The "Failed" Yellow Hero of Paradise Returns– As The Gray Hero of Paradise!

THIS IS ALSO AN AU! Hence the mentions of non-canon events/characters! But we can just say she universe-hopped in some cases or something I dunno- /vlh

She was created to be the Yellow Hero– but they came out "defective", gray in color and without any abilities (aside from that levitation ability the other Heroes have– except, aers was very, very weak. Before her connection was restored, Bug couldn't lift anything heavier than a ballpoint pen. But, even if it was lighter than that, it did take a lot of energy out of them if it went on for too long.).
Aer caretaker, Redd, was a total bitch about it, to put it lightly.
So Bug had to put up that for the longest while– before she came across the other caretakers, and, after a while of following them around out of spite and bickering with the other Heroes (she hated them. All of them. She couldn't stand them. Every. Single. One.), she bonded and became close friends with the Purple Hero, Steel (owned by @/sleepless-tea).
Everyone deemed it necessary to keep Bug as far away from Redd as possible, and so, Bug bounced around staying with the other caretakers and Heroes for a long while... (Which, it should probably be mentioned that they all pretty quickly learned that it was a must to keep Gold and Bug separated at all times.)
Over time, Bug became bonded with a purple hexagon monster– Orchid (also owned by @/sleepless-tea).
The Trees of Life eventually restored their connection to Bug, deeming Orchid as their caretaker...
And things are alright now. Or, so ae hopes.

Overflow is the name of a fan comic and AU of the game Just Shapes and Beats from Berzerk Studios. I am working on it consistently since August of 2021.
The story is set in the Science Fantasy genre with great influences from Cyberpunk. Idea: Blixer still wants the Tree to repeat the events of the game and not being (officially) sorry for any harm he caused.
