It’s not really a matter of who starts it first in the relationship, but rather it’s already built in, established and part of the imaginary contract– there from the start, and to the very end.

His go to when spooning in bed would be to have his arms twined around your waist, his chin resting atop your head.

The warmth emitted from his body washes a sense of comfort over you, like his arms are just where you belong; perfectly fitted in his warm and welcoming embrace.

Whether you're both doing your own things or soaking in each other’s attention, there's always some sort of skinship being shared. His head would lie on your lower abdomen while he types away on his laptop, finishing up his work before sinking deeper into the mass of pillows and comfort, which is you.

Or perhaps the other way around– while you’re preoccupied with pushing through the last of your assignment, he would have you either situated in his lap or between his legs, arms encircled around your waist while he catches up on his much needed rest.

On the rare occasions that he chooses to stay awake, he's conflicted between leaving you to you work, or pressing kisses up along your neck to draw your attention back to him.
