Summary: Murphy's existence post-Disappearance was pretty bleak. Sure, he had his own bakery, and, yeah, he didn't have to worry about his mom's drinking anymore, or studying for math tests, but the fire that came from his hands had blistered and burned his skin beyond any repair that even the best training that any of the kids with babysitter first aid could do and had left them useless and constantly in pain. He couldn't do the baking for his store, or even wash his hair.
And then Clarke came to town!

The dragon and her knight ch1
(263 yrs ago)
a young girl who looked about 12 or 13 sat in a tent looking at specimens her Father found on the new planet,similar to earth,yet the child couldn't shake her bad feeling.
Nova Lightbourne was the girls name,her and her family have been on planet alpha for 21 days.
The family consisted of Her,her older sister josephine,and her parents russel and simone lightbourne.
"Josephine dad wants you!" Nova yelled for her sister outside the tent,she was most likely with gabriel.
"Look who I found." her mother said,Josephine in tow,Nova whined when she messed up her hair.
"I am perfectly capable of talking to my daughters alone." russell said to his wife.
"Uh-huh, also perfectly
overprotective and possibly megalomaniacal." Simone said.
"Possibly?" Josephine said,Nova gave her father a "Shes right look".
"Stop with the hair,and Nova stop making kissy faces at Josie." Russell said to the girls.
One thing Nova loved to do was Mess with Josephine anout her relationship with gabriel.
"Dad, busy." Josie said her eye twitching at Nova,who snickered.
"Really? How many species have you cataloged today?"
"17, still only 3 evolutionary branches -- insect, rodent, and reptile. A few of the weirder ones are hard to classify, so I created a new taxonomic category -- Guaiwu." Josephine said.
"Hah! I beat you,I catolaloged 20." Nova said,given she was one of the youngest of the eligiouse III she did what any child did,explore.
Josephine tried to hide her smile,but failed ruffling her sisters hair.
"Hey!" Nova exclaimed.
"Guaiwu?" Their mother said.
"Freaks in Chinese. Well, Mandarin, to be exact. One of them eats a berry that tastes like cotton candy." Josephine said,Nova started drawing in her journal.
But when she does its like a daze,ever since they came to alpha,she would draw
somthing and it usually happend,but this time she was scared.
Because this time,on the page the drawing showed nothing but death,her sister and mother being one of them.
She snapped out of her daze when her mother spoke.
"You tried it? Josie, how many times do I need to tell you-- " Simone said concerned.
"I didn't try it,I made the kids do it,Leelee And Nova loved it."
"How long ago?"Simone said,checking her youngest for anything.
" Mom, if it were poisonous, they'd be dead by now." Josie said,Nova put her hand over her heart giving her an offended look.
"Mhmm,I'll go check on them, Get me a sample to analyze."simone said,going outside.
"What?" Josephine asked as their father stared.
"Do you remember when I told you why I became an astronomer?" Russell said,playfully glaring when his youngest groaned.
" Oh, here we go. Yes. You wanted to prove there's no God Too bad Nietzsche beat you to it when he said, 'Gott Ist Tot' -- 'God is dead'. Can I go now?" Josephine said to their father.
"What would you say if I told you that being here in this miraculous place makes me question that?" russell
" I'd say, not everything that's miraculous is a miracle." Josephine said,Nova just stared at her sister as her father spoke.
"Hey, give Dr. Santiago some space, okay? I'm serious, kiddo. We're building a sanctuary for the human race here. Last thing I need is a brokenhearted geneticist. Copy?" Russell said,Nova made kissy faces at Josephine,laughing when she tickled her.
"Nova and I have a name for this place." Josie said changing the subject.
"I don't know. I think Alpha is pretty hard to beat." Their dad said.
"The latin root of sanctuary." josie stared.
"Sanctum!" Nova exclaimed,doing the jaz hands.
" Josephine Ada Lightborne and Nova Prim lightbourne, I do believe you two just named our new world,Serious about Gabriel, josie." Their dad said,Nova groaned as her hair was once again messed up.
And with that Nova ran off.
A cave that glowed red attracted the girl,feeling a calling.
As she walked further into to the cave she almost shit herself,a fucking dragon stared right at her,yes a dragon a real one.
She would run for it,but she was frozen,and two she rather not be eaten.
The dragon snorted,and put its face near hers,Nova could see eggs lay beneath the large beast.
"Your beautiful,Im sensing your a girl so What about the name,sapphire?" Nova asked.
The dragon nuzzled her large head against the girls cheek.

When Nova heard a Loud boom Sapphire started freaking out,Nova said her goodbyes and rushed to camp.
The bad feeling never left her stomach.
"Josie,Gabe! What was that?" Nova yelled to her sister and Gabriel,Josephine brought her sister under her arm.
"Have you ever heard anything like that before?" Gabriel.
" No one has,It was a sonic anomoly probably caused by molecular vibrations in the air and trees. Where's my dad? He'll know what I'm talking about. Mom? Mom! Mom, mom... Dad, what are you doing?" Josephine yelled.
Nova froze as her parents came out of the tent,her mother first,falling to the ground as josephine held her.
Nova let out a scream when their father slashed at her,a long cut ran from her neck to her left arm,it would leave a scar.
Josephine pushed Nova when their father slashed at her again,this time it was josephine's neck.
Nova screamed launching herself backwards as josephine fell to the ground,she cried rushing behind a tree.
"Sanctum is mine. Sanctum is mine. " Russel chanted,shooting his gun.
"Run! Run!" Gabriel yelled,as he and others ran.
Nova ran for the cave,were sapphire awaited.
Russel killed or injured the other members of Eligiouse III.
"Sanctum is mine!" Their father yelled.
Josephine was glad her little sister was safe,her heart started to give out.
Nova made it to the cave crying,sapphire awoke from her slumber,licking the girls wound.
"What am I gonna do now?" Nova cried,her father still out their,the red sun passing hours later.

Suddenly laughter was heard as the group looked at a stairway,a woman with hair that was as white as snow with a tinge of blonde stood at the top with a child besides her.
Bellamy and her locked eyes,and instead of focusing on Murphy,who looked beyond saving,he focused on her.
More children rushed out laughing,The women rushed towards them,her face amazed.
She glared at the cuffs put on Kaylee,who they
group took prisoner.
"Its okay rose,dont be afraid." Kaylee said.
Rose was one of the children of santum,she was one of Nova's favorites,then again she was her god daughter .
Two roars,a Purr like sound,and a howl scared the group,As a lion,Panther,and a wolf came out of one of the buildings crouching by Nova.
When bellamy looked close he saw a dragon around her neck,you would only see them in stories or fantasy movies,and here one was.
"Im Nova,Nova Lightbourne,welcome to sanctum."
The family from the picture,one of the names on the spine of the book,it was her,although in the picture she was younger,and she should have been around 200,as in not alive.
Are time difference's possible on different planets? The group thought.

I wasn't gonna publish this yet because im still working on other stories,but then I realized That this one is gonna have like thirteen chapters for 2 acts and some extra chapters,and would be completed before those.
Also Nova isn't to much of a talker,like she is but she isn't,i dont think she's gonna have alot of dialoge in the first few chapters,cause Im trying to fit her into the story,and tryna figure out ,does she say this or that,you feel me.
Writing is fun,but it can also be a hassle lmao.

Can I just talk about this for a second? Josie came in the room to talk to her dad about Clarke still kicking and a way to get her out. BuT the entire time she is in the room she doesn’t stop giving bell this look. Josie is a cocky and impatient person. So why didn’t she just demand to speak to daddy once she walked in? Why clear her throat for a second to get his attention but make no other move after that? We think Clarke is just controlling her finger. But I think she forced Her body to cross her arms. Focus on bell to get HIS attention so that he could see the Morse code. And bell! Omg! Him getting the Morse code is genius but he took a look at Josie just staring at him. Noticed something was up. Saw her finger and KNEW that that was an odd thing for Josie to do. He spotted that easily because he knows Clarke and notices all the little differences between the two. In 24 hours I think bell learned a lot about Josie’s mannerisms to remind himself that it’s not Clarke and THATS how he knew something was different!

I see sooo many people talking about how Bellamy will be the one to figure out that Clarke isn’t Clarke, but Josephine. While I’m a Bellarke shipper, I love that idea, but I wholeheartedly do not think it will be Bellamy. I think he might be annoyed with Clarke, but it won’t be him that puts it together.
Remember this scene? (I couldn’t find the gif I was looking for, so this will have to do)
Madi said that she sees Clarke needing her help. Gaia says that is impossible because Clarke is still alive and her conciousness is back in her own body. So she can’t be in the flame.
GUYS THIS IS FORESHADOWING AT ITS FINEST.
Do you know who I think is going to figure out that Clarke is Josephine? Madi freaking Griffin. Since Clarke’s conciousness is no longer in her body, I think she’s going to be fighting for Madi’s favor in the flame and that’s how Madi figures out that Clarke isn’t in her own body. Gaia won’t believe her because Madi has already cried wolf that she sees Clarke. So who does she go to next? Bellamy. It’s the logical next step. Bellamy is the closest person to Clarke other than her, so it makes sense. But I would also like to think she talks about it to Abby since Abby and Bellamy would understand Clarke-isms.
Ultimately, I think this season is going to come down to Madi. They have Clarke alive in the flame and they have Clarke’s body. This season is all about battling your demons and Clarke is on her own in the flame. I don’t know if Lexa will be back, but I think there’s a possibility especially if Clarke is battling for Madi’s favor in the flame. I think she’ll win the favor (killing the other commanders) and Madi makes the decision to put her flame in Clarke. I feel that’s the only way we will get Clarke back.
