Who wants runny sauce? Then I thought, “Why don’t I just cook my pasta right in the sauce? 🤯 I did boil the pasta for a couple minutes and drained before cooking it the rest of the way in the sauce. I didn’t want my sauce to disappear. Worked like a charm!! I always use hand crushed @centofinefoods Whole Peeled San Marzano Tomatoes, I know that helped too😍 It’s like having fresh “second day pasta” today!! Check the free Recipe Drawer App for new recipes Italian meatballs Ingredients 3/4 cup Italian bread crumbs 1 small onion finely diced 1 pound ground beef 1 pound ground pork 2 eggs 3 gloves of garlic (i use minced garlic) 3 tablespoons of salt 2 table spoon black pepper 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes 1 tablespoon dried Italian herb seasoning 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese Directions Preheat an oven to 425 degrees F Cover a baking sheet with foil and spray lightly with cooking spray. Mix beef and pork together in a large bowl. Stir onions, bread crumbs, eggs, garlic, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, Italian herb seasoning, and Parmesan cheese into meat mixture with a rubber spatula (i use my washed hands) until combined. Using wet hands, form meat mixture into balls about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Arrange onto prepared baking sheet.
