Naming your Animal Crossing Island is difficult, so here's some help

 I still don't know what I will name my Animal Crossing: New Horizons island. I have a couple of ideas, yet I haven't focused on any. I'm beginning to feel the pressure, presently that we're not exactly a day from the game's release date. Truly, I probably won't focus on a name until the last moment when I first boot up the game. Yet, kindly, don't be like me.

This is a significant decision that deserves an idea out answer. You can't change your island's name, after all. Though I can't help myself, I can help you. There is something truly pleasant about "Nicole Land." (Let me know whether you choose this one.) Utilizing a neural network, Fine programmed the Island Name Generator to create around 10,000 "presumably unique" island names. To do this, he put together a lot of real-life island names with names of stuff in Animal Crossing — like residents, bugs, and fish — at a PC and had it "chew them all up and let out some pristine names."

I've been playing around with the Island Name Generator for a piece today and I've had some great choices come out. My top decision so far is "sears" — that is the reason there's a most likely in front of "presumably unique."

The themes are these: random, natural, tropical, ghastliness, fantasy, celestial, and yummy. I've just got incredible names, as "Silksteam" and "Fuchsiaweb," yet I think I've just chosen "Sears."

While rewatching all videos we have I noticed something that might be an indication about naming our islands.

In the treehouse demo the first nook mile is called "Treehouse Miles!", while in the trailer released in the Direct it was called "Ninten Miles!"

To me it looks like that mile will be called "%islandname Miles!" Which would mean that the character limit got increased. Before it was always just 8, but Treehouse is 9 characters long.

With the amount of space left on that card I can see the character limit to be set at 15 but no longer.
