During my 3rd rewatch I decided to enlist everything that I like about the proshot (act 1)

- the way oak sings “sewing” in “my shot”

- all the straight™ looks exchanged between alex and john

- all the lighting changes

- the choreography consisting of throwing chairs like wtf how did they manage not to drop them

- anthony’s energy

- hercules is basically papa smurf

- daveed’s facial expressions are everything

- angelica’s attitude

- thayne is just 🥺🥺

- I feel like chris jackson is 100 times better in the proshot than on the soundtrack

- “close the door on your way OUT”

- all things considered, lin is a great actor and he conveys a lot of emotions w his voice

- every time jazzy smiles to anthony

- funny that when lafayette says “I pray that france has sent a ship” I thought he says “shit” instead of “ship” because he says it in such pissed manner

- lin doesn’t bite his lip throughout the whole play (thank god)

- the symbolism of the quill and later the saber given to alexander by gwash

- alex’ face after he asks eliza to read the letter for him, it displays crippling shudder but also this naive hope that maybe, just maybe, the letter is not what he expects it to be
