This was an old WIP that I had started months ago, at the beginning of my colouring adventure. I was really impressed and intimidated by the fact that I WANTED to make a soft pastels backround and was afraid I could totally ruin one page in this beautiful book... The shapes in the designs made me think of the 4 Elements, that's why it's so colourful, with Fire on top of Ivy, Water under her feet, Wind with the stars and sky, Earth on the ground! I coloured this one to try out watercolour pencils (for the tree and the flowers) but I didn't really like them, I totally messed up the background that was super streaky and saved it as I could with acrylic paint. I finished the picture with my wax Castle Art Supplies coloured pencils.
