ROTTEN GOES FULL RAMONES IN '76.

NOTE: Once again, wishing a happy 68th birthday to John Lydon on this day.

Probably the first and last time John ever went for the full-blown RAMONES look, and I've read in the past that he wasn't the biggest fan of the RAMONES matching leather jackets choice of style. Apparently, he found it too limiting and uniform.

do you think that if sid and nancy never met they’d both still be alive or maybe live a little bit longer? because from what i’ve read they seemed like they were doomed for each other

Just my opinion of course, but I think Nancy was pretty set on dying before 21, with Sid or not. She was in a lot of emotional pain. They had a suicide pact that seemed to be her idea. Then again, she apparently called her mom for help with getting her and Sid into rehab on their last phone call days before her death. She admitted to her mom Sid was abusing her then, as well. I think she wanted help but didn't think she'd be able to remain sober and be happy. She was successful with methadone in around 1975 or 76 for a little while, but fell back into H. As for Sid, yeah I think he may have lived a bit longer, maybe, but not by much. He was shooting speed and drinking before he knew Nancy, and I think his mom had a horrible influence on him with her heroin addiction. She even gave Sid speed and needles for his birthday, if John Lydon is to be believed.

Height: 1,70 m (5′6)

Hobbies: I like to draw, I usually do some sketches of things that surround me or I copy pictures. I’m writing poems, songs and all of my thoughts into a diary. I like to sing, I only sing my favorite songs when nobody’s home, but I think that’s a huge lie, because I sing all the time. As well as dancing. I like to dance, club dances, free moves, contemporary, whatever it’s called, I always dance when I listen to my music. I do have a guitar, but I don’t play, only know couple of chords, I don’t have any motivation for it, but I do take care of it. I also collect vinyl records, only originals, I don’t like remastered ones. I am collecting fashion magazines for some time. I also enjoy riding my bike around my area while listening to music.

Favorite Color: Green

Favorite Books: I guess the one I have recently finished, is “A Clockwork Orange” by Anthony Burgess. It was lighter and funnier than everything I’ve read in a while. It was playful and hilarious with all of those russian words, i had to think while reading what every word meant, and when I realized something, it was like tiny happiness. It’s ironic to say such positive things about a book full of rage and good old ultra-violence, but it is ironic on it’s own. This book is pretty special for me right now.

Last Movie I Watched: It was “I think We’re Alone Now” (2018) dir. Reed Morano. I had to watch it twice. The first time I almost scrolled it through, but then something caught my attention. The fact that there’s so little dialogues between characters, and I wanted to understand it. The second time i liked it, everything fell into places, frames, music and idea. It is unusual and it is good.

Dream Job: I am searching myself right now. I have so much to give. But I am not sure where to put all of this aspiration into. I’m having a break from annoying world full of teachers that always tell you that you won’t succeed, but when you do, quietly praise you behind the back, but never in the face. I am searching something that will open, fulfill me, give me purpose and wings, where I research all the aspects of my potentials. Of course I’d like to be a film director. I’d like to find companions that understand me.
