My take on a revived clover AU

I like to think that monsters preserved the human children as a sort of remembrance using similar magic to their food since it doesn’t expire, but since humans have more physical matter it only delays rotting rather than completely stopping it, and since clover had died being much less harmed because they gave up their soul rather than getting murdered they get to be the first to come back with minor changes since they didn’t rot that much and their internal organs stayed in tact.

Also in this au flowey kinda goes MIA on frisk and doesn’t wanna be friends/isn't ready to talk to them juuuuust yet, clover’s kind of an exception though :D which also means frisk doesn't reaaallly know about clover til weeks later cause clover isn't ready to face martlet starlo or anyone else until they feel ready, dying and choosing to be alone as a 12 year old can be not great for the brain

Flowey is technically clovers guide through the underground but is still trying to get the other humans to wake up so he’s kinda busy but will know if clover is near a save like in game.

I might give this clover figerless gloves to hide the more human-lookin' skin

Clover is actually essentially sneaking around places like waterfall and snowdin town, staying places that have small shops and less people that would be able to recognize them

Hán and Ankiusk are good friends, but during the time that they’re getting their medical certifications they’re both still learning the Galactic Standardized language. That combined with Ankiusk’s lack of a jaw to make the click (!) letter, there are a lot of communication issues.

And I mean… what do you call an alien animal in an alien language so that a third alien can relate it to yet another alien animal. Language may be evil but comparative xenobiology is even more so.

@ my christian friends who are trying to faithfully attend their local churches but have opinions/identities/understandings that often isolate them from other believers

jesus loves you

there is room for you in the body of christ. jesus didn't reach you by accident or forget to leave you a seat at the table.

there is room for disagreement in the body of christ. god is vast, and we may take different routes to plumb the depths of his heart. we will be correct on things while others are wrong, and we will be wrong where others are correct. we are children trying to fathom particle physics. it's okay. be humble, but be bold.

god understands if church is not a safe place for you to be. sometimes, unfortunately, we have backgrounds that make church hard. keep seeking the lord, be open to his leading, try to find christian community where you can. remember that you are still part of the body even if you claim no particular membership. you are not divorced from communion.

be patient with your brothers and sisters. we are all works in progress, and it takes iron to sharpen iron. we collide, and we change.

there are good, godly people in your local body with whom you can share your heart. i live in the absolute buckle of the bible belt (deep american south) and some of the things i believe and value are... unpopular. however, i have found people in the body who love and cherish my heart, even if they do not understand it, and i have found those with whom i have common understanding. spirit sings to spirit, the same spirit animates all of us.

disagreement is not a always threat, it's a chance for all parties to learn.

seek to serve your local church. we want the church to do for us, and it can and will, but our ultimate fulfillment is in the cycle of giving-and-receiving. think of your own body: its coexistence, with all parts receiving and giving in equal measure.

fight bitterness, resentment, and despair at every turn. yes, this body is broken. yes, this body is christ's. do not give up on the bride.

I think my favorite doctor who moment is when a woman in the 2040s who is in her like 40s/50s says "my nan had a tumblr" which means she's like my age (born in 99) and yet her grandma had a tumblr

and I know the joke was supposed to be to make us tumblr users feel old like woah! her GRANDMA had one? but bc they did the math wrong it just makes it sound like her grandmother, who is the same age as our grandmothers, used tumblr. granny was blogging about one direction in her 70s.

Just saw a transmasc person talking about how they “peaked” (I.e. became a radfem/TERF) because no one would let them talk about the oppression they faced as a “biological female”...Some of y’all are so lost, I swear.

ALL trans people should be able to talk about the misogyny they face, period and it’s bullshit when people try to brush your experiences aside. It’s wrong and bigoted.
