anything ghost of Tsushima I am starving 😫, but maybe a one shot where Jin reminisces on Iki island abt marrying reader? Since on iki he was always thinking abt the past and stuff.
A/n: Iki Island was so much fun to play, Jin’s past made me so sad so this is gonna be some happy memories of the reader and Jin
Note: I made it so the reader is originally from Iki island.
Memories are in italics
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Biting your tongue you watched as your husband pack, you wanted to beg him not to leave but you couldn’t; you knew he had to stop this from reaching the main land. You just hoped he would get back before the birth of his second child, you knew how hard it was for him when he missed the birth of his son.
Stepping forward you wrapped your arms around his waist hugging him from behind, a kiss to his cheek though you just wanted to commit his scent to your memory. “You will come back to me…Ryuzo….will need his father.”
Grabbing your fingers, Jin gently kissed the tips though he was scared to turn around, scared because he felt like he wouldn’t be able to leave once he saw you. “I will return.”
Taking a breath he then meet your eyes, his hand resting on your belly. “Promise me you’ll keep them safe.” While his gaze what was directed at her Yuna tipped her head.
“I will and good luck.”
With one last kiss, Jin forced himself to pull away and with one last look he was gone.
•+•
He should have expected that to happen, ended up on the beach with a now destroyed ship. Fist digging into the sand he forced himself to sand, another senseless death because of him.
No! He couldn’t think about this now, he had to remember something positive, something that will keep him going.Staring off, his gaze then met the Ocean, his mind now on a distant memory. Back when he first met you.
It was a giggle that snapped him out of his meditation and right now he could all most hear his fathers stern voice yelling at him. Turning to the source he wasn’t expecting to see a girl hiding behind a large rock. Wrinkling his nose he puffed out his cheeks then turned his head away.
He wasn’t about to let you be some distraction to his meditation.Though he nearly jumped out of his skin as your face suddenly came into view, a gasp leaving his lips as he fell back into the sand, another laugh leaving your lips. You looked to be the same age as him, give or take a year. The clothes you wore were nothing like the ones he was used to seeing, if we wanted to be honest they looked like rags. You had a playfulness in your eyes, the same playfulness he used to see in you mother. Jin couldn’t figure out why he was suddenly smitten with you but the moment he hand took yours his fate was already sealed.
Closing his eyes, Jin slowly stood up not realizing he had spent so long reminiscing. After that day he had meet you, you both had become fast friends. It did not matter you were from the island his father was trying to liberate, it did not matter that he came from wealth while you came from nothing. What mattered was that he finally found a friend on this island and now he didn’t have to feel so alone. Frowning he glanced down at his hand. “You never did like her…did you father.”
Jin wondered what would had happened if his father survived, would he even let you live or would he spare your life like his Uncle did allowing you to come his to the Estate to work with his great aunt. Working his jaw he then squeezed his eyes shut slowly making his way up the hill to search for his horse, he already knew the answer to that of course, with a dead Samurai at your feet, you wouldn’t have been spared.
Your scream was what made him dart through the camp as he dodged the fighters, he did not know where his father was but at the moment he did not care, you were all that mattered. Nearly stumbling into your home Jin looked at the blood on the ground, he just prayed it wasn’t yours. Walking forward he then froze in his tracks spotting one of his fathers men hovering above you, sword raised. He didn’t think at what he was about to do because if he did then it might be to late. Running at the Samurai he slammed his body into the man as hard as he could. It may not have done much but knock him off his feet but at least you were able to scramble away and the moment the man dropped his sword he had to act and had to act fast. His mother did tell him that he had to protect the ones he loved.
Another memory, one that wasn’t so happy either. Glancing down at his hands he could still feel the blood. Shaking his head he continued to fallow the tracts though a sigh escaped his lips this island was starting to affect him and he hasn’t even been here long. Gripping the hilt of his sword he rushed off to the cries of his horse, another memory slipping into his vision though he just hoped it’s a happy one.
“Jin!”
You both were older now, his Uncle having you work under his great aunt. Your parents becoming like his own. Slowly opening his eyes he managed to give you a smile. “Why is it when ever I’m trying to meditate you are interrupting me?”
“It’s a gift! You promised you would take me horse back riding later and it’s later”
A sigh escaped his lips as he tried not to smile but seeing how excited you were it was hard not too.
“Alright, I am coming but once we are done you have to join me.”
“Fine” rolling your eyes you gave Jin a playful smile then grabbed his hand tugging to the stables. “This going to be so much fun!”
Petting his horses mane, Jin was happy he was alive and well. He didn’t want to imagine your reaction to the horses death. “She truly loves you doesn’t she Nobu?”
The horse letting out a whinny as it pressed his snout into Jin’s palm.
“We will return soon.”
He missed you, missed his son and he wondered if he would ever get the chance to see his unborn child.Shaking his head he took a deep breath slipping on Nobu’s saddle then took off to his fathers fort, he will see you again.
•+•
Getting drugged on his list was not something he wanted to happen, struggling with what happened here on the island to his father. It was getting harder and harder to work through.slipping in a hut his fingers ran over a elegant comb, it remind him of the one you always wore.
A gift in asking for your hand in marriage, closing his eyes his hand tightened his grip on the comb. Oh how he was happy when you agreed to marry him and just this one time he was going to let himself slip into a happy memory.
His hands were slicked with sweat as he stood in front of your father, heart racing with what about he was going to ask. “I….I am here to ask for your daughters hand in marriage.”
Lowering his gaze he waited in silence until he heard the laughter. “Is that all boy?”
Jin let out a snort, he knew your parents could have asked for anything. Wealth, power, anything but they didn’t. The only thing they asked for was your happiness and he was determined to make that happen.
•+•
Flexing his fingers, Jin turned his attention to the vision of his father.
“You picked a whore….filth over your own father.”
Jin did his best not to flinch but it was true. He did not hesitate to save you, didn’t hesitate to pick up that fallen katana and run it through that Samurai that was about to kill you but with his father he hesitated.
“I will never be like you, I will not treat my son like how you treated me.”
Turning turning away from his father he closed his eyes. “Goodbye father.”
And it was all over, the visions, the guilt over his fathers death, it was all gone.
Turning to Tenzo he knelt down in front of the injured man though he was just happy he was still alive. “You once asked me if I have anyone important.” Taking a breath he smiled at the man. “I do…Y/n, I actually met her here…Perhaps….once things have settled I can bring her back home. Let my children step foot in their mothers home land.”
Tenzo let out a snort though a small smile formed on the man’s lips. “You’re a father? Are you not a little young?”
Shaking his head, Jin scratched his cheek. “We had our son rather young.” Something his Uncle wasn’t to fond about at first. “She was a beautiful bride.” Jin muttered.
It was true, you were indeed a beautiful bride. It was like you step out of painting with your white kosode kimono and uchikake.
Tipping his head to the man, Tenzo gave the Samurai a smile. “I would like to meet your family Jin.”
“I would like that too.”
•+•
Stepping off the boat, Jin slipped on Nobu’s saddle as his hands gripped the reins. “Let us go home Nobu.”
It did not take long for the man to get home nor did it take long to hear his son’s voice the man quickly got off his horse to catch his son.
“Father! You’re home!”
Closing his eyes Jin placed a kiss to the side of his sons head. “I am home.”
“Jin” glancing up he meet your gaze, holding his son he quickly rushed to you as he pulled you in for a hug. Your son protesting about being stuck in the middle of this affection.
“I kept my promise.”
Sniffling you just rested your face into his neck feeling his fingers gently run down your back as your son slipped out of Jin’s arms only to latch on his leg.
“And we couldn’t be more than happy.”

Headcanons for some of my favourite men in franchises (Games)
As I said I made more, and i need more ideas from games. However here are a few
Jacob Frye (ACS)
Tumblr media
Jacob loves being sarcastic. He often teases his S/O lady with his funny remarks, though he does his best to time them right
Jacob goes drinking with his S/O in order to have fun, and fight off any templar crooks who may try harming her
Even when he's older, his charismatic nature doesn't hide from his S/O. He let's her know by telling her jokes quietly or with letters filled with jokes
He boasts about his S/O to Evie though he used to tease her about 'Greenie'. However he does seem very compassionate about his S/O
Jin Sakai (GOT)
Tumblr media
Jin is pretty protective of his S/O. He let's her know this by holding her wrist in dangerous places or by holding his blade handle
Jin enjoys visiting hot springs with his S/O. Often to recover after his many battles with the Mongols and to get through his worries
Jin brings S/O with him to shrines they visit. Petting foxes is a must on their travels when passing through nature
Jin limits himself when drinking to make sure he's always sharp, but he let's S/O drink comfortably, even joking with her
Ignis Scientia (FFXV)
Tumblr media
Ignis often makes S/O her favourite dishes in order to avoid having to go to expensive places, also because S/O prefers his cooking
Ignis takes S/O around Altissia when possible, showing her the nicest areas and buys her small gifts with significant gifts
Health is important to Ignis. He makes sure his S/O is maintaining her health and staying clean
Even after losing his vision, he often let's his S/O know that it doesn't stop him from his old hobbies and he still does his best
Joseph Seed (FC5)
Tumblr media
Joseph often does bible studies with his S/O. They share their favourite verses together or discuss meanings
Joseph talks about his S/O to the followers, but mainly to his siblings. It's clear he loves her as he describes her in great measures
After the collapse, he'd probably live with his S/O. Enjoying the beauty of the Eden tree or the water from the waterfall
Joseph and his S/O would help the village against the highwayman as they'd have experience through the years against the foes

I’m Yours • Jin Sakai
Plot:
It’s just a little smut drabble of Jin. Takes places after Jin escapes from his uncle’s prison and meets up with everyone again. He felt overly frustrated and needy for his partner so he takes out the frustration out on him.
Pairing:
Jin Sakai x Male! OC (Name: Kuro)
Warnings:
Jin Sakai x FtM OC, FtM Smut, Hair Pulling, Edging, Confident Dom Jin, Begging, Possessive Jin if you squint, and gay shit.
Song:
Tumblr media
“Nervous, trip over my words,
you’re so pretty it hurt.”
____________________________________________
his nails dug into jin’s shoulders, the sting of it caused a low grunt to leave the samurai’s lips. “kuro… you feel so good.” he said, muffled against boy’s neck that lay beneath him.
jin kept his pace slow and teasing, wanting to make this moment last after he had been gone for a month and a half. their bodies craved each other, craved this. "jin... please, more." kuro said in a needy tone as he held jin close to his body.
kuro’s body burned like fire with passion and desire. the long month of fearing if jin was alive drove kuro mad. he had just gotten jin back on iki only to have him taken again. kuro has been frustrated but he could tell jin was more frustrated.
the samurai wasn’t one to showing his emotions due to his code, and he didn’t need to show it out right for kuro to know. the way jin was taking his time with his thrusts and the way he’d pull his fingers away from kuro’s clit everytime the thief grew close was enough for kuro to know.
jin could only chuckle and watch his lover’s face contort in pleasure as he noticed kuro reach the peak again…. only for jin to pull away and stop. “beg for it. beg for me.” one of jin’s hands moved to grasp a handful of kuro’s hair and pulled his head up so their lips could meet.
the kiss was feverish and messy but while still being loving. jin’s fingers moved skillfully between the slick folds that were dripping, throbbing, begging for a release. his two middle fingers moved up and down slowly, every now and then making small circles on the main nub of flesh that held the most pleasure.
jin’s cock was stuffed deep inside of kuro, only moving in and out slightly and slowly, making sure to hit kuro’s spot so agonizingly good.
drool fell from their mouths and down each other chins as they savored the raw kiss. jin kept a hold of kuro’s hair even as they pulled away, forcing the thief to hold eye contact with the samurai. “come on love, let me hear you beg for more. i can just do this all night and not let you release at all.” jin said in a confident tone. kuro knew he was being truthful.
kuro only whined and arched his back slightly, just hoping that jin would give in and fuck him senseless, but he knew that was nearly impossible. the samurai had too much patience and was going to do what he wanted in that moment.
“jin…” kuro started, his cheeks red and flushed, “please let me come. i’ve waited for you for a month and half! please… please! i’ve been so good for you and i can’t take much more!”
jin never lost the confident smirk on his face as he listened to his normally very bossy and independent boyfriend beg and be so needy. “you make some good points, maybe i should let you come.” he replied, leaning in to kiss kuro deeply once more.
jin removed his finger that was on kuro’s clit and moved it to wrap around his lover’s lower half to hold steady before moving his thrusts harder and deeper. moans were muffled against jin’s plump lips as kuro’s now overly sensitive cunt throbbed more. his walls were clenching around jin’s cock, causing the samurai to almost lose himself.
kuro had to pull away from the kiss to regulate his breathing as he felt himself grow close again. his head spun as it fell back against the straw beneath him. “jin!” he called out, his tone strained and whiny as he clenched around jin’s length and came hard.
jin’s eyes rolled back as he felt kuro close around him tighter, it was enough to draw him to an end. he stuffed himself deep into kuro before releasing his seed inside. jin’s head fell against the crook of kuro’s neck, his groans muffled by the skin.
the pair stayed like that to catch their breaths. the held onto each other like the other was going to disappear if they let go. “i love you.” jin was the first to speak, surprising kuro with his words.
“i love you too.” the thief admitted while cuddling into jin’s larger chest.

How different would Jin's life have been if the other samurai hadn't found him right away after his father's death?
Imagine Tenzo, the man who killed Kazumasa Sakai and whose wife and kid are dead, seeing the other raiders saying, "well, no one's coming for him, may as well kill the samurai brat."
Tenzo said his fight was with Kazumasa, not Jin. He wouldn't let the other raiders kill Jin, and they'd listen to him because he was the one who struck the killing blow to "the butcher of Iki".
By the time the samurai arrive, Kazumasa's body is cold and Jin is nowhere in sight.

ok but some selfish and abrasive g witch finale thoughts:
all these boohoos going on about how that shit sucked bc they were really expecting a kiss on screen and it didn't happen and how the execs chickened out of a """real gay rep""" just really tells me how much better we acespecs are at finding and telling a love story. like if fucking yuri on ice didn't/couldn't do it (I know this is a time slot thing and pls, we are talking about a production that happened in a country where the fucking nagano ruling is already considered monumental! try to imagine that if u can!!!!), what the fuck makes you think a gundam show will? and like, a kiss? really is the only way you'll believe two queer people are in love? so if you see two people who are out and out and they're just holding hands, you're not gonna believe they're in love??? come the fuck on, stranger
like let's give this the benefit of the doubt: execs wanted an onscreen kiss for the impact and the hashtag but censorship is homophobic and stuff. look, they went around it, didn't they?? eri identified herself as miorine's fucking sister-in-law, they have motherfucking rings, and they're living together???? and in so doing delivered an even more holistic couple??? and you're telling me that's not queer rep, that they're not in love, and that they owe it to you to explain their love story as if they didn't fucking spend 576 minutes telling it and almost literally even died for it??? like maybe at this point, people should just fing reevaluate their shallow grasp on romance and maybe even their inherent acephobia
am I stepping on toes here? yeah I'm fucking stepping on toes here but I wouldn't be me if I wasn't making enemies left and right, right? also you can't blame me for being angry about the way media has turned romance into a narrow checklist. I'm tired of that shit
in other news, after that roller-coaster ride of an anime, I think I'm suddenly prepared for anything the other animes I'm watching/games I'm playing can throw at me. character death? give it to me; my favorite character got a great ending in g witch so I'm happy to take a loss on another front. (and like come on, I was prepared for Jin Sakai to die until I realized that he was the mc of the DLC too which is a big duh on my part but anyway—) gay skater suddenly gets a girlfriend in the next season? give it to me, I don't care anymore. we'll all know it's fake anyway, we just need the money from the hetties
lastly and selfishly, I can finally work on my guel fanmix holy shit and boy am I glad I've been going on the right direction all along 😭😭😭 (guesule fanmix, don't worry, I have a hundred sad songs waiting for you, so you just sit right there and auntie liv will get to you soon 💖)

WHAT'S BEEN REQUESTED LAST
THIS IS NOT A TO-DO LIST, just a temporary list for people who have requested within the past month to check if their request came through. I'm cleaning this up at the start of every month. THESE ARE ALSO NOT NEXT IN LINE as they're NOT my only requests, the only purpose of this is people being able to check if their request came through, to lessen questions about it.
A full to-do list is a menace to upkeep on mobile but people keep asking after it or something like it, so here's the latter.
If you're interested what kind of fics are coming next, then check this list.
Starting from the oldest request I have from the past month:
April 11: Barley Lightfoot x reader where they're having a movie night. @cartoonykat
April 15: Kaz Brekker x fem!reader where they have a fight and reader runs to the attic to seek comfort from Nina, Nina confronts Kaz about it and Kaz feels guilt and makes an attempt to apologise to reader. @thepoetsdiedatthislake
Note: I may use something inspired by the song you mentioned in Kaz's apology, but not word to word.
April 23: Jin Sakai x fem!reader, reader is his servant who's in love with him, but she thinks he's in love with Yuna, when in reality Yuna is trying to help Jin to confess his feelings for reader. @hufflepuff-girl-1996
Note: I'm leaving her body size out because there's nothing in your request where her size would be relevant to mention, you can imagine her being plus size because I won't be describing her body in any way. My readers are always a blank canvas in terms of appearance unless their physical attribute has an actual role in the fic.
April 30: Nikolai Lantsov x fem!reader, a Cinderella story inspired piece. Reader is a servant girl who gets to attend a royal ball, Nikolai shows interest in her but reader thinks it's because he thinks she's a princess and would throw her away if he found out she's just a servant. Anon.
May 6: David Friedkin x reader, reader is a nurse and treats his injuries and they fall for each other. @mysoftboybensolo
May 12: Daniel (Detroit: Become Human) x fem!reader, he comforts reader when reader has a panic attack. @lazysnitch

Alice movies are so comfort movies yes yes
Thinking i do cool stuff until you see me delusional while sick doing my little golum voice while staring at wood wondering if i e ver saw a fricking raven before. Which i do regularly bc there are a lot when im out with horse.
Golum voice is like my favourite voice stim right now hehe. And archery is cool indeed but i think i just look like the biggest psycho path. And yes im imagining myself to be either jin sakai from ghost of tsushima (bc im obsessed with that game) or legolas and it helps with aiming.
Ooh ghost of tsushima~ I wanted to play it after finishing sekiro 😲 good to know you love the game. I would love to hear the Golum voice stim though lol
And well, I think delulu is good sometimes, in... Small amounts but still good 😌

Hey there dear, glad you're back
Now, I would like to ask a drabble of Jin Sakai from GoT in which he's reunited with his female lover after the birth of their child. They had to be separated for some time cause she was hidden and he finally reaches his family to find them safe and happy. (I just live the idea of Jin being a dad 🥰)
Have a good day!
Hi, sweetie! Thanks for sending it again, I’m excited to write more for Jin and GOT. Hope you like it!!

Title: Child
_
Everyday, you prayed for his safe return. Jin Sakai. The Ghost of Tsushima. The most wanted man in all Japan. The legend. The father of your child.
Getting separated from him after finding that he had survived the battle of Komoda was painful enough. You had just gotten him back when you thought you had lost him, when you had grieved for him and cried his loss. And now, you were apart once more.
You still remembered that moment vividly. How Jin had become startled when the mongols appeared yet again and he had insisted that you left. This time, he was adamant on it. Your previous attempts to linger by his side had succeeded, but not that time.
Jin’s voice had become soft despite his concerned hint as he gently pushed you away, his eyes begging you to leave him. To get to safety. He would take care of the mongols, but he needed you and the baby to be safe.
That moment had etched in your memory, and evoking his loving expression was what helped you overcome his absence. What helped you take the thought of him never reuniting with you again, either because he couldn’t find you or  he wanted to keep you safe still or because...
A chill ran down your spine, and so you focused on gingerly rocking the baby in your arms. Your mind was still distant as you shushed your child, recognizing a hint of his father’s features on that small face.
The peaceful moment was interrupted by the sound of a horse’s galop. You froze in place, craddling the baby against your chest to protect him from any possible attackers. You anxiously waited, your heart racing as you tried to hear anything.
“Y/N?” A voice you recognized called out, and with the simple call of your name all of your fears dissipated. All that fear that had been building up for weeks was suddenly gone like it was never there.
“Jin!” You ran out of the house you were hidding in and to his encounter.
“Y/N...” There was Jin, looking safe and sound as he smiled in relief. “You’re alright”
“You too” You sobbed, throwing your free arm around him and holding him tight.
Jin’s embrace was urgent as he shoved you against his chest and tightly wrapped his arms around you, still being careful with the baby that was now between the two of you.
“How’s the baby?” He whispered, unable to conceal a sigh of relief.
“He’s okay” You slightly broke away to look into his eyes. “Much better now that his father is home”
Jin didn’t reply, only stared at you. That same look of love and adoration stayed in his eyes as he directed them now to the baby, who seemed to smile as though he sensed Jin’s presence.

The Onsen (Ghost of Tsushima One-Shot)
Reimagined and revisioned: September 2023 👺
One-shot description: Jin Sakai is known as a proud Samurai living on a small island near the great Japanese empire - Tsushima. And when he gets washed on a beach near your home, it obviously caught a lot of attention.
A/N: For starters, I know that ghost of Tsushima has a few missteps here and there, especially when we’re looking at the historical part (Jin couldn’t be using katana bcs it didn't exist at this period, Mongols would never agree to an individual duel because they didn’t know what does it mean, Mongols didn't wear much armor (NAKED BOIS) etc, insert more whining here), but hey. I never tended to learn more about the Japanese culture and this game certainly sparked some interest inside of me.
Also, I am no Japanese culture expert. This one-shot was written though a course of seven days and I tried to Google the fucking maximum about both the culture (at this given time period) and Japanese relationship towards sex, as well as all the activities related to this topic, but it won't be 100% accurate nonetheless.
Yet I can say proudly that I've tried to treat the concept with respect and love.
Word count: 8 K
Pairing: Jin Sakai x female reader (He HAS a strong chaotic-bi energy, but he's talking about girls in the hot springs, so... 👀)
Warnings: Fluffy smut 🥵❤️

Tsushima, the Izahura region, the Akamo prefecture, 1274:
The last few weeks... How would you even start talking about the last few weeks? It all started on Komoda Beach, on one memorable summer night - the night that gave birth to a legend. It also was the same summer night during which most of Tsushima's regions lost all their hope and fell in flames. On that night, the forces of fierce Mongolian invaders and samurai defending their homes have clashed... The Mongols came out of the battle victorious. You hadn't been on the beach to witness the battle with your own eyes, but the flames and smoke that shrouded the Izahura region told everyone more than they needed to know. The samurai have been slain, their blood soaked into the wet sand and hope slowly faded.
That was until... Until the legend started to spread. It was spread by the monks, peasants, and traveling merchants. All it took was the story of a vengeful samurai spirit that was protecting and avenging the regular folk for the first sparks of resistance to be forged. People were now trying to fight back, they learned their own methods of dealing with the Mongols as well as traitors and bandits who were trying to benefit from the chaos. Well, that was how you came into play.
It turned out that Mongolian invaders were more than mesmerized by geishas and concubines. The men were inclined to lower their guards and talk about important information in front of the dancing women, letting them gather intel as well as inform other cells of the resistance. To keep safe, the geishas of Izahura started to gather in mansions where they lived together in harmony. The times were desperate and independent women needed to support independent women. You yourself were nowhere near being a geisha. You hadn't entered okiya as a teenager, neither had you any proper training in the arts of communication and culture.
All you were was a regular peasant coming from a nearby village, just around half a kilometer away from the farm glorified to a geisha residence. You managed to run when the attack came, saving your life as you watched your home turn into ash. For some time, you wandered around the Akamo prefecture, getting by thanks to foraging and your knowledge of the herbs. Back in your village, you've been the healer's apprentice, learning the art of Kampo. And one day, starved, dehydrated, and almost delusional, you stumbled right into the farm's fields. The geishas took notice of you as they ran towards you, but they didn't catch you in time. All they could do was drag you into the residence, nursing you back to health. The women took a liking to you and since all of them agreed that they could use help around the household. While the geishas tried to gather as much information as possible, you were the person actually running the house - doing dishes, buying food from merchants, doing the laundry, cleaning up... Sometimes, you posed as company to geishas themselves, serving as a shoulder to cry on or pretending to be a client for the apprentices. If there was no one on hand, you even had to serve food and saké to geishas and their clients, always leaving the room as soon as you could. There was always so much to do to occupy your mind.
The women weren't mean enough to let you work all alone, but it felt nice to have a spare pair of hands who could cover everything they couldn't. When you found yourself with nothing to do, you oftentimes left the households to pay respect to kami or to take care of nearby shrines as you felt that it could also boost the spirits all around. It was a simple life and a very shaky piece of stability in the heart of the Akuma prefecture, but it almost appeared as if the war had never touched this small piece of heaven.
It was one evening when you heard some fuss coming all the way from the beach. The two minarai (author's note: minarai is a stage in geisha's apprenticeship in which the geisha-to-be finds a mentor whom she watches and learns the craft by literally accompanying them and watching them) living inside the household had taken a stroll down the beach while you sat in the garden, doing the laundry in a lazy, relaxed pace. You've felt lazy that day, not really looking to overwork yourself - which couldn't get further from what was about to happen. The two girls were leading a strong, noble horse behind them. The animal was majestic, taken care of as well as equipped with intricate war equipment. You've seen the equipment once or twice in your lifetime; it was during the evening when the noble samurai of the Adachi clan came to patrol over your village, making sure everything was in order. That meant that the limp male body lying on the horseback was a... A samurai.
The man became hot news in the household instantly - all the samurai were supposed to be dead, weren't they? They all died that night on Komoda beach, didn't they? Who was this? An impostor, trying to give hope to people? Was this someone pretending to be a samurai to either scare off the invaders or scam people? The women put the man in your care, adding yet another chore to your calendar. It was logical that he was assigned to your care; you’ve been the only one who had medical training. The man… He looked bad. His armor was torn to shreds, and his mask cracked right in the middle. His skin was pale due to the blood loss, and the wounds on his hips were wide and deep. It took you enormous amounts of herb tinctures, cloths, and other corrective measures just to stop the bleeding. As the sun started coming out, you were sitting next to the man with your arms covered in his blood all the way up to your elbows, multiple buckets of bloody and muddy water were situated around both your bodies. Good news? You’ve managed to stop the bleeding. Bad news? The samurai was covered in ice-cold sweat, his muscles were spasming uncontrollably as his fever started to rise.
When you finally caught a breath, you climbed down into the living room, briefing all the curious women and lady Kohaku on the man’s physical state. Since there was very little time to loose, you’ve taken his horse and rode to almost every nearby villages, trading a serious amount of your supplies for various herbs and tinctures you weren’t skilled enough to make. However, as you climbed back into the attic without the rush of yesterday’s urgency, there was this sneaking sense of shyness creeping at the back of your head. This time, before even looking in his general direction, you prayed to Inizagi to let the man survive the hardships he was enduring.
Usually, as you finished praying, you picked up enough courage to undo his shitagi and tug his hakama a bit lower. Your fingertips moved on his skin lightly, as tips of brushes; the movements needed to be swift and precise so you wouldn’t tear his wounds open on accident. Taking care of the mysterious samurai usually meant that you took cloth soaked with pus off, disinfected all the wounds, put healing tinctures all over his chest, and then covered all the wounds with freshly washed cloths, which you also put through alcohol cleansing and hot steam disinfection.
The longer you've spent tending to his wounds, the more one quality about this man became obvious. It was the fact that… The mysterious man was a fighter. He wasn’t going down anytime soon. There were remnants of many scars everywhere around his chest and arms, most of them weren’t even properly taken care of; forever remaining bulky and pink. Yet no matter how many scars there were, how deep they reached, or how ugly they looked, the samurai seemingly dealt with all of them... And kept on pushing forward. Whoever he was, he had to have an enormous amount of will to live; on top of numerous scars, he was also recovering pretty quickly. On the third day of his recovery and the third evening of his coma, there were sturdy and solid scabs instead of opened layers of skin and sometimes even muscle tissues.
That night, you’ve also taken matters a step further. First in order, there was changing the pieces of cloth, of course. After finishing tenting to the wounds and clothing the man, you've also made sure that his hair is neatly tugged behind an elegant black hachimaki. It was right there and then when you finally took a moment to look at his face, shoving a bucket of warm water next to you, preparing a washcloth to finally clean him from all of the mud and sand. Slowly and carefully, you've moved the last strands of hair off his forehead. This was the first time you've noticed your fingers shaking subtly. It was hard to breathe calmly, actually; your cheeks started to warm up and your blood started to boil slowly, moment by moment. It had been so long since you'd spent some time alone... With a man. Well, you've never technically spent intimate time with a man; you've only spent a few hasty moments with young, loutish boys, stealing kisses in corners the adults couldn't see.
Never in your life have you touched a man in an empty room, especially having the freedom to let your palms roam free. Sure, the man might've been unconscious, but there wouldn't be anyone to snitch on you. And the man laying on the futon in front of you was... Handsome. With the utmost care, you've cleaned every crevice of his face. You've dragged the washcloth over the curve of his nose, over the closed lids of his eyes, soft scoops of his upper and lower lip... Finishing up with his round chin and the stubble. To calm down, you've started moving all of the buckets downstairs as well as dragging his swords, armor, and mask along so you could clean his gear.
The farmhouse was practically empty at this hour of the day; most of the geishas were either with their clients (both in various rooms inside the house as well as traveling to their client's designed locations) or asleep, there was a bunch of girls sitting under sakura trees in the garden, plucking their music instruments and the only person present, really, was lady Kohaku. The woman was smoking in the corner of the room, going through the accountancy to see all of the expenses and earnings while preparing new pieces of information for the rebellious forces. Letting a deep breath out, you've sat down next to a water pump, laying out the armor in front of you. As you cleaned the armor itself, it wasn't anything special. There was nothing to take note of - no crests to be found, any special materials used to craft... It wasn't much more than regular samurai armor. Almost every samurai riding to Komoda Beach on that faithful night was wearing a similar armor set. The realization hit you as you picked up his katana and tanto to start polishing it. The moment you've seen the crest, the moment you've let it fall onto the ground. Lady Kohaku took immediate notice of the ruckus.
A furrow had appeared on her face as she approached you, taking one last drag out of her kiseru (author's note: kiseru is basically a Japanese tobacco pipe; it was invented in the 16th century, way after the story takes place, but when I think about an older woman who is the head of a brothel, concubine or geisha house, I just think that smoking goes hand in hand with their overall image) before she pulled her silky robe rightly to her body and walked over to the veranda. - "What's the matter, young one? Did you cut your finger?" "No, ma'am." - You admitted, quickly picking up the samurai's gear off the ground. It could be perceived as an act of disrespect if the Lady wouldn't know you for as long as she did. The older woman actually really enjoyed having you around, she admired your personality and all the help you've brought to the house. Because of that, Kohaku knew you'd been caught off guard. - "I'm sorry for interrupting you, ma'am." "Don't apologize, child. Have you noticed something worrisome on the gear?" - The woman dismissed. The quick glance over your shoulder had told her more than she needed to know. You've realized something.
"The man we're hiding in the attic might be very, very dangerous, ma'am. If the Mongols find him..." "Do you know who he is?" "I'm assuming I do, ma'am." - As you started to explain in a somber, quiet tone, your eyes admired the katana. - "The village I was born in was under the watch of clan Adachi. And they've been the most wonderful masters. It's also commonly known that the Adachi clan had strong connections to other clans around Tsushima. And one of the clans was the Sakai clan." - As you finished, your thumb moved out of the way, showing Kohaku the Sakai crest decorating the fuchi.
Lady Kohaku was speechless for a moment. This woman was practically a genius who knew about all of the stories going around Tsushima, all of the gossip and rumors were a sea she was well-oriented in. Naturally, the woman realized what you've been telling her. The man laying in the attic was no ordinary samurai, no. He was one of a kind, the last successor to the clan of Sakai. And as the story went, this man was no ordinary samurai - he turned into the vengeful spirit of Tsushima's people, the single vedge restraining the Mongols from a full-on, devastating invasion further into the Izahura region. The man turned into the Ghost, into all of the fury and hatred of the people as well as vengeance and retaliation which the peasants wanted. This was no ordinary damn samurai.
"I see." - Kohaku answered simply, picking her kiseru up to have a long drag. Then, she fell silent for quite some time; she let out a long huff, letting heavy smoke slowly come out of her mouth and nose. The smoke was so heavy, in fact, that it covered her face for quite some time. - "The best thing to do is to keep it yourself, young one. Don't alert the girls, don't tell them who Lord Sakai is. We shall pretend he had never graced our house with his presence. Giggling about having a samurai in the attic is more than enough, we don't want them to go entirely crazy over the man." "Understood, ma'am. I'll get back to cleaning his equipment now, sorry for bothering you." "You aren't bothering me." - The woman chuckled, pouring you a tea before she carried it to you. - "Have this and take it slow. It'll help, trust me." - As you promised, so you did; before calling it a day, you managed to clean all of his gear and carry it back to the attic before other girls could take notice.
As the fifth day of Sakai laying in a coma rolled around, you took his horse for another ride. The horse was sweet, very calm, and very responsive. Even though it was a war horse that was trained to survive even the most stressful of situations, it seemingly enjoyed dragging the cart around as you set on your regular route - buying rice, trading fish, pastries, spices, and saké. It was a long route since you traveled all over the Akamo prefecture. Usually, the locals also invite you for a bowl of rice and some tea to have a chat, to tell you what's new. People liked you ever since you started trading with them a few weeks back, you simply had that kind of oomph about you. Naturally, as per usual, you've arrived back rather late in the day. As you gave all the records to Kohaku, you prepared warm water and disinfected pieces of cloth in preparation to clean Sakai's wounds. Yet as you climbed up, your body already buzzing with excitement to let your gaze wander around his face and dragging tips of your fingers across his chest, to your horror you realized that the attic is... Empty. The armor was gone, and his katana too.
With blood disappearing out of your face, you carefully climbed back down and walked right to Lady Kohaku. Your palms were trembling, and you began sweating profoundly. The house wasn't raided, clearly, but having a man of such importance simply vanish was... Something. Especially given his state. Had he subdued to his wounds? Had he passed aways while you were gone, making sure all of the errands are taken care of? This possibility scared you even more. "He's... Gone." - This was everything you were able to say out loud to Kohaku at that moment. Her dark brown eyes raised to you as she put her shodo down, chuckling. - "Had he... Did I do something wrong? I've used all my knowledge and cared for his health according to my best skill. I am..." "Follow me, young one. Take a breath and come." - The old matriarch laughed under her breath, waiting for you to get your shit together. As you stop an incoming panic attack, you've followed the woman outside.
It was a beautiful, warm late spring evening; everything you planted in the gardens and on the soil was blossoming, giving the gardens a breath of fresh air. When geishas wanted to let out some steam and just generally come to other thoughts, they didn't shy away from picking up the farm tools and dug around in the soil for hours on end, planting various seeds and flowers. For you, the gardens were a sanctum. When you felt tired or just overall weren't in a good mood, you mostly found yourself sitting in the gardens for hours as you watched life move around you - dancing classes, as well as musical and cultural lectures, took place outside, so you always had something to watch. Sometimes, the geishas invited you to join the classes too just so you wouldn't be left alone in a corner. It was usually Yui who persistently asked you to join them in training the arts.
It took you off guard when you heard a few notes of music coming from the far end of the garden; you've been used to listening to shamisen all the time... You never heard a flute being played in the gardens. As was to be expected, the girls gathered at a good viewing point, watching the mysterious samurai play as they chattered and whispered excitedly. Although you usually didn't share their excitement for men and activities connected to them, you also couldn't but stare at the man for a second. For a moment, a vacuum filled your head as you saw him awake for the very first time. His skin had a peachy, healthy tone and the bags under his eyes became less prominent; this was mainly due to Kohaku's hospitality. As soon as she noticed Jin climbing down rather clumsily, she invited him for tea and lunch which the girls just finished cooking. He was also even more attractive than before; his posture was good, he carried himself with grace and nobility, and his warm expression added a bit of something that wasn't present in his face when he was in limbo. Lord Sakai was... Really handsome. And you've touched him, unsupervised, for hours on end. Wow.
"There he is, alive and well, nursed back to good spirits and health." - Lady Kohaku explained, smiling at you and bowing slightly, paying the samurai respect. The man finished his song in return, putting the flute down before fixing his hachimaki - when he was done and looked up to Kohaku, he realized she was not alone; in the same instant, he was respectfully bowing down, his forehead touching the ground as he paid you an enormous amount of respect. It didn't slip you that after he bowed, he hissed under his breath; the movement was too sudden for his wounds. Also, this much respect wasn't anything you had imagined in your wildest dreams - all you expected was a thank you, a smile, and a slight bow in the very best scenario. And rightfully so - Sakai was a nobleman, you weren't much more than a simple peasant. Rather awkwardly, you bowed yourself. - "We better honor the kami for letting Y/N do the best she could." "Thank you for adhering to my wish, Lady Kohaku." - The man said quietly enough to keep the topic of discussion a secret from all the ears and eyes glued to you. With that, Sakai picked himself up (even the slightest movements seemingly caused him a lot of pain) and smiled at you. It was a warm and sincere smile... That made you even more confused. Why was he acting so nice? "That's the simplest request I could fulfill, my lord. I'll let you discuss the matters you wish to talk about with Y/N. After you're done, come find me. We need to have a talk." - The last piece of information was for you, so you nodded in Kohaku's direction, still caught off guard by Jin Sakai in his entirety. With that, Kohaku turned on her heels and left the two of you alone, walking back into the house. Jin, painfully aware of his small fan club, prompted you to take a walk in the opposite direction - this wooden road led to a nearby onsen which the geishas claimed after they bought the farm. It was great for the clientele.
"Never in my wildest dreams would I expect to wake up in a place like this." - That was the first thing he said after you've been far enough from the other geishas. The tone of his voice gave away some sort of tenderness as well as curiosity. This complimented you greatly. - "Needless to say, it saved my life. Kami were watching over me on that day and I couldn't be more grateful. Without your care, I'd most likely die in the wilderness, washed up on the shore. "It was my duty, Lord Sakai. Your uncle is the lord of Tsushima... Not giving you a helping hand would bring us back luck for many years to come as well as it would attract oni. It would bring misfortune and shame to a house which already doesn't have the best name." - At that, you chuckled to let Sakai know you were joking to some degree or another. The way he raised the corner of his lips made you sure that the joke landed, amusing Sakai.
"Can I confide in you?" - Sakai followed up right after, making your blood pressure rise even higher. Being alone with a man of his social status was scandalous enough already, but letting him confide in you and listen to his secrets was directly inappropriate. And yet, even though realizing all of that, you nodded and waited for what he had on his mind. - "Of course, my lord? What's ailing you?" "It's just that... I haven't felt this calm in a long time. Now that it's war and I have to defend my home, I need to be ready to draw my katana any second. It feels like on each step of my journey, I sought justice and only found bloodshed. So it's truly wonderful to see a place that wasn't touched by war, a sanctuary where people still live in peace with the land and kami. It's very charming." - the man told you honestly and you had to admit that hearing such words was... Refreshing. No matter what name the house had, no matter what kind of women ran it... Sakai felt safe and calm. For you, it was somewhat important to hear such words. You started grinning and had to take a moment before continuing with the conversation.
"How are your wounds, my lord? Are you feeling better?" - It was a mere silent question as you watched lady Yuriko teaching her apprentice Akali how to dance. Yuriko was a rather strict teachers, walking around Akali in circles, tapping into the nonexistent rhythm and correcting wrongdoings by slapping Akali with the tip of her tessen.
The man was no fool. It took him one glance to realize he’s not talking to a geisha; you weren’t as sultry as they usually appeared to be, your choice of words was interesting to say the least (a few months back, Sakai would actually wonder if you’re being rude to him or not) and also your overall energy wasn’t matching theirs. There was something so very innocent and gentle, something that Jin Sakai was almost afraid of breaking. And that little something was exciting Sakai beyond the boundaries of politeness. When Kohaku talked about you, he had a feeling that you’d be just a normal, everyday woman whom he’d thank and let the whole ordeal behind; yet since the moment he laid his eyes on you, he had trouble taking taking them off. All of your differences weren’t driving Jin away - they were reeling him under your spell, in fact; this excited him as well as confused him. He had a very strict moral code he sought to follow and let’s say that being seduced by a peasant, someone leagues below his social status, wasn’t on the list of rules. It was, in fact, basically forbidden.
“I’m feeling so much better, lady Y/N.” - The man smiled your way, hoping you’d smile back. To his dismay, you were looking at the sun setting beyond the horizon, lost in your own thoughts. - “Surely, it will take a few weeks before recovering fully and being able to do everything I’m used to, but your care saved me a lot of time. How comes a common peasant know this much about medicine?”
“Well…” - At that question, you finally looked back at him, seeing the light in his eyes intensifiying ever so slightly. - “That’s simple, my lord. Back in my home, there was a very old and capable healer who was looking for someone to pass her legacy and knowledge to. She took me into apprenticeship a few years back, teaching me how to read and write so I could orient in medical records and know how to make tinctures and medicine that might be too intricate to memorize. In exchange for that, I’ve been running her household and took care of little everyday things, like chores and gathering edible forage for dinner. Sometimes, when bandits raided our home, she allowed me to assist her with putting our neighbors back together… So I’ve had both practical and theoretical training. Accompanying her in her home was one of the best choices I’ve made, no matter how much it angered my parents.”
“Why? Weren’t they proud that their daughter will become a healer?”
“Not really, no. I’ve always married into a good household and had a bunch of children inside their imagination. That wouldn’t fulfill me.”
He knew what you were talking about - his whole life was about learning from the elders. His uncle, lord Shimura, had taught him every technique samurai should know as well as the codex a samurai should honor. - "I was a patient student who listened to every single word she said. Sometimes, bandits wounded our men when they worked in the woods, so I knew the best way to help you, my lord."
"And my horse? Where is it?" - "It's been taken care of, lord Sakai. I've taken it for a few rides to the market if you don't mind." - A joke came out of you. Slowly, you've been closer and closer to the residence. Soon, it was time to say goodbye, which you've been quite saddened with. You won't probably ever speak with lord Sakai again, because things like that happen once in a lifetime.
If you'd have to describe Jin Sakai, you'd say he's handsome and charming, something you wouldn't say about a samurai. Truth be told, you hadn't much experience with men. The only time you've had such an intimate conversation with a man was when you were playing with your male friends as a kid.
"I will leave you to your convalescence now, lord Sakai. It was my pleasure to meet you." - You bowed to the man when you stepped on the small terrace and he returned this polite act.
"Thank you for your time and attention. Take care, lady Y/N." - As he watched you walking back inside, you suddenly stopped and turned your head at him, catching him staring at you. - "I'm not a lady, my lord. I'm just a simple girl." - With that, you left the man standing alone in front of the door.
That day's work wasn't as bad as usual. You've done the dishes quite quickly, laundry and clothes were done faster than normal. When that was done, you asked Kohaku about the talk concerning your duties in the house. The woman had informed you about the next consignment of rice for the following week, which was nice because you knew where and when you had to be.
That evening was one of the days where you finished soon enough to have tea with other girls in the gathering room. The chatter was quite nice. And to your surprise, lord Sakai joined the circle soon enough. But he didn't sit down. He politely bowed to lady Kohaku, smiling at her.
"Thank you and your house for providing me with help in such bad times, mistress. I will be on my way tomorrow early in the morning so I wouldn't bother you more than necessary." - The man said while still bowing down in front of the elder woman. She chuckled in response, giving the man a crooked smile.
You couldn't but wonder how handsome the man was. There was the old black hachimaki on his head, the yukata lady Kohaku gave him lighted the area of his chest and shoulders. Your imagination was running wild because you could still see what was underneath it; the muscles, wound, and scars.
"It was our pleasure to have you at my house, lord Sakai. Please, do as we talked about earlier and chose a companion for your late-night bath, as the last proof of our loyalty and support. My girls will be pleased to make you entertained." - Kohaku smiled and motioned around herself to show him all the beautiful women the house had to offer to lord Sakai.
There were all kinds of entertainers - women with innocent eyes and gentle smiles, others felt like predators who would hunt Jin down like prey, and of course, there was Yui, who was more than willing to make lord Sakai very, very entertained. But the man's eyes flickered to you as he bowed once again to say goodbye to Kohaku.
"My choice still stands, lady Kohaku. I won't accept any other company than hers. I want to express my gratitude for the care lady Y/N provided. Please, accept my sincere wish." - The man left the room, waiting for the mistress to decide about what will be happening. She shouldn't let that happen - you weren't a geisha. You were a peasant, normal girl who wasn't brought up to be an entertainer.
But it was lord Sakai who she was talking about. This man was a legendary samurai who fought the Mongolian invasion, the one who was the nephew of the lord ruling over whole Tsushima. And Kohaku promised to show the loyalty of the geisha house.
They could infiltrate and gather information from Mongolian men if they wrap their heads around the concept of geishas. But Chan said he learned about Japanese culture - maybe Kohaku and the Mongolian leader could archive some agreement and in that case, they could bring Shimura and Sakai information. So she slowly turned her head to you, arching her eyebrows.
The girls didn't seem to be surprised or weirded out by Jin's choice of a company they were giving you nasty grins. You deserved all of it. - "Get on your feet, girl. Lord Sakai chose you as his companion." - The older woman told you and helped you on your feet. Girls were smiling at you before getting back to a burst of pleasant laughter and conversations. - "Be polite, listen to the man, and try to understand him. You'll be presenting all of us, don't forget about that. Take the sake and food we prepared and lead him to the hot springs to make sure he's contained. This man is very, very important." - Kohaku instructed you, putting a wooden tray, balancing everything on it before the motherly moved strands of hair out of your eyes and face.
"But, mistress, I'm not a... Geisha. I don't know what should I do. If you'd let me go there, lord Sakai won't think this house is trustworthy." - You whined as she led you to the door, having her hand on the small of your back. - "Our reputation will be in ruins and I don't want to be the cause of that. Don't send me there."
"You're not a geisha tonight, young one. You're a company for this man. Don't pressure yourself, try to stay calm for me, alright?" - Kohaku smiled back so widely that her eyes closed and with that, she pushed you out of the door. Before you gathered yourself to answer her, the door was closed and you were standing there in an old yukata, with a wooden tray of small things for lord Sakai. As soon as lord Sakai noticed the first signs of someone else waking behind his back, he turned at you. To be honest, your heart was racing when his face lit up with a happy smile. The man was pleased with your company only, which made you feel special.
"Good evening, lady Y/L/N. I am very happy you agreed with my demand, yet I hope I didn't catch you too off guard with my wish." - The samurai approached you slowly, but he still kept the boundaries of politeness. You only shook your head.
"Please, follow me." - You whispered nervously, walking in the direction of the hot spring. It was secluded on a hill, hidden under blossoming Sakura trees. When you had your lucky day, you could watch parrots sitting on the branches and the sun slowly setting down.
Geishas neither you used the water too often. But when you needed to relax after a long and challenging day, you asked Kohaku to use it. Mostly, you were alone in there to enjoy the calmness of nature. It always cleared your mind and spirit most soothingly. Yet now, your heart was racing when you knew who was walking behind you.
Not to let lord Sakai waiting, you positioned his sake and food so he could grab it any time, lighting up the lamps around the hot spring. When you were done with it, you wanted to look at the man, but you quickly turned back to the lamp to keep his personal space intact. You saw the yukata slipping from his shoulders, revealing the wounds and smooth skin under it. To contain the nerves, you took in a deep breath and waited for the splash which let you know he's sitting.
"What... What do you wish to speak about, my lord?" - Your quiet voice destroyed the utter silence as you walked to the side of the hot spring. You leaned your palm into the ground and watched his face and shoulders, seeing as he started to relax.
"Whatever comes to your mind, lady. I usually spend the time in hot spring to reflect on my life, destiny, and journey; about the path, I've already endured." - Lord Sakai explained to you calmly. Gods, not only he wanted to have you there, but be also wanted you to speak about what you wished. You were very confused. - "It is a long time ago when I had someone accompanying me in a holy place like this." - Jin whispered. That was something that caught your attention - and he told you to speak about whenever you wanted to talk about, right?
"Are you alone often, my lord?" - You asked, having him immediately looking at you. Was this question too much? According to his gaze, it was. - "I'm sorry if I'm too bold or too rude, my lord." - "Path of the warrior is a lonely one. You often lose the ones you care for, as I did lose my uncle. Ever since Mongols came to my island and so swore to bring them to justice, I was alone, yes." - Lord Sakai explained once more, smiling at you even more.
"Never apologize for curiousness, please. I'm glad you asked exactly the question you had on your mind." - And he meant what he said. He was glad he'd met such a direct woman. Geishas could talk for hours and hours, but slowly, the conversation got repetitive. These women never told him a direct piece of information, they never asked daring, eyebrow-raising questions, so this was more fun for him. Yet you were looking nervous about that topic, which made you talk.
"I am no geisha, my lord. I can't make your time nicer with dancing, neither have I mastered the art of communication. I don't want you to think that I'm rude, please." - You spoke out silently when you slowly lead your palm on the nape of your neck. Sakai smiled and nodded at that, watching you sitting beside the hot spring.
"I know you're not one of them. That's why I asked you to accompany me." - The man said honestly, leaning his elbows into the rocks behind him. - "Normal people like you can be humbling and soothing to be around when it's needed."
Well, at least the man knew how to be honest with you and still be polite about it. He just told you that you're a peasant, but was so gentle about the fact that it didn't sound like an insult.
"Thank you, my lord," - "Jin. Please. Call me Jin. I want to be just a normal human being tonight." - The man breathed out and it was obvious that this wish had a deeper meaning than just calling him by his name. Yet at the time, you didn't dare to think about where this conversation was slowly going.
"I just wanted to be polite." - You told him sincerely. The samurai smiled at your casual innocence but didn't comment on it. - "I tell you a secret. Being born to a family ruling over Tsushima made me used to hear the title every day. Every word and every act reminds me of the duties I carry for the people, for the honor. Yet... Sometimes I want to have someone who'll see me for the person I am, for Jin inside of lord Sakai. But it's difficult to ask for it sometimes." - Jin described honestly.
All you could do was to try to understand what he meant by that. I'm the end, you never had close to having a status of royalty of any sort. Still, you nodded in the end. - "I'll do my best, Jin." - When you realized that the man is about to bathe himself, your eyes widened in horror. - "You can't do that. Your wounds would reopen."
"Want to do this on your own?" - Sakai teased you with a grin, but when he saw how serious your face got, he realized that he might have exactly what he asked for. Which, if he'd be honest, made his abdomen throb with excitement. - "Please?" - The man asked seriously this time, looking at you.
You shouldn't be touching a man in such away. And for the love of gods, you knew that. But you got up nonetheless, sitting behind him. Slowly, you dipped your fingers into the warm water, sliding your palms across his shoulders and upper back.
To your surprise, the man gave into the touch willingly, leaning into the smallest touch he could get with desperation. It was too long from the last time he wasn't alone - so long it excited him way more than it should. Your voice almost freaked him out.
"Excuse me?" - Jin asked when he realized you were talking to him. - "I'm asking if everything's good." - A giggle left your lips. He had just groaned when you put a bit of pressure to your thumb, massaging the back of his neck. Before he had time to answer, you untied the hachimaki from his forehead to let his hair down.
"Better than good." - Jin sighed dreamily when you dipped your fingers into his hair as you massaged his scalp. Your heart skipped a beat when Jin turned around and reached for your foot to slip it down to the water. And it was relaxing when he put it over his shoulder. Just when you thought it can't be better, his fingers started to run across your foot and calf, smoothing it gently.
"What are you doing?" - You smiled nervously, watching his hand sliding down from your knee. Suddenly, the man leaned the back of his head into your other leg, looking at you.
Gods, you were breath-taking. Maybe it was just the long-running loneliness that followed his journey, Jin couldn't know. But it felt right to do this at the moment although it was bad in every possible way, it was disrespectful to the culture you've been raised in every possible way... But it felt tempting to give in to the passion.
Samurai should've to control his emotions on every step of his journey. He should keep his head and heart clear of hatred or other affectionate feelings that could blur the perception of the outside world. And at that moment, Jin was failing miserably.
He didn't have a lover by his side for months. Jin hadn't got a chance to touch a woman's body, to kiss their skin, to flicker his tongue on their neck or their thighs. But... You were there. You were close and warm, making cold shiver running down his spine. And it was probably better if he'd clean his head from these dirty thoughts before riding off to continue his quest.
Lazily, the man ran the tip of his nose next to your knee pit just moments before he planted a gentle kiss there. He could feel the gentle jolt of your muscles.
This small reaction told Jin more than any amount of words you'd ever say. It was admirable did him that there were still women who were still oblivious to the other one's touch. He hadn't met one in a long time. Concubines were usually already learned in the art of pleasure. But Jin felt deeper sympathies towards empty sheets of paper. And so he planted a few more kisses on the small spot.
As you jolted again, your fingers tugged the man's hair, putting him in place. The man gently let your leg fall into the hot spring water as he slowly turned at you, picking his strong body out of the water.
His lips traveled on your leg higher and higher, kissing through your clothes. Your whole abdomen suddenly throbbed when the man almost pushed his head between your thighs. That would be shameful for sure, but for all the gods that were out there, you wanted it.
In the next moment, Sakai was leaning his palms next to your thighs. You were disappointed that the hot spring waters were poorly lighted - the water was barely reaching his abdomen and if he'd be lit up, you'd see some more things. But the lamp was behind his back.
"Join me. I beg you. I won't tell lady Kohaku." - The man whispered, pulling his face closer to yours before stealing one peck from your cheek. Nervously, you looked away and tried to gather some personal space by putting your palms on his chest. And that was another mistake you made. His muscles were tensed and firmed from the journey he had gone through so far and his heart was racing... Just like yours. Could it be? Could he be attracted to you as well?
Quickly, you glanced around if anyone in the residence can see what is happening there, but the lights were already out. There was only Jin and you.
"But don't look at me until I'm covered in water." - You accepted his offer and the man nodded, turning away from you while sitting back down. Slowly, you slipped the worn-out yukata off your shoulders, checking if Jin's keeping his word. And he did keep it. To assure he won't see anything, you put your palm on his upper back as you slipped into the hot water. A relaxed sigh left you, which you couldn't fight, as you sat on the other side of the spring, watching Jin sitting back on his place.
"Thank you, Y/N." - Jin lowered his head before he poured you a bit of sake, offering it to you. Immediately, you shook your head. - "This is a gift for you, Jin, I'm not allowed to drink it."
"But I wish so. Drink up with me, please." - The man hummed teasingly, catching your palm to his so he could place the cup in your fingers. - "To your best health, my lord." - And with is, you drank every drop of sake in the cup. And it was delicious. You hadn't tasted sake in a long time, so the taste made you smile.
There was chatter as you both drank the wine - you talked about his friends, what happened to your home, what happened at the Komoda beach... It was pleasant. But the alcohol and hot water made you bolder than you were before. Suddenly, the man asked you one simple question, which made you giggle in its entirety. - "What did you hear about me? About the great Lord Sakai?" - Jin smiled at you, making you furrow a bit. The reason behind this question felt a bit off, but who were you not to answer the man, right?
"I've heard that you're the man who is talking to the foxes and birds and following them around Tsushima. The guardian, who is hiding in the shadows and patiently awaits for the moment when samurai can strike and defend the island once again... But you're also known as the Ghost. That's the most favorite story out here." - You smiled in that direction of the water, enjoying the warmth of it. - "Now, I have one question for you too, Jin. Why did you... Chose me, Jin? All of these girls are beautiful, but you asked for a peasant. It feels like a strange dream." - You smiled, giving him the cup back. The samurai's face showed you he was caught off guard, but soon, the calm man was back.
"Do you want the polite answer or can I say the one which is on my mind?" - Jin sipped the last cup of his sake as well, looking somewhere into the water. You didn't answer, but the teasing smile told him everything. - "Lady Kohaku promised me company for the night if I'd like to have some. She asked me to choose a girl who'd catch my eye. And when you came out of the house, I saw you for the first time with my very own eyes and when I got to know you're my savior, I just felt blessed by the gods. You're beautiful, you seem to be smart, thoughtful, and more entertaining than any of the geishas." - Sakai said honestly, ignoring the boundaries of politeness. Soon, you felt his foot caressing yours under the water.
Did he found you beautiful? Smart? Even when you were clearly in a much lower social class than he was? - "I guess this answer wasn't meant to be the polite one, was it?" - You asked back nervously, making the man smile widely when you smoothed his leg back. You could feel the tensed, hard muscles under your toe. It was feeling very inappropriate, but strangely exciting. And it was making the spot between your legs ache nicely.
"No, but we told each other we'll be talking about what's on our minds, right?" - The man got up, diving under the surface to clean up his face and hair, surfacing in front of you. The man was beautiful as well, you had to say. Would it be right to listen to your instincts? To pick your palm up and smooth the stubble on his jaw? To kiss the man? - "What is on your mind now?" - Jin whispered and lowered to the water to hold your feet gently, rising it to the level of his pelvis, slowly smoothing a way to your bottom as he still was coming closer and closer. His actions made you gulp.
"You." - At which the man grinned, running the tip of his tongue on his nicely shaped lips. - "What's funny about that?" - You mumbled nervously, having this funny grin on your face. This was making your head dizzy once again. - "I have you on my mind as well." - Jin whispered and kneeled, still holding your legs open before he kissed you. There was this weird, surprising humming sound leaving your lips when he did so. You forgot how did kissing someone felt - and it was spreading that warm and fuzzy feeling inside your chest, making you smile into the kiss.
The warm water around you was slowly making your blood boiling, your muscles were jello-like just from the kiss alone. Against everything you had on your mind, your palms started to travel on the neck covered in harsh stubble, continuing lower to his collarbones just to feel the heart beating inside his chest. The man didn't lose a single moment with staring at your body - his palms moved up and down on your thighs, having you trembling every time his fingers teased the inner part of it, but it could be felt that his fingers were trembling.
To be honest, the man found it quite amusing, having your muscles jolting frequently. You barely noticed the first time Jin rolled his tongue over yours. But when you realized that, your hands entwined in his hair as you left out another greedy groan. Everything was heating way faster than you thought it would, but you couldn't say a single word against it. The whole act was making you aroused beyond just fun. At that point, if Jin would bail out of the thing he started, you'd probably slap him pretty hard.
The kiss was making you grin, but there could be felt that neither of you is exactly a master of seduction and sexual activities. This fact made you wondering a bit again - Jin was coming across as sexual god of some sort inside your head since he was a lonely man. Why wouldn't he fuck with someone on his journey, right? He already broke the samurai codex, having sex would most probably the last thing his uncle would care about. And what eyes couldn't see, that couldn't hurt the heart. But... You were wrong. And it was calming you down to know that you were both equally nervous.
"Aren't you about to pass out on me, right?" - A tease left your mouth when you both stopped for a second to gather some air, Jin leaned his forehead to yours to keep at least some sort of physical contact with you. His smile widened at the joke as he still was trying to catch his breath.
"Maybe my wounds will reopen because of the excitement you're bringing me." - And there was his lowering voice getting a bit raspier than before. There was no pressure on anything. You could say no at any minute, even if you didn't want to, just like he could refuse to continue. And because you and neither him weren't anywhere near perfectly skilled kissers, your jaws were hurting.
"Do you want to share the excitement? Or would you prefer to keep that to yourself?" - You asked, your voice dropping in the middle. Jin just grinned and tried to be the confident one of the situation. But boy oh boy, his palms weren't shaking as much when he was about to murder someone for the first time as they were in the moment. The man tried to appear seductive and cocksure as he licked your lips, moving closer between your legs, stealing another kiss from you as he leads his palm between your thighs.
Jin's eyebrows flew a bit higher when he realized that the small intimate part of your body he smoothed gently was boiling and wet, but in a different way than the water around. Sure, he was with some concubines, but with them, he never got a chance to try anything he wished to. But with you, it was different. He had time, serenity and your full attention to try whatever he desired.
Which was a thing that was possible only in his wildest dreams?
Nothing could prepare you for the moment when Jin just pushed his fingers inside you. He did with the best of care, but it still made you squirm, eyes widen, and your whole body jump at the feeling of penetration. The man stopped with everything as well, sat his ass on the top of his heels, and didn't know what to do - so he was scared to push the fingers out of you.
"Did I hurt you? I didn't mean to," - "Give me a moment." - You got out with your eyes closed, leaning your back to the stone on the edge of the hot spring. Your palms didn't stop to travel around Jin's body, you didn't stop smoothing even for a second as you tried to wrap your head around the feeling alone. When you felt ready to take another step, you sent a nod with your eyes closed still, moving your ass to make sure Jin has you in the best angle possible. And so, the fingers inside of you started moving. And once you got over the weird pain, it started to be enjoyable for you. So much it brought a small smile on your face while the man concentrated on the moves of his whole arm, slowly increasing the speed of his moves. Slowly, you slipped your hand to accompany his, playing with the small, sensitive bud. Your other palm caught the nape of his neck, tugging on his hair.
The excitement turned into hums, hums turned to moans and moans were slowly pitching up and up until your whole body tensed up. And for all the holy spirits, this felt way better than when you tried it on your own.
You didn't even portray some fingers tearing orgasm, you just smiled lazily and closed your eyes, smiling in the direction of the sky. - "Was that enough excitement for you, dearest, or do you want some more?" - Jin whispered, feeling himself almost exploding solely based on the way you were tightening around his fingers.
"I can handle a bit more, I think. But you have to be gentle with me, dearest." - You answered in the same happy tone as he asked you, massaging his scalp with the tips of your fingers. Sure, your body was feeling dizzy already, but you could take some more surely. And it made the man happy to hear such words from you.
"Why don't you stop smiling for a second?" - You hummed when the man helped you outside the water onto the grass next to the hot spring. He couldn't deny the fact you were making him smile all the time and the expression was especially hard to get off his face. What just happened was still freshly implanted to his brain and honestly, Jin hoped that it will stay that way until the time he meets you again. Oh, sure.
When this crossed his mind, he was pleasantly surprised. Could this be more than a one-time convenience, maybe? He could ask you to go with him to save Tsushima, couldn't he? It was surely at least worth a shot. But these thoughts weren't appropriate at the moment you were at. You've sat down first, sending the man a sweet smile before tugging on his palms to lure him down on the ground. The grass was soothingly cold and velvet-like soft, so you didn't mind laying on your back while the man kneeled between your legs. You felt the brown eyes slowly analyzing every small spot on your upper body he was able to see. At that moment, he couldn't wait to entwine his fingers inside your hair, running his palms down your shoulders, gently palming both your breasts and play with your nipples. Or, he could take you from behind doing a position he was dreaming of. No, that could wait. Because his bottom was so under pressure he thought he'll most likely going to explode any minute.
So he did what he wanted to do. With another shy smile, he helped you lift your pelvis off the ground, holding it in the air so you both would have the best possible angles you could archive. Slowly, Jin had entered you with the biggest love and care he was capable of. And on your own, your body bolted a bit away from him as you opened your mouth to let out a muffled sound. If his fingers made you squirm in slight uncomfortableness, this was a new level of everything. You'd swear you could put your ankles behind your head for a moment, your thighs were on fire for a minute when you tried to get used to the width of his hips. Yet just as before, all it took was a few moves before he made sure your feet were leaned into the ground and he let his palms wander around your chest.
He tried to stay on his knees as long as his willpower let him before pushing your both to the ground, bouncing on you until you both started to moan and gasped for air in a mess of an embrace, where the man put his fingers to your hair with his elbow leaned to the ground below you. For a reason, he needed to keep your face close to his, but it was sweet. Your nails slowly dug into the skin on his back, traveling lower until you caressed his ass when you felt his moves are slowly getting sloppier and sloppier. This man was just about to climax, you deduced - and it was making you aroused to hear the growls leaving his neck.
You never realized that men made sounds when they were enjoying themselves as well. His teeth gritted as he got back on his knees - and the next moment, it was done and finished. Warm fluid covered the area from your belly to your breasts as you laid there without your breath and eyes happily closed. You didn't reach the peak at that time, but to your surprise, you didn't fucking care. He was happy and relaxed and truly, that was all that mattered at the moment.
"We should clean you up, come on." - The man breathed out tiredly, helping you back on your feet as he led you back to the water. There was no sitting on the opposite sides of the hot springs at that time, no. You sat right next to him and leaned your back into Jin's chest while putting your palm on his inner thigh. Unconsciously, you drew small circles there, enjoying the relaxed feeling and a feeling of serenity you felt. You made sure that none of how wounds had re-opened and you better give offerings to the spirits, because the man looked healthy.
"This was beautiful." - You mumbled after a moment, watching his jaw covered in stubble. Jim's lips rose to a big smile before he pressed a gentle kiss on your forehead. And when he sighed, you knew that something's on his mind. So you asked what's that about.
"Are you happy here, living your mundane life? Or are you doing it out of habit and for the safety it provides you? Have you ever thought of that?" - The samurai seemed to be surprised with the depth of his thoughts as his eyebrows arched a bit, creating a small wrinkle on the bridge of his nose. What was this question hinting at? What was he chasing after?
"I think I am happy with having a normal, mundane life of a peasant. You know, I was born into one, I can't imagine what it's like to belong to royalty, to have these privileges, what's like to right for honor and dignity. I never had to do that, you see? So, it is hard for me to imagine a different life. I am happy." - Your final words confirmed the whole train of thoughts you had as you looked back onto the night sky.
"So if I'd propose to you the idea of leaving this place by my side," - Jin breathed out. For a moment, you thought he's just making fun of you. This just couldn't be real. - "To fight for the right thing, would you accept the proposition?" - He wasn't kidding in the slightest bit, damn. Every word he said was truthful to what he was thinking about and wishing for. But this idea was dangerous to begin with, ultimately degrading an honor of a samurai - to have a peasant woman traveling the island by his side could be a thing people would raise their eyebrows at. Let alone imagining the scenario when he would publically proclaim you may be his partner in any way.
They wouldn't make Jin commit seppuku because it would violate the Bushido codex in such a way. These sorts of relationships were more or less simply forbidden. Yes, there were stories of married men seducing farmers and stuff, but... These relationships were kept hidden away in secret, and if someone got to know that married men were anticipating such relationships, they dismissed the talks as rumors, not committing to it. Was that what Jin was asking you for? Or was he simply hoping he would gather another fighter for his cause?
"Most likely not. The girls need any hand they can use to take care of the house. Especially in a time like this. And I am grateful for the appreciation and the care they took me to their household with. I couldn't stumble into a better house on any coincidence, Jin." - With that, you turned to him, pulling your this over his knees to pull closer to him. - "Calling you by your name is enough of a privilege to me. Don't take this personally, please, but I don't see that happening. That would raise a lot of untrust into the samurai family of Sakai, bringing you personally a lot of bad luck and light."
"It's nice that you care about my honor so much, Y/N, but... I've already violated the Bushido codex so many times in so many ways I will be proclaimed ronin when the occupation is ended. I have murdered people without honor and respect, but... My uncle won't make me do seppuku, that I am sure of, but he won't accept my loyalty and service anymore." - And with that, Jin gave you another look, which made your corners turned a bit upwards. You knew what he's proposing you with this statement, but you didn't answer to the context. - "Social statutes won't mean as much after that, you know?"
"If we meet again one day, I will be sure that it was meant by destiny. Yet until that day, it is how it is." - You sighed and leaned your chin to the crook of his neck. His hand started to smooth your upper back gently. - "I am just a peasant and youre a honorous samurai, Jin Sakai. You are destined to do amazing things.

“We only met each other the other day,
but you already got me feeling
some type of way.”
————————————————————————
the waters grew wild as jin’s boat began to fight the current. the samurai ran to the captain the best he could to try and make sure he was okay.
the water became too strong as their boat flipped over and all the passengers were cast out to sea. the last thing jin could remember was calling out for his horse, kage.
~ time skip ~
jin had managed to survive as he washed up on shore. he had some minor injuries and bruises but nothing too severe to stop him. he had to find kage and get into cover. he got away from the eagle after drinking some of her poison and meeting with a raider, tenzo.
the two made their way through the back entrance of the raider’s main hiding location. after the handful of stares that jin had received, he and tenzo had made it to see fune.
“tenzo, you better have a damned good reason to have brought a samurai here.” the woman grunted.
“you told me to go out and find capable fighters. here’s one, without him me and my men wouldn’t have made it back.” tenzo defended.
an intense eye contact was shared between the two before fune spoke. “fine, but one wrong move and it’ll be both your lives.”
“i promise no harm. i simply wish to stop the eagle before she reaches my home, tsushima.” jin interjected.
fune waved her hand in dismissal of his words. “i’ll hold that to you, samurai. anyways, we have bigger issues right now. a mongol ship has been blasting areas close to our home. they’ll discover us sooner or later if we don’t stop them now.”
tenzo spoke quickly with a plan, “i can take a handful of my men and jin to take down the boat.”
“take hanzo with you. i know he’s been just itching to have some mongols meet the end of his blade.” fune chuckled before turning her head slightly and yelling, “hanzo! get your ass up here. you’re going with tenzo and his samurai to take down a mongol ship.”
silence fell for a moment until another figure came up the latter. the figure was wearing a red traveler’s outfit with a black straw hat. mouth and nose covered with a face covering mainly used by thieves.
once the figured made their way over to the three, he looked up to meet jin’s eyes, a shock expression appeared. jin’s eyes matched the look but he said nothing, along with hanzo. it was too risky.
hanzo managed to hide his expression quickly before looking towards fune. “why is there a samurai here?” voice filled with venom, making sure to play his act more.
“the samurai claims that he’s here to stop the eagle. we’re believing him for now as we could use his skill. anyways, that’s not the most important part.” fune responded.
twenty minutes pasted as the four all came up with a solid plan and all going their separate way. jin quickly made his way around the little village in search of hanzo. he had to know if it was truly him.
hanzo was making sure to hide in the shadows away from jin until he got a bit closer to his area. once he could pull jin in without anyone noticing, he did.
jin was met with a tight hug from hanzo once the two were hidden away. jin was confused for a moment before hugging back.
when the two pulled away, jin was first to speak, “Maisaki, is it really you?” hanzo physically cringed at the use of his old name. trying his best to forget that part of himself.
“yes jin… but do you remember what i told you about me? how i didn’t feel like maisaki or really like a girl?” hanzo asked calmly. his hands still on jin’s torso as he looked up at the samurai.
jin broke eye contact as he thought for a moment before turning back to meet hanzo’s gaze. “i apologize, i did forget until just now. forgive me, hanzo. which may i add, suits you well.”
hanzo blushed at his words and quickly looked away to hide it. jin and hanzo were each other’s first ever loves. neither of them knew what to do in that situation so they remained very close friends. of course, their friendship was hidden from everyone because of jin’s father. hanzo would’ve been disowned if anyone had found out about his friendship with the butcher of iki’s son.
“what are you doing here, really? i thought you were dead after what happened at kamono.” hanzo asked as the two left the shadows together once they noticed everyone not looking at their general direction. they made sure to stay a good distance away as they kept their conversation to a hush.
“i was fixed up by a woman named yuna. she helped me along with a few other friends of mine to save lord shimura from khun. i thought i died on that beach too, but without her i would have.” jin paused for a moment before responding to the first question asked. “i meant what i said to fune about the eagle. some of her men ended up on tsushima and causing madness amongst my people. i came to put a stop to it. the normal mongols are enough of a threat.”
the pair grew silent as hanzo took in jin’s words. they had just reached the top of the village and mounted their horses. jin was the first to break the silence.
“what about you? i thought you had died too after my father…” jin trailed off.
hanzo was silent for a moment before responding. “you’re father slaughter half of my village, including my parents. that part i didn’t mind as much as they were cruel people anyways. but some of the other kids that lost their parents didn’t know how to fend for themselves so i tried my best to get them to where i live now. i couldn’t come see you after i had heard about your father. it was too risky and the other kids needed my guidance.”
hanzo was raised as a thief and became extremely good with daggers and a bow. if hanzo didn’t wanna be seen, you would not see him. that’s the one good thing that he got from his parents. jin knew this and he didn’t hold it against the boy. his feelings for hanzo still grew rapidly.
the night grew darker and the pair came across an abandoned house. the house looked raided a bit destroyed, probably from the mongol’s doing. other than that, it would hold up for the night.
“shall me? like old times?” hanzo smiled while getting off his horse. he gave his jet black horse a few pets and a treat before heading inside. jin watched hanzo intently, unconsciously licking his lips.
a memory of the two sharing their first kiss under some cherry blossom trees popped up in his head. he smiled fondly at the sweet kiss. they had to be around the age of 16 when jin had brought hanzo over to see his father’s fort while everyone was away.
they made it to the training area where a beautiful cherry blossom tree was held. there jin had managed to gather enough courage to pin hanzo to the tree and kiss him softly. the kiss turned slightly heated as hanzo’s hands grasped more on jin’s hair and pulled jin’s body closer to him.
jin shook his head to pull himself from the memory, his head tingling slightly from the phantom feeling of his hair being tugged on. it was enough to feel something he hasn’t felt in a long time, lust.
“jin! you coming?” hanzo’s head popped out from the window to check in on the samurai.
“yes, sorry. i was just thinking about tomorrow.” jin lied as he made his way inside. hanzo had changed from his traveler’s attire to just a blue kamono, the top of his chest exposed but the rest was hidden by some bandages wrapped around his mid section.
“what are those bandages?” jin asked slightly concerned. hanzo looked down to see his bindings being slightly exposed, he quickly covered it the best he could with his kamono.
“it’s not a wound so don’t worry. it just some bindings to hide my…” hanzo trailed off, not comfortable saying the rest. jin understood and apologized for his intrusion.
“it’s alright. you haven’t seen me in awhile and i’m probably the first person you ever met that is this way.” hanzo smiled sweetly.
jin returned the smile, “you are but i’ll always respect you. you know that.” jin walked closer towards hanzo. hanzo blushed once more at his words while also backing away slightly, well, until his back hit the wall.
“jin?” hanzo’s breath staggered slightly. “what are you doing?”
“finishing what we started under those cherry blossoms. if that’s alright with you?” jin replied, voice dropping lower as his hands came on each side of hanzo’s head.
the pair stayed in that position while jin waited for something to confirm that hanzo wanted this.
“my lord…” hanzo breathed out before crashing his lips into jin’s big ones. jin felt a fire build up in him upon hearing those words from hanzo. he never thought those every day words could affective him so much.
hanzo’s hands traveled up to feel jin’s chest, pulling his shirt down off his shoulders, feeling the muscles under. jin grunted from the feeling of hanzo’s fingers against his skin. everything in him was burning with desire and want. something he’s only ever experienced with hanzo.
hanzo soon removed jin’s shirt completely which led him to pulling away and admiring jin’s chest and toned stomach. he didn’t have fully defined abs but the sight itself was still enough to make hanzo’s core warm up even more.
“mind if i?” jin’s face was now kissing along hanzo’s neck and collar bone as he moved to place his hands to pull off the kamono.
“please, just not the bindings.” hanzo consented. jin respected his wishes with the bindings and removed only his kamono, leaving hanzo fully exposed.
jin swallowed hard while he took in the sight, hanzo was truly more beautiful than he could have ever imagined. hanzo noticed his stare and got extremely self conscious.
the thief moved to cover what he could of his body but that was stopped by the samurai before him. “don’t hide from me, you’re more handsome that i would have ever imagined.” jin cupped hanzo’s face with one hand while the other moved to wrap around his waist.
jin managed to lift hanzo with one arm and guided him onto the makeshift bed that hanzo had made. hanzo’s hands moved to undo jin’s hair and run his fingers through the long strands.
“fuck, my lord.” hanzo moaned out as jin’s lips trailed down hanzo’s torso and met his core. jin moved hanzo’s thighs onto his shoulders before leaning in and teasing him slightly with his tongue.
hanzo whimpered lightly at this and moved his hips to gain some relief. “jin, please. don’t tease me, i’ve waited years for you.” hanzo begged. hearing his cries, jin gave in and moved his tongue magic on hanzo’s clit while two fingers made their way to his entrance.
hanzo’s fingers grasped tightly onto jin’s hair as he tried to push jin closer to him, feeling like he was on the top of the world right now. jim’s fingers and tongue were like his sword arm, undefeated. hanzo knew jin would be good in bed, but he didn’t think he was this good.
the feeling of hanzo being pushed over the edge was coming up and jin could sense it. hanzo’s legs were shaking at this point as jin matched his tongue’s rhythm with his fingers right on hanzo’s spot.
“my lord! i’m so close! please don’t stop! you do me so well!” hanzo moaned out as his thighs clenched around jin’s head. jin didn’t stop his movements, wanting hanzo to feel like he was on top of the world until the very end.
jin sped up his movements and waiting for hanzo to come undone on his tongue. he didn’t wait long for hanzo’s orgasm to ride through his body. his walls clenching around jin’s fingers as he came hard.
hanzo breathed heavily while jin quickly cleaned up his mess down below. he moved back up to meet hanzo at eye level. “you taste delicious, hanzo. you have no idea how long i’ve waited to taste you. you have no idea how long i’ve wanted you. now that i have you, you won’t ever leave again.”
the thief looked up into jin’s eyes, searching for anything that could say he was lying, but he found nothing. jin meant every word he said and it made hanzo’s heart flutter. hanzo had felt the same way for years. he never made time for any other person that took interest in him. he always played it off as he had no time or he didn’t want to get attached to anyone again, but in reality he just never got over jin sakai.
“oh jin, i’ve been waiting for you for years. i don’t want to leave ever again.” hanzo said before crashing his lips back onto jin’s bigger ones. hanzo helped slip jin out of his remaining clothes before moving one of his hands down to grasp his length and start pumping him slightly.
jin moaned in the kiss and pulled away slightly admire hanzo’s body once more. “you’re so handsome and you’re all mine. my pretty boy.” jin moved a free hand to wrap around hanzo’s neck and applying some pressure before lining himself up to hanzo’s entrance.
“are you ready for me?” jin asked, wanting to make sure that hanzo was comfortable with everything.
hanzo nodded and managed to get some words out, “yes my lord, please make me feel good again.” jin didn’t waste a second to oblige to hanzo’s wish. he pushed himself fully in and waited a few minutes before moving himself back and forth slowly.
jin’s mouth found its way back to hanzo’s collar bones as his grasped tightened slightly. it was tight enough to the point where hanzo’s breathing was limited but not to the point where he couldn’t breathe. the light headedness and the pleasure from jin speeding up his thrusts mixed together and cause hanzo to be on a familiar feeling of pleasure.
it was more intense than how it felt just a minute ago as hanzo’s body was still overly sensitive and coming down from his previous high. jin knew this and used it to his advantage. once he felt content with his choking, he released hanzo’s neck and moved his hand down to rub his overstimulated clit.
hanzo moaned out loudly and clawed at jin’s back, back arched up to meet with jin’s chest. the sight was truly beautiful to jin as he pounded harder into hanzo. he felt hanzo’s tight walls clenching around him like they did with his fingers and it felt like heaven. jin hadn’t imagined something like this could feel so good.
“you feel so good around me, hanzo. you’re doing so good for me. no one else could ever make you feel like this. no one else will ever make you feel this good.” he whispered in hanzo’s ear which followed up with a few moans of his own.
“i’m so close! don’t stop please.” hanzo cried out as he pulled jin closer to his body. jin granted his wishes and kept his current pace along with his fingers on his clit.
soon hanzo came again but more intense than last time. jin felt himself become close as he felt the walls tighten around him, almost sending him to the edge.
hanzo’s high had started to calm down when jin finally reached his climax. he released himself deep inside hanzo, moaning his name as he did.
the two stayed in that position until they caught their breath. jin rolled off hanzo and moved them so he could hold hanzo to his chest.
“that was the greatest thing i’ve ever felt.” hanzo spoke up, looking up at jin.
“i would most definitely agree. i’m sure if anyone else is around they would probably say the same thing considering how loud you were for me.” jin teased and kissing hanzo’s forehead.
hanzo blushed deeply at this, “i’m sorry my lord, your skill is just unmatched. both in fighting and in bed.”
the two chuckled at the comment before getting comfortable together and falling asleep soundly.

Ghost of Tsushima CYOA Part 3
Link to part 1, and to part 2. This fic is rated Teen.
"Hurry up and warn Tenzo!" won. As it should, Tenzo is cool.
Part 3 is below the cut, and the poll for what will happen in part 4 ^_^
He had to warn Tenzo. Even if the raider could fight off the samurai long enough to make his escape, the civilians couldn’t. Even without The Eagles poison clouding their minds, the sight of samurai on Iki would dredge up traumatic memories. Jin had a few of his own, he wouldn’t wish the experience on anyone.
He practically charged into Fort Sakai, the horses milling around their stables raised their heads in concern. Jin leapt off Kaze and rolled on the landing, the better to spring up and keep his forward momentum.
“Tenzo!” He called out. The civilians—technically active and retired raiders—eyed him with concern.
“Up here Jin!” Tenzo waved from one of the watchtowers.
Jin vaulted up the ladder and stood in front of his friend, winded. “Tenzo—”
“The samurai? I know. Unless you’re here to warn me about another disaster?”
“No,” Jin panted, “Fune’s… refuge… is safe.” He was bent nearly double but Tenzo’s hands on his torso made him stand tall.
Tenzo pulled Jin’s hands over his head and mimed taking a deep breath.
Jin felt patronized, until it worked. How did he keep stumbling upon such kind people that his station—former station—as a samurai required him to be enemies with? First Yuna… now Tenzo. He looked into the deep brown eyes shaded by gray hair and felt understood and known in way he hadn’t since Ryuzo. This was dangerous territory; literally and metaphorically.
“We need to leave.” He stated.
“I don’t disagree. That’s why Fune’s crew is taking the last of the refugees out of here. They’re going down an old path we used to scout the fort, the samurai don’t know about it.”
Jin bit his tongue. The past was behind him, and in his fights against the Mongols, he’d done much the same as the people of Iki. Tenzo and he weren’t so dissimilar.
“Then why are you still here?” Jin glanced down into the fort’s courtyard and confirmed that, yes, the horses were scattered except for Kaze and the people were gone. He was along with Tenzo.
“I want to know why the samurai are here. Perhaps you can provide some insight? Do you recognize that banner?” Tenzo pointed to the sashimono flag waving above a soldier’s back.
Jin stared and raised a hand to block the sun’s glare. It was a red flag… with a white diamond… and a sun above the sea. Shimura. His uncle was on Iki. He didn’t dare say that for fear of upsetting Tenzo, an himself. His uncle, or at least his men, were here.
Would his uncle speak with him on ground that wasn’t Tsushima? Would he kill him on sight? Hope and dread warred in Jin’s chest. The Eagle’s poison was gone, but poisonous words still lurked in his subconscious. That he would kill his uncle, that he should let Shimura kill him, that he’d never be worthy and how fitting to meet with his uncle here, at the island his father died on.
“Jin.”
Jin swayed on his feet.
“Jin!” Tenzo shook his shoulder. “I know you recognize that banner. Who is it?”
Jin contemplated lying. He knew Tenzo would see right through him but the temptation was there. “It’s clan Shimura.”
“Oh. Fuck.” Tenzo dropped his hand from Jin’s shoulder. “I’m sorry. I know you and your uncle had a falling out.”
“Funny, that a duel to the death is a falling out. Imagine what would happen if we really hated each other.” Jin said with dry wit. The joke fell flat.
“Do you want to talk to him?” Tenzo asked.
Jin pondered.

Ghost of Tsushima: Most Emotional Moments;
1. Death of Yuriko (Jin’s caretaker)
Jin and Yuriko meet at the cemetery where Yuriko’s family is buried. Yuriko mistakes Jin for Kazumasa (Jin’s father), and recites a story when Kazumasa bought little Jin to Yuriko after losing Lady Sakai. When Yuriko mistakes Jin for his father, Jin simply pretends to be his father and goes along with it. When little Jin got sick, they were all together and Yuriko reflects on the moment when Jin taught her to ride to the onsen and how that was the best day of her life. Jin learns the Art of Seeing; retelling their memories of Yarikawa (the tragic war between the clans), Castle Kanada (saying that Jin had too many responsibilities there and they didn’t get to share much time as they would have liked), and Kushi Temple Pagoda (where Yuriko prays for Kazumasa, Jin and her family). When Jin inquires Yuriko of what she sees, she’s already passed on.
“The strength we need is all around us. The mighty fall at last... To be no more than dust before the wind.”
2. Taka’s Death
Taka gets caught when he attempts to help Jin. The Kahn comes to captured Jin and Taka, Jin sees the Kahn’s tactics - divide and conquer - and the Kahn frees Taka, telling him that if he kills the Legend, the Ghost, then he’s free to go. When Taka attempts to attack the Kahn instead, and he gets decapitated in the process. The Kahn tells Jin that he’s going to choose another, then he must choose again. After being freed, Jin has to be the one who delivers the message to Yuna of Taka’s death. Upon discovering Taka’s corpse, Yuna breaks down and lashes at Jin. After they both dismantle the Straw Hats, they bury Taka together. Jin states that it’s Kahn, Ryuzo, every Mongol in the Island’s fault, and Yuna says she has no other option but to stay and fight.
“I swore I’d give him a good life, keep him safe. This isn’t your fault. It’s mine.” “No, it was the Kahn, Ryuzo, every Mongol in this island. Help me kill them all. Help me avenge Taka.”
3. Nobu (Trust), Sora (Sky), Kage (Shadow), or Kaze (Wind)’s Death
After Jin escapes the fate of being sent to the mainland to be dealt for his crimes, he flees the castle on horseback, and his horse takes a considerable arrow beating. Before Jin can reach Kin to meet up with Yuna, his horse limps, staggers and falls, and shortly after, passes away. It marks the end of Act II and enters into Act III (Kill the Kahn), and Jin’s quest to avenge, and the emotional control he upholds gradually erode as he would employ more of the Ghost’s terrorizing, stealthy and ‘dishonorable’ tactics and techniques.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t protect you.”
4. The ‘Kill’ Ending
“The Ghost is an outlaw. He taught our people to defy their leaders --”  “To defend themselves. I had to stop you from throwing away our people’s lives.”  “You have no honor.” “And you’re a slave to it.”
Lord Shimura and Jin meet for the last time, and the former intends to take Jin’s head to start a new family. They spend their last day together as father and son to write the last words of Clan Sakai and Clan Shimura. Jin reflects on time as a young boy, Lord Shimura telling him that his parents will always be with them. While Jin graves, his uncle promises to raise Jin as his own son and make Jin the greatest warrior Clan Sakai has ever seen. They have their duel, and Jin comes out triumphant, and has two options; either spare Lord Shimura and let him live and walk away, or kill him to give a warrior’s death.
“I will make sure you are remembered. As a great warrior... A wise leader, and a father.”  “Thank you, my son. Find me... in the next life.”
Jin screams, howls out in agony and pain.
