Could you link me some fluffy (or spicy, don’t matter) fics/hc/drabbles of the ghost members with sick reader? Or even specifically you know, surgery. I love the ghouls and papa platonic x kit reader or anything younger. It’s just so comforting, and everything hurts rn, not just my chest, but an ear infection for the 6th time this month.

Aches (Mitchmatch24) is one of my personal favorites, reader gets a migraine and Aether draws it out. <3 (also please check out mitch's other fics too they're very soft!)
From the Pinnacle to the Pile (Mitchmatch24) isn't a sickfic necessarily, but it's about an overworked reader getting dragged into the ghoul pile.
Bedtime (lampisaflashlight) is really cute, Rain essentially kidnaps Dew and puts him to sleep LOL
Personal Heater (thatoddgent) is about Sodo soothing a reader with chronic pain.
Rest (milkywaybottles) is one of the first Popia x readers I ever read, I find a lot of comfort in it even now. <3 It uses the prompt, "Just go back to sleep, I'll be here when you wake up." and is overall really sweet.
kazoo comfort (ghostchems) Terzo, retired, finds the reader on a break and serenades them. with a kazoo.
lil dew ficlet (iamthecomet) my personal favorite sickfic, not an x reader but I use it to fuel my daydreams
Aether is exhausted (iamthecomet) another (kinda?) sickfic, not an x reader but Aether is running around the ministry overworking himself caring for everyone else who is sick until the ghouls stop him.

It is hard to find Swedes fics! There aren’t many, unfortunately, which was the driving force for me writing my own
My general advice for searching on AO3 would be to look under the character tags for either Otto or Oscar (Axel is used in a lot of other UA fics)

Hello Anon! Its no worry at all, thats an amazing question!
Id love to simply say it was because life had me busy and such but that would be a lie. It was a mix of life/stress and Imposter Syndrome caused by hate anons I received.
As much as Id like to say that the Ghost community is full of love and acceptance, there are also people like these that reach out to me:
(Names of the Ghost writers this anon wrote are blacked out for their privacy because they dont deserve to have their names be used to hurt me)
Why? No goddamn clue. I generally keep to myself and my mutuals, as Im shy. I suspect its because of a post a made a week or so ago after a dear friend of mine deleted her tumblr due to Imposter Syndrome, OR because of my Hanahaki Ghost fic, Rooted in your love.
Why it took 5+ months? Because of that type of anon. Imposter Syndrome really got me by the throat when I received that and I genuinely felt like my writing was garbage, and I still do, but that anon has been blocked.
I am still very much into the Papas, and I am still very much into Ghost. I just felt like I didnt have anything to offer anymore.
But please dont worry! Im working on feeling better and on kicking Imposter Syndrome to the curb like that cheating husband you no longer want! 😌

Hello all!
These past two months (or more), Ive really been struggling with liking my own writing/liking my fics.
Its hard to leave Imposter Syndrome in the past and to not let it affect me, but I read something that was very interesting about how to help combat it (I am insanely devastated that I didnt think to screenshot the post so I could link it here).
The post was about having people who read your fic tell you about your own fic, but for the reader to describe it as if it was someone else who wrote it and not me. Pretend like I am a friend who you are recommending the fic to, basically. Tell me your likes, your opinions, your speculations, your frustrations; anything and everything you would tell a friend.
The person went on to explain how sometimes, seeing your work through the eyes of others helps you recognize your hard work, talent and helps soothe your fears/Imposter Syndrome.
To the people who love my fics and would like to help me see if something like this could help, please send me an anon, I would be delighted to read your messages!

I’m saying this as kindly as this can sound but we don’t care about ‘haha it’s coming!’. We just want the riyl chapter.
At the frequency of hate Anons I get, I rarely reply to all of them, but lucky you, I felt like replying to yours.
Anon, I have several things to say about your message but your barely worth a second of my breath if you truly dont care about the people who write the stories/fanfics that you read.
You need to realize that I, including many other fanfic writers, have a life. I have a job, I have school, I have personal things to do.
Im truly sorry if you thought writing fanfiction was the only thing I did in my every day life, but sadly, writing fanfiction doesnt take care of my bills. It is a hobby, and sometimes, hobbies need to be put on the back burner until the shit storm that is your life has settled so that you may enjoy them again.

What can I say, the horrors (life) always finds a way to make everything worse and then all of a sudden Im filled with whimsy and the need to write about some man being touch starved and angsty 😌
But god, right? My burn outs are month(s) long affaires and during it, my brain entirely cannot find the WILL to even write a goddamn shopping list. How long had he been alone? Ages? Decades? Sure, he had was always surrounded by people of the Clergy and of the Church but that simple fact could never stop how truly and utterly alone he felt inside.
At first he hadn’t realized it as much when he was a simple Cardinal, far too busy was he to dwell on such silly things, instead always running left and right to distract himself.
He had thought that perhaps finding himself between a willing partners thighs would help but it had not; infact, it had only worsened it all, finding himself unable to conjure the spark that would have brought him to completion.
But now? As Papa? He felt it even more, clawing at him whilst he lay in bed, consuming every crevice in his mind like a parasite.
He did what any man would do in his position: he prayed, prayed to his Unholy God, words always seeming to tumble out of his mouth like a nervous teenager about to have their first kiss.
