Rue Adolphe Jullien, Paris, France: Rue Adolphe-Jullien is a street in the 1st arrondissement of Paris. It is served by line 4 at Les Halles station. It owes its name to Adolphe Jullien (1803-1873), engineer, director of the Compagnie des chemins de fer de l'Ouest, one of the main promoters of railways in France. The street was opened in 1886 by the city of Paris, to serve as an access to the Bourse de Commerce. Wikipedia.

I say this because when I was like 6 or 7 I had a great big collection of cookbooks I used to bring to school and read in bed. I didn't do it when I was bored and there was nothing better to do, I did it recreationally and of my own free will.
I always appreciated looking at the interesting graphic design and colorful food photography within, but I even read ones without pictures, mostly just cooking the food step by step in my head, and imagining serving and eating it. And even though I cooked SOMETIMES, I probably spent more time THINKING about cooking than ACTUALLY cooking. Anyway I want to know if someone's had similar childhood experiences because everyone so far thinks I'm weird for this lol
