Can we all as a fandom agree, that Tommy Kinard is Abby’s ex-boyfriend Tommy?!
Cause like, the idea of Tommy and Buck both being Abby’s ex and now they’re dating each other is to funny to pass up!!!

the age difference never really bothered me with buck & abby, partly because although every focuses on buck's immaturity in s1 i always found abby a little immature when it came to romantic relationships too (i don't know if immature is the right word, maybe just inexperienced/unsure/etc?). in different ways and for different reasons obviously, and partly because she'd kind of put her life on hold for her mom.
(the only thing that truly bothered me with them in s1 was how she got his number from the 911 stuff, that was ick)
yeah it was very clear buck needed to date someone older with real life problems to learn how to like. be a PARTNER (which set him up perfectly for eddie might I add). and abby needed to be with someone for selfish reasons (young hot firefighter who is very nice to her).
it IS kinda bad how she got his number but I don’t think it was malicious and kind of on par with how all the first responders on this show act. I think at least half of them have stalked someone at one point. except chimney I can’t think of anything he has ever done wrong go chimney

lol Clarke joking with firefighter Lexa about her using a 'stripper pole' at work
Okay just imagine they’re in their weird flirtationship/courting stage right and the baby is with grandma Abby.
Clarke and Lexa have just finished a dinner date, but they don’t want the night to end and grandma has the baby until the next morning, so they go on a walk. Clarke is the tiniest bit tipsy because she never lets loose and with Lexa she feels safe. That and Lexa drove and told her to drink as much as she’d like.
So she’s slightly tipsy. Just enough to make her feel young and silly and like she’s in her young twenties again which she kind of missed out on after getting pregnant. They’re walking down the street, Clarke is barefoot, her heels in her hands and shes got her head on Lexa’s shoulder as they stroll and chat and laugh at nothing and everything.
It’s a small town right, so eventually they end up passing the station. Lexa thinks nothing of it, but Clarke wants to go in. So Lexa just chuckles and agrees and they enter the nearly deserted station. It’s late, so it’s just a skeleton crew there now. A dispatcher, a 4-man team. The mood is pretty chill, shooting the wind until they get that call. They formalize the fuck up when they’re captain walks in but Lexa just waves them off and they go back to playing pool and smoking their cigars.
“Wanna see the fleet?” Clarke doesn’t really know what the means, but Lexa’s eyes are sparkling so she nods and Lexa takes her out to the massive garage holding the stations four trucks. For such a small town, it’s a little nuts. But the fire fighters are at the heart of this community. Given the dry, arid climate, fires are common. And it’s a tight knit community so the people that keep them safe from those fires are like gods.
So anyways Lexa walks Clarke through, pointing out all of the tools and instruments on the truck, discussing the newest hoses they’d just gotten. She’s like a child in a candy store and Clarke’s trying her best to listen, but she’s mostly just enamored and smitten with the way Lexa is so passionate. She follows behind the fire fighter, running her finger tips on the cool, bright red sides of the trucks, nodding and smiling every once in a while.  She feels young and light (and in love) and it’s been a while since she’s had that.
Lexa must read it on her face because she stops and pulls Clarke into her arms, kissing her. “You seem happy.”
“You make me happy.”
“I’m glad.”
And it’s all so gay and sweet. So they continue the tour and eventually Lexa makes it to the three-story pole. And Clarke immediately giggles and is all like, “show me a dance, hot stuff.”
and Lexa…feeling more playful than she ever has, chuckles and says, “show me the money.”
So Clarke legit pulls a dollar bill out of her purse and stuffs it in the breast pocket of Lexa’s button up. And Lexa is kind of stunned at first and a little mortified but she can see how happy and carefree Clarke is and she loves that, so she just kind of shrugs and laughs and fucks around like a dork on the pole, much to Clarke’s amusement.
They’re both in a fit of laughs, the stomach burning, cheek aching kind, when Lexa takes a breath and manages to say “your turn.”
She’s expecting something ridiculous and silly. She’s NOT expecting Clarke to grind on the pole, dance around it like she was made to, and stare at Lexa the entire time with ‘fuck me’ eyes. Lexa sobers up real fast and is over to Clarke in a second.
Before Clarke can really register it, her back is against the wall and Lexa is grinding her hips against her and kissing her and Clarke is ABOUT IT. Things get heated against the wall you guys, I’m telling you. The thud of Clarke and Lexa stumbling towards the floor echoes around the entire garage and a minute later they hear the distant voice of one of the guys on the third floor checking in on them…which of course makes them giggle.
And then let’s just say they make full use of the fact that the baby is having a sleepover at grandma’s.
