Thanks to Baki's creator for making Smokin Joe Krasier " Smokin' " Joe Frazier was a real life heavyweight world champion with a record of 29-0 before losing to George. Joe was the first man to beat Muhammed Ali, Joe later lost to George Foreman Muhammed then beat George and rematched Joe 2 more times where Muhammed won Joe only ever lost to George and Muhammed, a legendary boxer! George Foreman: The only man I ever feared in the ring was.. Smokin' Joe Frazier! Muhammed Ali: If god ever calls me to a holy war I want Joe Frazier with me Joe fought in 15round bouts and had a endless gas tank, always pushing forward, never stopped attacking, overwhelming you untill he knocked you out. He was known for hes relentless style of boxing, he would stick close to you with a peek-a-boo style simmilar to Mike Tyson, Joe would lay into you with heavy bodyshots, uppercuts and short hooks while always keeping close waiting for the head to be unguarded to setup hes monster left hook. He wasn't some genetic monster either, he was blind in 1 eye and had a shorter right arm never mentioned anything before he retired. ...A true warrior with a big heart and unbreakable iron will... RIP - " Smokin' Joe Frazier "Show less
"If you cheat in the dark of the morning, you'll get found in the bright lights of the night." - Joe Frazier
What Ali did to Fraizer was unforgivable. Only a real man like Fraizer could forgive such betrayal. Unlike so many champions who became champions because of God given talents, Fraizer became a champion because he paid his dues and earned every fight he won, and lost. He was and will probably remain the most unappreciated and underrated heavyweight champion in history with, perhaps, the exception of Lennox Lewis, whose career seems to have been an eerie replay of the Joe's struggle for the cruel and fickle hearts of boxing fans. But, as anyone who has ever had to fight an opponent so adored and enamoured by his fans that they see you as no more than a bug to be crushed under their hero's foot, it is that hero's respect that matters the most. Joe Fraizer earned that respect the day he beat Ali where it counted the most: in the ring. RIP Mr Fraizer, for you earned your place as a champion and there are many who will always remember you for that.Show less
well the thing that Ali did was, despite being a supposed civil rights icon, that he attacked Fraizer for being "uglier, dumber and blacker" than him, and that's after Fraizer, quite graciously actually supported Ali and helped him return to the sport. It's extremely hypocritical and ungrateful. Fraizer helped him, only for Ali to try to use Joe head as a springboard while saying "later, loser". It completely torpedos the mythic persona of Ali as this great man of virtue. Like you can make the argument that Ali was just selling the fight, but the counterpoint to that is that if Ali really cared about his fellow blacks and how they're looked at by the rest of the world, then maybe he wouldn't try to destroy public perception of another black man who objectively came from even worse circumstances just to squeeze even more money out of the media circus. It's dishonorable.Show less

RICHARDSON HITCHINS: I SEE MYSELF BEING A LEGEND IN BOXING
Richardson Hitchins has told Matchroom’s Flash Knockdown podcast he’s on the path to becoming a legend in the sport – and the next step on that journey sees him mix with former World title challenger Jose Zepeda at the Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida, on Saturday, September 23, live worldwide on DAZN.
Flash Knockdown - Season 3 Episode 3 is out now via all streaming platforms, including Apple and Spotify by searching ’The Matchroom Boxing Podcast’ or by listening on the following link: https://pod.fo/e/1e96a7   TICKETS FOR ORLANDO ARE ON SALE NOW AT TICKETMASTER.COM
Hitchins (16-0 7 KOs) is full of confidence ahead of his first headline act and is fresh off the back of shining at home in his last outing, putting New Jersey’s John Bauza on the canvas during a shut-out win at Madison Square Garden, and the Brooklyn ace now lurks with intent at #6 with the WBO and #7 with the IBF in the 140lb rankings.    Zepeda (36-3 27 KOs) represents a significant barrier to Hitchins’ plans to move into World title contention though, but Hitchins believes that the Californian, who has challenged for World titles at both 135 and 140lbs, is the perfect opponent to prove that he’s ready to    “Now my foot is in the door, headlining my first show against someone who has a great name in the division,” said Hitchins. “It shows my pedigree and skills that I display to get to this part of the journey.   “Zepeda has competed on the World stage. It’s a level up from my previous opponents, but if I am who I believe I am, I should win this fight and possibly get him out of there.   “There’s a lot on the line right now, but I’m not focused on the belts. My job is to go out there and dominate Zepeda and show who I am, then, we can look at the landscape of the division.   “I see myself being a legend of the sport, who has mastered the craft of boxing. I want to inspire the next generation, if you see the progression in my career from my amateur status to now, I can relate to the young talent coming through.”   Hitchins also reveals how a visit from Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis boosted his preparations and gives his pick for the potential showdown between Regis Prograis and Devin Haney. The episode also features World title challenger John Ryder talking targeting Gennadiy Golovkin and Jaime Munguia, IBF and Ring Magazine champion Jai Opetaia talks his upcoming defense against Jordan Thompson, leading trainer Jamie Moore picks his perfect dinner party lineup in Food Fight, and commentator royalty Mike Costello takes another trip down memory lane with a certain Smokin’ Joe Fraizer, plus there’s a cameo from Eddie Hearn and more!   Hitchins’ clash with Zepeda is part of a stacked night of action in Orlando, with the Welterweight division will move one step closer to crowning an undisputed champion on the night as WBA and WBC champion Jessica McCaskill (12-3 5 KOs) and WBO belt holder Sandy Ryan (6-1 2 KOs) meet for three of the belts.    Austin ‘Ammo’ Williams (14-0 10 KOs) press his claims for World title action at Middleweight as he tackles Steve Rolls (22-2 12 KOs), and will Orestes Velazquez (7-0 6 KOs) will defend his WBA International Super-Lightweight title to kick off the main card against Mohamed Soumaoro (13-1 6 KOs).   Khalil Coe (6-0-1 4 KOs) continues to rise through the ranks at Light-Heavyweight, and ‘Big Steppa’ headlines the Before The Bell action and will be looking for his third KO win of 2023 against Kenmon Evans (10-1-1 3 KOs). Super-Welterweight Jeovanny Estella (12-0 3 KOs) and Super-Flyweight Jasmine Artega (10-0-1 5 KOs) tasting action over eight rounds while Bantamweight Roberto Rivera Gomez (3-0 2 KOs) kicks the whole night off over four rounds, with all three fighters to be matched imminently.

The Shaolin Samurai: The Wu-Tang Clan plays baseball
Tumblr media
This week I wanted to something different for my birthday baseball entry. Everyone who knows me personally knows that my favorite band or group is the Wu-Tang Clan. If I were to die tomorrow, what will be etched on my gravestone would be, “Cubs Baseball and Wu-Tang Clan, Forever” It is unfortunate that I did not record this on a Wu-Wednesday, but it is even more redeeming that I am posting it on my birthday. We are going to give you the starting lineup for the Shaolin Samurai, the hottest hip-hop baseball team with Witty Unpredictable Talent and Natural Game!
LF- Inspectah Deck: Batting leadoff for the Samurai is Inspectah Deck, the quick lyricist who knows how to get on base at an effective pace. He smoke with a bat like smoking Joe Fraizer, the “hell raiser” raising hell with the flavor threatening pitchers to Protect Ya Neck as he inspects every pitch putting up a good fight in the batter’s box. With fantastic left field acrobatics, he can channel his superhero form CZARFACE and is capable of throwing out runners heading for home with his laser for an arm. CZARFAZE is capable of those late game heroics, starting that rally in order for the Samurai to be able to win in walk-off fashion.
SS- Raekwon: The “Chef” Raekwon is cooking up some fast tracked lyrics and is batting second for some power hitting and extra base hits. With his style Only Built 4 Cuban Linx…the Chef had a great deal of flair in his playing form with his exposure playing in the Cuban league during the off season. Raekwon’s flow of his style has brought enough fame in a game when hit for the cycle and even made a spectacular catch that everyone refers to as The Lex Diamond Story and the fan favorite nickname as Shallah Diamond. Using his Shaolin Style and his Cuban form, the Chef will be lethal on base with extra base hits and forcing runs home.
1B- Method Man: The popular face of the Wu-Tang Clan is batting in the third slot. Method Man plays as the first baseman also known as Johnny Blaze is a Blackout performer, always performing on both sides of the plate and delivering fulfilling entertainment for the fans in the stands. Meth is most famous for his game on 4:21...The Day After Game where he crushed three home runs that rallied the team to victory for the Samurai. A key asset to this team, the rest of the Clan refers to him as the Tical Teammate for his amazing playing style and how he always keep the team in better spirits.
2B- Ghosface Killah: The all-star of the Wu-Tang Clan brings all the right tools to the game as the fast- playing, hard hitting, and emotional player on this entire roster. Ghostface is the most essential part of this offense and defense of the Samurai with his major contribution of what he delivers for each game. Batting cleanup spot in the order, the “Murderer’s Row” of this hitter is known as the Wu-Massacre if Meth and Rae are hot and on base. For his passion and dedication to the game, he is better known as the Ironman, due to his stellar performance with what he contributes towards the game. Without Ghostface, this unit would not be as sufficient or talented.
C- Ol’ Dirty Bastard: First thing first, you are messing with the worst. The Brooklyn folk hero who is foundation that holds the entire Wu-Tang Clan together. Ol’ Dirty Bastard is the slugging backstop that makes the most wild plays that throws the opposition into complete confusion before he strikes in his eccentric playing performance. His unpredictable playing style has brought the demise to his opponents, dubbing him the nickname Osiris. Batting fifth in the order, Ol’ Dirty will always bring the entertainment halfway through the order. ODB also has a soft spot for younger fans in the crowd, and he has high enthusiasm for the Samurai and what they do in the community. After all, he always said that Wu-Tang Clan is for the children.
3B- RZA: The captain of the Wu-Tang Clan, RZA holds down the hot corner and bats sixth in the order for the Shaolin Samurai. His razor sharp antics has some of the best defense on the ball diamond, and they are almost Gold Glove worthy. RZA’s fast movement at the plate takes skill that is out of this world, and a typical line drive from him is like a Digital Bullet. His creativity on and off the baseball field and his swift ninja movement had his teammates dub him with the nickname Bobby Digital. RZA is a dedicated, natural leader, and always provides ways for his team to succeed. His contribution to the team is alone is what make the team a full dynamically diverse group of players and pushes them forward into being the best team around.
CF- Masta Killa: Another featured team member that is Made in Brooklyn, Masta Killa is a good contributor to the Samurai. Along with fellow outfielder U-God, he is a master in the art of Chessboxing in what he contributes on both sides of ball. With his influence not as strong as the rest of his teammates off of the field, he often reminds the supporters that Loyalty is Royalty and all their success is celebrated together as a unit. Masta Killa has one of the best Shaolin styles of the Wu-Tang Clan, as he keeps it sharp and dangerous as key defensive asset in the outfield.
RF- U-God: The mastermind of contact hitting with the mysterious style of U-God gives a unique dynamic to the Samurai. U-God sharpened his defensive skills in right field with his skills in Chessboxing which still remains a mystery on what he developed his mechanics from. A run never advances when given the opportunity to stop the runner from the outfield. When the Samurai are down in the game, they can always rely on U-God’s on base capability in order to have a lead off runner in the start of late innings. It is true Dopium what he is capable to deliver with his bat and lethal lyrics.
SP- GZA: The Genius pitcher that has a full arsenal of pitches gives GZA the opportunity to dominate in most scenarios. Being a strong student of the game, his genius intellect always knows what pitches to throw against each specific opponent. The mound is not the only place on the baseball field where GZA dominates, for he is just as witty with a bat as well. Naming his most reliable bat Liquid Swords, GZA dominates as a home run hitting pitcher because he knows pitching better than his opponent does. He has all the Pro Tools as an MVP and/or Cy Young winning caliber player for the Samurai. As a spiritual leader, GZA holds second rank behind RZA as co-captain of the Wu-Tang Clan.
It would be amazing to see this fantasy baseball team take the diamond in the 36 Chambers of Shaolin. At the peaks of the hip-hop group’s breakout appearance in the early 1990s, it would have been great to see another major New York baseball team from another borough. I can never forget what Wu-Tang Clan has contributed in the history of hip-hop, and it would be a dream to see if they ever inspire any styles in baseball. Who knows, maybe a future player will adapt a Shaolin style to his batting stance and laces line drives with ultimate flair.

TAGGED BY:  found & stolen. TAGGING: @saturnrang, @falsedking, @valinta + whoever come across this.
►   GENERAL.
HEIGHT:  5′8  —  previously 5′6. After being bitten by the genetically-altered “42″ Spider, his stature is elongated by two inches. WEIGHT:  160 lbs — Miles is an ectomorph; it’s mostly maintained because of his obligatory participations in gym classes, playing basketball with the neighborhood every now and again after school, and the rare times he can sneak off for urban exploration or play around with his uncle’s punching bag. He doesn’t exactly have the greastest diet plan. ETHNICITY:  African-American && Afro-Puerto Rican. OCCUPATION:  Freelance photographer, explorer, artist, F.E.A.S.T. (Food, Emergency, Aid, Shelter, and Training) volunteer, Brooklyn Vision student, convenience store cashier, Dream Defender, and vigilante. GENDER:  Cis-male. He/him. ROMANTIC AND SEXUAL ORIENTATION:  Heterosexual & Demiromantic. MBTI:  ENFP- the champion. Miles know how to relax, and he is perfectly capable of switching from a passionate, driven idealist in the workplace to that imaginative and enthusiastic free spirit on the dance floor, often with a suddenness that can surprise even his closest friends. Being in the mix also gives him a chance to connect emotionally with others, giving him cherished insight into what motivates his friends and colleagues. He believe that everyone should take the time to recognize and express their feelings, and their empathy and sociability make that a natural conversation topic.
Few personality types are as creative and charismatic as ENFPs. Their enthusiasm and vivid imagination allow ENFPs to overcome many challenging obstacles, more often than not brightening the lives of those around them. ENFPs’ creativity is invaluable in many areas, including their own personal growth.
►   SPECIFICS.
FAVOURITE FOOD:  Pasteles, Empanada, Chicharon de pollo, Pop-Tarts, Platanos, Chopped Cheese, Nathan’s Famous’ hotdogs, Aunt Butchie’s Desserts (chocolate mousse preferably), Chinese food, and Ray’s Pizza. FAVOURITE DRINK:  He enjoys his uncle’s Whey protein drinks, but you’ll mostly see him drinking sodas, Gatorade, O.J., and water.  FAVOURITE HOBBY:  Vandal by nature, Miles loves snagging Priority Mail and Hello, My Name Is stickers to practice his art and toss his mark up wherever and whenever he can. Other than that, he plays mental gymnastics for fun when it comes to math problems. If he’s not doing that, then he’s fooling around with programs like Audacity, Sony Vegas, or FL Studio.
But the activity he feels most at peace at is when he’s isolated in his room or hanging around a building as Spiderman, writing in his journal. FAVOURITE SCENT:  Vanilla, Sandalwood, Shea Moisture Manuka and Yogurt. FAVOURITE PERSON:  Ganke. Miles never had a brother (a reality he yearned his parents make happen), but Ganke gives him an idea as to how it would be if he did have a biological brother.
►   TEN FACTS.
Miles is an only child. “Born” on December 14th, 2003.
He’s Catholic.
Adaptability comes as second nature to Miles. In two days, he managed to survive his near-death experiences as he tangled with some of the best of the original Spiderman’s villains.
Miles use to cry Martin Luther King Day because the television and radio would play clips of his speeches, and he thought sounded like a ghost.
Until he reached the age of ten, Miles had irritable bowel syndrome and would crap his pants every so often.
He owns an Atari, Sega, and Nintendo console passed down to him from his father.
One of his favorite shows is American Ninja Warrior.
Calculus is one of his favorite subjects. Numbers, symbols, and alphabets is a challenge that he can never tire from.
There’s an unshakable habit he has and that’s speaking his thoughts out loud, much to his chagrin.
His facial features mostly resemble his father and his uncle, which is can be considered a blessing and a curse, depending on the environment he’s in. Because the Davis brothers dark past had them as hustlers, stick-up kids, and graffiti artists, and their lives would take a drastic turn in where one becomes a cop and the other went on to become a boxer, the name Davis is enough to put a sour taste on the tongues of certain circles. It’s a fleeting love-hate thing he has for it.
►   FIVE THINGS HE LIKES.
VIDEO GAMES  —  Jefferson was never comfortable with sharing his questionable deeds on the streets with his son, but he was more than excited to share his childhood glory with him. He couldn’t wait until Miles was old enough to have a controller in his hand. Miles is “heir” to a collection of dated collection. He likes modern consoles too, as he does own both a XBOX ONE and PLAYSTATION 4, but he prides in being a ‘young old soul’. GRAFFITI  —  It just kind of happened? He wasn’t messing with actual spraypaint because he’s too young to cop them from Home Depot, so he stuck to just stacking up on stickers and using that until he’s legally able to buy his own. HIP-HOP  —  That’s New York. Hip-Hop was born there. Miles passionately embraces the main four elements that represents its culture: Emceeing, DJING, Graffiti Art, Breakdancing and integrates the other five in how he moves. Street fashion, language, entrepanuership, knowldge, beatboxing, Hip-Hop is something he lives.  BOXING  — We can thank Aaron for his interest in that. Aside from the man’s criminal resume, Aaron graduated from neighborhood bruiser to professional boxer. His had a impeccable record before he hung up his gloves, but the passion he had for the sport stayed with him and any chance he got with his newphew, it would show when he would spit game on the greats like Mohammad Ali, Joe Fraizer, Dixie Kid, Jack Dempsey, Tyson, and others and teach him a few of his old moves.  CLEANING SNEAKERS —  It’s nothing deep. You watch Paid in Full a couple of times and add your love for that movie to your natural love of keeping your gear fresh and you get a sneakerhead that’s addicted to keeping his kicks mean and pristine.
►   FIVE THINGS HE DISLIKES.
PEER PRESSURE  —  His hood didn’t have too many stars. There were plenty of potential there, but due to unfortunate circumstances, they make it out, but Miles—everybody regards him as the gold representation. Because of his upbringings, Miles is sort of hood royalty in a positive sense. On one hand, he enjoys it appreciation, but on the other hand, he hates it because his father doesn’t make it easy on him at all. He doesn’t judge his father for doing what he had to do in the streets to survive, but he hates his father for shoving his demons down his throat. Becoming Spiderman was nothing to leap for him to leap excitedly over either. Being stressed with being the “good son”, the “golden boy” of his neighborhood, and acing studies was enough as is. Since Peter Parker and his uncle’s murder, he felt tremendous guilt over not being able to help, and with his abilities, he feels strong on his moral obligation to do what he can to be New York’s protector. It’s not the easiest weight for a teenager to carry. E X P E C T A T I O N S! eff dem! UNDERESTIMATED  — In school, he dealt with a teacher that regarded him and kids like him as trash that would never be able to amount to anything. The Spider-gang didn’t think he had what it takes, making him feel as if he was a burden and incapable of being strong enough to keep his promise to his universe’s Peter Parker. He doesn’t do well with people acting like he can’t do anything. TALES FROM THE HOOD  — Doesn’t particularly care to hear about criminal exploits, especially the ones his family participated in. Some kids would love to hear about how hard their peers went in the street—Miles isn’t one of them. If anything, he wishes he was oblivious to it and didn’t have to hear one related word to it. That’s one thing he’s thankful for when it comes to his dad and Aaron. They never bragged or felt inclined to share gorey details and for good reason. Miles know they and everyone else want better for him. LYING —  His mama raised him to be a honest boy. His pops raised him to be a man of principle. His uncle instilled street honor in him. Other than that? Miles naturally hates lying. It doesn’t make him feel good and can actually make him a serious nervous wreck if it gets to be too much for him.  FIGHTING  —  Even though he was taught self-defense and enjoyed his boxing lessons, Miles avoided conflict as much as he could. He preferred to just be that cool guy that can make friends with the whole world and keep it pushing. He accepts that it’s unavoidable as a superhero, but that doesn’t stop him from trying to come to a peaceful resolve before the situation gets nasty.
►   WORDS / PHRASES THAT ANNOY HIM.
CLASSISM —  I know it’s not a word/phrase, so I’ll just say toxic braggadocio statements. When it comes to skin color, religion, abilities (supernatural or mortal), lienage, whatever—Miles views them all as people that share the same oxygen and should treat each other like they’re aware of that. Being made to feel like a sub-human aggravates him more than he cares to admit (he once broke his classroom desk because of his teacher constant poking at the african diaspora).
►   PERSONALITY TYPES HE PREFERS.
FREE SPIRITS —  Chilled souls; people that are down to do whatever they please (in a healthy, non-violent way), and exudes positive energy. It’s nice to be around individuals that understands what it means to have fun without restrictions and not people that live by some book like his father. You can miss him with those that feels like they have to be tight asses all the time.
►   PERSONALITY TYPES HE AVOIDS.
GOD COMPLEX —  Kingpins/drug lords/gang leaders/criminal upstarts, just people that play God in the streets, dictating who lives and dies, just because they have a gun and have a little bit of power. There’s not a doubt in his mind that there will be elements in the underworld that’s going to try to seduce him to the life. It’s a mission of his to not fall into the same darkness that stained the Davis name. You will never see Miles becoming close friends with a thug or a wannabee. He’ll try to steer them clear of it and be a moral compass of course, but having that as a part of his inner circle is a big no.
