As frustrating as it was to watch haein be manipulated by that clown once again, it's still refreshing that this drama reminds us that these communication issues don't just go away. And haein not telling hyunwoo then and there was reasonable since she was shocked and what she hates doing is hurting him and it's been reiterated that she approaches situations wrong in an effort to protect her ppl at her own expense. Obviously she still has a lot to learn in this regard (so come on drama she needs to live and grow thank you).
It's also clear that in that moment she wanted to use the clown too, to get back into the house and see her grandfather which is smart thinking on her part, I just wish she'd be a little more stern with the clown because it seems like she just lets him ramble on and honestly cuts him too much slack by giving him her time of day when she should just be like okay next, are you done? Because after all the bad things he's done, he really just doesn't deserve that meal with her but eh I'd like to think haein was just doing what he wanted to get to see her grandfather.
Also there's potential the clown was somehow involved in her brother's death or witnessed it because now we know hyunwoo saved her so the fact that the clown is pointing out that he saved her suggests something so great another mystery that I have no idea whether they will unravel.
Anyway the ep was frustrating cuz there was too much clown time but I still think it deals with hyunwoo and haein's relationship well, these issues aren't resolved over night or just because they love each other, they need to keep at and eventually they'll get there, I just hope the drama gives haein the time she deserves.

A story in 3 acts:
She broke a nail on our walk, the snow helped numb it but I put a boot on her to protect it.
Immediately after the nail OP in the bathroom. She ran away and brought back a toy. My bathroom looks like a murder scene though.
Bed jail to stop her from getting blood everywhere and help keep the wound gel on.
#the nail was broken about in the middle#so I just clipped it off a tad above the break#sure I cut in the quick and it bled more but eh#desinfected it#put wound gel on and she's fine#no need for a trip to the vet#this is her 4th nail injury#it's getting old#quick is exposed for now but it'll die off a bit at the top and the nail will grow over it again#just gonna desinfected every time we go inside again after a walk

He would be devastated and heartbroken. Not to say he wouldn't be proud of their strength and resilience, but beaming with pride? While watching them suffer?? Absolutely not. His children have been through horrendous trauma and, through no fault of their own, have had to go to desperate measures to survive.
I'm not a parent, but I know how my parents would react if they saw me in Arya's, Sansa's, Rickon's, Bran's or Jon's position. They wouldn't stand back and say "hell yeah! you got this, bitch! so proud of you!" They would do everything in their power to get me back. They would weep and grieve.

As much as I love to read into the deeper, inner meanings of fiction, especially where my favourite characters are concerned, I really think MDZS isn't meant to be taken that seriously. It's been like years on since the book was first released, and people are still bringing up the same dull, discourse that doesn't bring anything new to the table at all.
All it's doing is ruining what should be a fun, fandom experience. It's like, don't y'all get bored? Discussing nuances to a book that may or may not exist, over inflating character actions and being disingenuous about certain characters just to uplift your faves? All of it has already been discussed.. Way too many times over. You have your own opinion on the text, I have my own. Stick to your faves and stop ruining everyone's fandom experience just because you've interpreted it a certain way.
It's even more irksome when the text they're over analysing isn't meant to be that deep. I remember there being a post claiming JC was abusive to WWX, their only evidence being the scene where he strangled him.. Right after a very traumatic event.
We can see in the scene that JC was not of sound mind. And in fiction, writers tend to exaggerate that aspect for the sake of dramatics, to keep the audience hooked. It wasn't meant to be a deep scene, highlighting JC's "abusive nature" towards WWX. The takeaway from that scene is that JC's parents had died, their sect wiped out and now they're two orphans thrown into a war torn world. You were supposed to sympathise with them, not read deeply into a child's trauma response. It wasn't that deep, lmao.
I think this reading too deeply into things is what has ruined the fandom and has given it its fame for toxicity :\
It's annoying, too, because I wish these people would maintain that consistency and read deeply into their own faves' actions.. But they don't, which is really telling that this isn't a case of applying accurate media literacy but rather a severe case of main character syndrome

There are usually 3 or 4 of us in one place at any given time. If I'm working with Shax or Hastur though, more of us will go. They tend to express their anger by killing me.

Late night pet peeve:
Memes and jokes about schizophrenia, but made out of ignorance and lack of knowledge.
I meme my schizophrenia all the time, it helps me cope. However, I am getting really tired of hearing the "i'm in your walls" and "CIA is watching you" jokes.
Also the jokes that say "The voices are telling me to kill" or something like that.
Jokes like that are harmful and ignorant and stereotypical and it's getting tiring.
As someone who memes their schizophrenia, I want new joke material that isn't harmful or ignorant.
