Okay but given that you can make alcohol from just about any plant, a world built around Minecraft could have SUCH a liquor cabinet.
You’ve got your basics, the potato and wheat vodka, gin, whiskey, then rum from sugarcane or beet sugar if you’re feeling a little adventurous.
Then you’ve got the fancier things. Dandelion and melon wine, spike vodka, pumpkin liqueur, applejack. Zhuyeqing jiu and chocolate liquor if you REALLY want to go for the cool stuff.
You’ve got mead and all kinds of moonshine, everything from carrots to kelp to sawdust brandy if you live out in the Badlands. Sunflower and rose spirits, lilac wine, even milk liquor and advocaat if you want to deviate from plants a bit.
But then you’ve got the plants that don’t exist in our sphere.
Chorus liqueur, dripleaf absinthe, glowberry champagne and sweet berry wine, glow lichen beer and crème de spore blossom, golden apple cider, glistering cordial. For the truly danger-seeking, wither rose lanique.

Local Alchemist needed to be stopped.
My formula of restore fatigue:
Spring salad: lettuce, radish, potato, (optional: apple, orange, watermelon). Unfortunately it has Burden side effect. (if choose orange, you'll get a bonus Shield effect)
Can also side with Ranch dressing: cheese wedge, leek, onion, garlic. And this one has Damage Agility side effect. It can be fix by removing the garlic.
Potato soup: potato, garlic, leek. This recipe has Frost Shield side effect. Perfect choice for a cold weather.
Corn salsa: corn, tomato, onion, garlic. Unfortunately it has Damage Agility side effect, but you can get Detect Life in the process.
Grilled cheese sandwich: bread loaf, cheese wedge, cheese wheel. Unfortunately it has Damage Agility side effect. I should have removed the cheese wedge. Sorry Baurus :(
Classic ham sandwich: bread loaf, cheese wedge, ham, lettuce. Unfortunately this recipe also has Damage Agility side effect, but bonus Fire Shield woohoo!
Gyudon: beef, onion, rice
Mix berries: blackberry, strawberry, (we only have two kinds of berries?) (optional: apple, orange, pear). Actually, don't put apple or pear in it. They will cause Damage Health.
Crabby corn soup: crab, corn, onion. You can add cheese wedge for bonus Fire Shield (and Damage Agility) effect.
Chili con carne: beef (/boar meat /mutton /venison), onion, garlic, tomato. Side effect is Detect Life. (Beef flavor will grant you Shield effect. Unfortunately Boar meat will have burden side effect and Venison is Damage Health)
Pumpkin pie: pumpkin, sweetcake (/flour /sweetroll). Unfortunately both flour and sweetroll has Damage Personality side effect
Carrot cake: carrot, sweet cakes
Strawberry cheesecake: strawberry, cheese wedge, flour (/sweetcake /sweetroll). The flour version has Reflect Damage side effect. I highly recommend it.

my midterm/absolutorium is over and now i can actually. celebrate my bday lol i was too buried by uni bs this month to unwind.
i got like three diff pieces of cake from my fave pastry shop bc I DESERVE IT AFTER BLOWING MY PRESENTATION/DEFENSE OUT THE PARK (according my my classmates/prof but also ME MIETTE!!! IM SO HAPPY I DIDNT CLAM UP LIKE I DID DURING THE ONLINE PRESENAYSH AUHJA. And the prof cadre actually??? Seemed interested and asked me questions abt the process etc. Which is not on brand, usually they seem disinterested in what ppl are presenting and only a few projects get their attention. NGL after working my ass off beading these skulls i feel JUSTLY REWARDED. HARD WORK PAID OFF. And as per uj they couldnt believe i make them all by hand lmaaaaooo
anyway zen right now after beinf so stressed last week & the weekend i can actually relax. enjoy my term break. make some clay critters
also the pics are kind of ehhh bcs the artificial lighting was super intense and kind of took away the softness/dark colors from the skulls esp :c i dont really want to upload hi res pics of these things until im finished with my masters 100% and hopefully have my degree. The red skull esp looks kind of miserable compared to rl/vids/proper documentation but i dont want to upload now. idk maybe i will once i rest and think abt it?

Crafting update! I have not yet finished the elephant, but I did get most of my small plushies put in their temporary home, and got a bunch more fabric put away!
The elephant might be finished tomorrow? I’ve only got two machine sewn seams left to add, then it’s time to add the stuffing and do the final handsewing. And then maybe add tusks, I haven’t decided yet lol

I did not enjoy it at all. many small bad newses today and one large one#but the thing about bad days is that they end! and I am pulling the plug on this one early#gonna curl up real small in my nice warm bed and read Call of Duty fic and then I'm going to sleep#and I will deal with tomorrow's problems tomorrow!!#also coming to me tomorrow is a lovely delivery from the vegeble man. carrots and parsnips and 'a cabbage surely favored by the Lord'#I am excited to eat the godsblessed cabbage. I haven't made golubtsi in far too long#and after we eat all the golubtsi (it will not take long. I really love cabbage) I'm gonna make root vegetable fries#with the carrots and parsnips and with my sweet potatoes which I grew my own self! massive sweet potato harvest#and with the root fries we're gonna have a sort of mushroom and blue cheese stuffed meatloaf#(used to be I made separate burgers for us all but that takes a lot longer and the meatloaf I can put in the oven with the fries)#anyway tomorrow will be a better day! I will make it so! with the power of cabbage!!!!

#sorry guys already had a bottle with my brother + his partner#currently we are improvising trying to make oat flour by grinding with a knife#so we can then make gravy#because we have no normal flour :-/#we finished the santa clause while cooking it was really nice !!#this is my first ever christmas away from home and family and it’s strange but also v nice#and peaceful#it’s weird that it’s not hot tho i won’t lie#usually christmas is humid#laura says some things#oh my god guys the oat flour crushed with a knife just might work#we r making chicken with prosciutto and roast potatoes but special mum recipe!!! that makes them soo crunchy!!#and then i made dauphinois potatoes last night so we’re having that too + mushrooms n snow peas#and also deconstructed cheesecake for dessert!!! it’s a day!!#talks of watching little women tonight and also a dance party hehe

on a semi related note there r like 2 specific times i remember expecting one of my safe foods and getting something entirely different and being SO insanely upset abt it even though the thing i got still tasted good
#the first my uncle asked me what i wanted 4 dinner while he was staying with us#and i said cheesy chicken and rice my fav food and he Made cheesy chicken and rice but it was like. a completely different dish than what i#refer to as cheesy chicken and rice and it was good food but i was rly rly rly upset. and i feel bad bc again it was good and my uncles a#great cook but i was expecting my comfort food and got something different#the other big one was i always get the wisconsin six cheese from dominos. and if i dont get the wisconsin six cheese i get the beautiful an#delicious pizza me and my mom named greg . rly funny story actually. but greg is basically. hes got ranch instead of tomato sauce and then#chicken bacon (always at least these 2) and mushrooms if possible for toppings. and hes great#and one time my mom was ordering dominos and asked me what i wanted and i said the wisconsin 6 cheese yk. and it came and it had ranch sauc#and my mom was like oph yeah i thought itd be fun to try the ranch sauce since we like it on greg so i thought id surprise you. and i#literally couldnt eat the pizza and i started crying over it bc i had been rly excited for the 6 cheese#but yes. greg is my goto pizza everywhere except dominos on occasion if they dont let u do rnch as a sauce we do alfredo instead#hes very trustworthy and i love him... we got him umm. the first time we ordered him was when we were doing my sleep study#so we were like waiting outside the hospital and we were like oh we should order something 2 eat since we havent had dinner yet#and we went to order and 4 somereason we couldnt get the 6cheese idk if like one of th cheeses was out of stock or something ???#but we were like ok lets just make a new pizza lol. and we made him and then dominos was like Ok what do you want to name the pizza#and idk why i think it was late but that question was like. Love seeing a "What will you refuse to eat" kind of thing bc there r plenty of foods I don't like, but I also have a Try Everything disease which means I want to try everything. Including things not meant to be eaten (like raw boba or plain espresso beans lol). & even foods I don't like, every so often I will try them again Just In Case, bc with like salsa and salad I used to hate them.but now I love them. So I've tried olives multiple times, I've tried salmon and other fish, & im just like "hmmm that's still a no for me" but I will probably try them again. Someday. Such is my nature.

I love making hyper complex ocs that fit into whatever story they're for, idk how people can stand to just slap an oc into a story with no explanation. Where did they come from? Who is their entire extended family? What environmental changes shaped them into who they are today? How close to canon can you get them while still being op as shit but also still likeable and believable?
#anyways i made a soul eater oc cuase im rewatching it#yes theyre a love interest for stein who do you take me for?#theyre from tsubakis clan like her much older second step cousin or something#so they can transform into lots of different things#but their soul is super tiny and not easy for a meister to like. know whats going on in there#instead of a meister connecting to them they are able to just worm their way into a meisters soul and transform into whichever weapon#would be easiest for them to weild. which they knlw from merging with their soul ofc#they use this as a way to teach young meisters how to get a grip on handleing a weapon#some meisters get it right away but others need practice with a weapon thats gentle on them and doesnt hurt them#the catch tho is that stiens used to matcjing his soul to the weapon and theyre used to matching their soul to the meister#so they clash with him hard#which doesnt matter to them much cause they dont interact with him much considering theyre basically just a remeidial teacher#stiens students are usually more advanced so theyre in completely different parts lf the school#but stein is stein and hes a nosey bastard and wants to know whats up with them and why he cant get a good read on them#oh and their actual weapon form when not conforming to a meisters prefered weapon is a spray bottle of neurotoxin#and they look like a mushroom#they can change the components of the toxin to have varying symptoms and lethalities#stein: so you change weapons a lot but which one is your actual main? OC: oh you know. a spray gun filled with VX neurotoxin. Stein: what.#yeah idk what their name is yet but its probably gonna be a bastardized version of some sort of poison name
