely satiated and content and so peaceful... covered in vegas' marks and happy with it... oh vegas wants to keep him like this forever, do it again and again and again because something about it satisfies him, makes him feel good... he's found something special and he makes sure to cherish it

From the very first day (Bryce Lahela x F!MC)
Tumblr media
Pairing: Bryce Lahela x F! MC (Eleanor Bloom)
Word Count: 2.9k
Warnings: N.S.F.W. Cursing.
Prompt: Day 19. Begging | Lingerie | Ass Worship
A/N: Hello! In simpler words, this is a mix of rewrite of ch. 17 with some Kinktober stuff.
I know chapter 17 was pure perfection, it was romantic and sweet. But there are some things that I missed, and as I’m a hopeless romantic and intense I’ll fill those missing parts with this fic. I wrote this without intending to be a kinktober fic, but as yesterday the prompt was lingerie, and this fics has lingerie, I decided last minute that this will be kinktober fic.
I hope you enjoy it!

_______
Eleanor is proudly looking at Ethan and Naveen on their way to get more donations when a warm palm takes her by the waist. She turns around and meets with the amber eyes of her favorite person in the world.
“Hey, I’ve been looking for you”
“Oh, yeah?”—She asks, tugging the lapels of his jacket to pull him closer to her body. He instantly wraps his arms around her waist as his body is flush to hers.— “Had your fill of donors?”
“For a lifetime. What I haven’t gotten my fill of, however, is dancing with you.”
“We can fix that.”—She states with a smile on her face, parting a few inches so Bryce can lead her onto the dance floor.
A slow dance is playing, and it takes them nothing to pull each other closer, Eleanor clinging onto his neck as Bryce presses his fingers into the small of her back, caressing her around her waist in soft and soothing circles. Their bodies move in perfect synchrony with the gentle beat of the melody.
“How are you holding up?”
He looks at her golden eyes with inquisitiveness, not giving her space to hide anything from him. Since she was back at work, he had taken as a sacred duty to check on her every once in a while to make sure she was okay, and the gala wouldn’t be any exception.
“It’s been a strange night.”—She answers, shrugging for a moment.— “I don’t know whether to think of this gala as a victory or defeat, either way, I’ll always think I could’ve done more.”
As he senses the anxiety is stiffing her movements and affecting her features, he lifts a hand and tucks a wavy strand of hair behind her ear. His light touch makes her closes her eyes for a second.
“Don’t think about that right now, okay? This very second, it’s just you and me, together, enjoying the music.”
She nods with a sweet and peaceful smile, like his touch and his words had worked like a charm on her. She leans on him and both keep swaying to the music.
“This is nice.”—She whispers after several seconds as if she’s in a trance and only has a second to express something in coherent language.
The soft melodies are still playing, the soft murmurs of the people fill the air, but at that moment, just the two of them exist. Nothing else matters.
“Being nice with you is always nice.”
Bryce pulls her back and gazes at her with a look of intense longing and tenderness. She still feels numb, but his eyes just make her feel dizzy. Drunk. Drunk of happiness, of peace, of tenderness. Even of desperation. She could never understand what power he had to always make her feel that good with just so little, just with his presence. Since the very first day.
She looks into the iridescence of his amber eyes, where she never gets tired of looking at. Where she would always discover a different tone or a new freckle. Where she wouldn’t mind getting lost in forever. Where every time she looks at them, the earth stops spinning and everything's alright.
And as if an external force is possessing her, she tightens the grip around his neck, tugs him down her face, and closes her eyes, just as her scarlet lips brush his gently, following the delicacy of the melody.
It doesn’t take him a second before he returns the kiss, as if he had been thinking the same but Eleanor had been quicker. He tilts his head to one side giving her free access to his mouth. His grip around her also tightens, making their hearts beating next to each other, mere inches away. Eleanor opens her mouth briefly at first, tasting his lips into hers, but then her tongue invades him, and she identifies the sweetness of the peach and the vodka in his breath, vestiges of the sex on the beach he had drunk earlier.
Bryce then cups her cheeks with both hands and intensifies the kiss even more, his tongue swirling and caressing hers gentle enough to not make an improper scene in front of the whole hospital, but not as timid as a first kiss. He knows the perfect balance between restraint and eagerness.
After a while, Eleanor sighs when they part to catch some air. They stare at each other, smiling, his eyes like two golden orbs radiating the most exquisite warmth towards her, and his lips curving in the most dazzling grin that not even Beatrice Hornsby could resist this time.
And she can’t resist to kiss him again, and again, and again, like is never enough. And he can’t resist her, either. He could never.
They had been deaf this whole time, secluded from the world, but after a while, the began to notice the murmurs around them, especially the mumbles from  very familiar voices a few feet away from them
“Oooh”—Sienna squeals.
“Finally. I don't know why it took them so long to come out of the fucking supply closet they have been in since day one. ”- Jackie mocks, feigning a tired tone.
“They look so cute.”
“You didn’t think the same in Vegas.”
Eleanor and Bryce tried to ignore the chatter but couldn’t help but burst out in laughter at the reminder of that night in Vegas.
“Jackie, please! I had managed to wipe that image out of my mind and now…”
“Poor Sienna”—Eleanor laughs and then shrugs.— “Well, what she saw it’s nothing that she hadn’t done before, right?”
“Is that a challenge?”
“Please, no.”
“Because right now I have a couple of ideas.”—He whispers in a sultry voice as he plants soft kisses on her earlobe and down her neck.—“What do you say?”
“I say yes, but only if you don’t make Sienna find us.”
Bryce chuckles.
“I’ll be waiting for you on the emergency staircases on the fifth floor.”
He kisses her cheek and leaves her all flushed. By the time he disappears around the corner, she’s grabbing a glass of champagne from the bar and drinking it in three sips. The kiss had left her thirsty, but what she was about to do could leave her dry. She had to be cautious.
When she confirms that nobody is paying attention to her, she walks toward the elevator. Once on the fifth floor, she finds Bryce behind the door with both hands on his pockets and leaning casually against the wall.
“So, what do you have in mind?”
“Room 501 is empty. Sarah’s supposed to do rounds in an hour so it’s now or never.”
As soon as he stops speaking, Eleanor takes him by the hand and drags him to the hallway. They both walk quickly through the linoleum floor, glancing around like two adolescents sneaking out of class to make out in the bathroom.
Her story with Bryce had always been like a teenage dream, and tonight, with this sort of Prom for adults, couldn’t be any different.
When they enter the empty room, Eleanor leans against the door giggling.  She bites her lips as she feels her heart is pounding faster and faster inside her, like she was fifteen again.
“So?”—She asks.
As he realizes all the restraints he used on the dance floor are gone, he cuts the distance and kisses her fervently, wrapping his arms around her waist and lifting her up in one swift movement.
“Bryce!”—She titters as she embraces him around his neck and places her legs around his waist, taking off her stilettos on their way to the bed.
Once she scrambles onto the mattress, Eleanor reaches for his collar and pulls him down until he’s on top of her and their lips meet again, his mouth hungry against hers.
“I’ve been imagining this moment all night”—He breathes, evidencing how true his words are.
“Oh, yeah? What else have you been imagining?”
“Well”—He smirks—“for one thing you’re wearing… a lot less clothing.”
Grinning, Bryce slides his hand around her back, tugging the zipper of her dress down a few inches.
“Who am I to disappoint.—She replies sultry.
Then she stands up in front of Bryce, smiling mischievously as she grasps the zipper of her dress and slowly pulls it down the length of her back. Bryce traces her with hungriness as she tugs the fabric down her waist and exposes the carmine lace bra that adorns her breasts.
“You’re killing me.”
“Don’t worry, if anything happens… I’m a doctor.”
Her hands continue working on the fabric until she strips off her dress completely and reveals the carmine garter belts and matching panties that complete the masterpiece of her body.
“Hot damn.”—He groans as his eyes roam every inch of her bronze skin deliciously shimming against the moonlight filtering through blinds.
“The things is… I’ve been imagining this moment since I put this on.”
Bryce takes one hand and draws her against his body, his eyes now starving of her.
“You have?”
She nods.
“You’re incredible.”—He moans dizzily as she straddles him and then shuts him up with a kiss.
Without parting from him, she tugs off his jacket and blindly unbuttons his shirt, until her lips go down his jaw and his cologne intoxicates her, leaving her craving more of him. She continues planting a trail of kisses from his jaw and down his chest.
Soon she is stopped, as Bryce takes her firmly by the hips and pushes her against the bed. She looks at him surprised for a moment, but then her eyes turn seductively as he’s getting rid of the rest of his clothes.
Once he’s done, he climbs back on top of her and bends to kiss her passionately.
“Every…part…of you… is… incredible.”—He mutters as his lips travel down her collarbone.
“You’re not so bad… Oh!”
A moan interrupts her words. Bryce had moved the fabric of her bra and was licking and sucking her nipple with the always welcome expertise and eagerness, while his other hand was rubbing and pinching the other breast.
She runs her hands over his shoulders and buries her fingers in the nape of his head, completely taken aback by the sensations.
His mouth then moves lower, over her stomach and down her belly button, where the pretty lacy garter belt is circling and accentuating her waist.
“You planned all this for me?”
“Why not?”—She gives him a playful smile that he returns instantly, just a moment before kissing her hipbone and sliding his hand under the lacy fabric of her underwear.
Her nub is warm and wet, and the moment his fingers move over her folds, he realizes she’s dripping. Dripping for him.
“Oh my god.”
Eleanor releases a moan as she feels his fingers rubbing her clit, alternating a slow and quick pace, just as she liked.
“Looks like I’m doing something right.”
“So don’t you dare stop”.
Her voice is a gasp, and Bryce can’t help but give her a smug grin.
“I wouldn’t dream.”
His expert hand keeps moving gently against her core, with the perfect balance between firmness and speed. He watches while Eleanor is shuddering against his touch, her skin sweating and liberating the most complex scents from her perfume. Coconut and, maybe, sandalwood.
“Fuck, Bryce, yes…”
She’s growing desperate. Sweetly desperate.
He continues to caress her, slowly increasing the pace of his movements as her hips are pressing against her hand, anxiously looking for the most desired relief.
But just as he notices that she’s nearing it, Bryce stops.
“Fuck”—She groans.
She knows exactly what he’s doing, and she doesn’t care.
Still completely blushed and excited, she moves to one side, pushing him down her place, effectively switching positions with him in the bed. She kisses him as she drops her hand past his waist, sliding her fingers beneath the band of his underwear.
“I know what you did, and it’s only fair that I do the same with you.”—She whispers as her hand moves up and down his length, feeling his warm desire pulsing against her hand now wet with his precum.
Bryce’s head tilts back and he moans her name like a prayer between his ragged breathing.
She takes speed as the seconds pass, stopping just before he reaches the apex of his pleasure. Then, she retracts her hand.
“Now, you ready for more? Cause I am.”
Unable to restrain herself, she kisses him furiously, sliding her hands over the sharp contours of his sculpted body and pressing her core against his crotch.
Bryce parts from her for a moment, his eyes tracing her body once more: her chest pounding fast, her nipples growing hard under the lacy of her bra, her eyes darkened with lustful desire.  Perfection sitting over him and mere inches away from his mouth.
“God, Eleanor, there is no one in the world with you.”
He’s not even touching her sensitives spots, but she feels like he’s doing it all at once. His words trigger an unknown pleasure inside her. Is warm and sweet, and makes her heart beating fast.
“Took the words right out of my mouth.”
Because he’s pure perfection too. His caramel skin is warm against her, his soft hands gripping her tight feels like fire, and his lips now plump for so many kisses, are ready for a thousand more.
She rolls onto her sides as Bryce runs his hand up her back to cup her neck, drawing her mouth to his.
"Come here"
Moaning at the feeling of his body flush to hers, she unleashes a flurry of urgent, but soft kisses, brushing her lips against his heated skin. Then she returns to his mouth, biting his lower lip, then his upper. Then his neck. He’s absolutely addicting, and she knows she’ll never get enough of him.
Bryce guides her against his mouth, his lips grazing hers, their tongues meeting instantly, making her release a moan as his kisses are now sloppy and desperate.
“Bryce… take me”— She begs.
Bryce doesn’t answer. He just pushes her against the bed and traces her body with his hands. When he feels her nipples hardened under her bra, he can’t resist the urge to take them in his mouth again, feeling like her skin is the only thing that can satiate his thirst. Her sweet smooth skin, his favorite place in the world to get lost, along with her beautiful golden eyes.
She moans again, her body shivering against his mouth.  Soon she starts to jerk her hips against his, growing in desperation as she’s not having him completely.
“Bryce, I want you… Please.”
Eleanor begs again, but this time, Bryce concedes.
“You have me, Eleanor. You always have.”
And she feels it again. That sweet and unknown pleasure. That warmth.
Her mind races fast, trying to comprehend why this is happening again, what does it mean, until she understands.
He’s right. She has always had him. From the very first day, he had been for her. From the very first kiss, he had had her heart and she had had his. That’s why she only needs his presence to feel alright, that’s why she would lose in his eyes for eternity. That’s why she chose him to spend her last night on earth.
She loves him.
“Bryce…”—She says in a tiny and desperate voice, as he pulls the fabric of her underwear to one side and connects his body to hers and starts rocking gently against her.
Everything feels different now that she knows.
The pleasure building bigger and bigger inside her is hot like fire and sweet as chocolate, melting everything inside her. She closes her eyes for a second, feeling every nook of her body tickling with satisfaction.
Bryce accelerates his thrusts, his motion in perfect sync with her body that only asks for more.
Eleanor opens her eyes again, now shimmering in tears. Bryce looks at her and cups her cheek, worried at first. But he knows her, he can read her like a book. He identifies the yearning in her eyes. The desperate sweetness that’s coming out of her chest with every moan. Why she’s trembling that way when she hasn’t even reached her climax.
He knows.
“Eleanor…”
His whimper lets her know that he feels it too. He loves her. It’s all over his body, his eyes, his words, his kisses. Has been there since the first day.
“Bryce!”—A tear escapes her eyes as the ecstasy burst and flows through her body, from her head to her tiptoes, every inch buzzing and shuddering. And her head is numb and drunk again. Numb of pleasure and drunk of love.
“Fuck…”—She sighs, completely overwhelmed with the sensations.
Bryce finds his release seconds later, the pleasure knocking him off like never before. He’s satisfied, so satisfied, but also happy and complete. He feels like his chest is about to explode with so much warmth and happiness. With so much love.
When he manages to catch up some breath, he traces a hand over her glistening body, making her shudder at his very touch.
She turns to him.
“Was that everything you were imagining?”
“Almost”
He gives her a tender knowing smile before leaning in slowly until he reaches her lips. He had had more than he could’ve ever imagined, but he would never resist a kiss.
“There. Now it’s perfect. What about you?”
She cups his cheek and caresses him with the tip of her thumb.
“Just as the first day. Perfect.”

The right thing to do (Part II)
Lost in her thoughts, still cradled on the floor after confronting Adrian about their future and his apparent wishes to see her move on with her life, Ellie hadn’t heard him move away from the window and sit by her side. She only realised he had moved when his hand appeared before her to rest on hers, his thumb gently brushing against her fingers. She was desperate to look at him, but was dreading what she would read in his eyes.
Adrian’s chest was so tight that he thought for a moment he might stop breathing altogether from the pain he was inflicting them both. He could sense the turmoil of her emotions as much as he could see it in her eyes, fully aware of how much it must hurt because of how much it was hurting him as well. He could feel the guilt push against his resolution, trying to silence the pragmatism of his stupid old brain and take over the control of his body to reach for her. Embrace her. Take it all back and promise everything would be all right. When he had finally managed to make a move to sit beside her on the floor, he was still unsure whether guilt or resolution had won that battle. But either way, he knew he couldn’t just stay back in silence.
They stayed like this for a while, both staring at their hands as she was gradually calming down, her heartbeat slowing and her hands eventually relaxing under his touch, letting his fingers intertwine with hers gently. Not daring to lift her gaze towards him, she finally broke the silence, her voice low and faltering.
“Why now, Adrian? Why…” she trailed, unsure of how to phrase this. “Why wouldn’t you give us more time?”.
Finally turning her head to him, she could see her sadness mirrored in his flawless features, as he was still gazing at their tangled fingers, a sad smile on his face, as if he was already saying goodbye to these small gestures of affection that he had come to long for every day since she had rocketed through his life.
“I would love nothing more than give us all the time in the world”, he answered softly with a shy smile, “but time…”, he continued, finally looking back at her, “time is something I have plenty of, but you don’t…”.
She could see both the resolution and the pain in his eyes, with a flicker of hesitation that gave her hope that she could somehow make him waver.
“But I’m not ready!” she pleaded in a whisper, suddenly shifting towards him to nudge her face in the crook of his neck in an attempt to smother the tears that were threatening to overtake her. He reacted instantly by letting go of her hand so that he could wrap his arms around her, holding her close and burying his nose in her hair.
“I’m no ready to say ‘goodbye’”, she murmured against his neck, closing her eyes as she could feel a few tears roll down her cheeks, continuing their path on his chest. He held his breath at the sensation, as if each of her tears were slowly slicing through his skin like miniature blades. He wasn’t even sure what hurt the most anymore: letting her go, or breaking her heart?
“Will there ever be a good time to say ‘goodbye’?”, he simply muttered with a weak smile, kissing the top of her head where his chin had been resting, breathing in the smell of her hair as he tightened his embrace to let her know that, deep down, he wasn’t ready to let go of them either.
He held her silently like this for a while, letting the realisation of what had just happened sink into them both, his arms as tight as he could around her, her face buried against his collarbone, trembling hands gripping his shirt feebly over his heart. After a while, he could hear a change in her heartbeat, getting faster as her hands clutched at his shirt more tightly and her head started to shuffle slightly against his chest. He loosened his embrace reluctantly so she could move around, letting her raise herself and pull away from him slightly, just enough so that she could face him, her eyes red but filled with determination.
“I won’t do it”, she announced, loud and it clear, although her voice was still wavering. “I won’t say ‘goodbye’”. The intensity of her gaze made Adrian flinch, as if she had somehow found a way to reach for his heart by just looking at him, and was now holding it as tight as she could in her hands. But he could tell as well that her words were as much of a defiance as a surrender. She was searching through his eyes for any sign of weakness, hoping her words would be enough to change the outcome of this moment. But she was also admitting defeat, in her own way.
She won’t say it. She won’t acknowledge that this was probably one of their last times together. Probably the last. How could she face being around him after this night, knowing that he didn’t want her around anymore? But this night was not over yet, and she was not ready to let go just yet. All she wanted was to embrace her denial and forget herself in his arms. One last time.
Adrian nodded in silence, his eyes never leaving hers, showing that he understood what she meant and would gladly share with her these last moments together in any way she wanted. He was just waiting for her to lead the way.
As if reading his mind, Ellie bridged the gap between them by gently bringing her lips to his, worried for a second that he would pull away, but only to be met by his powerful embrace, eager to deepen their kiss. She let him pull her onto his lap until she was straddling him on the floor, reaching to cup his face in her hands as their lips kept meeting, softly at first, breaking apart slightly between each kiss to dive into each other’s eyes before meeting again, every time with more force and eagerness until their mouths crashed against each other with such force that their lips might bruise.
Adrian couldn’t hold back his yearning any longer, pressing one hand against her back and tangling the other into her hair to bring her closer to him, feeling that his heart might burst from all of the unspoken truths he had never dared shared with her about how he really felt for her. How hard he had fallen for her. And how shattered his heart was knowing that this would be the last time he would ever hold her. Because of him. Because of his own treacherous mind and haunted soul. He hated himself as much as he loved her.
He could hear her heart thumper in her chest, and feel her hands shake against his skin as she was cradling his face against hers, before releasing her grip to slide her fingers against his jaw, eventually reaching the back of his neck to grasp his hair and return the intensity of his embrace. Breathless, they eventually pulled apart, their mouths so close that they could feel each other’s warmth against their lips, panting, their eyes silently doing all the talking they needed to know what was next.
Never breaking eye contact, Ellie let Adrian pull her up against his chest to carry her away from the sofa, leaving behind them the harshness of the artificial lights of the living room as if fleeing a crime scene like thieves, to find refuge in the comforting shadows of his bedroom. The moonlight piercing through the windows was enough for them to see each other, but graceful enough to hide the soreness of her eyes and the dried tears on her cheeks, allowing her to finally catch a breath and indulge into that sweet denial she was desperately trying to cling onto.
Adrian gently dropped her back to her feet by the bed, brushing away a few strands of hair from her face, caressing her cheek with his thumb before tracing a path along her jaw and her neck without letting her out of his sight, as if trying to commit this moment to his memory.
Intoxicated by his touch, Ellie intercepted his hand and slowly brought his fingers to her mouth to place gentle kisses on their tips, before guiding his hand back to her chest and to the seam of her top in a silent invitation. Lifting her arms in the air so that he could grant her wishes, she then pressed herself flush against him, reaching for his mouth on her tiptoes and letting her hands roam blindly against him to find the buttons of his shirt, eager to remove that wall of fabric that was keeping the warmth of his skin from hers.
The desperation in her touch was echoed by Adrian’s, his own hands gradually loosing control as they travelled over her body, impatiently reaching for the hem of her trousers when he felt hers reach for his belt after she had quickly tossed his shirt aside. Savouring the feel of her fingers brushing against his hips and thighs as she was pushing his breeches down, and exhaled slowly before sinking to his knees before her as soon as she had undressed him completely.
Trailing his lips along her chest and stomach as his hands were making their way down along her curves, he religiously proceeded in gently peeling away every layer of cloth that was still protecting her skin from his starving senses. He could hear her breath catch in her throat as he undid her bra and let his fingers gently caress her breasts, and felt a wave of heat course through his groin when his touch was met with shivers as he was slowly pulling her jeans and thong down, letting his mouth hover above her thighs and knees without ever touching her skin, just close enough for her to feel the warmth of his breath taunting her.
When he finally looked back up to her, his eyes, now nearly glowing in the dark from the golden colour that betrayed his arousal, met her burning gaze, pleading silently for more as her lips parted slightly and her hands fell lightly on his head, her fingers tenderly fiddling with strands of his hair. Holding her gaze for a few seconds has he gently grabbed one of her thighs to lift it above his shoulder and nudge himself closer, he finally answered the silent call of her aching core, burying his mouth and nose where she needed him the most.
The taste of her was driving him crazy. The wetness and warmth of his mouth sent her head flying backwards, the strong strokes of his tongue over her swollen nerves forcing her to tighten her grip in his hair as her back arched involuntarily to push her hips forward. He could hear the blood rushing out of her heart, and feel where each wave ended its journey, pulsing against the tip of his tongue. Loosing herself slowly under the waves of pleasure that were washing over her, Ellie finally allowed herself to gasp and moan languidly as Adrian was losing himself in her folds.
The sound of her moans hit Adrian like an electric current, making him grunt between her thighs as his need of her was becoming more urgent. He could feel her legs tremble against his head and her hands tug harder on his hair. She made no complain when he released her thigh from his grip and let his mouth travel all the way back up to her neck, her lips quickly finding his eagerly as she pressed her burning skin against his, moaning a little louder in his mouth as she felt his arousal press against her belly.
Inebriated by the taste of his tongue, she pulled him backwards with her until they fell onto the bed, their limbs tangled in a confused dance as they were both trying to reach for each other, desperate to join as one. Although none of them wanted to rush this moment, they couldn’t keep apart any longer. Slipping one of his arms under Ellie’s shoulder to cradle her against him, Adrian settled his hips between her legs, easily finding her warm entrance and filling her slowly, relinquishing the gasp that escaped her lips and the long, satisfied moan that followed.
Right there, in this moment, they both felt complete. Serein. At peace. Enveloped in each other’s warmth and smell. Protected from their aching souls by the deafening sound of their blood beating in their ears. Moving against her with as much restrain as he could summon, Adrian was savouring every second. The way her lips parted with every moan. The vein palpitating in her neck as the blood was being rushed to her cheeks. The sweat glistening between her breasts and pooling where their bodies met. The warmth and wetness of her centre pulsing around him.
The slow pace that Adrian had set was driving her insane. As much as she wanted to savour the sweet madness that his touch and that the length of him were pushing her towards, she needed more. Tightening her grip on his shoulders and pressing her feet on the mattress, she forced her hips upwards to meet his with more vigour, her eyes fluttering open to meet his and make him understand what she needed of him.
She shrieked when Adrian responded to her cues by picking up the pace and sinking deeper into her, each thrust sending a shockwave of pleasure rippling through both of them, echoed in their cries and their ragged breaths.
Ellie wanted to drown her pain in their cries, in their breaths, and numb that ache in her core by letting herself burn under the heat of his touch. She wanted him to be able to read her body like a book, letting her skin confess all of the unspoken words she wanted to tell him but had not been brave enough to voice before it was too late. Although she could feel her eyelids heavy and her head aching to roll back to give in to the bliss, she refused to tear her eyes away from him. She needed to see him. See his strong arms wrapping her. See how his thighs flexed against hers at every thrust. See where their bodies joined. And see the crimson in his eyes as he was devouring the sight of her abandoning herself to his embrace.
Possessed by some kind of mad fever triggered by her incontrollable cries and the feel of her hips buckling under him to meet him desperately, Adrian’s movements became more erratic, his groin slamming against her sex with such force that she had to sink her nails into his shoulder blades to stay put. His forehead pressed against hers, he could see her eyes clouding with pleasure, sending him dangerously close to the edge as her mouth seemed to be desperately trying to call out his name, only resulting in irrepressible squeals. Slowing down gradually to calm himself down and prevent him from tipping over, he captured her lips in slow, lazy kisses, letting her catch her breath for a moment.
Cradled in his arm, Ellie felt like she was dreaming. She was drowning in his eyes and melting against his lips, wishing that they could stay like this forever, closer than they could ever be, moving ever so slightly against each other to keep this fire burning between them. Pulling him closer to her so that he was completely lying on top of her for an instant, she couldn’t help but sight with content. She then wriggled lightly underneath him before pushing against his shoulders to make him roll to his side, shifting her weight completely to straddle him. Her hands resting on his chest, she started moving up and down along his length with an agonising slowness, drawing guttural sounds out of Adrian every time she teased his tip with her entrance on her way up, nearly drawing him out of her before sinking again onto him.
Adrian couldn’t keep his eyes off her. As much as he was trying to tune down his senses, his body was instinctively picking up on every single breath of hers. Every change in her heartbeat. Every variation of her moans. Every goose bump on her skin, as she was shivering with pleasure above him. He could feel his heart race with hers, his eyes chasing hers in a silent plead to let him read her soul, one last time. He couldn’t keep his hands off her either. Brushing the soft skin on her sides. Cupping her breasts to feel their weight in his palms. Gripping the top of her thighs to guide their path, fighting the urge to guide her further down and arch upwards to increase her pace, the slow roll of her hips making him boil inside with desire.
As if reading his mind, Ellie suddenly straightened her back to lower herself entirely onto him, moving her hands from his chest to find his on her hips. Tangling their fingers together between them, they started to move faster in unison, never leaving sight of each other.
Craving for the taste of her mouth, Adrian raised his chest to meet her and capture her swollen lips, reluctantly releasing her hands so that he could guide her legs around his waist and wrap her small, fragile form in his strong arms, encasing her protectively as if she could crumble if he weren’t careful enough. Their kisses were urgent and hungry, leaving wet trails on their chins and in their necks as their moans and their need for air were forcing them to break apart momentarily.
They had never held onto each other so tight. Her fingernails digging in his back. His fist grasping her hair. Her teeth grazing his shoulder, face buried in the crook of his neck. His arm wrapped around her back, tight enough to keep her close but loose enough to accompany the movements of her hips on his lap.
She was fighting against her most intimate urges to ride him faster, harder, and feel him to the deepest of her core, slowing her pace as much as she could to make their heated embrace last longer. To let their pleasure burn them slowly to the ground. The feel of his warm skin against hers was driving her insane, tugging at her stomach at the realisation that she would never feel it again. Overwhelmed by the sensations of their embrace and of her feelings for him, she couldn’t hold the tear that suddenly breached her eyelid, and buried her face in his neck in an attempt to wipe it away.
Adrian felt the path of her tear on his chest as if it had been a drop of burning oil, sending a pang to his gut, fully aware of what it was. Slowing down his movements, he reached for her chin to lift her head up, gently cupping her face and resting his forehead on hers, pouring all the affection and love he had for her in his unwavering gaze to let her know that he knew exactly how she felt.
Lost in each other's eyes and hanging onto each other as if their lives depended on it, they finally allowed their bodies to roam free and yield to their most intimate urges, the tension building up again between them as their hips swayed together with a vigour that could only be matched by the intensity of the yearning in their eyes. Wiping the tear from her cheek as her hands were weakly grabbing onto his neck, they let their bodies carry them over the edge, reaching instinctively for the other’s lips to muffle the unrestrained cries that her tightening around him unleashed.
As if frozen in time, they stayed like this for a while, tangled and breathless, before falling backwards into the bed sheets to nestle against each other, her hands never leaving his neck and his eyes never leaving hers. Both dreaded the moment they would fall asleep and see their last shared moment end.
When Adrian woke up she was already gone, leaving nothing behind but the smell of her in his sheets, the trail of her dried tears on his chest, and a self-inflicted void in his heart.

N/A: Well, this was my first time ever writing smut, so I hope it wasn't too bad and that part II was not too disappointing! :)
I have started working on other pieces, which should follow up on Adrian and Ellie after this. Let me know if you want to be added to the tag list, and thanks for reading!

AK Monthly Recap: November 2017
Happy December, everyone! It’s hard to believe the year is nearly over. For me, once again, this was a low-key month, mostly spent at home. I’m savoring these times before I strike up my busy winter travel schedule.
Destinations Visited
New York, New York
Reading and Lynn, Massachusetts
Nashua and Merrimack, New Hampshire
Las Vegas, Nevada
Favorite Destination
Viva Las Vegas. It was so good to be back!
Highlights
Finishing Whole30 — a perfect 33 days. When I began Whole30 — 30 days of no sugar, alcohol, grains, dairy, legumes, or artificial flavors — I worried that I wouldn’t be able to resist temptation. That wasn’t the case at all! I was sad that I couldn’t keep going!! I ended up lasting for 33 days and felt so much better as a result. See more about that in the Fitness Update section below.
Spending Thanksgiving at home. Two American Thanksgivings in a row after spending six outside the country? That was a very good thing. Even if eating the pie sent me into major stomach pains following Whole30.
My 15-year high school reunion. How have 15 years passed already?! My class had an informal reunion at a nearby bar, and while I didn’t expect many people to show up, I was delighted that so many of my classmates came. And everyone looked the same to me — I guess the RMHS Class of 2002 is a well-aging bunch.
I was a little worried that I would be the odd woman out, as it seems like everyone in my class is married and/or popping out kids these days, but it turns out that most people at the reunion were unmarried without kids as well! Ha. And it was really nice to hear from classmates who have become readers of the blog.
I was featured on ABC 7 New York. The local news station is doing a series of video features on local influencers. I talked to them about my life, career, and travels. You can check the whole thing out here.
A return to Las Vegas! The trip began on November 30, so I’ll mention more in next month’s recap, but the highlights of the first day were eating at Gordon Ramsay Steak (and if you see an American Rib Cut on a steak menu anywhere, GET IT — it’s crazy good) and the sheer luck of having a row of three seats to myself on a six-hour flight.
Challenges
I got hit with some bad news at the end of the month. Nothing truly awful like death or illness, nor is it work- or business-related, nor is it anything juicy or gossipy, but it’s bad news anyway, and for reasons you’ll understand later, I’m keeping it private at the moment. It’s basically a huge disappointment compounded by a logistical pain in the ass, and it’s going to cost me a good amount of money. Fun times.
In other words, please be patient with me over the next few months, especially if you know me in real life. I’ll talk about it once things are settled.
There was a huge fire in my neighborhood. Six alarms and more than 300 firefighters were on the scene. Thankfully, neither my sister nor I were in danger, nor were any of our friends, and the injuries were miraculously minimal, but a lot of my neighbors have lost their homes. We’ve been raising money and collecting donations for them.

Hard to argue with a very rare view: a New York sunset without a single cloud in the sky, taken from one of the best viewpoints in the city: the Staten Island Ferry. For more live updates from my travels and New York in real time, follow me on Instagram at @adventurouskate.
Fitness Update
Whole30 is one of the best things I’ve ever done for my body. Stripping out sugar, alcohol, grains, dairy and lots of other things made my body suddenly start working far more efficiently. Altogether, I lost 8.8 pounds of fat and gained 0.8 pounds of muscle. That’s pretty much best case scenario for what my body can do in a month.
And one benefit that I didn’t expect was that my workouts with my trainer suddenly improved by leaps and bounds. For several weeks, I was struggling to do squats properly while holding kettlebells — and then suddenly it clicked and I was doing them perfectly. I was curving my back during kettlebell swings, then BAM — perfect swings. Bigger deadlifts, too.
I tried Pilates for the first time in October, and it’s since become a major part of my fitness regimen. I love it! It’s so weird, because I always get bored and exasperated at yoga and I always feel like I’m dying in barre, but Pilates is the happy medium. I feel so strong and aligned after I do it.
And finally — I’m doing Couch25K again! Couch25K is a running plan that takes you from being a couch potato to being able to run a 5K (3 miles, or about 30 continuous minutes) at once.
You might recall that I started Couch25K two years ago, got injured, and never picked up running again. Well, like many people, that was because I pushed myself too hard too fast. This time I’m determined to do it right — not running too hard or too often, stretching well, cross-training appropriately, and only increasing the intensity slowly. If this works out, I’ll be racing by spring.
What I Watched This Month
Can we talk about This Is Us? Can we talk about how I can’t decide if I want Randall Pearson to be my husband, my dad, my brother, or my kid? It’s disconcerting. If you’re not watching, you can get started on Hulu and catch up…
What I Listened To This Month
One podcast that I really enjoyed this month was More Perfect’s episode about Citizens United. More Perfect is a fabulous podcast about the Supreme Court; it explains some of the Court’s more notable cases in an interesting way that non-lawyers can understand.
I didn’t know as much as Citizens United as I should have — looking back, I realize it was because the case was decided in January 2010, which was the month that my life blew up, leading me to start this blog and travel the world. It was a crazy time; no wonder I wasn’t following the news beyond the bare minimum.
So listening to this podcast was incredible — while I only knew the basics of Citizens United, I feel like I understand all the nuances of it inside and out now. What a catastrophe, and what terrible results for America.
What I Read This Month
What Happened by Hillary Rodham Clinton (2017) — I didn’t want to read this book at first. Reliving the election was the last thing I wanted to do; I thought it would be too painful. So what changed my mind? Seeing so many people, from journalists to internet randos, saying that Hillary should just sit down and shut up.
Fuck that. Seriously. You’re saying that the first woman ever to be nominated by a major political party, a woman who won the last election’s popular vote by nearly three million votes, deserves to be silenced for the rest of her life? No. Al Gore and John Kerry and John McCain and Mitt Romney didn’t get the same treatment.
So I read the book. And I really liked it. It was a deep delve into the election from Hillary’s perspective, and honestly it felt so damn good just to hear her voice speak through her writing. So if you’re like me and you weren’t going to read What Happened because you thought it would be too painful, I encourage you to do so anyway. I think you’ll be glad you did.
Chemistry by Weike Wang (2017) — What happens when your world drops out from beneath you? In this book, an unnamed narrator, a Chinese-American student working on her Ph.D. at an elite Boston university, has a breakdown. She can’t decide whether to continue pursuing her doctorate or whether she wants to marry her perfectly nice boyfriend, and when compounded by pressure from her parents, she slides deep into indecision, letting the world decide for her.
This book is sweet, and short, and gentle — but what surprised me the most about it was that it read as a lesson in how to be kind to yourself, how to forgive yourself, and how to find joy and meaning after giving up the life you always thought you’d have.
Priestdaddy by Patricia Lockwood (2017) — I like to think that the best memoirs are by people with exceptional life stories, told in an exceptional way. Most memoirs are only one or the other, but I don’t think a single memoir has been equally strong in both areas as Priestdaddy. Patricia Lockwood grew up with a Catholic priest for a father (yes, the Vatican allows some clergy from other Christian denominations to convert to priesthood, even if they’re married and have kids, and it’s rare but it does happen). And the story is told beautifully because Lockwood is a poet. Every sentence is a work of art.
The memoir covers the nine-month period that Lockwood and her husband lived at the rectory with her parents to save money, as well as some childhood anecdotes. Basically, her father is a guitar-jamming, nudity-loving, abortion-protesting larger-than-life character, and her mother and four siblings are various shades of quirky and hilarious as well. I’ve never read a book remotely like this before. Just one warning — Lockwood’s prose is so detailed, each word placed carefully, that reading it will probably take you longer than you think. This is a book to savor, not speed through.
Practical Curiosity by Alex Berger (2017) — I am a big fan of my friend Alex’s writing on his site, Virtual Wayfarer, so when he released his first full-length book of observations on life, love, and travel, I was eager to dig in. Alex has a perspective that I’ve always valued — we’re about the same age, but he has the wisdom and insight of someone much older, and I love how he puts his thoughts into words.
If you’d like to look at your life a bit differently, add more adventure and curiosity to your life, or nod in appreciation about how much long-distance relationships suck, this is a great (and cheap!) book to check out.
Coming Up in December 2017
No travel plans other than the remaining days in Las Vegas that I just finished. I should be home in Massachusetts for Christmas, though.
And it’s a good thing that my upcoming Antarctica trip was postponed from December to March, since I now have to spend December taking care of the issue that I mentioned in the “challenges” section above.
That said, I love Decembers on the blog because I get to write my best and worst of the year posts! Get ready for posts on the best and worst moments of the year, as well as my favorite new destinations and favorite books of the year.
What are you up to this December? Share away!
